Very late guest services, sometimes no one comes despite our continued calls
Solid Hyatt experience
Good buffet, all the amenities expected from Hyatt. Central and fast access to the Harbour.
Clean, good facilities.
Small rooms, very noisy, guest doors slamming starting @ 5am, , music from function centre floors below. A Hyatt by name only.
The location
No pool
Good location, views and comfortable beds. Unpleasant smell
The views are excellent looking across to Darling Harbour and the location is very convenient. Lobby areas look brand new but the rooms are a bit old looking.
The room smelled a bit like a chemical air freshener and the housekeeping service missed a few things.
Needs renovation
The beds need replacement. Two in my room had collapsed. The hotel engineer saidthe box spring was broken, so they offered to put us in another room. I checked and sure enough the mattress was broken there too. They moved us to a beautiful suite, but the floor in the room was too slippery for the wheels and the bed would slide out from the wall while resting, and slide away when standing. The hotel admitted that it knew it had the same problem in another room and ultimately they had to remove the frame to keep it stationary. They need to be more diligent in room inspection.
Would definitely stay here again.
Great wifi, attentive concierge, great staff all around.
Nothing negative to say, really.
Convenient location, clean, modern
There was a significant construction project blocking the front entrance and the street in front of the hotel during our stay.
Bland
Staff very helpful
No pool. No bath. Found an old shoe under the bed. Not so clean.
Free upgrade at check in to a room with a harbor view
None
A rare, centrally located gem
Centrally located, spectacular water view, balcony for fresh air which is so rare for hotels these days.
The poor positioning of the shower head and shelf must be a mistake. You need to stand flush against the wall to have a shower.
