Pros:
Bell staff was very responsive when we got to our room and it was at least 85 degrees inside -- he immediately told us he would get another room for us and he did. Very effective.
Cons:
The shower seemed to have 2 settings: scalding or lukewarm. Very unsatisfying!

Please read the ending. I liked the Hilton Paris Charles De Gaulle Airport facility very much. I would definitely use it again in the future. I had some minor problems after I checked in, but they were taken care of and I was comped me for my inconvenience. HOWEVER!: The Hilton Paris Charles De Gaulle is really getting a very large black eye all day long - everyday by its airport shuttle service. Once you walk out the front door you’re on your own. The shuttle comes about every 15 minutes and you better be ready to fight for your place in the van. I was out on the curb waiting the first time around but was totally unprepared for what happened. It was a combination of those who had an inside track with someone on the inside or was willing to push others out of the way. Either way the Hilton needs to get control of this. On the first van run a group on young men who spoke French cut in front on the assembled guests that were waiting for the airport shuttle. As the second van approached (30 minutes in) I thought I was ready but just as I got to the rear of the van door a couple with 9 pieces of luggage and of all things what appeared to be a surfboard in a case with a hotel porter in the lead pushed to the front, commandeered the whole van (no others guests got on this run). During these first two van runs I observed three different elderly couples get pushed aside; I attempted to confront the porter about what had happened to the elderly people but he got up in my face and told me to back off. By the third van run (45 minutes later) I was getting worried about making it through security on time for my flight to New York. I barely got on that third van but only one of the elderly couples made it that time. Hilton, this is your front door. This is the last thing a guest experiences as they leave your property and it was very memorable. No matter how great the guests experience might have been during their stay, it is completely overshadowed by the rude and disrespectful treatment at your front door by the porters and van drivers.

Pros:
Overall great place to stay. The shuttle was a bit hard to find at CDG - but once located all went well. If you want to use the shuttle - locate where the TGV station on level 5 is - that is where they pick you up. It is a 3 min ride to hotel. Nice pool for the family - a hard thing to find in Paris.

Pros:
Great location. The airport train station is very nearby and that's probably the best way to get there unless you have a lot of luggage, in which case there is also a free shuttle. The room was nice and the bed was comfy.
Cons:
The restaurant had a very limited menu and all of the food was very overpriced. Also, there was no hot tub.

Shame that there is no shuttle to Terminal 3. I know the terminal is close, but my 80 year old mother had a difficult time getting from the hotel to Terminal 3.

Pros:
The hotel is easily accessible from the RER CDG terminal 1-3 (second to last on the RER B)...it's so close you can actually use the luggage carts in the terminal to push your suitcases (and kids) to hotel. There is also usually a stockpile of a half-dozen carts just outside the hotel on the way to the station from other travellers who figured this out. The airport and hotel are in zone 5 of the metro, so if you get a day pass that includes zone 5 you're all set for a day trip into the city on the RER (30-50 minutes depending on the train and destination).
Cons:
The hotel breakfast was rather pricy, and you can get cheap pastries and coffee in the RER station for the whole family for the price of one breakfast. There is a hotel shuttle that picks up at the 5th floor of RER terminal 2...which has a number of logitical issues: 1) If you have a cart, you need to use the elevators...which usually have too many people waiting for them while they service the floors you're not on. 2) if you are being dropped off by the shuttle, don't expect carts to be available on the 5th floor. I had to go down the stairs to get a cart on the 4th floor, then carried it up to the 5th floor, loaded up several bags, waited 10 minutes for the elevator, then decided it would be faster to carry the bags down to the 4th floor and reload there. It was faster than waiting for the elevator on the 5th floor. 3) the shuttle can only hold a certain number of people, and even if it runs every 15-20 minutes, it's possible during peak times that you might have to wait for a third shuttle.
