Cons: Did not like the breakfast in the room . It was a little disappointing.. The water in the tea pot was not hot enough ( better if it was in a thermos because the air was cold this time of year) .And the pepper shaker was disgusting, When the pepper did not come out I opened the shaker and the pepper was like dirty wet mud inside.

Cons: I have asked for 1 big bed for me and my wife, but they only have two single beds are set next to each other covered with king-size bed cover to hold the two bed together, but the two bed kept moving apart from each other causing me to fell on the floor between the beds, I have asked for other solutions but they don't have, so bedding was so bad for us.

Pros: The hotel was nice, tidy and well built, and the receptionists were kind. The breakfast was very nice with a lot of different offerings. The location was also very good, and one could easily reach the city centre by foot, but public transport was also very close to the hotel.
Cons: A huge minus for us was the view from our room. One of the main reasons we picked this particular hotel over other more affordable hotels, was that they advertised that the rooms in the category we booked would have city view, which we prioritised, since we stayed over New Year's. We did not expect a panorama view, but just a degree of urban scenery. But we basically had no view whatsoever from our hotel room, as the room was facing a rather narrow inner court yard. We could catch a small glimpse of the sky, if we put our heads up against the window, which naturally did not meet our rather modest expectations. We subsequently asked in the reception, how this could be, and the answer was, that the hotel was fully booked and all rooms had been occupied. Another, but much smaller minus was, that we weren't told that the breakfast on our last day ended earlier than on the previous two days - on the 31st, it ended at 12:00, on the 1st, it ended at 14:00, and on the 2nd, which we weren't told (by mistake, surely), it ended at 11:00. This, of course, would normally not be a problem at all, but since we thought we would take advantage of the very long breakfast opening hours and pack our luggage before breakfast instead of after (we had gotten the impression, that the normal of the hotel was breakfast till 12:00), we arrived for breakfast around 11 and just managed to grab some food, while the staff was clearing the buffet. We also saw other guests, who we as surprised as us.

The bathroom with a double sink and the scales beneath, a mirror on the whole door, the magnifying make up mirror and floor heating at will. Umbrella and shoe spoon in the room. In the evening, the live piano in the lobby, sitting by the log fire- authentic wood, nonetheless. The displays of navigation utensils in the halls, consistent with the Atlantic theme of the hotel.

Pros: I have celiacs disease, they were really good at catering for this, a huge basket of gluten free breads, cereals and cakes turned up at breakfast and I was walked through which items on the buffet were gluten free, which included the nuremberger sausages.
Add to this that the service is truly 5*, not always the case in 5* hotels, the high ceilings in the rooms, the pool, gym, sauna, gf steak tartare for supper, the view of the Alster at breakfast, it really can't be improved on.
AND most importantly all of the staff, without exception, were friendly, helpful and went the extra distance to make sure you really felt looked after.

Cons: The WiFi was slowly and to pay a symbolic price of 3 euro per day for fast WiFi does not fit to 2020 anymore, but this seems to be a general problem in Germany, take a look at 5 star hotels in China, WiFi is fast and for free.

Cons: Funnily enough, our room- 445- included a pillar in a rather central position, something we never encountered in lower rated hotels... There was no panick button in the bathroom. Only two elevators for a hotel of this size, resulting in healthy walks to/from our room.

Cons: Hotel needs a lot of work and updating . Lobby carpeting very shabby and dirty. Rooms were not at all attractive and had a musty odor. I would give this hotel 3 Stars definitely this is not a 5 Star hotel.

Pros: The Hotel is located close to the Hamburg main train station. The city center is in walking distance. The area, St. Georg, is very multicultural so that there are many convenient stores and different kind of restaurants open until late. The hotel service was very good and the staff polite. We arrived quite early so that we usually had to wait for check-in. But the receptionist just had a quick look at the computer and allocated us our room without additional fees. Furthermore, the beds are absolutely comfortable!

Pros: The Hotel is located close to the Hamburg main train station. The city center is in walking distance. The area, St. Georg, is very multicultural so that there are many convenient stores and different kind of restaurants open until late. The hotel service was very good and the staff polite. We arrived quite early so that we usually had to wait for check-in. But the receptionist just had a quick look at the computer and allocated us our room without additional fees. Furthermore, the beds are absolutely comfortable!
Cons: We were very happy with our stay at the Arcotel Rubin so that there is nothing to be complained about.

Cons: The staff is not generally not as friendly as one would expect from a 5 star-hotel. At the check-out, the staff tried to charge us a minibar even though we did not consume anything. So, either they made a mistake or they tried to rip us off. Even it is not glorious, we hope that the former is the case. The television has only very few functionalities. You basically can only look at TV programs.

Cons: Expensive breakfast. The heating was switched off in the room when we arrived and we didn't realise until we arrived back in the room after being out in the cold for a number of hours. It took a while to get warm and then was too hot as its always difficult to regulated a heating system which you aren't familiar with. It would make sense to put the heating on at least at a low level in the middle of winter.

Cons: The hotel seems to be a fancy one, but the room was very poor. Also, during the night there was a lot of noise from something that we could not understand what it was. We complained on the next morning and the hotel said they would check, but on the next evening, the same noise happened again.

Cons: I reserved the single room and for 3 night i paid around 500 euro ,but the room was extremely extremely small,and there were only a small radiator which couldn’t warm up the room and the room was so cold and I couldn’t sleep at night because of this temperature, i asked them for extra blanket they said we cant give you extra blanket. If you want to enjoy your stay dont go to this hotel

Cons: Limited number of servers at breakfast so most mornings getting coffee at the table was slow. Taxis needs to be ordered at the front desk. One morning I had to wait 30 minutes for taxi to arrive. This was not the hotel's fault but just more a caution that taxis do not circulate this area (unlike at other hotels I have stayed at where taxis are waiting outside). Limited English TV channels.

Cons: My room was very very cold and unfortunately, I couldn't setup the temperature with air conditioning. In addition to this, they left the window open one day after cleaning the room and when I arrived it was freezing inside. This was unacceptable for a hotel and I asked for a heater. Luckily I could sleep well the second night.

Cons: I have stayed at the Radisson a few times over the past year for business. My main observation is that the service/quality has dropped. Check in was efficient and I was given a room on the same floor as the business class rooms and for a standard room it had a very nice view (20th floor). I recently became a VIP member of a frequent traveler program and it was only after I checked in and received an email from them asking if I had been informed about my VIP benefits that I realized that maybe my room assignment was partly because of that benefit and they had forgotten to inform me. However upon check out when I asked if my food and beverage had been discounted as per my membership benefits, I had to provide the email as “evidence”. On top of that the discount only applied to meals at the restaurant but not breakfast or minibar drinks. Other things to note: value for money is not as good. For example, many other hotels now have nespresso coffee machines as standard in their rooms. Here it only is available if you book a business class room. Rooms are clean but the bathrooms need upgrading. Breakfast used to have an egg station but that has now gone, although there is a good selection for breakfast items, it is expensive compared to other hotels in money vs selection. Finally there is a significant amount of construction around the area. During my previous stays, taxis were waiting outside the hotel during the mornings but now it seems like they only come through the area for drop off at the train station. I had to wait 20 minutes one morning to get a taxi from there.

Cons: The hotel was not a five star hotel by any standards, everything was old and worn and the airconditioning in the room was noisy, so noisy you could not sleep. The spa was not in use, and nothing was offered in stead. The furniture was from 1980 by the look of it. The coffee machine in the room was difficult to use.

Cons: Breakfast was pricy, so we decided to eat in nearby cafeterias. Also, there were no amenities in the room to make tea / coffee. The room was really small. Although there was enough space for two persons, there were no cupboards or wardrobes to keep one's clothes (save for a single hanger rail). So, if you plan to stay a bit longer and if you carry some luggage, it is inconvenient to keep your stuff in the travel bag on the floor.

Cons: - no kitchen - stuff on reception Guys on reception are totally unfriendly On my arriving After me came another girl, who tried to open central door with e-key But she couldn't - door is really heavy to open Guy and girl on reception became angry on it They had no good reaction on this case even I were near and heard them, they don't care Better to fix the door then shouting to guest : ring the bell and pull heavy And Later I decided to prolong room That night I send message to hostel and asked to save my bed for me ( I didn't want to move my stuff ) I made it before check out, and checked the availability of rooms And my type of room was free On check out morning I came to pay Explained what I want But another guy on check-out said I should change the room ... For one night ... I should change the room It was a principe , he didn't understand what I asked, I repeated, he again didn't understand, became angry and said just - u should change room But it was only one reason that I wanted to stay - to not move my things So anyway he wanted I move, so I moved to another hostel ... Very nice service I realize 10eu is nothing for such big hostel But I have gloomy memories from such host of stuff , so I wanna leave it here as a negative review

Cons: The bathroom and shower in room are too small. Not enough space to turn around for a small person of 125 lbs and 5' 4" tall.

Pros: Everything's nearly perfect! Reasonable price and nice staff. Extremely near to the station. The room is big and clean. The bathroom inside is rather small but ok. The design of the washbasin is quite weird though. You can hardly wash your face cuz it's too low. Otherwise is great. Overall it's a cosy place to stay.

Pros: Just opposite of the central station and zob (bus station), the building of hostel can be seen easily The hostel provide enough public space for relaxing, eating, searching internet... etc
Cons: The mattress is a little bit high so that it makes the lower level of bunk bed quite hard to move as well The toilet and shower room are quite small, so can not provide enough space for brushing teeth, etc.

Pros: Perfect location, right next to the Hbf, shops and restaurants all around, the beds are really comfortable, cozy room and really peaceful, rooms are soundproof. Would definitely return.
Cons: The bathroom is really tiny, but it's a minor issue. If you're a big person maybe you wouldn't be able to change or move much in it.

Cons: Can not change German culture regarding air conditioning- but since there was not one in the room,the only way for fresh air was to open the windows.
However, it is on a major street, and near a set of train tracks (in use), so it got generally pretty loud at times.
Additionally, there was at least one night that persons were smoking on the sidewalk...
