Cons: No iron and iron board in the room which is awkward. The iron room had the iron board mounted against the wall so very difficult to iron a shirt which did not work well.

Pros: Modern, artsy hip hotel in a great location in geneva. Everything is new, great breakfast, nice bar, comfortable room and excellent large bathroom especially for geneva hotels. Great price compared to other hotels in the area. Very close to tram to get around to meetings and downtown. Two blocks from lake and walking to city center. Definitely my new place to stay while in geneva.

Pros: We knew from the moment we entered the hotel, that we were going to enjoy our stay at Hotel N'vy. The staff were incredibly welcoming and made the check-in process as simple as possible. I loved the modern features of the room, from the lighting to the bathroom. We had a very well stocked mini bar full of good quality spirits, wine and soft drinks - as well as snacks. My sister and I both really enjoyed the buffet breakfast in the morning. I personally found the hotel to be great value for money for Geneva and is deserving of 5 stars. The overall ambiance of the hotel was lovely and I would definitely like to return.

Cons: They didn't give me my booked room and relocated me to another hotel instead. They offered to cover the cost of the night due to this unfortunate event and afterwards they stood down their original offer and refused to refund the money I paid for the room in advance.

Cons: The double bed was actually made of two separate mattresses which created a very uncomfortable strip in the middle.

Pros: The hotel was well located, walking distance to the main train station, and close to lots of walking and tourist areas. They give you a free transit pass for all buses and trams, and the hotel steps from a tram station. Friendly and helpful staff. Clean and organized rooms.
Cons: Location is also close to a local red light district, so some of the surrounding areas are a bit seedy, but seedy Geneva is a clean neighborhood in most other cities. Room climate control was not adjustable and room was just too hot in the winter.

Pros: Was a solo traveler. Arrived via a bus from the airport (FREE!!). Bus stop is 2 blocks away from the hotel. It's more a residential neighborhood. A great value for the money. It was clean - hardwood floors throughout. Had the best hair dryer ever! Access to the city center was convenient - a few Tram stops away with the Tram stop being about 2 blocks away from the hotel. Staff was very friendly and accommodating. McDonald's, a bakery, and a convenient store is about 2 to 3 blocks away, so you have access to quick bites.
Cons: Breakfast buffet/full breakfast is expensive (or normal by Geneva standards - I believe approx. 30 CHF). It's not exactly "city center" - you have to take a Tram or the bus to get to the city center; definitely not within walking distance (you can get there about 30 min walking). The beds are hard, but clean linens.

Pros: I think the staff of a business really makes or breaks it. in this case the reception staff were amazing! they checked us in quickly. provided us with a baby cot when we had forgotten to ask for one. gave us directions to the lake and fountain. even gave us free passes to use the public transport. very nice room and the bathrobes were a touch of class
Cons: food service is a little bit limited, as you can only order domino's pizza (which are a little bit expensive. CHF 35)

Pros: Great location and very courteous staff. The "Churchill" motif is quaint and the room spacious (we stayed in the Ceasar room). A block away from lake Geneva and the water jet. A couple blocks from a lively bar scene (recommend the Little Barrel).
Cons: The ameneties are dated and the joined twin bed we were given would split halfway through the night. Not romantic. Shower was also one of those typical European showers where it's just a hose with attached shower head.

Pros: I loved the staff, their friendliness and willingness to help. It is clean and well kept and cozy. They had umbrellas for you to borrow which was great since it rained all day while I was there and I was unprepared.
Cons: It is rather small, so not good for multiple people and the beds are not the most comfortable but they served it's purpose.
