Room was on first floor : Very good sound insulation from street noise.
The double bed was actually made of two separate mattresses which created a very uncomfortable strip in the middle.
They didn't give me my booked room and relocated me to another hotel instead. They offered to cover the cost of the night due to this unfortunate event and afterwards they stood down their original offer and refused to refund the money I paid for the room in advance.
Due to the inclement weather we chose to book our evening meal in the Hotel restaurant only to be told after booking they were serving a limited snack menu which was prepared/served very badly...not good enough for a Hotel of this standard.
Nice furniture, quiet.
Very small room.
nice placement, nice breakfast
as for Geneva - no russian tv channels seems at least strange (RTVI is not russian channel) guess management should switch to 1st channel (ORT). Windows in room was weack - sounds like trucks are passing through the room.
the staff was very friendly and was quick to response to problems
1) our room was in the non-smoking floor but contrary to the fact that when we entered the first nite - it strongly smelled cigarettes. the room spray and the scent didnt really kill the smell that nite. Furthermore, we had a family room that is located by the corner facing the station - it was so noisy
The hotel is literally next to the train station. We booked a family room, which turned out to be 2 adjoining rooms with 2 bathrooms, rather than a big family room or 2 connecting rooms. Our children were old enough that this turned out fine for us, but those with young children should be aware of this.
that the breakfast not incloded with the price of the money
i ask to clean the room from mosketo but came light to clean the rooms and i ask about the A/C not coold
Amazing view of the lake and mountains from our 6th floor room. Easy access to transportation.
The position was excellent and we particularly appreciated the free pass to all Geneva public transport.
There was a very noisy conference group during our stay who congregated outside our room near the lifts on the 4th floor in the early hours of the morning. The action taken to address our complaint was slow and ineffective.
