Pros: The location could not be better, just off the city's main shopping street. The price I paid was incredibly good value for what was provided and the room gave me everything I required and more. The bed and bathroom were particularly good... as was the excellent bowl of free sweets in reception.

There is hot pipes in toilet, which is helpful for drying towels, clothes. It is quite at night even though it is in center.

Cons: This would have been a superb stay if the room had better sound proofing. Like many others in Italy it is a former apartment divided up into private rooms, so you can hear more than normal from the bedroom next door, which could be very frustrating for some guests.

Cons: Unfortunately on the night I stayed there, the light in the bathroom wasn't working. However, the staff resolved it by providing a lamp that was sufficiently bright.

Pros: Perfect location to travel Cinque Terre by trains. Friendly and helpful staff. We had a very late check-in, but the staff kindly sorted this out. The bedroom and bathroom were clean and cozy. There are some bikes for free if you will decide to have a bike trip across La Spezia.

Pros: Lets start with the kindness of all the staff, from reception to the housekeeping lady. They were all very kind. The extra service of fruits, biscuits, sweets and water at the front desk. The room is beautifull, clean and spacious. There is also a fridge in the room. The location is perfect next to central station. If you go to La Spezia, stay at this place!

Cons: The main door into the apartment is a bit thin and you can hear what is going on in the hallway. It's not a huge problem, because in general, the environment was quiet and peaceful.

Took us 15 mins to walk to the train station and probably 3 mins to walk to the waterfront and port area. Pros: Hotel is ready for refurbishment. Rooms have very bad smell, bathroom is really old and shower is the smallest I have ever seen. Dinning room is dark and not pleasant to spend time at. Garage is 100 m prior entrance to hotel, but once you come for check in you have to drive around the city approx 3 km to get back to garage. I specifically asked two times in the email to give us instructions about garage, assuming that there may be something like this but never got an answer

Pros: Hotel is ready for refurbishment. Rooms have very bad smell, bathroom is really old and shower is the smallest I have ever seen. Dinning room is dark and not pleasant to spend time at. Garage is 100 m prior entrance to hotel, but once you come for check in you have to drive around the city approx 3 km to get back to garage. I specifically asked two times in the email to give us instructions about garage, assuming that there may be something like this but never got an answer
Cons: Linen is new so it was clean where we had to sleep. Housekeeping is doing wanders to maintain cleanliness, considering overall stage of hotel

Pros: I stayed 2 days in this hotel and loved it a lot. Owners and staff were very hospitable and helpful. The room was clean and had everything I needed. Bed is comfortable. Breakfast is sophisticated. The most important part is that people there are willing to satisfy your needs. I had to work while I stayed so the owner was very kind to make sure I had a quite place to work with socket. Wifi is very stable, I was able to work without any interruption. Loved my experience there :)

Cons: In the bathroom there are some defects which are not comfortable when using it like the toilette paper holder. The bathtub is circle and when taking a shower is not comfortable. Also for tall people like me (194cm) was not great because touching the top. You will notice those things when standing on the tub while getting a shower. Next time a little bit more of pasta or dessert will be only welcome. It feels disappointed when seeing a starter which was too small but the dish full of decoration and it was not even cheap.
