Pros: Great location, nice hotel, staff asked if we would like to have a newly renovated room with 2 queen beds instead of king room. We declined but the non renovated room was still a nice room. If you can include breakfast for an extra $10 take it. The cost at the restaurant for 2 people is about $50.

Cons: It was my Honeymoon and payment arrangement had been prearranged with a card and paper work on file for incidentals and for all charges to go to card on file. Confirmation was provided the information was updated, however; I had to use my card for incidentals at check in. It made the check in and check out process difficult. The process to make it a smooth check in for the bride and groom was a failure and do not understand why!!!

Cons: We stayed for New Years and they still closed the pool at 10. This is the one night a year y’all should keep the area open. People were relaxing and visiting and wanted to ring in the new year from the best pool and view in Houston but no y’all closed it and people had to watch the fire works from their rooms...no fun!! We will reconsider for a different New Years place next year. For the price we paid not happy about this at all!!

Cons: This hotel is located in a very dangerous part of town. Do not stay here!! We were afraid to go out at night. If you don't mind potentially being car jacked, robbed, raped, or murdered, then by all means book it. Definitely not worth the $300 I paid for 2 nights. As a single woman with a small child, I wished I would have been more informed. Please be safe and book elsewhere.

Cons: First, to start with, you had to pay $30 dollars extra for a valet service at the hotel, I wasn’t offered free parking, the lady working as valet was very rough, really a first bad impression of the hotel, next, the restaurant was closed due, to some funeral service, the next day at checkout, the problem with valet keep going on!! The lady ask me for a copy of my receipt, when actually the front desk lady send the copy to my email and I was told I won’t be getting the car until she could see a hard copy, so I had to walked in to the front desk, only to go back out and were told the valet wasn’t charged at my receipt and that I had to go back inside I pay for it! At this point the front lady told me, she will take the receipt to get my car, really awfully service from the valet parking, and we where told it was a third party company offering this service!!!

Cons: First room I had the tv was on when I walked in for the first time, and it smelled of body odor, and it looked as if someone had just been in there moments before. I called the front desk, they assured me nobody else was in that room alread and offered and promptly responded by providing me with a new room. The second room smelled clean, looked spotless.

Cons: Valet a little pricey. Did not end up leaving my car overnight so they charged me daily rate instead of over night rate. Although my car was literally parked to drop off my bags and change and then again to get my bags the next morning. So probably a combined hour of parking. But they were all really nice and helpful in changing it from the overnight rate to the daily rate.

Pros: I went to Houston to attend the Houston Marathon, so I decided to stay in downtown to be at walking distance from start/finish points. I could not have chosen a better place to stay at a reasonable price for a night stay than at Club Quarters. Great hotel, great location, close by good restaurants and walking distances to the Convention Center. Hotel staff was super courteous upon my arrival, by automatically providing me a room upgrade (since the room originally booked not been available yet) and also to accommodate a request for a late check out. Very clean room with all the amenities I needed for that quick stay.

Cons: I requested early check in and did not receive a reply, so I thought okay I’ll just go in early cause they won’t really make me wait until 3pm for check in. I came in and she said my room wasn’t ready yet, so I go to wait and wait for nearly 4 hours during that time staff looks at me and knows I am waiting. When I finally go up to check in she implies my room had been ready for a while and that I should have come up to ask, interrupts me when I try to speak and then charges me a fee they did not tell me the cost of.

Cons: The incidental fee is unnecessary in my opinion and should be on a case by case basis. Maybe have guests pay for snacks and other extras when they get them or include the fee in your total price and/ or state what that will cost so there will be no surprises. I have my budget planned out when I travel and I don't like to see an added amount on my statement that stays there for a week AFTER my trip is over! I don't have a car so no parking, I eat at other places or better still I bring something to prepare as it is a Residence Inn with a kitchen.
