Cons: It is on the North Side of Sydney Harbour, this isn’t an issue, but would have been nice to know, there are Ferries that run regularly (for a reasonable fee) and provide a wonderful view of the Harbour every time you cross the Harbour.

Pros: We stayed in the Garden Room which was excellent. Our own bathroom, tea making facility plus fridge and microwave. TV with DVD player. Also lots of little extras thoughtfully provided by our excellent hosts, Chris and Helen. Lovely breakfast too. Parking was in the very nearby The Avenue which was convenient and safe. Woolwich Ferry Wharf is 10mins drive away. Ferry into Circular Quay is a very civilised way to get to the main Sydney attractions..The Harbour Bridge and The Opera House. We had a great stay. Thank you!

Cons: location hard to find not much parking very steep driveway had to backout then half way down for a large vehicle had to turn towards a garage door with the help of the owner (tried twice) turn the vehicle to go down the steepest part of the driveway onto a busy road.When I first came up the first part of the driveway (at night) had to use 4 wheel drive to getup. Only had one choice of pillows, too hard. Lucky I had my own. Should have a better range of pillows.

Cons: This is NOT a hotel. It's someone's room to an apartment. The name of the place is deceptive. The owner was rude when I called. I had to also help an elderly couple into their room as it's so hard to get into. It's essentially someone's apartment and the owner of this apartment does not like to be bothered. Very dull lifeless experience and the wifi was awful.

The kitchen was clean (because everyone washed up after themselves and there was a supervisor about to assist with enqiries for first time guests). The location is great (if you stand on tippy toes you can see the harbour bridge from out the front). Access to public transport was v good with a bus stop out the front and a train station a 15 min walk down the road. We had a v late check-in which went like clockwork thanks to previous instructions from the B&B

Cons: I didn't like anything about my original room but l had arranged to stay longer but not in the original room allotted to me,so l made a comment of my dissatisfaction and l was granted another room that was absolutely excellent and the staff attended to every detail.

Pros: I think breakfast was prepared with the thinking that all of the guests will be getting a buffet which is good. Having to help yourself on bacon, eggs and bread is satisfying. At the same time, having to help yourself makes a lot of sense for a bed & breakfast setting.

Cons: We made reservation for the loft with private bathroom. But it wasn't a loft, it were two seperate rooms and a bathroom on the top floor. The bathroom was accessible to anyone who walked up the stairs. No privacy getting in or out off the bathroom. There were other peoples hair on the walls of the bathroom. Both bedrooms needed to be locked seperately and are only accessible from the hallway. Balcony is not worth mentioning. Too narrow to sit comfortably. Breakfast time is limited. So is the breakfast room and the choise of food. Quality is really bad. Bed is the worst I have slept in for years and everything is worn down. It is in urgent need of some TLC!

Cons: First of all, I'm a coffee guy. If the coffee is not prepared well then the whole thing just goes down the drain. I believe the drip coffee needs improvement specifically the ground beans that was actually added into it, arabica would be best. Next, having clean drinkable water is something that needs to be improved as well. When I tried to serve myself water, it's just almost empty so I have to tilt the jar for the water to drip down my glass. Another thing that needs improvement is to have a simple instruction on how to use the toast machine. I got a burned toast all the time since I didn't know how to completely use it. The ham which was served like it was pulled off of the fridge and dumped on the cooking machine was not as appealing as well. Finally scrambled eggs are just over done without any flavour on it. I believe all of these items can improve the "Breakfast" experience.
