First we were greeted by a helpful concierge. He was taking our luggage. Than the hotel offered one free breakfast for a late check in. Fantastic. Never ever I stayed in a hotel such quiet. Very comfortable. They even took our luggage to the room.
Good location easy access to airport , city...
Service was mediocre at best
The most polite customer service I’ve ever received
Nothing it was perfect
Service was impeccable
Heritage building in keeping with the era the building originated from- extremely well done
Primus Hotel Sydney sits just half a mile from Darling Harbour and is a quick walk to the famous Capitol Theatre. Ideal for those on business trips to this Australian city for its location just minutes from the CBD (Central Business District), it is also ideal for holiday travelers. Sites like Museum Station, Sydney Town Hall, Citigroup Centre, The Galeries, Doltone House - Hyde Park, World Square Shopping Centre, Queen Victoria Building, the Australian National Maritime Museum, the Royal Botanic Gardens, and Circular Quay are all within a mile of the grounds. Kingsford Smith Airport is less than five miles from the hotel, too.
The hotel is described as a remarkable example of inter-war years’ architecture and it has been fully restored to its 1930s, Art Deco beauty. It has truly impressive amenities that include the gorgeous rooftop pool that is also home to Level Seven a restaurant and bar serving unique cocktails and shareable platters. There is concierge, parking (for a fee), a fitness center, business services, and meeting spaces, a trendy lobby bar and the hotel’s signature in-house eatery The Wilmot, noted for its amazing menu.
The 172 rooms and suites in the hotel have been designed with the historic looks of the entire property in mind and are a blend of modern convenience and old-school charm and comfort. There are seven types of accommodations from which to choose, but all will have designer décor and furniture, signature Appelles toiletries, a large and private bathroom, minibar and hot beverage system, a work desk with ergonomic chair, chaise lounge, on-demand entertainment, and more.
Whether for business or leisure travel, the Primus Hotel Sydney is an ideal choice.
