Pros: We had an awesome stay at Radisson Blu. I surprised my best friend, she didn't know we were staying in the city for the night. A lot of planning went into our stay so it was great when the hotel staff were so accommodating and helpful. The beds were soooo comfortable, we had trouble getting up the next day. The lycee martini we had was also really good in the hotel lobby. I'll definately be back and will recommend the hotel to family and friends. Thank you!

Cons: Breakfast was the only disappointing part of my stay, it was the usual luke warm buffet and horrible coffee that is really not good enough. Also if it is advertised as staying open until 11am then it needs to have all of the food available. I got down to breakfast at 09:30am which seemed to be a popular time and most of the hot stuff was empty. The staff were great and very responsive to requests, but they needed to be that bit more proactive.

Cons: We used the hotel valet for our car, which was a reasonable cost of $65 a day. When we got the car back, however, we noticed that the radio station had been changed from our set local station to a Sydney station we never listen to.. just a bit funny and not very professional.

I heard a man in a suit being offered an upgrade even though he was staying fewer nights. Twice I had to request housekeeping to come as my room had not been cleaned by lunchtime even though the sign requesting my room be serviced was on my door. The spa massage I had was lovely.

The absolutely huge, extra large bath towels were a nice touch and the toiletries were a lot nicer than I expected. I made use of the smart TV and appreciated being able to enjoy 2 minibar items per day free of charge. King's Cross station is right around the corner as well as several bus stops. A 15 minute walk brings you to Hyde Park and from there you can explore the other popular tourist attractions. Front desk staff were friendly and attentive during check-in and check-out.

Pros: This a a fabulous hotel, we loved it! The reception staff were so friendly and helpful, they were able to give us a room straight away at 9am when we checked in. The room was spacious with modern stylish decor and the bathroom was very clean. My favourite things were the incredibly comfortable bed and the fabulous hairdryer! It was close to the city and within walking distance for us to get to Rushcutters Bay and Paddington. There was a great coffee roasters cafe across the road “Frankie’s” that served not only good coffee but amazing Portuguese tarts!! We will stay there again next time we travel to Sydney!

Cons: I have stayed many times in the past, and always loved it. It had been a while, and everything was good. I just felt that the one the phone and front desk the staff didn't listen, I had been very sick and called the emergency doctor, he said I had severe food poisoning. I still don't know where I got it, as various events and meals in the city. I could not touch my breakfast, they front desk just laugh, I said I got the wrong juice from what I ordered, and cant drink pineapple juice, again laugh. I would have expected some sort of consideration. I did try and call to cancel the breakfast but could not get through to room service. However the lovely lady that brought me ice and water, was great. Over all, an ok experience but some parts disappointing.

Cons: The fact that on your booking website it clearly states that there would be no booking fee when arriving at the property for check-in. I also confirmed this via the phone. When we arrived at the hotel the staff and manager could not care any less at the fact that by putting down a deposit severely put us out and as I stated above the site specifically said that there was not a fee or holding deposit. The staff refused to check us in until we paid the deposit which then severely put us out despite the fact it was our anniversary and the first time in a long time we have been able to afford to stay somewhere. I was extremely left down at the customer service and lack of empathy down by the staff. I even offered to give them my licence and/or MasterCard that I used to put down as a hold until we checked out. The Hilton Hotel and booking.com need to sort out the information they are sharing to customers booking through them as it is a complete misrepresentation and misleading to put up false statements and act on behalf of the Hotel itself. We will not ever stay at The Hilton again and I will not be recommending it to anyone I know. Regards,

We were seeing a Matinée at the Opera House and we were able to check in early which made our afternoon/night much more enjoyable. We had a city-view room but it had a glimpse of the water. Special high floor request was met and we felt really special with being given a bottle of bubbles for our room although we are not drinkers but thank you anyways :) Breakfast was quite nice. The hashbrowns were nice and crunchy and the croissant was delicious, buttery and flakey. The nectarine juice was a nice juice to finish off the breakfast meal. Housekeeping made our bed and cleaned our room so nicely, please pass on our thanks. Pool and gym facilities were good.

The room was clean and modern. Service was great. The location is hard to beat. Right in the middle of tons of coffee shops, restaurants, and shopping. Darling Harbor and Chinatown are just 4-5 minute walk. Town Hall subway station is just around the corner. Two grocery stores are very close by if you want to stock up on things.
The gym is great and quite extensive. There is a nice pool and sauna, although the hot tub was only like warm temperature.
Overall me and my two boys ( 9 and 11) had a great time fornthe week we were in Sydney.

Pros: Excellent staff with one exception in lounge/bar on 36th floor. Waiter addressed me as "Boss", failed to give menu, did not mention kitchen was closed until I ordered and did not get drinks in timely manor. His poor performance stands in stark contrast to the rest of the staff. Good breakfast buffet and health club.

Pros: Location. It is in the middle of CBD so it is close to places like China town, Darling Harbour and Circular Quay. Also good if you pay extra for Harbourview and booked in during Saturday as you will get to see the 8:30pm fireworks at Darling Harbour. A lot of bars near by. Star Casino is also walking distance.

Pros: Fantastic location, spotlessly clean room, great in room facilities and very helpful, cheerful staff. If you want to explore Darling Harbour and Sydney CBD they are right on your doorstep and iconic sights such as the Harbour Bridge and Opera House are a very short (and cheap) ferry ride away.

Cons: Expensive which is understandable for its location. They hold a 300$ for my one night stay which is more expensive than the room. I don't know when are they going to give it back because I was not informed they will hold this money in the first place. Confusing and scary. I'm poor now.

Cons: Room was featureless, tired, bit grubby, no complimentary water for 420 bucks! I thought it would be leaps and bounds better than shangri la and four seasons where I stay regularly for work. If anything it was worse. Four seasons rooms have just been refurbed and much nice with better views... and cheaper

Cons: The room we were given was so small for a 4 /5 star hotel . I have stayed in nearly alll the sydney 5 star hotels over the last year and have never been put in a tiny room. It would of been fine if I was made aware of it, and no doubt it is in the fine print which I did not read. Sorry to have a whinge.
