Cons: They charged my stay before I arrived. Not good!!!!!! I was going to pay with another card and the one that I gave to guarantee the stay had already been charged. And they did nothing!!!!!!
7,1 Good
Pros: The decorations of the Lobby are beautiful. The facilities of the hotel meet with a 5-star luxury hotel with four swimming pools. The indoor pool with warm salty water is spectacular.
Cons: Given the price of a two bedroom apartment for 1500 Euro, the bedrooms are extremely small. Since the bedrooms are located on the second floor, we have to move our luggage up to the rooms. We can hardly open our luggage bags on the floor as the room is only big enough for placing the bed. This is hardly a 5-star luxury hotel standard. Very disappointing in this respect. Not value for money at all. The food in the restaurant is just so so.
9,6 Excellent
Pros: The definition of luxory in Puglia
10,0 Excellent
Pros: Architecture, the main building access to all facilities
Cons: Of course the knowledge of the advisors on the property was excellent,, it’s the information about the area around to visit was very limited
10,0 Excellent
Pros: Absolutely amazing property. Great location
Cons: Nothing at all
9,2 Excellent
Pros: Rocky beach great. Lovely rooms. Beautifully furnished and decorated Large swimming pools. Breakfast delicious! Enjoyed cycling to the beach and back.
Cons: Front desk not especially helpful. Insistent on using their private cars instead of local firms which were far cheaper.
8,0 Excellent
Pros: The high end restaurant was generally a disappointment . The food was complicated and more suited to Paris or London . Good cuisine from Puglia which is straightforward would be much better . We went into the local village and had dinner there . Very simple local food - which we found was better . Not to mention much less expensive !
Cons: See above .
10,0 Excellent
Pros: Charming luxurious property-very well appointed room and bathroom with excellent service
Cons: Quite difficult to navigate around the property and you do need a car if you want to explore as the hotel is in the middle of olive groves
10,0 Excellent
Pros: Everything was really great, we enjoyed our stay completely. Received an upgrade from the hotel to a better room, it was very spacious, clean and had private patio. Breakfasts are great, great choice of food. There is a private beach that you can reach by bikes or with a shuttle that leaves every 20 minutes.
Cons: Everything was perfect! The only moment is that closer to the end of breakfast there is no food left almost, we ordered smth from the kitchen, when came at 10.40 but the buffet was empty.

Pros: Beautiful hotel and building. Great service. Nice location.
Cons: Some things were overpriced. Pool water was cold even though it is meant to be heated.

Pros: The breakfast
Cons: Lite stiff! The ambience could be more cousy for ex lounge music by the pool
10,0 Excellent
Pros: It's a long time since I stayed here but it was great to return and see everything still wonderful. Excellent hotel with incredibly friendly helpful happy staff, beautiful location and the food is super good. Good facilities for children which kept my 6 year old very happy too. Love it.
9,6 Excellent
Pros: Amazing location, amazing service Great massages and treatments @ SPA
Cons: It is s dream place
9,2 Excellent
Pros: The property is so peaceful, beautiful and relaxing. The beach club is one of the best I’ve been to, we spent every day there having fresh fish for lunch and swimming in the warm and salty Adriatic. The staff throughout the property is great. We stayed in the suite with private pool which was nice to have. The shared pool was also fantastic.
Cons: The suite is in a cave room under the little church above it. It’s a huge room with living room as well but it is a bit dark and damp.
7,5 Good
Pros: Breakfast was fab, couldn’t fault it. Very fresh, lots of choice, will cook eggs/bacon/mushrooms on request.
Cons: It was very pretentious. The service was mixed - some people were lovely, other’s were very patronising and were very accommodating to some guests, not so much to others. They seemed very false (albeit the odd person who were genuine). If you ate/drank every day/evening in their restaurant/bar then it seemed they were more accommodating, but if you only got the odd drink like us then they didn’t want to know. The drinks and food was extortionate compared to anywhere else we’d been in the whole of Puglia - yet the service and quality didn’t warrant the prices. I had a Bellini one day that was made with concentrated peach juice, and the tiniest dash of prosecco - it cost 15 euros. In contrast, I had a Bellini in a little cocktail bar a mile down the road in Savalletri - it was made with fresh purée that the waiter made there and then (toasted pineapple, cinnamon and coconut), and plenty of prosecco... this cost 7 euros!!! One day we asked if The shuttle could take us to Savalletri for the evening and pick us up so we could have a drink - bearing in mind it’s 1.5 miles away... yet they tried to charge us 50 euros!!! I imagine because we chose not to pay their outrageous prices for dinner!! The food in Savalletri was incredible, so fresh and well made - and it was less than half the price!! The hotel charges a fortune for average food. One lunch we ate at the beach club, and my pizza was pretty much a pizza base with dried lettuce and a few bits of pancetta on top!! It was supposed to have avocado but this was missed off!! Another day we tried the food at the pool - and for 18 euros we had the tiniest bowl of pasta with a few tomatoes and some cheese on top!! Something I could’ve easily made myself!! Overall we just felt so let down - we’d built out whole trip around the stay here, yet it was by far the worst service/experience we’d had.

Pros: The whole experience was wonderful
Cons: Nothing
9,0 Excellent
Pros: A fabulously find...a real retreat and everyone was so friendly and helpful. A gorgeous setting, delicious breakfast & Amazing local food available on request prepared by the owners mother.
Cons: Nothing for me..I will definitely return but others may not like that there is no restaurant so limited availability of food and drinks during the day & late evening when staff not on site. You also must have a car.
9,6 Excellent
Pros: The grounds and buildings are beautiful, and have been restored in a very tasteful manner. The whole place feels very unspoilt and authentic: very in-keeping with the local surroundings. The pool area is something quite special. Often this can be overlooked but we felt it was one of the highlights of the property. Rosangela and Brenda perfectly balance giving you independence whilst also being there for anything you might need. Although there isn't a restaurant on-site, there is a pre-order menu available and Rosangela was more than accommodating for a very special request one evening. We would highly recommend Masseria Brigantino for couples - perfectly equipped with lots of little areas to relax.
10,0 Excellent
Pros: Just awesome!
9,6 Excellent
Pros: incredible place, wonderful breakfast and lovely pool - cant recommend enough
Cons: nothing it was all great
10,0 Excellent
Pros: Lovely place to stay easy drive to main road to access all the surrounding areas. Property itself is quiet with lovely pool. Couple nice restaurants in walking distance and the dinner at the place was also lovely.
10,0 Excellent
Pros: The property is beautiful, peaceful and tranquil. Roseangela and her staff go out of their way to make sure guests are enjoying their stay. Brenda was an absolute delight! always with great recommendations for dinner, making reservations for us and sharing info about the neighbouring towns and culture. The breakfast was very good, the property is immaculate, the pool is beautiful and spa services are available. It is very close to the beach on a bike and many neighbouring towns by car. A real gem, we would definitely stay again.
Cons: Loved everything.
10,0 Excellent
Pros: Gorgeous property, amazing breakfasts, super helpful staff team who were happy to organise things for us (cookery class with their chef, visit to local mozzarella masseria, dinner reservations) and recommend the best places to visit. Eating antipasti and drinking primitivo on the terrace overlooking the olive trees was absolutely divine!

Pros: Outstanding place, so elegant. Service is at its best everywhere: reception, restaurant (special mention for the tall lady!) bar, pool.. This makes a huge difference with many other places of the « same » luxury category. Our 2 days were a complete dream !
7,9 Good
Pros: The pool was fantastic.
Cons: Pretentious
9,2 Excellent
Cons: The beach club
10,0 Excellent
Pros: Wonderful service, room, gardens and restaurant. Loved it.
Cons: Silly they charge for omelets in a hotel this expensive, and sillier still that scrambled eggs with the same ingredients are included in the breakfast and free of charge.
10,0 Excellent
Cons: very quite and serene. beauriful buildings and kind staff
10,0 Excellent
Pros: Everything. It’s absolutely epic.
4,6 Okay
Pros: Nice grounds.
Cons: Like an old people’s’ home in terms of decor and styling. A real time piece and a reminder of what was thought of as ok 30 years ago before every just got better. Poor in attentive service with inflexible timings. Paid over $1000 per night for 5 star service and was hugely disappointed and left after 1 night ( I had booked for 3 nights) to stay in a much, much better local hotel. The rocky beach is reached by a 1 km walk partly along a busy road without pavement past a derelict factory. The staff tried to tell me it was closed at 6pm but eventually let me have a drink. No families and the only younger people were the younger ladies attentively accompanying their elderly uncles......
9,6 Excellent
Pros: Everything!!! Beautiful place, wonderful service and breakfast. Would definitely come back.
Cons: Almost nothing to complain about! The only thing I could say is that would'be nice if the indoor pool was available for all the guests, or the guests that use any service at the spa. Instead, they are only available for those who book a day package at the spa.
Masseria Cimino - Savelletri - Building

Overview Reviews
The Masseria Cimino offers a pleasant stay in Savelletri for those traveling for business or leisure. At the end of a busy day, travelers can unwind and relax in the hotel or go out and enjoy the city. When it comes to Savelletri hotels, the Masseria Cimino is highly regarded for its excellent facilities.
9,6 Excellent
Pros: Unpretentious luxury at its best. Striking interiors, delicious farm to table dinners, quiet surroundings of olive groves and golf course, friendly and helpful staff, proximity to beautiful Ostuni and Alberobello and access to nearby Cala Masciola beach club made for a memorable stay. Would love to stay here again in future
8,3 Excellent
Pros: Really charming traditional truli hotel. Staff was nice. Dinner was really tasty. Breakfast was great with many options.
Cons: The room was too hot even with the AC on.
9,2 Excellent
Pros: We loved that fact that the masseria grows its own & abundance of vegetables and served us for dinner. Dinner was served in a buffet style but everything was very elegant and professional servers were tending our table. Our room was very charming, romantic and cozy. The bathroom was large and luxurious with jacuzzi bathtub and two sinks. We enjoyed the walk along the golf course and the vegetable garden as well as a walk to the seaside. It was the last night of our 10-day vacation in Puglia, and Masseria Cimino really made a special memory for us.
Cons: There is nothing that we didn't like. If I must say something, I would say that there was not a lot of windows in this old farm house.
8,3 Excellent
Pros: Very relaxed and intimate Masseria, with lovely original rustic feel throughout. The property is very well located with close proximity to the beach and further helped by having a small pool (not heated) which is a nice addition for a small Masseria. The property borders the San Domenico golf course and offers combined room & golf packages. The room was compact yet functional with lovely rustic charm with all key amenities included. The service is hands off yet there is always staff on hand for any requests and the staff we interacted with were all very approachable and responsive. Our stay included a four course meal in the evening comprised of delightful local puglian ingredients and home cooked food, as if you were dining at someone’s home! This property is a great lower key and relaxed option to neighbouring Borgo Egnezia (short drive down the road).
10,0 Excellent
Pros: The friendly welcome of the hostes. The excepional kitchen. The wonderful location in the middle of nature.
5,8 Okay
Pros: On the positive side the breakfast and food, although not extensive, was excellent. The cakes were delicious and the evening meal was very good. The staff who served dinner and breakfast were extremely friendly and attentive. Cleanliness was also very high as the room was spotless. There are free bikes and a bar which serves a good selection of gin. You can also use the sister property Borgo Egnazia, which was very useful, due to the overcrowding and small pool at the Masseria. Food and spa services can be charged back to your room and you can cycle from the Masseria in less than 10 minutes. We used the Borgo Egnazia's large pool for a day and had lunch at one of their restaurants.
Cons: This is not a 5* hotel as the facilities are rundown and very basic. The rooms are very small, dark and poorly furnished. We booked a suite which was really just two interconnecting rooms, with two very small bathrooms, two mini bars and two separate entrances and key numbers. The sitting room area had a single bed for the seat, and this was not very comfy. The hotel sells itself on being rustic and romantic. However, we have stayed in other hotels and Masseria's which are described as rustic, but the standard of the rooms and quality of the furniture was 5*, here it was tired and tatty.Instead of glasses in the room we had polystyrene cups, my wardrobe was a canvas organiser and the outside patio furniture was very uncomfortable. It is described as a boutique hotel but when we stayed there were over 35 people staying, with a small pool and only 10 sun loungers by the pool. There is a small gym but two out of 4 of the pieces of equipment were broken. Unfortunately the prices charged are 5* prices and the Masseria, lovely though the staff are, is not 5*.
9,6 Excellent
Pros: The old stone whitewashed buildings full of nooks and crannies
Cons: Maybe a couple more electric sockets in the room would be helpful
9,2 Excellent
Pros: Beautifully decorated rooms. Exactly what we look for. Farmlike and Meditteranean chick. Simple yet elegant.
Cons: There was a noisy friends/family party with children. Since it was rainy weather we had to stay inside which is quite small, and with lots of people who we think were not staying in the hotel, we felt somewhat neglected. For such a beautifully made and presented masseria I guess we expected no outside interference and a more peaceful atmosphere..
7,1 Good
Pros: The people were very friendly . It was very authentic.
Cons: The food was not that good.
10,0 Excellent
Pros: The bed, clean ironed bed sheets everything

Pros: The service was excellent and the pool area was divine.
Cons: There wasn't always staff around so if I needed an iron and board or would like a cocktail near the pool, it wasn't always possible.
10,0 Excellent
Pros: It’s a wonderful place , close to restaurants and amazing beaches. The staff was very helpful and kind . The rooms clean , comfortable and the breakfast was delicious ! Loved everything about San Velletri!
7,9 Good
Pros: Friendly, welcoming and charming service. Spacious rooms. Traditional furnishings not quite our style, but pool area is lovely and the hospitality of the hosts and staff is wonderful. Felt very welcome.
10,0 Excellent
Pros: Great service, the breakfast arrangement was amazing. The staff provided excellent service throughout the stay.
Cons: Everything was perfect
9,6 Excellent
Pros: This place is super welcoming and friendly. It’s a beautiful place and had everything we needed. If it didn’t, all we had to do was ask and nothing was too much trouble. The rooms were super clean and the kitchen was very well equipped. They have a tie in with a beach club called Sabbiodoro, which was incredible. A little pricey at 70€ but was worth it for a bit of luxury and super family friendly and only 10 mins drive from the guest house. An added bonus was all the beach toys they leant us for our stay. It’s such a great location to visit Fasano, Ostuni etc and lots of nice restaurants in Sevelletri. The road is busy and I wouldn’t walk, so you do have to drive, but only 1 min and you can’t hear the road at all from the apartment. Lovely welcoming stay, thank you.
7,1 Good
Pros: Made the room available at 13.30 instead of normal check in time at 15.00.
Cons: Breakfast was a bit poor and not included in room rate.

8,3 Excellent
Pros: The breakfast was delicious, including fresh figs picked from trees on the property. The room was more like a mini apartment as it had spacious living area and a kitchenette, something we only realised upon arrival. The owner was helpful and answered all our questions on the area. The landscape is pretty, with gorgeous ancient olive trees surrounding the property. The beauty of the trees and land fully compensated the rather ugly food processing factory that you drive by when exiting the main road. This bnb served our purpose of having a calm stop before embarking on a ferry from brindisi the following morning, but can imagine it would also work well as a base for a holiday in puglia.
10,0 Excellent
Pros: We had a very relaxing stay. Very pretty b&b in a rural part of Fasano, which was the perfect base for us to explore the surrounding area. The b&b had all the comforts you may need during your stay, it was spotless and the breakfast was yummy! Leonardo was the perfect host, super friendly and gave us great restaurant and lido suggestions, he's very knowledgeable about the area. The b&b is surrounded by beautiful olive trees. Hope to come back one day!
Cons: We liked everything!

Pros: Great value for money and excellent host!

Pros: Beautiful Masseria with nice old details - beautiful gardens with lovely olive trees and a bird pond. Great pool and lovely place to have breakfast outside.
9,6 Excellent
Pros: We enjoyed our stay, the staff is lovely. The hotel is really nice.
Cons: Maybe the matress was a bit hard for me
8,3 Excellent
Pros: Bellissima masseria! This is a beautiful structure among olive trees in an excellent location to explore the local sites/towns/ beaches. The Masseria itself is really well kept and has its own character. We had lunch here one day and it was really good too. Plenty of open space, good size pool, if you like a lazy afternoon. It is located really close to the Fasano Zoo which is amazing for children (and not only!) The breakfast is absolutely amazing, freshly baked cakes, a selection of drinks and also you can make bruschetta with local friselle, tomatoes and olive oil. Also savoury breakfast is available. Coffees made directly from an Italian bar/ coffee machine. It is clean and well looked after. We really enjoyed the stay and were able to go and visit nearby towns as well as reach the beach. Differently from other Masseria, Don Sante is easy to find even in the evening. We made sure to buy a large tank of their extra virgin olive oil, nicely nested in our lugguage for our happy return.
Cons: This is really not a complaint, just suggestions for improvement: the hams and cheeses coming with breakfast could be better, I did not think they represented well the local produce. However as mentioned, the breakfast offers plenty of choice and there are other yummy things to pick from. On a different topic, in the evening the Masseria was kind of 'switched off'. Whilst this is partially because we visited at the end of August, I also think that someone being available on the location during the night would feel more reassuring and also having some lights on in the little square and people around would have felt a bit more lively. Finally, there is a slide for children and adding some more fun stuff in that area would definitely make it more fun for children.
7,5 Good
Pros: Service was good , breakfast was Italian (so mainly sweet) with not much selection (but all Masserias offer pretty much the same). It was very clean in the room.
Cons: Beds were not comfortable, pillows were hard, the worst was the shower as it the size of 40x40 (I am not joking) and a curtain around it , so there’s no way you can move really when taking a shower and the curtain sticks to your body. Furthermore, there’s a small boiler of 30L for hot water , which means that already at the second shower there are hardly any warm water. Can’t imagine what It is like when staying as a family (we were just two people) So showering experience was really bad.
9,6 Excellent
Pros: Breakfast was typical Italian style cold meats, cheese, veg, croissants, home made cakes etc . Dinner was only a fixed menu.which was excellent anti pasti which was about 12 different plates of excellent local produce followed by two pasta dishes and a dessert all cooked really well. The meal price was very good value for money and their wine was superb. The room price was also good value. Staff were very sociable, attentive, and made us feel very welcome. Our room (11) was an original part of the building and was really very nice. Nothing negative about this property and the whole family worked very hard to ensure our stay was comfortable and relaxed.
Cons: The pool could do with some sun shades as you are not allowed to move the loungers away from the pool onto the grass but the pool itself was really clean and a good size. This is not a complaint just an observation.
9,2 Excellent
Pros: Lovely place in the midst of an olive grove with several low buildings, maintaining the architecture of the area. Delicious food and kind service.
Cons: It was difficult to communicate in English as they only spoke Italian, but they were willing to help in any way they could.
7,5 Good
Pros: Pool area and property grounds were very nice and well kept. Dinner at the Masseria was very good.
Cons: A/C was a little weak, bathroom could use some updating. Breakfast was also just OK.
8,3 Excellent
Pros: Amazing food here at a really good price. The staff were very nice and accomodating.
Cons: It's a 2- star hotel so nothing to really complain about.
10,0 Excellent
Pros: Hosts great, food in the evening is wonderful, well priced and quiet relaxing area
Cons: Nothing
7,5 Good
Pros: The territory is beautiful, the masseria is very quiet with the birds singing outside. We had a nice breakfasts and local style lunches Masseria is not in the city, but very close to it and has a free transfer from Fasano station Thank you for everything!
Cons: There was a broken net in our room, nobody fixed it, so e were bitten by mosquitoes and flies:( we asked to repair it for 5 times. But I understand there was no people to fix, during our stay

9,2 Excellent
Pros: The property is unusual, it has oodles of character and history and the grounds are spectacular as are the views. It is rural and very very authentic. The staff are wonderful and most helpful
Cons: Bed was hard but this I gotten used to. More drinking water options to purchase would be ideal. In the gym (an open ended outside room which i loved!) getting some 5kg Olympic weights would help as currently only 10kg making the bar 40kg when loaded with one plate each side - too heavy for a number of people
9,6 Excellent
Pros: History, style, staff. Borgo San Marco takes you completely away from the crowded touristic areas of Puglia. The area by the pool and the surrounding "meditation" areas are beautiful. Olive trees everywhere to add to it's imense charm. I am definitely returning.
Cons: Unfortunately the new bedrooms near olive trees where my brother stayed smelled a bit like mold, the sink did not drain well and the shower did not adjust temperature properly (warm water could only activate after sink fosset was used...?). Breakfast could have a few more local breads or pastries. Hopefully these are easy fixes to such a wonderful place. My room inside the masseria building on the other hand was fantastic with everything perfect.
10,0 Excellent
Pros: loved everything about this place. so clean, such great food, so sweet staff - highly recommended!
10,0 Excellent
Pros: We stayed 7 nights and didn't want to leave. Everything at Borgo San Marco was incredible....especially the authentic Italian food (the pasta buffet and unlimited wine at lunch was a highlight we kept going back to), and the pool area. The details are everywhere, in the decoration of the property, the interiors, the bedrooms.....the website and instagram don't do justice to how immaculately well presented and thought out it is. Also the staff always went above and beyond to help us..including setting up the courtyard for a romantic dinner for two on our last night. A truly amazing oasis in the heat of Puglia, time stops and the days all bleed into one.
Cons: Nothing
10,0 Excellent
Pros: We loved this property and would happily stay again ... staff we helpful and friendly... rooms were lovely .... grounds were amazing and food was exceptional
Cons: It is a little isolated... without a car it could be difficult although this isolation meant space to us and it suited better ... we made use of taxi service which the staff arranged for us
9,2 Excellent
Pros: The location was beautiful, staff very friendly, welcoming and helpful. Food was amazing.
Cons: The friendly staff, beautiful pool, authentic rooms and traditional Apulia meals were amazing taste sensations.
8,8 Excellent
Pros: Beautiful traditional Italian building in a tranquil setting
Cons: The hotel is very expensive for food and only provides a set menu which at 40 Euros a head is a lot (35 if you have one less course) for dinner before you add in drinks. Lunch is equally pricey at 25 Euros a head. The food is good but I would have preferred to be able to choose something light on some days.
7,9 Good
Pros: Beautiful lagoon-style pool. Plenty of space around it to chill out, surrounded by miles of olive groves. The borgo has been beautifully decorated in a relaxed country-chic style. Breakfast (especially outside in a courtyard) is great. Friendly reception.
Cons: It is an old building. My room was in the main building, and it could sometimes be a bit noisy (though not at night). Depending on how the wind blows, one can hear traffic from the highway (the property is not far from the exit). I had dinner one evening which was nice but really nothing special - there is much better to be had in the region.
10,0 Excellent
Pros: This places is dreamy. Surrounded, by orchards and olive trees, a wonderful authentic farm stay. The property is stunning, inside and out. The rooms are cool and spacious and tastefully decorated. The entire place boats with incredible puglian chic simplicity, less is so much more. This is reflected in the delicious simple tasting dishes to the style. We had lunch and dinner here and I love how you pay a set price and get numerous courses which surprise you as they come out. The pool is fab it is surrounded by rock and feels super natural as if you are walking into the sea. The grounds a superb for a lovely walk. The staff gave excellent recommendations on where to eat outside of the masseria and were attentive and lovely throughout.I could live here.
Cons: Loved everything
10,0 Excellent
Pros: Authentic and well presented Masseria, surrounded by centuries-old olive trees. The food offering is absolutely superb- traditional Puglia cuisine made with the best local produce. Room was very comfortable and clean. The friendly staff was at our disposal for any need.
Cons: Only negative is the distance from the sea- although close (10 min by car), it is not easily reachable by bike

Pros: Not at all fancy but very adequate facilities and lovely pool and location by the sea. Breakfast is nice
Cons: Sallvetri is quiet and not much to it. Teenagers would prefer more activity. Lunch and dinner at hotel not very exciting and pricey for what it is. A lot of restaurants in walking distance . Mixed experience.

Pros: Located right on a sea, closer than that is impossible. Beautiful pool with service at your lounge chair, great food and wine and staff that goes out of the way to make your stay perfect. Extremely clean rooms with soft towels. Ask for sea view room and you won’t be disappointed.

Pros: Amazing sea-view and pool territory, very welcome stuff, very clean rooms and the territory.
Cons: Breakfast could be better.
9,6 Excellent
Pros: The location and surroundings are fabulous.
Cons: The rooms are not particularly spacious and the air con could be a little more effective. The place is spotlessly clean and I would totally recommend. What the rooms lack the rest of the facilities make up for. One of our favourite places in Puglia.

Pros: Its fairly new so everything was in top condition beautiful design from the paint on the walls to the amazing garden work they have managed to make it look like the building has grow up from the ground rather than being built it’s all very natural looking but above all the staff make this place its very relaxed and friendly
Cons: This part of Italy is not the prettiest
7,1 Good
Pros: The rooms and the Masseria are very nice.
Cons: I had never been offered with a kids menu at the restaurant. This is necessary for dinner. The plates are very expensive for kids. The beach is nice but the facilities are old.
9,6 Excellent
Pros: The breakfast was incredible: probably the best I've had (big chunks of honeycomb!). Our room was stunning with it's own private terrace. The pool was beautiful. And the level of service was incredible. Everything has been thought of here and the vibe is relaxed luxury. Treat yourself.
10,0 Excellent
Pros: Immaculate property and room. Lovely and knowledgeable staff. Service was top. Room and property were stunning.
9,2 Excellent
Pros: Excellent and attentive staff. Well appointed and comfortable rooms. Sumptuous breakfast.
9,2 Excellent
Pros: Fantastic and beautifully renovated property. In a lovely location with easy access (if you have a car) to nearby towns and villages in puglia. Staff were all brilliant and could not do enough to help. The pool area and the facilities are fantastic, breakfast was plentiful and varied with both a buffet and menu option considering the small number of rooms (40). The access to the beach club, which has the clearest water and lovely sand in this area of Puglia, was an added bonus.
Cons: The restaurant prices in the hotel were very high compared to surrounding restaurants which we visited which is such a shame, it meant that the restaurant often had very few people in. Whilst we had planned to eat there, the lack of atmosphere meant we went out to eat each night of our stay.

8,8 Excellent
Pros: We stayed at B&B Lamascopone for five nights. Friends already holidaying in the area. Jovanna very friendly and could not do enough for us. Breakfasts were excellent. Pool area superb. The only changes would be to hire a car next time. and manage the driving. Otherwise we were more than happy with our short stay. Going home to learn Italian
Cons: The bed was a little bit hard for my Partner. A car is a definite requirement if you want to get about.
10,0 Excellent
Pros: Great location. Peaceful yet close to all key locations. Very clean . Great value for money
8,3 Excellent
Pros: Giovana the responsible is super nice and the place is very beautiful. Towels are changed every day and rooms are cleaned.
Cons: There was some construction works in the hotel waking us up every morning. The hotel could have warn us before our arrival or at least propose a reduction but didn’t. For the breakfast you only have dry biscuits with jam (no croissant/no juice/no bread). Overall decent but over priced.

Overview Reviews
Visitors to Fasano will find that the Masseria Marzalossa is a fantastic accommodation choice. When guests have some time on their hands they can make use of the onsite facilities. Travelers requiring pickup service can book this directly through the hotel.
9,2 Excellent
Pros: Authentic Masseria with wonderfully friendly staff. We had the pleasure of meeting Sharon, who was so helpful in showing us the area and arranging day trips and dinner reservations. This is a good location to have an extended stay to explore the area. The food was done of the best we had even compared to more expensive restaurants.
Cons: Service is a bit slow due to a small staff. Furniture in rooms could be updated and remain authentic and better tv option.
6,7 Good
Pros: The staff were initially welcoming, collecting bags etc and the place is attractive with a very nice pool. The "suite" was comfortable but really no more than a large double with 2 armchairs. Nice and clean bathroom.
Cons: Almost everything. Staff may be nice (as others say) but they are so hard to find it's difficult to know - you have to search for them if you need anything. No-one mans the bar or clears towels and glasses etc round the pool. We had a one course lunch which was very uninspiring. The restaurant area is depressing with dreary background music. The suite was OK, but with an awful outdoor area that you would not spend 2 minutes in. Non-residents allowed to use the pool, adding to the noise and distractions - very un-relaxing by the pool (and with umbrellas that are too small). Very quiet with little customer experience. Staff not apologetic when things go wrong, and finally you have to take your bags back to the car.
10,0 Excellent
Pros: We appreciated being able to check in earlier than most hotels . Beautiful country setting.
Cons: I think charging 6 euros extra for eggs or 6 euros extra for a glass of fresh orange juice at breakfast is not appropriate for the high cost of the rooms which is located way out in the countryside.
9,2 Excellent
Pros: The best team! The best masseria in Fasano!
9,2 Excellent
Pros: A charming and authentic masseria experience, the property is well located to Fasano, the beaches of Savelletri and other points of interest. Very friendly staff.
Cons: N/A
10,0 Excellent
Pros: The service was out of this world. We could not have been treated better.
Cons: This will sound picky: the keys were bulky.
9,6 Excellent
Pros: Amazing pool and empty a lot of the time! Comfortable room (junior suite) with a private little garden. Helpful, friendly, polite staff who helped us with restaurant bookings and recommendations. Good location for Alberobello, Locorotondo, Cisternino, Ostuni, Monopoly, Polignano a Mare...only an hour from Bari airport. Argo the friendliest and happiest dog in Italy.
Cons: Our room (6) was not that far from a road so we did get some road noise but not that disturbing. Air con could be cooler at night but not much to be done in 34° heat! Some better shutters over the door, the curtain lets in a lot of light in the morning.

Pros: The pool area is stunningly beautiful

Pros: Beautiful buildings with fantastic courtyards and gardens

Pros: The outside sky....
7,9 Good
Pros: It is ok spot if you have car, and you can visit different places around.
Cons: Breakfast could be much better and also internet connection could be improved.
7,5 Good
Pros: The food was fantastic. We ate dinner and breakfast there and greatly enjoyed both. The front desk attendent was beyond kind went above and beyond for us. The towels were wonderful. Food and location were the saving graces.
Cons: The beds were uncomfortable, the pillows were tiny and hard, the tiny tiny room size, the lack of ability to buy some small personal items at the front desk. I.E. femanine products, tooth brushes and headache meds. Pool hours were too short. Pool closes at 6! That is almost pointless for one nighters or after a long day exploring.
10,0 Excellent
Pros: The croissants were not too good like I expected in Italy. The bed was OK.
Cons: The place for the children it was too small and in front of the entry of the hotel not to safe for the children because the people who comes with cars stop just a few metres from there. And the games were too poor and just two

Pros: Beautiful pool and gardens and breakfast!
Cons: Rooms were a bit outdated and the AC wasn’t strong.
9,6 Excellent
Pros: Surrounding area / plantation, trees if the property
Cons: Opening this me of the swimming pool, early closure. It should be open until 20:00 at least.
6,7 Good
Pros: Beautiful hotel in lovely surrounds. Huge pool (although salt water). The breakfast buffet is superb and staff v. helpful. We had a deluxe suite, which was huge and the bathroom even bigger.
Cons: There's no way this is a 5* it's too rough around the edges and there's no way near enough staff on hand to provide the level of service a 5* experience requires. In addition - no restaurant or bar after breakfast (except for minimal pool side bar which ends circa 6pm). You wouldn't necessarily want to stay and have dinner here, the local area is far more interesting! But it'd be nice to have the option of an evening drink. It's crying out for at least a decent evening bar and possibly an evening restaurant if there was demand. Personally I would say owner is running this place on a minimal skeleton crew. It's enough to do what they do well, but not enough to claim a 5* rating.

Cons: It is NOT a 5 star hotel
10,0 Excellent
Pros: Del Cardinale is simply one of those stand out vacation properties that really takes your breath away. Whilst at the hotel, I was reminded of one of those price comparison site adverts where they simply showed guests happy expressions when the opened the door to their holiday hotel … you never saw the hotel or the room … just the intense happiness in the couple or families faces. Del Cardinale does this …and then you get even more satisfaction when you think this amazing super 5 star property (set in an enormous plot with one of the best pools I have ever used at a hotel) costs less than a small room in London. The value is outstanding, the food is great, the staff (although English is a little hit and miss) attentive and want to make your stay a real pleasure. The hotel never feels crowded, since there are so many areas to relax and enjoy the sun, the pool and beautiful surroundings (from the furniture to the beautiful trees and grounds. The staff at reception and the management should be highlighted for their outstanding service … nothing is too much for them. You really do feel instantly relaxed and in a proper holiday mode. An added bonus is that the hotel sits within Puglia … which is Italy’s ascendant region, a place where travellers bored or worn down by the crowds of Campania and Tuscany escape for something a bit less frenetic and real. With the longest coastline of any region in mainland Italy, Puglia is larger than many people realise. It truly is god’s country. Puglia’s cucina povera is about as earthy as Italian cuisine gets without eating it straight out of the soil. h the longest coastline of any region in mainland Italy, Puglia is larger than many people realise. In the north, the spur of land sticking out into the Adriatic is occupied by the balmy microclimates of the Gargano peninsula, a kind of miniature Amalfi with fewer poseurs Federico Fellini would certainly recognise "the sweet life" or "the good life” if he stayed at the Del Cardinalle. As a postscript. I went to Puglia and Del Cardinalle for a wedding. Never having been to the area before. I am already planning my next trip to both. Now that is the best recommendation one can really give!
5,4 Okay
Cons: The showers of the swimming pool stunk of pee and baths were dirty

Pros: Beautiful pool and grounds, excellent breakfast.
Cons: Shower was very weak
9,2 Excellent
Pros: The staff was absolutely amazing. Breakfast was very good with lots of choice. We were upgraded to supreme room and it was a stunning room. Stunning looking venue.
Cons: It was advertised as 5 star hotel with restaurant, fitness etc but it was more a bed and breakfast with pool. It might sound silly but in a supreme room the tv was the size of a PC screen.
2,5 Mediocre
Pros: I don’t think there was anything I liked about this place. Very disappointed.
Cons: This hotel was especially noisy. The hotel is very big and the walls are very thin. I was woke at 6am on a Saturday due to the extremely loud noises coming from above my room. There was constant chair and table dragging across the floor for a good 3 hours straight, assuming they were setting up for a wedding. There was nothing more infuriating when I booked into the hotel looking forward to a relaxing evening and a good sleep! Fortunately I was only there the one night otherwise I would have asked to be moved. I was very angry that this woke me so early. I don’t understand why they have a mini bar fridge in the room, turned on but nothing inside. What a waste! The rooms also became very very cold during the night as they are very big in size, with just cold stone white walls. There is only a bed sheet on the bed, no duvet cover. My husband did find a duvet in the cupboard but it was just that - a duvet, no bed sheets for it, assuming they don’t wash the duvets everyday as they would do the sheets it makes me wonder how many people before me have used this, I stayed cold through the night instead. I had to iron a dress for a wedding I was attending in a town nearby and they only had 2 irons for the entire masseria so I had to opt to go out with an extremely wrinkly dress as the reception said they couldn’t get me it as someone else had it. They couldn’t even try or ring the other room to see how long it was needed. Very disappointed. Staff were not very friendly at all. The swimming pool was green and very dirty! Do not be fooled of the nice photographs of the pool area, it was unusable.

Pros: Amazing property. Modern and very functional, Eden garden and 10 minutes by car from seaside. Very nicely situated in the Olive Trees path. We had dinner in the Masseria, great tuna steak and delicious ravioli with pescatrice.
9,6 Excellent
Pros: Beautiful location with lovely spacious rooms which were really clean and felt more like your own chalet with lovely views of the landscape and sea in the distance. The staff are so kind and helpful , Mary in reception was so helpful with anything you needed to know locally ,good with speaking English and also listening to me trying to speak Italian ! All staff were lovely from the drivers , chambermaids and chef. Even though its a bit far out from the station , they arrange to drop you off or pick you up. I would definitely recommend and would love to stay there again. Grazie !!
Cons: A minor thing - just be aware that the pool isn't open all year round so check opening dates. It is beautiful & once it was open we really enjoyed it & you also get pool towels
7,5 Good
Pros: I liked the layout of the property and the polite staff on arrival. I was impressed with the dinner at the hotel and the food was actually very good. The room was clean and a basic mini bar stocked.
Cons: The breakfast/dinner room was not very welcoming, and could have been so much better. Ambient lighting goes so far. The hotel also booked me a taxi which I had to use as there was no other car hire and this cost 90 euros each way to Bari airport, so be prepared for this. The hotel room itself was very basic, but clean at least.
6,7 Good
Pros: The gardens are really beautiful and very well maintained . The swimming pool also is very nice .
Cons: In our reservation was clear that we were a couple with a teenager and when we arrived at the hotel already very late in the evening the extra bed was not prepared . The breakfast is ok but could be better for the price we pay, very few options of breads and at 10am they really remove everything and the staff was not very friendly. It is a pity they do not offer a breakfast outside in a terrace. I would be more pleasant. The shower at the room could be better.

Pros: We were here to compete in the 9th World Open Inline Championships in Fasano, which we won!We arrived late due to the plane being delayed but were met and were able to follow the owners to the villa, which we were very grateful for.We enjoyed the peace and quiet, the breakfasts, the friendliness of the staff, and how close it was to the town.
Cons: Maybe more directions ie which exit to take from the motorway as the satnav did not have a clue.

Pros: The location is beautiful, you can feel connected to the nature with all the olive trees around and with the view to the hills from tbe swimming pool. The room was clean and comfortable with nice colonial style. Safe and free parking on location. The breakfast in the garden terrace had a great atmosphere and the breakfast lady was very nice to us.
Cons: The only thing that i could mention was the quality of the tap water. It was not indicated that it was not drinking water, but i dont think it would have been ok to drink it, as it had a very bad smell and taste.
