Booked the vehicle online Paid for vehicle rental and insurance at that time. When got to Thrifty was told that insurance didnt cover driving. Had to buy more insurance which I could have purchased cheaper at home. For what we paid there were a lot of other options available . They tried to give me an electric car since I picked a surprise vehicle. I thought the size would be a surprise. Wanted to charge me more for gas car. I refused. Car given to me was dirty and damaged inside. Didn't notice until.I left since I was in a hurry.Reviewed Mar 9 2024

I would like to see check in on line and eliminate the long wait lines at Orlando Airport. Take your confirmation across the street to the rental car parking lot and ck in with an attendant from dollar or thrifty. I was not told my rental would be an electric car. I was told by agent basically take it or upgrade to more expensive gasoline powered auto. Since it was late in the evening, I had no choice but to do that and spend s as almost $70 more than my original rental. The only vehicle we were able to rent was a Ram pick up truck. It was very difficult for me to get in and out of due to the fact that I’m handicapped and walk with a cane. The counter agent had a bad attitude also. Returning the vehicle st MCO was no easy task either. Staff there were very unorganized and there seemed to be a language barrier. Ultimately, my experience with Thrifty and/or Kayak was not a pleasant one. What made it more upsetting was the reason for the visit to Florida was to attend a family funeralReviewed Jan 9 2024

Staff behind the counter very friendly. Unfortunately not enough people to service the people waiting to get rental. On line for over 45 minutes. Then when I went to get my car had to wait again for a car. While I was waiting a supervisor came over to see why I was waiting. He told the employees to put me in a car any car, just to get me in my way!!!and was very nice,Reviewed Jan 8 2024
