Pros: The hotel was walking distance to Chinatown, Darling Harbour, & Circular Quay...

Pros: I loved the great location across from Market City with all of it's dining and shopping options. From t-shirt and fresh fruit and vegetable vendor kiosks in the basement to the Food Court and sit-down restaurants upstairs and everything else in between - even a supermarket!
The location is also excellent for its access to public transportation and proximity to the CBD while being very quiet.

Pros: Close to Central, China Town and Darling Harbour. Comfortable, clean and a big comfy bed. We requested feather pillows and doors and they were supplied, happy about that because we loathe nasty micro fibres that are everywhere.

Pros: It is a nice hotel and location is very convenient. Close to Central Station and China Town with lots restaurants around it. We went there for the concert held in Sydney entertainment centre which is very close to this hotel as well. Recommend for city trip. Fair value for the price i paid but it is not a 4 and half stars hotel.

Pros: All other hotels in the area had a 3 night minimum for New Years Eve and Citigate only had 2 nights which fit our travelling schedule. It was close to the CBD and walking distance to Darling Harbour and just a bit further to Circular Quay. The monorail station is at the bottom of the street. We stayed in a King Harbour Open Plan Suite which did not have harbour views but you could still see Darling Harbour attractions and it didn't face into the back of another hotel so the view was good. The food in the hotel bistro was very good value and wide menu choice, the staff were very helpful. The pool is not overly large but adequate with a great spa and has comfortable lounge chairs, the bar was not open on the pool deck whilst we were there.

Pros: Vibe hotel is a centrally-located, efficient (if not luxurious) hotel in Sydney's CBD. The location is great, just a block or so from Museum station and a couple blocks from Central, so you can take the train or walk basically everywhere.
Rim, at the front desk, was super friendly and handled my early check-in with grace and kindness, which was especially nice considering I'd just landed from a 15 hour flight. My room was spacious and well-appointed.
A major downside if you are traveling for business is that the wifi is TERRIBLE. Not exaggerating - at times it was like dialup speed, which is just completely unacceptable. Even after upgrading to the higher speed plan, the wifi was just too slow to be usable for typical business needs (file access, video/audio calls, etc.). I ended up having to spend time at cafes nearby to get my work done.

Pros: Location was central and near many great restaurants. The world square shopping center was less than a 5 min walk away. Only a 10 min drive to Darling Harbour. Useful amenities, such as mini fridge, kettle, Iron/board, and safe. Staff was friendly. Rooftop pool looked very nice even though we only saw a glimpse. Tv had foxtel and other options for movies/entertainment. They also offer a breakfast buffet, but was not included with booking.
