Cons: I was really surprised that there were no fans in the bathroom.

Cons: Reading online that this hotel had a remodel in 2011, I wasn't expecting it to be perfect and pristine, but it was even less than I expected. The carpets coming off the elevator to our floor were stained and looked dirty. Entering the room, everything looked ok, but there was a definite smell to the room. Not overpowering, but not good either. Kind of musty/humid/moldy smelling. The tv was on a dresser not facing the bed, or any of the chairs in the room, so I'm not sure how one is supposed to view it. We were there for one night before our appointment at the MDAnderson Cancer Center, and though we will be making many trips there over the next few years, I'm not sure we will stay at this hotel again. For the price ($156 after taxes), I was expecting better.

Cons: It was close to a homeless shelter and walking around at night didn't feel safe

Cons: Paint on walls were bubbled and messy. Cords carelessly stretched around the room looking disorganized. Bathroom needed refinishing, caulk was black and just seemed dirty.

Cons: Did not get reimbursed my last night from early check out. Unacceptable

Cons: Double queen size bed room is book but it's not available while checkin

Cons: Bathroom too small, too old. Coffee machine cheap, awful.

Cons: The agency ( Kayak ) didnot my reservation to the hotel i was stuck for 4 hours with no solution , later on I got email with refund.

Cons: There was no ramp for my rolling luggage between the parking garage and the hotel elevator. This, however, was a minor inconvenience.

Cons: Manager was hot/cold. Our expedia reservation was ow to co.e thru so we went for dinner. We asked if they would honor the rate for a second room and the manager said sure and then proceeded to put tax on top of the all inclusive rate I asked him to match. It was only $22 but still it was not what the rate was. At this point the manager intisted on staring me down to get me to praise and agree with him that he was doing me a major favor. Are we iin 3rd grade and he is my teacher? Really? I should have walked out but we were exhausted from Bush was travel as I was just returning on a pit stop from ASIA. We checked out the next morning from this under co struction hotel and stayed at Marriot the balance of the week for business. Guess customer first is something of a scarce commodity here at the top level mtg. Underlings were actually fabulous surprisingly. Bottom line - overpriced for what you get compared to elsewhere.

Cons: Everything had a tagged-on extra charge to it, including delivery charges for room service. What is the alternative - pick up from kitchen? Breakfast costs $30, which makes no sense for a continental buffet in a hotel.

Cons: The attitude, mentality and character of the Concierge.

Cons: ZaZa has changed. You will find lots of drunk business men at the bar and hookers. Not fun when you travel alone for business and art. The staff seems to be more occupied with themselves then you.

Cons: The staff was not well organized and not attentive. The decor was disappointing after having stayed at the Dallas ZaZa.

Cons: Houston sun is hot and our AC struggled in the afternoon sun. We even had it looked at but it didn't seem to help. Blackout curtains do keep light out but evidently not the heat. Still the view was spectacular from 8th floor.

Cons: The front desk staff is really underwhelming. The hotel is so dated and in need of a MAJOR renovation.

Cons: Facilities are a little dated. Had to go outside to get to the fitness center. Normally not a problem In sunny Houston but it was raining during my stay. Also the fitness center could only be accessed through the main lobby?

Cons: Fire alarm kept going off Saturday night. Security said that a guest was taking a shower and opened the bathroom door and the steam set off the alarm. That doesn't make any sense since people open steamy bathroom doors all the time to cool down after a hot shower. It was a very stressful, terrifying, sleepless night. Never again!

Cons: I would recommend a different scent for the shampoo/conditioner/body wash. Both my boyfriend and I smelled strongly of coconuts and wanted something less overpowering.

Cons: First night my stay , my room # 504 was close to sport and swimming area ,and all night when people were using the room , the sound of the door was annoying and I could not sleep well , so next day morning I asked the reception to change my room and she did it immidiately to # 704 , and second night of stay was ok .

Cons: slow wifi, tight parking garage thats a bit more expensive than i would expect for a place with no security guard, barely any room to actually park your vehicle, no free breakfast.

Cons: Upstairs lounge was closed for weekend. Would have been nice if the staff had told me of that prior to charging me at checkin. Room is small.

Cons: Fairly high parking fees, though perhaps reasonable for this location.

Cons: The breakfast buffet, for the price, I thought, was limited nor did I think the quality of the food reflected the otherwise high quality of the hotel. My bathroom was small although functional.
