The hotel is very convenient to places
The hotel is really outdated and definitely either needs a price reduction or upgrade. Definitely not worth the price
Loved the setting, the rooms, the cleanliness. Staff were amazing nothing was too much trouble.
Stayed two nights, it was $1098 before vallet parking and normal parking for yourself is $45 instead of $65 so no free complementary parking with your already expensive accommodation.
Staff at reception and concierge were friendly and professional, and I am very grateful for the complimentary plate of dessert petites fours.
Dear Jeroen There were a few aspects of disappointment about my stay. My stay at your hotel was for a special purpose - to treat my 11 year old daughter to a memorable holiday experience. As a single Dad, I struggle to balance her care with my work and I could only manage to take one day off work during her school holidays. My plan was to treat her to a fancy hotel stay on the doorstep of Darling Harbour, with room service for dinner followed by a lovely buffet breakfast the following morning. However we encountered a few disappointments soon after with our dinner. My daughter ordered a kids cheeseburger, but we were surprised when it arrived to see it was more of a ‘slider’ than a small typical burger. Her dinner arrived without tomato sauce and without a bottle of water, both inclusive components on the menu. There were aspects about the room that degraded my experience of a nice hotel. Of course I didn’t communicate this to my young daughter, but I don’t believe the room was up to standard. The ceiling inspection hatch above the wardrobe had obviously been accessed and was entirely coated with white dust. There were a number of paint chips, scratches and dirty marks on the walls. There was a tile in the bathroom with three drill holes that had been poorly filled, another tile nearby that was chipped, and a number of tile grout smears that hadn’t been cleaned off the tiles. The grout in the shower looked mouldy, and the shower floor tiles looked and felt dirty. I must also advise my disappointment with the quoted price when booking the city view twin room, 1024. I was initially quoted $195, which then ironically jumped in price when I changed the search criteria to include ‘free’ breakfast. Our stay at your hotel sadly fell short of my expectations of a nice hotel.
Location was good and breakfast was great!
I didn't like the fact that booking.com charged me around $340.00 per night whereas my friend staying in the same hotel paid only $220.00
