Travelers arriving from within the EU or a Schengen Member State may enter Finland if they are traveling for work or study in Finland. Unvaccinated visitors from South Africa must present a negative RT-PCR (NAAT) test taken 72 hours before departing to Finland.
Fully vaccinated visitors with approved vaccination certificates do not need to present a negative COVID-19 test.
Fully vaccinated travelers and those who recovered from Covid-19 are exempted by presenting their approved vaccination and recovery certificates.
Travelers arriving from countries highly affected by the virus at the time of travel, are subject to take a COVID-19 test upon their arrival.
Visitors from South Africa are not required to quarantine after entering Finland.
A 14-day period of self-isolation is recommended for travelers arriving in Finland from high-incidence countries.
Travellers returning from Finland must present a negative RT-PCR (NAAT) test taken 72 hours before departure to South Africa.
