Pros: I have celiacs disease, they were really good at catering for this, a huge basket of gluten free breads, cereals and cakes turned up at breakfast and I was walked through which items on the buffet were gluten free, which included the nuremberger sausages. Add to this that the service is truly 5*, not always the case in 5* hotels, the high ceilings in the rooms, the pool, gym, sauna, gf steak tartare for supper, the view of the Alster at breakfast, it really can't be improved on. AND most importantly all of the staff, without exception, were friendly, helpful and went the extra distance to make sure you really felt looked after.

Pros: Great location, friendly staff, hotel combines historical and modern. Close to many restaurants and shopping. Big armed Bus stops in front of hotel.
Cons: Food and beverage were very good but pricy however, typical of a 5 star hotel.

Cons: Hotel needs a lot of work and updating . Lobby carpeting very shabby and dirty. Rooms were not at all attractive and had a musty odor. I would give this hotel 3 Stars definitely this is not a 5 Star hotel.

Pros: Great location in a nice part of Hamburg. The staff was very professional and helpful in assisting with recommendations and making guests feel welcomed. Particularly Katherine at the front desk, who was very polite and taking time to discuss options.

Pros: The location was perfect for a very early morning flight. The staff was extremely friendly and helpful. I was concerned about hearing the planes at night, but I never heard a single jet engine. The rooms were very clean and comfortable. I would stay here again.

Pros: It is 150 meters from the airport. If you get to the airport by train and then S-Bahn, take the elevator from the S-Bahn level to the next level and you will be 100 meters from the hotel. There are two (2) elevators from the S-Bahn level so take the one CLOSER TO THE DIRECTION FROM WHICH THE S-BAHN CAME. Establishment was very clean.

Pros: Literal a 1 minute walk to the airport. Staff was extremely accommodating. Flight landed early and they let me take an available room. Bartender very friendly and nice to talk to. Bed comfortable and nice view of airport. Once again was impressed by all the staff.

Pros: Close to the office I was visiting. Reception staff very helpful. Reasonable breakfast buffet
Cons: Restaurant was closed for evening meals during my visit as there was construction around the hotel. Only bar meals available with very limited menu. Given the closure, I would have expected that they could have varied the bar menu to accommodate guests but that was not the case. Even room service was unavailable for a few days but again a limited menu. The location of the hotel is also in a very residential area with limited resources nearby. I have stayed at other hotels closer to the city center which are better located. Room is basic with limited amenities (kettle and tea/coffee, 1 free bottled water but then not replaced despite staying almost 2 weeks, limited bathroom supplies). There was a bedside chocolate the first night but then never replaced. Not sure if that was intentional or whether housekeeping just didn't bother. Staff at breakfast were not very attentive to customers. Sometimes took a while to find someone to ask for coffee. Overall if you are looking for a no frills, basic hotel and will spend limited time there, then the Dorint is ok.
