Good spot for an overnight
This hotel is right across the street from the main hotel which is good if you're passing through.
Shower was itty bitty!
best feat was being right next to the main station, free internet also v.good and room ok too. For some who like having a nice breakfast though, forget about it. The most spartan I have ever experienced I'm afraid, really poor probably for lack of effort.

The location in relation to the train station was excellent. The breakfast was nice too.
One of the staff members made us feel rushed at breakfast and barely smiled. This made us feel as though we were more of a burden than a valued paying guest.
It was close to the station, the staff were very helpful and we stayed in far worse 3 star hotels this trip.
good location
not enough food choices for breakfast and quantaties not replenished quickly outside street noise so loud it was almost impossible to sleep at night bed very uncomfortable matress needed replacing noise from other rooms clearly audible
the access to city, port, transport and shopping was wonderful.
Hotel Mary was fantastic! about 2min walk from the station ( acess to cinqa terre). Staff were friendly. Room was large, clean and comfortable!
The hotel staff was very kind and informative. Our quad room was large and comfortable. The breakfast was good.
This hotel was one of the most expensive on our trip - the same as our hotel in Venice. The close proximity to Cinque Terre makes the price fair.
The hotel was very conveniently situated for visiting La Spezia and the Cinque Terra as it is directly across from the train station. There are many shops and restaurants close by and internet access is available either at the hotel or just down the road. The hotel staff were very friendly and English was understood. The continental breakfast was excellent. I was travelling on my own and felt safe and secure staying at the hotel and coming and going from the hotel. I have no hesitations at all about recommending the Hotel Mary.
the air conditioning
the location was less than what we expected, but not terrible
The pizza place around the conner, but it had nothing to do with the hotel
It was the worst hotel that we stayed at in all of Italy. We checked out as soon as we were able because of the condition on the hotel. Insulation was falling out of the ceiling, paper thin walls, the beds were like sleeping on cots, and no matter what room you were in you could hear the traiffic from the street below.
With a stay at Hotel Mary, you'll be centrally located in La Spezia, within a 15-minute drive of Lerici Beach and Corso Cavour. Featured amenities include complimentary newspapers in the lobby, a 24-hour front desk, and luggage storage.
