8,3 Excellent
Pros: All was quite good. No real complaints.
Cons: They charged my card without giving me any opportunity to decide how I would like to pay (I got extra 25eur charge for currency change) and they were not too understanding and gentle in communication. But to be honest the reservation was pre-paid and they had the right to do that. Just not very nice about it. The coffee maker in the room is a cattle and some plastic cups - do not expect too much.
9,6 Excellent
Pros: There was a very noisy concert on the piazza outside the front door until 2.00am for which we were not notified until check in. Disappointing customer care.
9,2 Excellent
Pros: Fantastic breakfast, comfortable beds, kindness of the staff, cheap street parking pass for just €3/day, very dog friendly, Annex building is in the pedestrian zone in the middle of Ferrara just a few minutes walk of the main building, bicycles and scooters for rent. Tea cattle in the room.
Cons: The air-condition is a little bit noisy, but it was neither hot or cold, hence we just turned it off. I humbly do not understand why having a nice ceramic tea pot but offering plastic cups for hot tea in the room. It's a pity for the taste and the environment.
10,0 Excellent
Pros: Great location, friendly staff, nice room

We were made to feel very welcome & given excellent restaurant recommendations. The room has many small touches that make it comfortable, a real home away from home. Breakfast is generous & delicious. Grazie Mille to Hotel de Prati.

9,2 Excellent
Pros: a nice building, close to the city center, aircondition, bikes for free
9,2 Excellent
Pros: Location
Cons: A boiler or small pot to make tea would be usefull
9,2 Excellent
Pros: What is not to like? Hostess is very friendly and takes time during check in to give you useful information about Ferrara and supermarkets close to the location. She also Location is in a quiet area, but still in walking distance (maybe 5 minutes) from the centre. Bus stop from/to the train station is a 5-10 minutes walk. Apartment was spacious, with comfortable couch and good shower. Small kitchen with microwave if you want to snack or heat some water (there is no tea kettle). The apartment is cleaned every day and that shows, it was all very neat. Breakfast was very extensive, lots of choice. The croissants and bread are fresh, even a bit warm if you are really enough. Aside from that there was also yoghurt, cereal and juice. There was always a little extra (like cake or muffins) which would change each day. The hostess insists on making the first cup of coffee (or cappuccino, or espresso) for you. Very good place to stay, it feels like home away from home.
Cons: Bed was just a bit too hard for my taste, but still comfortable enough. A tea kettle for boiling water would be nice.
10,0 Excellent
Pros: The name! The peaceful location. The peace and quiet. The little kitchen was useful. The cycles in the yard. Cycling is the principal mode of transport in Ferrara.
Cons: The fact that the nearby Palazzo Schifanoia is now closed for restoration. No street view from our room.

Pros: The owners were lovely! Very hard working and very accommodating! And the property is away from the town, but close enough to get to within 20 minutes. Our room was spacious, spotless and comfortable. Breakfast offered coffee, tea, breads, yogurt, local cakes, cereals, juice, fruit and salami. Nice way to start the day! A very popular restaurant in the area, La Stella, was a 3 minute drive and we ate there all 3 nights. Great experience! It was delicious and reasonable. Try the fish soup! Seemed like many locals are there because after the second night, I began to recognize some faces:-)
Cons: The Wifi was spotty at the property.
10,0 Excellent
Pros: The quiet location. The fact your cloths which you leave on a chair are hang back up in the closet. The short distance to the exhibition centre and town centre. Not more than 15 minutes by car to both.
Cons: Nothing.
9,2 Excellent
Pros: The room and bed are generous in size. The people are friendly although my ignorance of Italian made it difficult.
Cons: The only minor issue was that the wifi did not work in our room.
9,6 Excellent
Pros: Wonderful place . Nice quite family run place . There is great restaurant La Stalla near the property , with very best pizza I have ever eaten. Mast try :-)

Pros: Large room, very clean, with coffee and tea at discretion. Nice bathroom, large and light. Friendly staff, very communicative.
Cons: It was a lit of pressure to get to the accommodation before 18:45 and it really stressed out us. The breakfast is only a coffee and a sweet croissant.
9,2 Excellent
Pros: Very central location but quiet. We were given a voucher for breakfast with the choice of three different places. The one we went to provided us with a coffee and cake. The bathroom was large with loads of hot wate. The beds were comfortable with good linen.

Pros: We stayed for just one night on the way back from Bressanone to Rome and as soon as we saw the place, wished we were staying for longer. Our room was huge with very comfortable beds and everything we needed. The pool was a lovely unexpected bonus, a good size and like everything else, super clean. Paulo was the perfect host and his enthusiasm for and knowledge of the property and his family’s home was great. Although we didn’t have time to really make us of the grounds we are really looking forward to returning and spending a little more time exploring Ferrara. So pleased we found this gem!

Pros: The location of the Hotel Corte Estense is excellent, since it's located near the historical town center. The staff was excellent, very helpful and supportive. I also like the breakfast, rich enough for business travellers. I would rebook again,
Cons: Nothing. The only minor issue could be for people travelling by car, since the hotel is located in ZTL area. This is an area where provate car traffic is limited. This wasn't a problem in my case, however I understood they ahave solutions for it.

Pros: friendly reception staff, very calm environment in the heart of the city, clean and well equipped small room

Pros: Good location with parking and considerate staff. Good WIFI. Nice breakfast. Very interesting city with a lot of history. Staff put a good face about the lack of air conditioning or heat and brought us a fan.
Cons: Room was hot with AC shut off because of 'government regs'. Check with hotel before booking to insure A/C and heat are available.
9,6 Excellent
Pros: Property was nice very large room. Free parking. Very friendly staff.
Cons: Not much around the hotel more of a residential area.
5,8 Okay
Pros: The lighting system was faulty. The room is dark due to no central light. The rest room is too compact with no room to move around.
9,6 Excellent
Pros: It had a free ride every 30 minutes to cuty center, and a great staff
10,0 Excellent
Pros: We got stranded in Ferrara late at night because of train delays (the city is well worth a visit anyway) and got a suite at a very reduced price. The location was very convenient (15 minutes walk from the train station, 10 minutes from the beautiful historical city centre). The receptionist was exceptionally pleasant and helpful in trying to find us find a place eat (the hotel kitchen and most restaurants were closed by then). The room was clean, definitely spacious and yet very cosy and quaint. The continental breakfast selection was excellent for both choice and quality. Our only regret is not having enjoyed a relaxing bath in the bathroom’s Jacuzzi.
Cons: Soundproofing could be improved. No personal complaint but the occasional loud vehicles may disturb light sleepers.
8,0 Excellent
Pros: The staff was amazing, as was the breakfast and bed comfort.
Cons: The location wasn't great, but some road noise.

Pros: Everything was perfect, the room was very clean, comfortable and well equipped. We can make coffe/ tea. We very appreciated the surprise cake made by our host, which was waiting for us at the arrival. It was very tasty. Moreover we got a map of Ferrara and parked our car almost in front of the building. The wifi was strong. I can highly recommend this place for everybody! :) Ruggero and Emanuela thank you for your kindness, the cake and for everything! :)
Cons: Nothing, we just regret that we could not stay longer than one night.
10,0 Excellent
Pros: This is a wonderful hotel! We were graciously accommodated with a later than normal arrival to Piazza Nova where we were met by the owner's father who provided a nice welcome. The room was spacious with a full kitchen - including the most delicious homemade chocolate cake we've ever had. We took advantage of the free bicycles and found that to be a fun way to see Ferrara. The location is most ideal; you are just steps from the incredible park and a free parking lot is just a block away. There is also a neat birreria a few doors down. I would stay here again and highly recommend it for all travelers!
Cons: No complaints!

Cons: All a little too shabby for the price. Not very well organised either, when we wanted to leave our bags at check-out a random cleaning lady who didn't speak any english finally just left us some keycard and told us to leave them in the hallway.

9,6 Excellent
Pros: Fantastic little BnB. The hosts are warm and welcoming, and they put on a wonderful breakfast in the common eating area. Rooms are lovely, well appointed, and clean. The location is superb. A block from the castle and the main piazza, surrounded by great restaurants. If you visit during the Buskers Festival, this location is superb. Buskers literally outside the front door, and yet the rooms are very quiet. Highly recommended.
Cons: Wi Fi is free and available, but didn't work well in my room - possibly due to the thick stone walls. It worked perfectly well in the common areas though. There is a street market outside the front door on Sundays, so a taxi may not be able to drop you off at the front door.
7,1 Good
Pros: I was lucky - there was a local car show. Everything else is disappointment.
Cons: Do not bother to visit Ferrara. Nothing really interesting there. No beauty - rather drab and boring place. I was just lucky to see a special event, otherwise would get off in an hour. Advertised parking is a joke - it just a public parking lot, not very close. And pitiful directions as to how to get in there and out!

Pros: This place is a delight. It is well-located. The amenities and accommodations exceeded our expectations. The staff, particularly Graciela, went above and beyond. She served us wonderful breakfasts each morning which included American style coffee. Local restaurants are at the footsteps of this B&B which is so helpful to weary travelers. It is an excellent value for the money.
