Pros: Frey’s is a small family run hotel tucked away in a quiet street which is very close to Central station and the center of Stockholm. My room was a single but it had plenty of space. Family Room was very spacious and comfortable with excellent beds and pillows and equipped with all essentials. In toiletries accessories were provided one time dental kit and shaving kit which means for me a lot. The staff was very hospitable and friendly. The breakfasts were amazing with changing of one hot dish everyday. Great selection of Belgium beers at restaurant.

Pros: This hotel exceeded our expectations. We usually stay at the Grand Hotel and have to say we actually preferred our stay here - modern, incredibly comfortable rooms with a fresh decor. I was impressed by the bath products - divine! The sheets were incredibly comfortable. I travel a lot and have to say that this is one of the nicest hotels I have stayed in for a while. The breakfast room was cozy and the ambience warm and welcoming. The staff was incredibly helpful and kind. I was travelling alone with kids and nanny and they made us all feel very welcome. A special thank you to the fantastic concierge who helped us plan our every move through the city - booking everything from boat tours to family friendly restaurants. A great stay and zero complaints!

The wait staff was terrific and brought us coffee and tea. They also had a wide selection of organic juices that were fabulous. We had an early am departure and the hotel staff prepared breakfast to go for us....so thoughtful of them! Do not miss this breakfast.

Cons: The room we got was barely adequate in terms of size. Apart from the few steps to get past the room door and the bathroom it was well nigh impossible to take more than two steps in any direction. There was no proper storage space. There was a strange copper tubing arrangement on the wall. There were hangers on it but we couldnt figure out how to hang anything of any length on it - and who wants the content of their wardrobe on permanent display? Otherwise the only item of furniture for clothing was what looked like a small ottoman. Stylish but not much practical use. It might have been OK for an overnight trip but we were booked in for three nights as part of a ten day trip - so we had packed clothing accordingly. The hotel has decided not to clean rooms for those staying for more than one night for “ecological reasons”. Uh-huh! Pull the other one! The accompanying reduction in overhead cost will be purely coincidental, I suppose. However, the room was clean and the bed comfortable and the bathroom was excellent.

The location of the Haymarket hotel is very central and convenient to the subway system, not a bad walk from the Arlanda Express train station, and very walkable in general. It's a very elegant hotel in a well-renovated historic building (former department store). I was quite pleased with my room (632) with a nice view of the rooftops, and it was very quiet. The elevators arrived promptly (always appreciated). The buffet breakfast had a lot of offerings (I didn't try the cook-to-order items) and I was happy with it and didn't have trouble getting seating. There are a variety of restaurants nearby. I didn't eat at the hotel restaurants for lunch or dinner. I loved the decor of my room, especially the pretty tiled bathroom, and as a Greta Garbo fan, the memorabilia associated with her at the hotel was delightful.

Pros: The location was great and the design of the hotel was spectacular.
Cons: Unfortunately, there were way to many people everywhere all the time. Breakfast was a nightmare. And I think it's partially because nobody tells all those people that there are other areas where breakfast can be eaten. Everybody is trying to get a place close to food because they think that's the only place for breakfast. The buffet should have been distributed more evenly. Also the food wasn't that great. Bar is too small, it's impossible to get a table and even if you get one, you end up sitting too close to other people.

Pros: I stayed for 9 days, partly being a tourist and partly attending a conference at the University of Stockholm. The location of the Haymarket hotel is very central and convenient to the subway system, not a bad walk from the Arlanda Express train station, and very walkable in general. It's a very elegant hotel in a well-renovated historic building (former department store). I was quite pleased with my room (632) with a nice view of the rooftops, and it was very quiet. The elevators arrived promptly (always appreciated). The buffet breakfast had a lot of offerings (I didn't try the cook-to-order items) and I was happy with it and didn't have trouble getting seating. There are a variety of restaurants nearby. I didn't eat at the hotel restaurants for lunch or dinner. I loved the decor of my room, especially the pretty tiled bathroom, and as a Greta Garbo fan, the memorabilia associated with her at the hotel was delightful.
Cons: My flight arrived so early in the morning, that there was no room available for me until around 3:30 in the afternoon (not a surprise; I expected that). I was able to store my suitcase at the hotel and wandered around town, and spent some time relaxing in the hotel lounge which was comfortable. The staff was very helpful even though the typical check-out/check-in rush period was extremely busy. The hotel doesn't have a concierge & if the front desk is busy you're on your own figuring out where to go & what to do, but that wasn't a problem for me. I will say, the farmer's market that sets up & breaks down each day in front of the hotel is a nice feature, but it leaves a lot of trash around the front of the hotel outside which could be better taken care of.

Cons: Since hotel has an atrium where, among other things, breakfast takes place, acoustics was weird. Dining room has that mess hall sound, so reminded me of my Army days. Otherwise it was OK. But truth to be told, some other Radisson hotels had better breakfast . Anyway, this is just me. Maybe it was just my overall impression. I wouldn't pay too much attention to it.

Cons: Staff not too friendly but direct. Loud construction noise in room from 10am until 430pm. Hotel is mid renovation. Calls to front desk was met with a cold... there nothing that I can do. There's always something you can do to make your guests less upset. Hotel should be upfront with information and knowledge about the construction. A business traveler who is out of the room during the day would be less upset than we would be. We weren't too upset because our child didn't wake up but if he did we may very well be as we are jet lagged and the child needed to sleep. But notice would have allowed some possibility of planning.
You may get an older room from the 80s. Carpets were dirty and worn in our room. The room decor color scheme did not age well.

Cons: The first night when we arrived there is only 2 pieces of face tissue left in the box. Called them to get a new box. No action . Next morning we took the empty box out left on the washroom counter . They take away the empty tissue box and do not give us any tissue ? Crazy

Cons: We stayed during a few very hot, humid days and the rooms don’t have air conditioning. It was not overly uncomfortable and the front desk provided a fan when we asked, but A/C was missed. In addition, the glass in the shower does nothing to keep water from getting the bathroom floor all wet. That was annoying.

Pros: I stayed in a little bit upgraded room. I booked this hotel for romantic get away and this hotel gives you all: amazing view on a city, heated open air pool on the rooftop terrace. Facilities were comfortable, clean, area is very central - nice to walk around. And breakfast was veery good.

Cons: The bed was a bit too soft for my liking and the mattress moved around a lot. Unfortunately, our room also suffered from several small things which added up, such as a leaking shower head in the shower and a broken tap in the sink. There was also a loose piece of grating on the side of the bathtub and the toilet seat was loose and moved around. The window handle was also loose and came off when I opened the window. I also wish the lamps by the bed could have been adjusted a bit because they were very bright and fixed in their position.

Cons: We had a family room, with what was supposed to be a king sized bed and a bed sofa. The king sized bed turned out to be in reality two separate beds, meaning that sleeping more than 2 in the bed was very uncomfortable. Our child sleeping in the middle had to sleep in a crack. The bed sofa was extremely rickety, it rattled and squeaked so badly from the slightest movement, that we couldn't even use it. In the end, sleeping two adults and one small child in what was supposed to be a family room, at an outrageous price to boot, was more uncomfortable than all of us sleeping in many standard rooms of other hotels. Definitely won't be booking this one again!

Yes, I had had a bath... All this for 432 euro per night!!! The manager said she could not adjust the tariff because I had booked through booking.com .

Cons: The maintenance and cleanliness of the hotel left a lot to be desired. When we arrived, our room sink was broken which was fixed on request. The room refrigerator had used empty bottles in it which had not been cleaned. Even though we highlighted it to the reception, they were not cleared thru the 3 days we were there. This is more a 3-4 star business hotel and no more.

Cons: Frontdesk staff (on the other days of my stay) was far from hospitable and guest oriented! Support was done reluctantly with an attitude as I was a nuisance that I occupied their precious time! Same in the bar. Arrogant and uninterested. Apparently wages are so high that the customer is a annoying side effect of their job. Being kicked out two nights in a row with a group of around 10-15 business people because they wanted to close! No warning, no last round, we were just told "take your drink and finish it in the lobby!!!!" And on top, the lady from frontdesk refused to sell us bottled beers because that was against regulation..... Luckily, one F.D. employee gave us a brake and sold us 5 bottles of beer! But because of his female colleague, we weren't allowed to drink those in the lobby?! Strange that the bar-staff can kick us out, telling us to finish our beers in the lobby but afterwards, we are not allowed to drink these "roomservice" beers in the same lobby?! So mandatory early bedtime for a group of people that wanted to spend money in the hotel but apparently where not welcome! I and my business partners felt really unwanted!

Cons: Breakfast was too crowded and busy. It seemed as if the staff was overwhelmed at times which lead to no plates and cutlery. The variation of food was good but just too little space.

Pros: This is a beautiful hotel in a very good position. Near the Central station and near a metro station. You’ll arrive in a while in the old city center as Gamla Stan. I loved the breakfast so much. Beautiful reception with nice staff people.
Cons: I booked a superior upper room for 2 people. The room is big enough but I think it’s not a real 4 stars. Everything cleaned but a little old and dowdy.

Cons: The room is very small (miniature) you can not move. The bathroom seat had no space to set and to top it all the shower sink was placed at the highest level of the ground converting taking a shower like swimming in a pool. There were construction in every floor in the hotel with dust every were.

Cons: Good breakfast BUT had to wait more than 10 minutes to find a free table. Extremely small room with a single bed and a table, something around 10m2. Boring tv channels, only one in English. When you pay extra for a window in the room you want to be able to open it and look outside. Not the case! The whole hotel needs a serious renovation.

Cons: - no instructions on how to use the heating controller on the wall (couldn’t understand the reason why the room is colder that the bathroom where actually the floor was heated - which was awesome) - not a dislike but rather awareness that rooms are small and you don’t have much space to use (not an issue if you don’t spend too much time in the hotel and you like to stay in the lobby area for a drink in the evening) - no indications related to wifi usage and access

Cons: Very small rooms, no closet to store clothes, cleaning service only every 4th days, the linen was not big enough to cover all the (small) bed. They are single room used as double. Room are simply too small. The first room had a terrible smell coming from the shower sink. They changed the room but the second one had a very small linen, not big enough to cover the small bed. We had to sleep with half body not covered. Terrible experience.
