Pros: There was not much on in this hotel, probably because of Coronavirus, but that should bot be a reason to neglect the breakfast service which was really bad. I was later in Uppsala Radisson Blu and they showed there how it can work, also in Corona times

Pros: I stayed here with my mother at the start of the Covid-19 closures in Europe & thankfully at the end of our holiday. The hotel could not do enough for us, even a room upgrade overlooking City Hall. Bar & restaurant staff were lovely. Actually felt part of the team they were so welcoming! Highly recommend the hotel & would stay again if I have the opportunity. Fantastic & easy location with access to everything

Pros: I chose this hotel because it had multiple restaurants and shuttle service to/from the hotel. One of the restaurants was no longer operating (out of business) and the shuttle bus had a mechanical issue causing a 45 minute delay getting to the airport

Pros: We arrived very late and stayed only one night so we couldn't enjoy all of the facilities. But we got a nice check and did enjoy the breakfast buffet the next morning. The staff was very nice here. The bed was super comfy and the view with a sunny bright view over the lake was awesome in the morning. The lady from the reception was very friendly and helped us with our luggage to stare it while we went to Stockholm city for some sightseeing.

Cons: Because of covid-19, there wasn't a breakfast buffet (and to our disappointment no breakfast menu for room service either). We called room service to ask about breakfast options - what we ordered didn't match what the staff said on the phone. Could've been a miscommunication or human error though.

Cons: The bathroom was badly arranged. It was a disabled-accessible room, which I hadn't expected, so it was annoying for that reason, but even if I were disabled, there was no surface within reach of the shower to put shampoo, soap, etc. while I was under it.

Pros: If you want peace of mind and an enjoyable stay in Stockholm and return home with nice memories, DO NOT STAY AT THIS HOTEL. There is no need to discuss what I liked and did not like because the hotel stole money from my card multiple times during our stay and refunded the amounts when I complained about it. But during the check-out process they blocked additional amounts and claimed it was the breakfast and it took me 15 minutes to explain the breakfast did not cost this much. when they finally relented, they returned the amount to me. But when I came back home. THEY CHARGED THE ENTIRE FEES OF MY STAY AGAIN FROM MY CARD, NOT BLOCKED, CHARGED!!! I issued a claim to my bank and going to cancel my card and issue a new one thanks to this awful hotel. If I could give it less than 2.5 but thats the lowest score you can give on booking.

Cons: The rooms design was simply awful, no taste at all, mismatching bedside tables, TV blocking the door, random doors in the middle of the room that lead to nowhere, etc. the hotel was very dark and the lighting was barely enough to see your way without hitting anything. the breakfast is limited and pancakes smelled and tasted alittle like bacon. but the location and cleanliness was fine. Although if you want to go back and forth to the reception and ask why did you withdraw this amount and have them try to con you that its a system error every couple of days. go ahead and book. otherwise choose a different hotel if you want your money to be safe and enjoy stockholm with a peace of mind.

Cons: Staff at reception were very nice at our arrival but we had different staff when we left that was quite confused about the booking and what was paid or not. Also the check out was at 12 and they call us already at 11:50 to check if we were leaving the rooms. The staff at the bar were quite dull and room service was a bit shambles, as we were out sightseeing and when we were back at 4pm our rooms were still undone.

Located on a major street in Stockholm, the Diplomat is a short walk from everything. I will definitely stay here again. I don't know what room another traveler got that was tiny -- but my room was huge.

Pros: excellent location. - right on the harbor and walking distance from the Vasa museum, the ferries and Gamla Stan (Old town) plus marvelous shopping nearby. it was very hot (no AC)and they set up a fan in the room which was a big help. Staff very helpful with maps, directions and taxis etc. everyone spoke perfect English.

Located on a major street in Stockholm, the Diplomat is a short walk from everything. I will definitely stay here again. I don't know what room another traveler got that was tiny -- but my room was huge.

And we got room with the perfect view to the church - hard to beat it! There is a small (but nice) gym in the property and also a sauna, which is free to use 24/7 - that was super-cool after long walks in winter. Ok not wanting to push the point I asked for a clean the next day. When they arrived approx 13.00 we were working from the room and were told we would have to leave until 16.00. We had to say no. Maybe I travel too much in Asia and the Middle East and this is Europe now, but for a not inexpensive hotel I would have liked at least one linen/towel change and top up of tea/coffee in four days.

Pros: Love the location one stone throw away to the Stockholm Central Station, close to the old town (Gnala Stan). The room also great (we stayed at win room with lake view) were great. The front desk staff were nice and helpful. We loved the ambience at rooftop bar, the bartender (Tobias) made us some great cocktails.

I would say every morning that no we already cleared this up, breakfast was included and they would look again and say "oh yes, you're right". then we we checked out they told us we had incurred fees for having breakfast every morning and we had to again show them that breakfast was included. We stayed for 4 nights. Also, the location is goo but not great. about a 10 minute drive from everything we wanted to do.

Pros: Well sized room with good views of Stockholm City Hall. Everything was within a reasonable walking distance of the hotel, which was also conveniently located to the central train station. Takeaway coffee cups were in the room as standard, helping to have a coffee on the go, maximising sightseeing time. A UK plug in the room would mean you didn't need an adapter plug if you forgot one. Staff were very friendly.

Cons: Staff not too friendly but direct. Loud construction noise in room from 10am until 430pm. Hotel is mid renovation. Calls to front desk was met with a cold... there nothing that I can do. There's always something you can do to make your guests less upset. Hotel should be upfront with information and knowledge about the construction. A business traveler who is out of the room during the day would be less upset than we would be. We weren't too upset because our child didn't wake up but if he did we may very well be as we are jet lagged and the child needed to sleep. But notice would have allowed some possibility of planning.
You may get an older room from the 80s. Carpets were dirty and worn in our room. The room decor color scheme did not age well.

Every fabric had stains (curtains, chairs) and this hairy monster on the bed called blanket looked incredibly dusty and unhygienic. The hotel could be so nice but the room concepts are just out of time and the general cleanliness needs to be improved (doors, dust on surfaces, walls!). Breakfast buffet was ok but little to no organic options. In times of Corona I would have wished for more hygienic solutions. Also, dishes and cutlery were not clean.

Cons: They stock me in a room that was a size of a small bed walls of the bed, the phone was not working, the coffee machine was not working and they did not have a business center or office nor a printer and the attitude of the staff was like Nah!. Overall, one of my worst hotel experiences.

I don't want to inform the reception which services i officially booked in advanced and signed during my stay.

Pros: Well designed public areas, which seem to be renovated quite recently. However the rooms are a little outdated, but still comfortable enough for a few-nights-stay. A late arrival at 01.00 am the next day has been no problem, also we were able to leave the luggage in a locked storage until we departed. The breakfast in the hotel is super nice, and the breakfast area is spacious. All in all, a nice hotel to stay for a trip to Stockholm. Location wise it is definitely recommended!

Cons: The rooms are a bit outdated, and a few things were broken, or not in a very good state anymore, i.e. the toilet seat was quite loose, and it made me feel a bit uncomfortable, as I was afraid to break something. The bed was quite small, I think about 140cm, if not smaller, which for two people might be a little too small and can get easily uncomfortable. I, personally, did not have the best nights sleep.

Cons: No kettle . No fridge. Window looked out onto inner roofed courtyard and could not be opened so room felt oppressive sometimes. Shower was good but temperamental - suddenly hot then cold - rarely the same. Wifi was good but frequently dropped. Rooms only cleaned every few days which I think is poor. I don't mind not changing the towels and bedsheets everyday to save the planet but basic cleaning for a city centre hotel should be everyday
