8,8 Excellent
Pros: Staff was helpful and friendly. Location was convenient to vineyards and Reims.

8,0 Excellent
Pros: The room was very nice but the hotel misunderstood our request for FEATHER pillows and instead supplied extra pillows!
Cons: The bathroom in our room wasn't cleaned very well on our first day and we had to call Reception to get replacement tissues and toilet paper. 19 euros for the breakfast was rather extortionate so we went to cafe next door!
8,5 Excellent
Pros: Liked the blackout shade on the window
Cons: Beds were not very comfortable
10,0 Excellent
Pros: The location is Great and near by a parking garage.
Cons: If you open the Windows is noisy because it is a area with a lot restaurant and bars but cosy.
8,8 Excellent
Pros: Fantastic location for restaurants and sightseeing. Modern interior, room small but nicely decorated and good shower. Staff very friendly. Would stay there again if visiting Reims.
Cons: Breakfast not included in price.

10,0 Excellent
Pros: Everything: location, quality of service, breakfast high standard of room
Cons: Car park entrance very tight for a large car.
9,3 Excellent
Pros: The location of this boutique guesthouse is fantastic - the staff cannot do enough for you. The house champagne is lovely. Breakfast was served continental style but you could also order boiled eggs. Would stay here again and recommend it to others - you just have to be aware that there is no restaurant on site but many restaurants within an easy walk.
10,0 Excellent
Pros: The traditional style. The deco and the facilities
8,3 Excellent
Pros: Staff were lovely
Cons: Excellent apart from parking. Wouldn't recommend trying to park there in a large 4x4
8,8 Excellent
Pros: Well located and friendly staff. Good room with everything you need
Cons: The room was very close to the breakfast area which meant a bit of noise. We had breakfast one morning. The bread was a bit stale and fruit withered. It was a lot of money for a ho hum breakfast
10,0 Excellent
Pros: The breakfast was fabulous, served in a lovely garden-themed dining room. One could take breakfast on the terrasse also, but we opted for the air-conditioned dining room! The continental breakfast was so large that nothing else was needed, and it held us until lunch.
Cons: I can't think of anything that wasn't perfect.
10,0 Excellent
Pros: Friendly and helpful staff. Great location for walking around the town.
9,3 Excellent
Pros: Had air conditioning and swimming pool
Cons: No kettle in room , no restaurant
8,3 Excellent
Pros: Staff were VERY polite, bedroom was lovely, bathroom large and high spec with bath and separate shower. Pool was a little cold but of an adequate size.
Cons: I struggle to rate this hotel. It is advertised as a 4* but it doesn’t have a restaurant, and whilst you can order drinks on the terrace, I only knew this by seeing someone else do it. There is no bar to speak of. The outside is not that inspiring and there is no real reception area to relax in. The Sauna/Steam room was not switched on. They volunteered to switch on but that would have taken time. The Wi-fi only works in the breakfast room and even then not very well. The breakfast was frozen fruit (inedible) and a selection of breads/jam. Hardly worth €17!! And they charged $4 for a bottle of water from t mini-fridge!!!! With only 20 rooms it was a more a nice guest house with pool. 2* / 3* at best. For the same money you have genuine 4* like the best western or holiday inn.
9,5 Excellent
Pros: Excellent breakfast - continental style but brought to your table, not a buffet style. Good pool along with a sauna in the basement and there was still natural light. Very comfortable bed with a spacious room and clean luxurious bathroom. The staff were very helpful and friendly
Cons: Difficult to think of anything, it was an exceptional stay.

Pros: Location excellent and secure. Clean hotel and friendly staff. Adjoining rooms were a great benefit to us.
Cons: Just need a two more pillows in the room
7,5 Good
Pros: Room was very clean and was of a high standard.
Cons: No one there to check you in if you arrived after 8.0pm. Had to ring and money added to credit card for breakfast without asking if we were having it or even telling me what it was for. Nowhere to get a hot drink when arriving after 8.0pm, no kettle or coffee and tea in rooms to make yourself.
10,0 Excellent
Pros: The hotel was easily reachable from the motorway, only 5 min drive from the beautiful town centre
8,0 Excellent
Pros: Location and super clean and modern facilities and huge secure car park which we appreciated as we had bikes on the car.
Cons: Location is a bit bland in the middle of an industrial estate though at least there were a few eating places nearby but the hotel although advertises as having a restaurant on site it’s very basic and anyhow was closed when we arrived tired after a long journey.
5,8 Okay
Pros: Dinner, easy access from Motorway, helpful staff
Cons: Lack of a proper bar, air conditioning didn't work, bathroom was tiny, had to ask for a hairdryer

7,5 Good
Pros: Room was good value for money... Good location
Cons: Food in the restaurant not the best
10,0 Excellent
Pros: Good Breakfast , everything was available. Secure underground parking.
Cons: All good
8,3 Excellent
Pros: A very decent breakfast even though we weren't that food of the coffee. Goodsized room with comfortable beds and AC. We also liked that there was a bar and restaurant (only dinner) at the hotel. Furthermore, a very convenient parking under the hotel with elevator directly to the reception or room. But it did have a somewhat tricky access. (It's on a one-way street so you have to pass the hotel, go around the block to come the right way.)
Cons: Nothing really.
8,3 Excellent
Pros: Food was good, especially breakfast. Hotel was very clean.
Cons: Not as near to the centre as we thought.
8,8 Excellent
Pros: Very helpful staff and quick response with communications.
Cons: Nothing
9,3 Excellent
Pros: 10 minute walk to city centre and Cathedral. Lovely, comfortable room with good amenities; restaruant and bar on premises.
Cons: Nothing
9,3 Excellent
Pros: Location was great and breakfast was superb ..
Cons: Thought it was expensive there were places to park all around the hotel but we paid for the car park €13.50 per night which when we booked they could have told us we did not need to.
7,5 Good
Pros: easy to get to the centre and room was fine - good shower - clean room and lifts worked well
Cons: easy to park etc but extra charges for the dog €10, parking €13.50 Also the dinner menu had an item on there marked as a speciality - a special local sausage. However, my wife ordered it and it was inedible, we had to return it. The hotel need to make it clear that it is an acquired taste (it smells like what it is - the colon of a pig.) the waiter took the item back and we had a replacement main course but would not accept it was inedible however he would not eat it himself!
9,3 Excellent
Pros: Bed very comfortable
Cons: There are tea making facilities in the room but only enough for one cup of tea each in a paper cup. I would much prefer a proper china mug.
10,0 Excellent
Pros: Perfectly located in the city centre. Spacious and modern room, hot drink facility included and air-con already working on our arrival! Friendly multi-lingual staff. Everything 'sparkled' with cleanliness throughout the hotel. Restaurant provides a good choice of well prepared food at fair prices.
Cons: Car park space expensive.

7,0 Good
Pros: Location
Cons: Hotel staff needs to try communicate with non English visitors in English
10,0 Excellent
Pros: Close to city center and train station (not TGV - that’s in a suburb, but well served with tram); lovely Staff and breakfast buffet.
Cons: A little hard to find the first time- the signs are tiny ... but after that, no problem
8,0 Excellent
Pros: Location was great; very central and convenient. A few minutes walk to the city centre and major key spots. Honestly you can walk everywhere if you are a bit willing. The room were spacious with comfortable bed.
Cons: The hotel couldn't locate our booking reference which was quite weird and has never happened with booking.com. They claimed it has been cancelled even though it still shows confirmed on booking.com; hence prompting us to book again at the prevailing prices. Nevertheless; booking was able to sort everything and refund us
8,3 Excellent
Pros: Location
Cons: Air conditioning barely functioned. There was hair on the floor in the bathroom.
9,3 Excellent
Pros: Very nice shared space on the ground floor with plenty to do, eat and drink. I really appreciated the style of the area, the multitude of choices for sitting, watching some tv, sharing a drink, etc. Rooms were typically what you expect from an Ibis which is pretty good. Air conditioning and good TV’s are a definite plus.
Cons: Nothing to report.
9,3 Excellent
Pros: Clean and 2 mins walk to station. Standard IBIS - very small rooms. But well suited to us for th one night. Staff very friendly, meals and bar on site. Close to main centre.
9,3 Excellent

Cons: parking not secure.

Pros: The staff were very helpful and friendly. The pool was a nice addition and parking was very easy. It was an easy 15 minutes walk into the centre of Reims. We were there on a night stop on our way to the Alps and would stay again.
Cons: The room was fine but a little small for 3 of us.
8,8 Excellent
Pros: We were in a top floor room at the rear of the motel .... nice and quiet
10,0 Excellent
Pros: - room was very clean and air conditioned (25 degrees inside) upon our arrival (it was 38 degrees outside !) - staff is very helpful, very friendly, social, etc - swimming pool was a great refreshment after a day of travelling in hot temperatures - the room has roller shutters : it makes the room dark at night and keeps the heat/noise out - instead of hammam (hot temperatures outside !) the hotel offered us a garage to put my sports car in for the night. - breakfast was ok, all was there, etc ... - hotel is only at 15 min walk from the city center, and is located in a quiet area
Cons: The bed was a bit short, but I am a bit tall ;) (I am 1m90) Nevertheless very comfortable bed :)
9,5 Excellent
Pros: A warm welcome from the receptionist who was extremely helpful and polite throughout. A good sized room that was clean and well furnished. Pool looked inviting but didn’t get a chance to try it out. Would definitely return and recommend.

Pros: Wonderful place for a stop over or longer stay. Pool was great, breakfast great and staff really helpful. Big reccomendation
7,5 Good
Pros: Parking available on the street at no cost, decent sized room and bathroom.
Cons: Breakfast was a little pricey at 11€
7,0 Good
Pros: Nice hotel with very helpful and service-minded staff who give recommendations and really engages if you have the smallest problem. We arrived late, after 11 PM, but with a phone call the staff arranged for us to get into our rooms without any trouble. Rooms are quite small. Nice breakfast. A bit off in a calm neighbourhood.
Cons: There isn't really anything except houses in the area, and it's at least 20 min walk to the station and city center. No restaurants nearby.
8,3 Excellent
Pros: very basic, good for one night very small, but clean. Pool made it great due to heatwave!

Cons: Nothing.
8,0 Excellent
Pros: Great interior design and spaces have updated the hotel to feel modern. Comfortable rooms and very friendly welcoming staff.
Cons: Very high prices at the bar. Had a shock at checkout when I saw the cost of a beer and a g&t was over 20 euros!
8,8 Excellent
Pros: Swimming pool, breakfast and decor were amazing. The ambience in the reception area was very friendly, fun and sociable.
Cons: Air conditioning was non existent, although you could open a window in the room. Was just a bit warm to be comfortable. Had weird plastic/paper mattress covers on the bed which was noisy when you moved.
5,1 Okay
Pros: Good staff & breakfast
Cons: Rooms were tatty and generally run down. Not 3*
10,0 Excellent
Pros: The friendly staff and relaxed atmosphere and great Beds! Bellaceen was an amazing staff person a great asset to your company. Thank you for our stay.
9,5 Excellent
Pros: General look of internals of hotel, different, funky, colourful. Good breakfast, nice evening restaurant food. Room was large, bright, and clean. All round good place to stay, staff friendly and helpful.
Cons: Not very good air conditioning in the room!
8,3 Excellent
Pros: I loved the arts!! The property has amazingly modern and filled with really cool underground artwork from artists from Reims, the local region ! So many places to shoot really cool photos as it was our job! It was perfect for Instagram lovers !! They had baby-foot and really coo outdoor pool, Terrace but also AWSOME buffet ! Very homey feeling !
Cons: Mathilde, one lady was very sweet and it was a young spirit hotel but maybe a little too much “self-service” style. A bit more guidance would be great ! I wish they would do some art activities in the hotel around champagne as well. Also I wish the restaurant would be open weekdays!
10,0 Excellent
Pros: Breakfast was great location easy to get to after a very frustrating day with Eurotunnel, travelling on the busiest day of the year was not something we would ever do again!

Hôtel de la Cathédrale - Reims - Building
11
8,0 Excellent (1 073 reviews)
R1 233+
Overview Reviews
With a stay at Hôtel de la Cathédrale in Reims (Reims City Centre), you'll be within a 5-minute walk of Museum of Fine Arts and Notre-Dame de Reims. Featured amenities include complimentary newspapers in the lobby and luggage storage.
9,3 Excellent
Pros: Great central location with a view of the cathedral from the street. Continental breakfast was well done, with yoghurts, cheese, two sorts of bread, as well as croissants etc. It was nice to have a kettle and tea-making facilities in the room too.
Cons: Room a little small for 3 people.
8,2 Excellent
Pros: Overall, everything the accommodations at this hotel were above acceptable. The double rooms are a little tight for 2 couples, but manageable since we were rarely inside. We didn't interact much with staff, they seemed accommodating and agreeable. The bathroom was fine, slightly precarious bathtub/shower combo that could use somewhat better enclosure, but completely function with good water pressure. The most redeeming aspect of the hotel was the location. It was at a perfect intersect with the Notre Dame of Reims and the commercial district with lots of shopping and restaurants. There is also a tourism center near the cathedral through which we found an excellent tour to some champagne houses.
Cons: Nothing in particular to complain about, everything was to acceptable standards.
7,5 Good
Pros: The room was clean. Breakfast was good
Cons: Lots of stairs to each floor. Bathroom was tiny. Room was very small.
8,3 Excellent
Pros: Excellent location.
Cons: Walking up four flights of stairs.
7,4 Good
Pros: The hotel was in a good location and well located for walking round Reims. The beds and room were generally ok but the hotel itself was in need of upgrading, For the price we paid we were happy with the hotel and would use again for overnight stay.
Cons: No lifts so had to carry bags up the stairs.
6,8 Good
Pros: Location was very good
Cons: Room very small. Beds on casters which moved. Room hot.
7,5 Good
Pros: Location and cleanliness
Cons: Very small room and bathroom, difficult to get out of shower, not enough electrical outlets
8,0 Excellent
Pros: Great hotel and an excellent location. The hotel is very clean and the staff were very welcoming. They gave us cold bottled water as the temperature outside was 35c. The room is very basic and probably could do with a refurb, however it was very comfortable. There is no air conditioning and in hot weather this is an issue, but up to around mid 20s you would be okay. There are two different carparks close by, the Cathedrale one would be better as it is more long stay parking but we couldn't use it as we had a roof box on the car. Reims is a lovely town and has plenty of restaurants and different shops.
Cons: I think that the hotel would benefit from air conditioning.
6,8 Good
Pros: Excellent location.
Cons: Room very small.
7,5 Good
Pros: Neat low-budget hotel.
Cons: It was hot outside (40*) and so was the room. Can't blame the hotel for a heatwave, but be warned.
6,8 Good
Pros: Bed was comfortable, linen was good quality. Shower worked well. Location is very good
Cons: Room was small and very stuffy/airless. Room was on top/4th floor and was very warm. A fan was provided but made little difference and neither did opening the windows even though it was quite cool outside. Bathroom was old fashioned
9,3 Excellent
Cons: Brilliant location , ideal to walk round Reims , Cathedral incredible and really close , underground parking near by or free on the street outside 19.00-9am , if lucky enough to get space , great find , room great for short stay
7,0 Good
Pros: The bed was comfortable.
Cons: A basic but comfortable room spoilt by the fact that some of the contents needed attention. I understand that the Hotel has been refurbished but the carpet had large black stains on it and the shelf in the shower room, along with the table in the bedroom, needed a good coat of paint.
6,0 Good
Pros: Friendly staff, good breakfast,
Cons: We were on the 4th floor, no lifts and 80 stairs. Wardrobe had no doors, small space and bathroom was very small. Heating was not very efficient, my wife found the room cold. Room was described as "superior double"
8,0 Excellent
Pros: Old but the coolest place ever!
5,3 Okay
Pros: One of the two double beds was comfy
Cons: The other bed was sunk in and loud
5,0 Okay
Pros: Very friendly staff, hotel is convienently located
Cons: extremely small room on first night, many smaller defects in room (things like lightbulps did not work)
6,3 Good
Pros: Great location to see the Cathedrale, convenient parking garage right behind the hotel. The best thing about this hotel may be it's convenient location to a small restaurant right down the street, Le Colibri, that we happened upon by chance. This was one of the best meals we had in France. Great service, fantastic food, nice atmosphere.
Cons: No elevator, so be prepared to carry your luggage up a narrow circular staircase, so pack light.
6,0 Good
Pros: Very good location, you can see cathedral over the window.
Cons: Noise of the street in the morning, smell in the room was not so good due to chemicals used for cleaning.
7,3 Good
Pros: Very pleasant staff. Two minutes from the Cathedral, very central location
Cons:
5,6 Okay
Pros: Location - the hotel hosts - breakfast
Cons: Somewhat outdatesd and wornout - in desperate need of renovation
7,2 Good
Pros: The hotel is very cosy, little but tidy and pretty. It is in a very nice position in the centre of the city with a very close parking. The couple that runs the hotel is very very kind and welcoming. I had my big german shepherd with me but we had no problems, we could stay in a very nice room together and no one complained of us. The breakfast was good, in a nice little restaurant room. I only spent one night whilst travelling by car from the uk to Italy and I had a lovely time. I would have spent there another night on my way back if there was a room available, but it was full on my return date. Overall, it was great.
Cons:

Pros: Situated close to the canal and a short walk from the cathedral it is well situated. The staff are very friendly & provide information about the city on first arrival. Parking is secure, though there are not many places. Beds are large and comfortable.
Cons: Breakfast is rather basic. The bathroom is pretty small & the shower is a bit dangerous with a slippery floor and no grab rail.
8,0 Excellent
Pros: Ibis runs an efficient and clean hotel in an excellent location at a reasonable price. There is secure parking at 11 Euro a day.
Cons: Not the warmest front desk folks. Parking can not be reserved in advance.
5,8 Okay
Pros: Good location, helpful bar staff.
Cons: Even though we booked a "standard Suite" hoping for a bit more space, the room was small and cramped with a large sofa bed. Air-conditioner was blowing directly onto the bed. Small window.
5,0 Okay
Pros: location.
Cons: Staff on reception extremely rude, tried to get me to pay after I had already paid before the trip. Breakfast area way to small and never got anywhere to sit. The rooms I did expect to be small but the rooms at this place are extremely small, barely any room to move if more than one person. Bar shut at 9pm.

Pros: It was ok. The bed was comfortable. Location good not far from downtown.
Cons: Could hear the neighbours next door coming in and out and coughing. No AC and it was hot. We had to wait to check in even though it said open at 2:45. Not very helpful. It was dirty and the shower drain was plugged and the curtain rod fell down. You get what you pay for. It was economical.

Pros: The location makes it easy to walk into the city centre
Cons: The rooms and facilities are basic but good value for the price paid.
9,0 Excellent
Pros: A well-equipped appartment at a good price, comfortable and spacious with everything organised well for our late arrival and needed self-check-in.

6,8 Good
Pros: Hotel in good location and most staff we're very friendly and helpful.
Cons: Despite the fact we were travelling with children the hotel gave us rooms on the first and third floors. As our daughters was ill she shared a room with us. Our son was on his own. At the end of our stay the owner accused us of having an extra child with us and threatened to charge an extra €10 per night. She was most disagreeable and did not apologise when her misunderstanding of the situation was explained.
8,0 Excellent
Pros: location
Cons: had some issues due to reception not being open, internet failed on last night there which caused problems for getting details for next day travel and accommodation, no one at reception to help with internet connection, Breakfast was advertised for 7.30, we had a 8.am taxi to train. When we came back at night there was a note at reception which was closed saying breakfast was now at 8.00am so we missed breakfast that we had paid for and reception had not opened before we left bed and pillows were not all that comfortable no lift so many stairs to climb each day and with luggage
9,5 Excellent
Pros: Great location - short walk from train station, close to cathedral and loads of nice restaurants a 5 min stroll away. We are a family of 6 (4 kids aged 11 - 19) and found the hotel great value - we had two triple rooms. Breakfast was great I a really pretty outdoor courtyard.
Cons: Was great!
7,5 Good
Pros: Amazing location Clean and served a purpose
Cons: It was very basic. Tea/coffee making facilities would have made it better, as would extra pillows.
8,0 Excellent
Pros: Small room, but clean & correct. Very friendly people. Appreciated was the possibility to have a private garage (payable). It was small, but managed to get the car in anyhow. Very good location. Close to city center, but still quiet area.
Cons: Very small bathroom and shower. No airco, and this would have been a real plus with over 30°C weather....
5,5 Okay
Pros: The location was great.
Cons: The fact that we had to pay for everything upfront before seeing the room or having breakfast - however, on seeing the size of the room and the smell of the bathroom, I think this was their only policy!
7,5 Good
Pros: Location is close to the train station, but you have to walk a bit to the city centre. A couple of nice little restaurants in the neighborhood. Staff is very helpful and friendly. Breakfast is basic, but OK. Not sure, if you find breakfast places in the close-by area.
Cons: No elevator, hard if you are on level 4. The hotel is physically closed between 12.30 and 14.00, so cannot leave luggage during that time. Room we had was small, but OK for one night.
7,0 Good
Pros: great location, close walk to most points of the city. Many restaurants nearby.
Cons: Breakfast in the hotel did not meet up with the promises of the host when she offered it at our check in. A bit surprisingly we had to pay everything in advance. Because she forgot to invoice one breakfast she just deduced it from my credit card without asking/telling me in advance, which I found very strange. Don't forget to book parking well in advance. The host gave a recommendation for a restaurant (and a voucher for an aperitif), however it seems that this restaurant is not one of the really best and most visited in the neighbourhood. Well, this was certainly our fault - being attracted by a free drink :-)
8,3 Excellent
Pros: Comfortable and clean and the staff were great
Cons: Room was small. Breakfast was ok
8,8 Excellent
Pros: Central location in the city, reasonable breakfast, friendly and helpful staff.
Cons: No lift, I had to walk up 3 floors, not a good choice for the elderly or infirm.

5,5 Okay
Pros: Receptionist was nice, changing the rooms wasn’t a problem at all. Was ok for one night even though I don’t think I’d choose it again.
Cons: The toilet of our room has definitely not been cleaned and smelt very very bad, which we said. We got a new room, no problem, with a correctly cleaned bathroom. The shower still wasn’t working great but it was ok. The walls are extremely thin, you could hear everything from the room next to, the one above, the corridor etc. ...
8,0 Excellent
Pros: Exellent location and host ... room as you can expect to the room rate
5,5 Okay
Pros: The staff, very helpfull
Cons: Unclean bed lining and location right next to a shopping precinct. The picture of the front of the hotel, very misleading
10,0 Excellent
Pros: A lovely find in the heart of Reims, the owners are very accommodating and made us very welcome. We will definitely be back!!
10,0 Excellent
Pros: what a lovely hotel, staff were very helpful & friendly, they showed me where to park my car then assisted my wife into the hotel as she had a broken knee cap. We had a lovely view over the square, plenty of shops and restaurants in walking distance. Will definately book again when travelling to Reims
8,3 Excellent
Pros: Location was good, short walk to center of town, tram, etc. Room was basic, but clean. Proprietor runs the restaurant downstairs, and is friendly and tries to provide what is needed.
Cons: Weather was quite warm so we had to leave window open, a fan would have been helpful.
8,8 Excellent
Pros: Easy to find - Approximately (a direct) 10 minutes walk from the front of the train station. Right in the heart of the town, the hotel is above (and part of) the Le Bon Moine café-bar. Simple check-in, no hassles. The rooms are very clean, and the ones on the corner of the property have a good view all the way up into the town centre. The café-bar downstairs serves good coffee. Would I stay here again?.. YES!
7,0 Good
Pros: The man who we dealt with was excellent and went out of his way to be helpful.
Cons: The room was very shabby. It was listed as a superior room but although clean the bathroom and toilet really needed replacing. Cracked basin with no plug for example.
9,3 Excellent
Pros: Fabulous location! The family room with bunk beds is great for kids. Per the norm, no AC and no elevator. A 3 minute walk to the pedestrian area and 5 to the cathedral. Easy parking nearby. The property manager is very kind, attentive, and helpful. He gave us a tip for the nightly light show at the cathedral, and we are so glad he did!
8,0 Excellent
Pros: Location was great.
Cons: Very small room, to be expected. Super small shower. Difficult to use.
