Pros: My husband and I stayed here on the last day of our honeymoon and it was lovely. The room we stayed in was on the smaller side but by no means cramped and very clean, done in a beautiful light blue, light green, and white palette. The lobby is spacious with lovely green tile. The staff was very friendly and helped suggest an affordable local restaurant nearby, which was delicious. We didn't have a chance to go in the pool, but the staff let us in to look at it after it had closed, which was very nice. It looked very lovely as well. We didn't have a lot of money to spend and found a great deal and were treated very well by the staff.

Our price, thanks you, was wonderful.
Cons: Although I checked in on line a day before arrival, our room was not ready. When they gave us a key, someone was in the room.
Finally when we finally got in the room, it was not the twin beds I had requested.
The last full day we were there, we came back to find a key in the electric switch.
This hotel is very careless about keys.
Prices for breakfast in the hotel were ridiculous.

Cons: The view on our room (one of the cheapest ones) did not have a good view, but I guess that is to be expected (it looked out over some flat rooftops with astroturf). One small thing, when we went out during the day my husband was dressed in a t-shirt and jeans and one the doormen sort of implied that he was looking for the wrong building, but it wasn't overtly rude, he just tried to stop him and ask if he could help direct him before he went in the door.

Pros:
Cons: When we (group of six people) book with paid in full and check in to hotel, we DID NOT know that we have to pay the taxes 2 euros per day and the person help to check in did not mention that either.
After we signed our name on the card which we DID NOT see the taxes 2 euros per day on the card, but when we check out someone put that taxes 2 euros per day on the card afterward. THAT IS NOT RIGHT. IT IS THE MATTER OF PRINCIPLE.
They can put any amount on the card after we signed.
We REFUSED to pay the taxes. I hope that the hotel do not charge us.

Pros: Clean and location
Cons: Staff is ok, but the so called lady executive mgr was not friendly and not try to solve problems. She did not try to make a six dollar error on a 3 nite stay. She said that mistake had to make by their executive DIRECTOR . That six dollar had to charge when we check out( they did not tell us when we checked in. And our was a PREPAID stay).
The washing sink basin was made of kind of soft pastic( in a 4, 5 star hotel ??).

Pros: Everyone and everything was perfect very kind personel and polite!
Cons:

Pros: The hospitality everywhere you go
Cons: I couldn’t Mention anything
7,0 Good
Pros: I was staying in room 727 and was disturbed but the drilling noise on two days they asked us to change the room but I felt but you start the work you should check if any guest is there or don’t put the guest in such room
Cons:
2,5 Mediocre
Pros:
Cons: I ended up at the Altis after a very long day of travel and a disastrous Airbnb experience left me and my friends without a place to stay. Desperate, we found the Altis on Kayak with a 5-star rating and were willing to put a little extra money in given how nice the place looked in the app. Unfortunately, this ended up being a terrible experience. The staff was extremely slow and unhelpful, making us wait a very long time to get to our rooms after a very long day. Moreover, the rooms bore absolutely no resemblance to the photos we saw on the app - they were outdated, dingy, and dirty. There were hairs in our showers, and the floors were stained. The bed was extremely uncomfortable. The wifi didn't work, coming in and out every few minutes. In fact, we ended our stay early given how bad the conditions were - though it took ages to do so at reception. There is no way this hotel is 5 stars and it should not be advertised as such. Personally, I would like for the hotel to compensate me in some way for such a misleading and poor experience.
9,6 Excellent
Pros: Friendly helpful staff
Cons: Nothing
8,0 Excellent
Pros: Concierge staff were terrific, location of the hotel was close enough to many sights, breakfast was amazing
Cons: Booked a superior room with courtyard view, got a small bed and not view to speak of
Other hotels we stayed in Paris or Warsaw offer complimentary water, here it’s only one time on arrival and they don’t advertise it unless you ask
8,0 Excellent
Pros:
Cons: on the moment that we arrived they where busy with work in a room above out room, that was not funny.
7,5 Good
Pros: Good location, clean hotel and breakfast was good.
Cons: Rooms aren’t sound proof and we were able to hear the noise from the next room.
9,0 Excellent
Pros: I liked the hotel in general though the interior was a little on dark side for my personal taste. The room was good and the hotel calm and quiet. Very good breakfast with very friendly staff. The fitness center was not very large but all equipment seemed to be in working order. Location was good with a short walk to the main avenue.
Cons: An unmistakable whiff of moisture/mould from the bathroom/shower in my room. Gym seemed to lack "rules of conduct". People making loud phone- and even videocalls in a (small) gym should not be tolerated.

Pros: Large King size bed on an upper floor (13th), so I did not experience the noise issues that other guests have written about. Well appointed room and bathroom (excellent water pressure).
Front desk staff, hostess and restaurant staff were efficient and also very friendly.
The inclusive breakfast was a nice addition; a large enough selection to satisfy most tastes.

Pros: We liked the location and the Staff were very helpful. The staff did everything they said they would do and we appreciated their positivity and quick response concerning the bed..
Cons: The bathroom was too small for 2 people. The mattress had to be turned or replaced( not sure which one) because it had dips on both sides.
The restaurant was over priced. The one dinner we had was very good and the presentation was beautiful, however, for 2 vodka tonics with absolute vodka cost 34 euro and the lobster salad, while beautifully presented, was 19 euro for 2 small claws and some greens.
9,0 Excellent
Pros: Great location. The breakfast was plentiful and included in the price of my room. There is a large buffet and you can also order off of a menu at no extra cost. The resturant for dinner was excellent as was the food served in the bar. All staff were helpful.
Cons: Service in bar could be hard to get, sometimes waiting for 10-15 minutes to be acknowledged. I think this is due to both low staffing and lay out. If the staff doesn't look around you won't be seen due to pillars and nooks.

Cons: Shower. Breakfast so crowded. Tv not loud enough. No English statio but news

Pros: Location, cleanliness, the room were all great.
Cons: Kayak says there’s a free airport shuttle, which is the main reason I booked this hotel. There is a shuttle, but it’s not free. It’s 13€. If it wasn’t for that, I would have nothing bad to say.

Pros: Very central, nice and clean. Good bar and staff in there lovely. Plenty of choice at breakfast
Cons: Our room was a very long walk from reception- the window in the bathroom didn’t shut so it was very cold in the room. There was a tv but despite many tries it did not work. Staff at reception weren’t interested in customer service.

Cons: I would have preferred a room on the front but otherwise very comfortable, central and clean.

Pros: great location in city and re airport bus/metro transport

5,0 Okay
Pros: Nothing
Cons: The room temperature is impossible to control. I was unable to sleep the 2 nights I have been there (the goal of an hotel is to sleep, and when that is not possible there not so much left good in a hotel) even tough the hotel is clean, there is almost no amenities, just one coffee sachet, the hotel is extremely hot, minibar with not much choice and too much expensive. From all the staff I encountered only one lady was nice, all the rest are inexperienced, rude and lack of professionalism. I won’t recommend this hotel and it will be my last time in this hotel chain.

Pros: Staff was extremely friendly, breakfast was excellent and location was fantastic.
Cons: There was a huge amount of mold in the room. I wiped off some of it and it came off easily. I was very surprised that they didn't clean something that was so visible. Really makes you wonder, if they don't clean the mold in visible places, what is going on when you can't see what's happening like preparing food? The level of mold was not only gross, it was actually dangerous.

Pros: Great basic breakfast that we really enjoyed and really friendly staff. Location is obviously what one is paying for. Rooms were also very clean.
Cons: Maintenance of the rooms and building; shower knob came out, thus using the shower was tricky and apparently unfixable. Tv was also broken and kept turning on and off. Toilet made noise day and night running water. Little things that add up in the end of the day. The staff couldn’t get anyone to fix anything nor was I offered to change a room.
8,0 Excellent
Pros: Close to everything in down town Lisbon, very friendly staff. Bathrooms and showers are pretty small, but you have to know that with where the building is located in downtown.
Cons: Bathrooms and room in general was a little tight, but being an older building downtown, it is to be expected.

Pros:
Cons: The noise of the pipes in the early morning but that is my only complaint
5,4 Okay
Pros:
Cons: I booked this hotel as it said - close to airport and Shuttle service, which usually means free shuttle. Well, it wasn't free, had to be pre-arranged, and ended up doubling the cost of the hotel room to stay here one night, for taxi to and from the airport. and was like 30 minutes from the airport.

Pros: It was quiet, comfortable and always exceptionally clean- always smelt fresh and so was very inviting. Sheets were clean . Temperature was just right in the room. Rooms sizes were very good. Staff were helpful, knowledgeable, professional. Lots of local restaurants and shops within striking distance.
Cons: It wasn’t as close to the centre as description led me to believe. View was not very good out of twin room -a wall and only slightly better out of the triple room.
9,2 Excellent
Pros: Rooms were spacious and always exceptionally clean. Temperature was ambient. The beds were very clean and comfortable.
Cons: Not as close to Central Lisbon/ amenyues as I was lead to believe. Further than walking distance for main tourism area.
8,2 Excellent
Pros: Room had a fridge and the heating and cooling system were quiet. The desk clerk was very nice.
Cons: Not a real exciting location. But, close enough to the metro to haul a suitcase (about seven blocks from Marques de Pombal).
8,0 Excellent
Pros: Good location, many car park spots around the hotel
Cons: They didn't offer me towels for shower.

Pros: We were 3 days in Lisbon and the room was good. Localization was great and we had great time.

Pros: We had the "attic" apartment for 7 (I think even 8 would squeeze in) and we had one bathroom and fully equiped kitchen for ourselves. The apartment is very spacious and as we were two families we loved that there were 2 separate (bed)rooms so we still could have some privacy. There is also a terrace which we unfortunately did not have a chance to use as it was raining when we were in the apartment. The hostel (for us more like 4* ! hotel) is located very close to a metro station and within a walkable distance to the centre. Nearby is Lidl and Auchan where we did our shopping for Porto wine ;-) (and other things). Our plane was leaving early in the morning and the metro starts 6:30 so we had to use the bus - 208 which stops almost in front of the hostel! (as of October 2019). Everything in this apartment exceeded our expectations and for a similar group (two families) I would not choose anything else!

Pros: Clean, comfortable beds, helpful staff, easy check-in and check-out.
Cons: There was a problem with hot water when we arrived ( i guess we just unlucky )), other than that - everything was fine.
5,4 Okay
Pros: Location was okay. Close to the metro and bus terminals
Cons: The hot water wasn’t working for 2 full days. Only was fixed on the last day of my stay. No compensation or anything. You can’t run a hotel without hot water. Was not happy!

Pros: The early check-in (8:00)
Cons:
3,0 Mediocre
Pros:
Cons: no hot water. cement floors. no soap. bad neighborhood. decrepit furniture
4,0 Okay
Pros: Close to a subway station, relatively central location.
Cons: No hot water for the entire week. No compensation offered, nothing, not even a good explanation for what happened and when would be fixed. When asked for an invoice for my company, I received a wrong total in EUR, with a wrong card number used for the payment, took them few days to issue that. I replied that those details were wrong, asked for a new correct invoice to be issued. Never heard from the property again.

Pros: Prime location
Cons: Room service very bad

Pros: We were 3 days in Lisbon and the room was good. Localization was great and we had great time.
Cons: The only one thing was that was a bit loud with open window form the street

Cons: Small issue with a slow shower water outflow was fixed by my husband when he cleaned the drain ;-) We would appreciate some tablecloth. Otherwise everything was just perfect!
