Pros: Very stylish and cheerful staff. Nevertheless, they remained classy. The facility had a blend of classic and modern and the hotel location was fantastic
Cons: There was nothing at all. My family will be staying at this hotel again.
5,4 Okay
Pros: Location and slender And leaving.
Cons: Staff very off At swimming pool wife was informed she had to wear swim suit. Well she did not take one and does not feel comfortable in one so was asked to leave. Seems a bit archaic in this day Many people are body conscious and feel as if they are being judged. I was not happy well informed that I could not speak to a Manager Gordon Ramsay Restaurant appeared not to be open We played a game see how many smiling faces we could see. 2

8,8 Excellent
Pros: The location was great, near restaurants, shopping, and the Palace of Versailles. The hotel staff were very nice and seemed eager to please. They seemed concerned that we enjoyed our stay and were accommodating of a last-minute addition to our stay.
10,0 Excellent
Pros: Stay here for sure. Everything was excellent, and the family owners are exceptionally lovely people.
8,3 Excellent
Pros: The staff were very friendly and accommodating. Made you feel like you were staying with friends! The room was clean, neat and sell decorated. The bed comfortable.
Cons: I would have loved to have a kettle in the room in order to make myself a cup of tea.
7,9 Good
Pros: Lovely family room, no air con but the lady gave us a back room which during the heatwave was quite cool. Two shower room and three sinks! Bathrooms were clean and towels changes daily as was bedding, which we weren't expexting. TV, cupboard space and comfy clean beds. Breakfast was a simple buffet and a little overpriced we felt but nice. Croissants weren't as fresh as we'd hoped especially as there is a boulangerie next door. Parking was easy and local under the cathedral just a 2 minute walk. Location was perfect being 10 minutes from Palace, and 2 mins from Rice Gauch train station for trains to Paris (however, do note that in summer trains don't run all along the river as they would normally so be prepared to walk into the main tourist areas - a good 20 mins. No one told us this at the station so for any who have difficulties walking, be warned).
Cons: Being picky, some paintwork could do with touching up, but generally very clean and comfortable, and would book again.
10,0 Excellent

Cons: Great shower but water went everywhere - no shower curtain!

8,5 Excellent
Pros: Location
Cons: 4th floor walk up. Inadvertently charged twice. No help from booking.com in resolving mistake.
9,6 Excellent
Pros: Great bed and bathroom lovely view into back plaza. Short walk to Versailles! Excellent location and quiet too.
Cons: Elevators in Paris seem really small, says 4 passengers but 2 with a bag or 2 and it's full!
6,3 Good
Pros: Location and underground car park
Cons: No electric socket in bathroom for shaver. Small pokey bathroom with impractical shaped bath and plug not working so had to pick out manually with difficulty by hand. Room not properly cleaned returned to dirty glasses , tea cups and no new water. Had to get reception to rectify it. All rather sloppy and hotel tired. Room did not meet description on website etc lift minute and v slow
5,8 Okay
Pros: Not a lot. The receptionist who booked us in, Edith, was helpful.
Cons: Cost of underground parking was rather high. Expensive breakfast for what was on offer. No more than bread, cereal, a poor selection of fruit and the cooked selection couldn't have been more uninspiring for a 4 star hotel. We have received more and better at 3 star establishments. The bathroom design was poor. If you turned the tap on the sink on too much the splash back gave you a shower and the shower flooded the floor!
6,7 Good
Pros: Hotel is nice and friendly. Very good location.
Cons: Staff at the bar didn't quite know what they have and was quite clumsy :)
9,2 Excellent
Pros: Plenty of choice for breakfast, continental and English. The bed was really comfortable and bed linen of good quality.
Cons: There is a height restriction to the private parking area of the hotel.
7,1 Good
Pros: The location is perfect for visiting the palace. The hotel itself is little dated. I would not say it is a 4 star hotel. The staff are friendly though abd the location more than makes up for it. I would stay here again if visiting the palace.
Cons: Hotel on the dated side and the room was a bit small. Stayed on 2nd floor, so no views.
6,0 Good
Pros: The location was excellent for visiting the Palais de Versailles.
Cons: The room was spacious the bathroom was a bit tight. The plug in the sink leaked. The drinks tray was poorly stocked and the kettle was extremely slow. The chairs were uncomfortable and the table was too small.
8,3 Excellent
Pros: Ambiance, perfect location to visit the palace.
Cons: Fridge wasn't cold enough.
7,1 Good
Pros: It’s location to Versailles Palace, restaurants and secure parking (20 euros per night).
Cons: Difficult access with no help, lift which was only able to take 2/3 people at a time. Breakfast was a mess as many of the hot food on offer had gone by 0900 and not replenished. A car park which was in the basement (at a price) which took all my skills to negotiate due to it being so small and tight. On one occasion after being out all day at the palace I borrowed two table knives from the breakfast room so my wife and I could eat some fruit, I was confronted by a very annoyed receptionist who publicly told me off for not asking first! Generally, a hotel only supported by its location to the palace, would not go back.

3,8 Mediocre
Pros: Nothing
Cons: Over price..!! Not worth it stay there for €255..!!
7,1 Good
Pros: Convenient to the airport. Shuttle service was a full size bus. Comfortable beds.
Cons: Upon checking out, I told the person at the front desk we had three breakfasts. He did not give me a receipt and said it would be e-mailed. As I expected, we were charged for four breakfasts and now we are back in the United States. I tried e-mailing the hotel with no response.
3,8 Mediocre
Cons: Many promises that was not there. Slippers? Bathrobe? None. The coffe table at the reception area was not even free. I almost got embarrassed when I try to have some coffe while waiting for the bus, and the reception told me I HAVE TO PAY. tell U what put a note conspicuously. This is not free.
9,6 Excellent
Pros: The staff was really friendly and the check in was smooth. The food at the restaurant was excellent. We stayed in a superior room with espresso machine and soft drinks in the minibar. It was great.
4,6 Okay
Pros: The buffet breakfast although expensive was very good. The staff were helpful.
Cons: First room not as described, the advert and description state it was renovated which it was not, was shabby with broken doors, damaged finishes and a grotty bathroom. When moved to another room this was better but still not great, beds were not comfortable at all (and on castors so constantly moved about!), bathroom had no towel radiator so was cold and had nowhere to dry towels, there were no hooks for clothes and the towels were small, shower had no thermstatic control so temperature varied whenever another room used their bathroom. The room was also not very clean and the light hanging over the chair was too low, when sitting you would hit your head and then the dust would fall down - all in all not very 4 star or Mercure! Save money and stay in the Ibis - cheaper and the same (or better) rooms.
7,9 Good
Pros: The unexpected quality of the restaurant
Cons: Clearly there were insufficient staff to service the restaurant. The underground car park was hard to find.
4,0 Okay
Pros: Bed was fine, so was breakfast. Unfortunately not really continental as no eggs etc. mostly bread and pastries.
Cons: Location very bad, public transit into and from the city poor. Even taxi's didn't want to come out on a weekday morning! Staff doesn't speak English. Arranging for a taxi for the next morning at reception took 2 employees, half an hour, and google translate. And then the taxi couldn't even be booked, I got a call just less than 2 hours before I needed the taxi - telling me I should use Uber because staff wasn't able to book me a taxi. Also poor hygiene - mysterious large stains in carpet and hairs of previous guests in bathroom. Bad pillows and airconditioning, but the bed was fine.
8,8 Excellent
Pros: Modern interior; comes up to the pictures posted by the property owners
10,0 Excellent
Pros: True to the pictures. It s quiet and cosy. Everything you need before/after a long flight. The shuttle to the airport is a big plus. All staff is very friendly.
Cons: The tv at the bar was a bit loud.
6,3 Good
Pros: The lady at check in was very friendly as well as the one from room service
Cons: You can’t open windows- food quality is for the rather high price really bad

9,6 Excellent
Pros: I visited this hotel just over a year ago and it was OK then. This year I find it is under new ownership and they have made tremendous improvements. Facilities for disabled folk, redesign of reception and reconditioning the rooms and bathrooms have all been done really well.
7,1 Good
Pros: One French man was helpful and cheerful.
Cons: There was no ice or wine at bar all week????
9,6 Excellent
Pros: Reception Manager, Sam, looked after us very well, with everything, & helped us with pointing out local amenities, & explaining the "ins & outs" of our Palace visit.
Cons: No milk, & minimal tea Etc. on room drinks tray.
8,0 Excellent
Pros: Staff was professional, room was ok, nothing great about the place, price was reasonable.
Cons: Was farther than I had expected from pretty much everything.
8,0 Excellent
Pros: Location, congeniality of staff.
8,3 Excellent
Pros: Room a little small, but good value and great location for Versailles
10,0 Excellent
Pros: the hotel did a reserved parking for us as we had 6 sports cars, the car park was quiet and private, plus we were only 10 minutes walk to the Palace and the restaurants around the corner. the hotel was newly refurbed so it was clean and fresh, rooms not the biggest in the world but still enough for a two night stop over...breakfast was superb as well.
10,0 Excellent
Pros: Excellent hotel - expensive but worth it - secure safe carpark limited to some 8+ cars so arrive before teatime. Ideal for visiting the palace
Cons: limited carparking , but there open carparking elsewhere, - as we had a motorbike to park = so we arrived mid afternoon.
9,2 Excellent
Pros: Newly refurbished hotel within walking distance of the Chateau, tasteful decor ... private, secure parking for around £8 per day ... breakfast was available but we didn't use this facility preferring to join the locals in the many nearby bistros and cafes. Staff were all very friendly and helpful, room was made up each day and fresh towels etc. provided.
8,3 Excellent
Pros: Location was close to Saturday market and to Versailles. They had a parking lot.
Cons: Room was small. Receptionist was a goofball and tried to be funny - it didn't work.
8,8 Excellent
Pros: Clean, location, good shower and comfortable bed
Cons: Pillows on bed not to our taste
8,3 Excellent
Pros: Checking in was very simple, the staff were all very welcoming, helpful and knowledgeable. The man on reception gave us a map and highlighted a lot of the places of interest and the best routes to them. Breakfast was good especially for a continental. Plenty of choice and regularly topped up. Rooms were a reasonable size, especially for France. The hotel is well located, less than 10 minute walk to the Chateau. There is a busy square just around the corner with a daily market and lots of restaurants our favourite was Pizza Capri which had a good menu & cocktails Our room had a great view of the Hopital Richaud across the road however our daughters view was the car park. There is a lot more to Versailles than the Chateau, it really is worth exploring the town as well

4,2 Okay
Pros: Hotel de France located in 5-7 minutes from chateau Versailles. Intérieur is atmospheric. Real part of history!
Cons: 1. Poor lights. I really feel like in XVIII Château : no good lights, cold, smell of canalisation from bathroom and some unknown bugs who bites you. I enjoyed this experience, but not for work 100%. 2. No basic service. just shampoo and soap: no toothbrush, no slippers, no compliment (water as minimum, no tea, no coffee), no laundry. 3. Breakfast is really poor: just cheese, bread, croissant and very salty meet. Nothing to eat if you really want to have breakfast. 4. Difficulties with parking. 1 day of parking = 20€. It is really expensive. Also city tax is higher then other cities. I found Versailles really expensive. 5. I was in hotels with different rates in different countries and I didn’t expected that here 3 starts it is the hotel without basic stuff in. My mistake that I didn’t checked what was included, but really do not recommend. I was bitten by unknown bug, a few times: one was in my hand and another one on my cheek. After a few days it is started to swallow and itchy.
10,0 Excellent
Pros: The location was THE BEST for visiting Versailles. We could easily walk to and from our apartment to the Chateaux. We opted to use the Chateaux parking lot, which made parking a breeze. Expensive parking, but it was well worth the convenience. The rooms were beautiful, the beds were comfortable, and the staff was excellent. I believe the owners are closing later in 2019 for a full renovation into a 5 star hotel. GO to this hotel while you can. It is a wonderful value and I think the rooms are lovely the way they are!
Cons: The breakfast was ok.
10,0 Excellent
Pros: Great location . Clean and comfortable
Cons: Better lighting.
8,0 Excellent
Pros: Perfect location for visiting the Versailles palais and gardens.
Cons: Breakfast is surely good enough, but simple French style. Some scrambled or fried eggs for instance would not have hurt. Coming back from the intensive day at the palias you could not get any drinks or refreshments as the restaurant (and with that the bar) only opened at 1900.
9,2 Excellent
Pros: Very close both Versailles and train station
Cons: We asked the reception guy to wake Us up in the morning, He never did. We almost got late to train
9,6 Excellent
Pros: Assistance at the reception was super! Lucile helped us at every step of the way where we needed help ! Thank you very much !
9,2 Excellent
Pros: Simple breakfast, but plenty to eat and tasty. Could see a little of Chateau Versailles from bedroom window, so very close! Checked-in very late as train from airport was delayed.
7,1 Good
Pros: Location near versaai palace
Cons: No help for baggage as they have stairs after elavetor No AC if summer
9,6 Excellent
Pros: The location is amazing and parking right out the front was very easy.
Cons: Had a lovely meal at the hotel restaurant after being given a 10% discount voucher by reception. However, the restaurant bill had unexplained charges of an additional 20% and then another 15% which left us feeling ripped off.
7,9 Good
Cons: Breakfast was a bit disappointing

Pros: Service on front desk was excellent
Cons: There was some confusion over whether breakfast had been included in what we had already paid for and we ended up then paying for it and we anticipated that. Location is not great if you want to get into Paris. Drive in in the end as the tram to train option will take over an joir
7,9 Good
Pros: Good stay good price easy parking good value
8,3 Excellent
Pros: convenient for the airport prior to flight out early the next morning
1,0 Poor
Pros: The hotel in general and room in particular were nothing special but at least it was clean. The hotel is close to the Orly airport but don't count on the free shuttle.
Cons: Hotel was listed as having free breakfast when we booked and our confirmation stated the same. However, we were denied breakfast by employees. Free shuttle to the airport could hold no more than 8 and was so overbooked that we had to pay to go to airport.

Cons: 1) Room 225 needs a handyman: -bad smell in the room every evening when I arrived - Toilet door lock sticking out more than 1 cms, hurting me pretty bad when the light was tempered. - bedside light cover loose, falling off several times 2) no WC brush 3) ordered taxi was 'taken/stolen' by someone else. The 2nd one ordered never showed up. We had to walk 2 kms (with a hurt knee) to our appointment, obviously arriving half an hour late. Paying 201€ (breakfast excluded) is double the value received.

Pros: Breakfast only is good

Cons: Room was not ready as I ordered a room with seperate beds. They told me to seperate the beds myself and I got linnen to make up my own bed. There was no cover for my duvet. How is that possible? After complaining they told me just to cover myself!!!??!!

Cons: Service in the restaurant was very poor, although the food was ok

Pros: Great location in Versailles with parking garage. The room had a fridge and tea making facilities, which is unusual in France but was very welcome. It was also just a short walk to lots of great restaurants and about 10 minutes away from the palace. And some firmer pillows in the room. Overall a very good experience
Cons: Pillows to soft, like sleeping on marshmallows Could have done with better coffee facilities and coffee

Pros: Lots of nice restaurants in the area though many were closed as it was August. We particularly enjoyed the west African restaurant down the street.
Cons: Couldn't prove it despite tearing the sheets and pillow cases off, but both myself and my wife were covered in bites and we suspect bed bugs. There were also two brown spots on the sheets that are signs of bed bugs as well.
8,8 Excellent
Pros: Extremely comfortable bed and very efficient staff
Cons: All good

Pros: Great location and easy to find.
10,0 Excellent
Pros: I love the location of the hotel, it's only a few minutes walk to Versailles palace, the gardens and the train stations. You get to walk around the town center and choose from different cafès and restaurants. The staff are kind and welcoming, particularly Philippe and Clemence.

9,6 Excellent
Pros: Convenient family camping style. Well organized. The location is close to city and public transport.
Cons: A bit noisy sometimes, but that is to be expected from a family camping and dependent on the behavior of some guests. However, during the night it was reasonably quiet, also because it is not possible to enter or leave the camping by car between 23:00 and 7:00. I had to pay for an additional set of towels, while I was there for a 7 nights stay.
9,2 Excellent
Pros: The campsite is close to nature and yet at the same time central. It was relaxing and staff were helpful.
Cons: It was a bit expensive.
10,0 Excellent
Pros: We stayed here on way back to the UK to break the journey and take the opportunity to pop into Paris with kids. This was a really great way to do it! Much better value than a hotel and much more fun. We stayed in a standard safari tent which was warm, comfortable and well equipped. Staff were super helpful and kind. Getting into Paris by train is easy and campsite let us leave car there while we went in. Had pizza and burgers in the campsite restaurant which was nice - burgers nicer than pizzas. Pool looked somewhat small for the size of site.
Cons: Nothing!
5,4 Okay
Pros: Location good and has a decent power shower
Cons: Chalet quite small and advertised for up to 6 people which would be a joke Only ok for two staying really so very pricey in that respect
7,1 Good
Pros: The overall feel of the site, very rustic and beautiful setting with the mature trees.
Cons: With only 3 lights in the tent, all three lights are important!! One bulb had gone and no light in one of the tent compartments. It was also very cold at night, I think it would be nice to provide a few pieces of wood for the burner for visitors to keep warm. Also pool needs a bit of maintenance; the smaller pool, all the rubber liner was coming up.
7,1 Good
Pros: Location is good but no restaurants nearby. A bigger shop would be good but we did buy wine and essentials. Tent and wood burner was amazing. Not far from station and 20 minutes to Eiffel tower
Cons: Not enough pillows. Sink very shallow. Step at front of cabin too big. Needs a step. Only 2 lounging chairs. Shower not enough water for 4
6,7 Good
Pros: Great location for visiting Versailles and Paris as train station 10 minute walk away.
Cons: For the price and from the pictures was expecting a lot better surroundings. All lodges looked straight into each other so don't expect privacy. Looked out onto bare mud with a single large tree in the centre. Thank goodness we had no rain as it would have been a quagmire.
8,3 Excellent
Pros: Overall good site & good facilities. Good value for what we spent & for location, access to Paris.
Cons: Not a lot to not like. Value for money, good location, just a 10 minute walk to the station. Could have been slightly cleaner, slightly better mattresses on beds.
7,9 Good
Pros: Excellent location for catching train to Paris. Just a ten minute walk from the campsite and a quick train journey in and we were right outside the Eiffel Tower!
Cons: Very basic but clean and just what we needed
7,9 Good
Pros: Excellent location for Paris and visiting Versailles. A 5 minute walk to the train station which stops in central Paris, a short walk along the Seine to the Eiffel Tower. We booked a safari tent for family of 5 and it was brilliant for a short stay.
Cons: Food and drinks were very expensive in the Bar.

Pros: 24/7 check in was helpful.
Cons: Noisy at night due to nearby club. Air condition was not working.
4,2 Okay
Cons: I requested a wake-up call at 6:30, the whole area was terribly noisy outside the hotel from 3 am until 5 am and THE STAFF FORGOT TO WAKE ME UP. I was 45 minutes late and came within a whisker of missing my plane. There was a mess from repair work when I arrived, the floor was covered with repair scraps and I am generally HIGHLY DISPLEASED with this hotel. No paper even to explain the Internet code, the staff could not explain to me in English so I had to run back with my laptop. Overall - one of the worst nightmares I have ever had in any hotel in my life!

Pros: location and airport transfer
Cons: the service was terrible, the internet did not work, the employee could not help me solve, could not answer me, after I paid the employee did not give me any payment receipt, at check out the employee was arranging breakfast and I I had a short time to go to the airport.
