Pros: Our 8 night stay in the first week of September was very pleasant. Location is very central and within walking distance of the most interesting sites. The staff were friendly and helpful. We dined in five different restaurants while in Stockholm and honestly feel that the hotel's own restaurant came out as our preferred one. One word of caution. Walking in the hotel corridors heading to or from one's room, care must be taken because the room doors open outward. Although probably a remote risk, but a risk nevertheless. As we were walking towards our room, a door was opened and the door handle caught my partner's arm and nearly knocked her over had I not held her. It could have been worse had it been her head. So careful, walk in the centre of the corridor. Otherwise Enjoy your stay.

Cons: The bathroom was badly arranged. It was a disabled-accessible room, which I hadn't expected, so it was annoying for that reason, but even if I were disabled, there was no surface within reach of the shower to put shampoo, soap, etc. while I was under it.

Pros: Frey’s is a small family run hotel tucked away in a quiet street which is very close to Central station and the center of Stockholm. My room was a single but it had plenty of space. The breakfast was excellent with many choices. The restaurant was always busy and there is a lovely area to sit outside and enjoy a drink and food.

In toiletries accessories were provided one time dental kit and shaving kit which means for me a lot. The staff was very hospitable and friendly. The breakfasts were amazing with changing of one hot dish everyday. Great selection of Belgium beers at restaurant.

Pros: This hotel exceeded our expectations. We usually stay at the Grand Hotel and have to say we actually preferred our stay here - modern, incredibly comfortable rooms with a fresh decor. I was impressed by the bath products - divine! The sheets were incredibly comfortable. I travel a lot and have to say that this is one of the nicest hotels I have stayed in for a while. The breakfast room was cozy and the ambience warm and welcoming. The staff was incredibly helpful and kind. I was travelling alone with kids and nanny and they made us all feel very welcome. A special thank you to the fantastic concierge who helped us plan our every move through the city - booking everything from boat tours to family friendly restaurants. A great stay and zero complaints!

Cons: At our arrival there was a terrible draft in the room and around the beds. It was sort of windy in the room ; although it was only 16 degrees outside the cooling air conditioning was full on. When we told the reception this they just put down the receiver and when they finally answered they told us that this could not be changed. We tried ourselves to put our dirty clothes to block the draft. But we did only succeed with this halfway. In a country that to the outer world always put themselves up as being conscious as regards energy etc. this was an act of high hypocrisy. We had booked the hotel for another visit to Stockholm in October but we will cancel that. After having slept fairly badly in the strong wind we did not have much energy the next day.

Cons: Breakfast was supposed to be included, although every morning, the person who lets you into breakfast would tell us we had to pay extra. I would say every morning that no we already cleared this up, breakfast was included and they would look again and say "oh yes, you're right". then we we checked out they told us we had incurred fees for having breakfast every morning and we had to again show them that breakfast was included. We stayed for 4 nights. Also, the location is goo but not great. about a 10 minute drive from everything we wanted to do.

Cons: Staff not too friendly but direct. Loud construction noise in room from 10am until 430pm. Hotel is mid renovation. Calls to front desk was met with a cold... there nothing that I can do. There's always something you can do to make your guests less upset. Hotel should be upfront with information and knowledge about the construction. A business traveler who is out of the room during the day would be less upset than we would be. We weren't too upset because our child didn't wake up but if he did we may very well be as we are jet lagged and the child needed to sleep. But notice would have allowed some possibility of planning.
You may get an older room from the 80s. Carpets were dirty and worn in our room. The room decor color scheme did not age well.

The windows do not open more than a couple of centimeters so it takes a long time to get fresh air in the room. I cannot say that I liked the walls painted in green. However, they also have rooms with white walls.

Cons: Even though the hotel is very clean, the décor looks run-down and antiquated. The "single superior" room is quite small, and mine smelled of leaking gas from the radiator heater. The hotel is rather far from the city hub, but there are some hip little nooks and crannies in the surrounding districts. You just need to be adventurous enough to explore the area by foot.

Pros: The breakfast was good we are happy with it. The location is perfect because it is next to the Central station and shops. The staff were friendly.
Cons: The rooms did not have safe deposit box, and the room's floor is a little old.

Pros: Excellent location, 10-15 min walk from the train station, the metro station is practically behind the corner, but if you like to walk, you can reach almost everything and enjoy the spirit of the city. The breakfast is fabulous, excellent choice of warm and cold dishes, from fish, ham, eggs to pastry, pancakes, waffles and fresh fruit. Very helpful staff at the reception.

Pros: Everything, from staff to hotel room and breakfast was above my expectation. Just one thing takes down my overall rating from excellent, that is the chill during night from the great window that of course was closed and with curtains closed too. But I figured it must be an old house with old windows, because I had difficulty sleeping for a while because of the cold coming from the windows. Also, there were no extra blankets as compensation. This was the first weekend of September and I just wonder how cold it can get there if I'd stay there in December, which we have plans for?

Cons: Tried to book fourth night and they said not available. Then available and twice the price. That was disappointing. I'm sure they had cancellations.

Cons: The quality of the room was way worse than what I saw on the pictures. Also the room was really small. Additionally, the sauna (just renovated) was both cold and dirty. I would suggest taking care of that.

Pros: Breakfast was the highlight of our short stay. Hotel bar is lively.
Cons: Bed was lumpy and rolled to the centre. We had a small room but we knew that before going so no complaint regarding that. Lifts are small and take a long time to come, especially at busy times.

Cons: The room is very small (miniature) you can not move. The bathroom seat had no space to set and to top it all the shower sink was placed at the highest level of the ground converting taking a shower like swimming in a pool. There were construction in every floor in the hotel with dust every were.
