What I expected, a great location (my opinion) secure, comfy beds, good air conditioning, clean bathroom small and worn but clean.
These unexpected things. Lobby is out dated with very old and uncomfortable couch\sofas. Dust bunnies are everywhere. Security is good, elevators only open to guest key cards. Corridores are tired, torn wall paper, broken extinguisher case. Bedroom is functional. Beds are comfortable. Mine had a tear in the linen and a washed out reddish stain on bed comforter(blood?gross!) I tossed it to the floor, problem solved. A/C worked well but had inches of dust bunnies hanging from the bottom.
The parking ,far walk .poor WIFI
Proximity to Old Montréal
Smelly room like lemon Pledge that didn’t go away.
Absolute number one on the list is the Location- I think that the location is perfect for those wanting to explore Chinatown, Old Montreal and the Old port of Montreal. It is also within easy walking distance to the LGBT quarter too. The staff that we dealt with were great and helped when we needed them to when trying to get our bearings
Whilst we enjoyed our stay, and the location we were in, I think that the hotel ( judging by our room only) could do with freshening up a bit to make the rooms feel brighter and a bit more modern.
