9,6 Excellent
Pros: Little gem! This place is literally 10 mins by foot to the center. Spotlessly clean, convenient and the rooms smell just amazing. Superb value for money. The hosts are equally amazing. Will def return.
Cons: Nothing at all
10,0 Excellent
Pros: Everything, Guido and Maria are the best hosts we have come across and nothing was too much (we didnt have too much to ask- they go hand in hand). The breakfast was excellent and the room was kept to a very high standard. The location was a 15 minute (ish) walk into the city centre which was perfect after a big breakfast/walking back after a big dinner.
Cons: For me, the bed left me with a sore back in the morning but that is usual for a different mattress. A couple of the pillows were in need of replacing too. The shower was immaculate up until the shower head, which was loose and just seemed out of place. These are all minor, minor details and shouldn't be examined too closely.
9,0 Excellent
Pros: Worth House is like a Tardis, much bigger on the inside. We did not expect this. ;-)
Cons: All OK
10,0 Excellent
Pros: Perfect place to stay after a day of shopping and sightseeing Cambridge. Both Guido and Maria were very welcoming and helpful. The room was very comfortable and spacious with lots of thoughtful extras. Breakfast was great with a wide choice on offet. Thank you both. My sisters and I will definitely be back.
10,0 Excellent
Pros: Great breakfast freshly cooked by Maria, perfect poached eggs, superb hosts, guido is very funny. Would definitely use again and would recommend
Cons: Nothing
10,0 Excellent
Pros: I couldn't have breakfast but Guido gave me sandwich bags to make a takeaway breakfast. What a guy! What a service! I liked everything from their contact before my stay, the service during my stay and the product, the slippers/gown topped by the excellent location! I really can't fault it.
Cons: Nada.
9,0 Excellent
Pros: Location was fine for us as we are active walkers, it is around 10 to 15 minutes to the centre. The breakfast choice and quality was superb. The room was clean, large and very nicely decorated with great shower and bath. Absolutely no complaints and the hosts are a lovely couple
Cons: Nothing to flag.
8,0 Excellent
Pros: Pleasing decor and standard of accomodation. Excellent customer care.

10,0 Excellent
Pros: A cozy little room, all you need to stay for the night. Clean and quiet. You can leave your car, friendly and hospitable hosts. The breakfast was delicious. There was a feeling of home. Thanks for the hospitality.
9,6 Excellent
Pros: The staff was extremely friendly and accomodating. The common room was friendly, the food amazing, the rooms where clean and comfortable, towels changed daily, and beds turned down daily. The greatest proof of the friendly staff came from a couple who where going to the same wedding as us. Their plane was delayed, and so they got in in the middle of the night. Instead of making this a negative thing, they owner/manager was concerned that they shouldnt have to get up early for breakfast (served til 9 on the weekends) and asked them if they wanted some sandwiches made for them to pick up when they woke up. This customer service seemed to run lik the lifeblood of this B&B. Great value and great service.
Cons: The only thing that would have made the stay better, would have been if the bed was 10 cm broader. But I'm a big guy, so I cant fault them for that.
8,0 Excellent
Pros: Breakfast great, owners lovely people
9,0 Excellent
Pros: Emma and family were so lovely and very welcoming. A great breakfast in the morning too! Nothing was too much trouble; would 100% stay again :)
10,0 Excellent
Pros: The hosts were exceptional and extremely flexible to our needs. We had a great stay with Emma and Duncan and can't thank them enough because they made it very relaxing for us. Breakfast was amazing too, Duncan cooked us a full English which was delicious, but if you wan't anything else, they have it all. If we go back, we will definitely return to Emma and Duncan. :)

Cons: Nothing at all, wouldn’t change a single thing.

Cons: Evening meal was disappointing and overpriced for the quality of the food provided, also very slow getting drinks etc. Breakfast service was extremely impersonal and staff seemed more bothered about cleaning and relaying tables than serving their paying guests.

Pros: Staff were very helpful and polite. Food was excellent.
6,5 Good
Pros: I was held up for three hours in Customs at Heathrow and advised staff that I would not make the first night of a four night stay. They were not helpful in assisting me in finding another Hilton. I specifically was told by the clerk on check out that I would not be charged for the missed night, but discovered that indeed I have been charged and I am writing sepaerately for a refund. Staff in the bar treated me like a vagrant beaucse my room was not ready and I only had casual clothes. It was only when I put my expensive suit on that I received decent service.

Pros: Great place, it is just outside the town, with lots of green around and animals pasturing, sheeps and ponyes, I was alone but next time I have a child around I will stay there.
Cons: Only problem is that it is difficult to reach without a car, it may be an advantage if you want a discreet place.

Cons: Bathroom broken towel rail. Very small room. Towels very thin.

Cons: Breakfast at £13 is extortionate.
6,0 Good
Pros: The room was fine but the bed to my taste was very hard, The coffee and tea facilities were fine except that the hot chocolate sachets had been opened. The breakfast was very good but then it should have been for £13 each. The gardens were attractive.
Cons: Could have had a small fridge in room for water etc, Breakfast could have offered a cooked selection for the price.

9,0 Excellent
Pros: Breakfast, room all fine. Wonderful location and grounds. Would definitely rebook if in the area again.
Cons: Bed - we both found the mattress uncomfortable and woke with backache both mornings which thankfully wore off quickly.
9,0 Excellent
Pros: The most stunning location, set in large and beautiful grounds. The building itself is an incredible landmark, and houses Cambridge University’s Further Education facility as well as accommodation. The room was warm and comfortable with lovely views, but the real draw of Madingley Hall is the architecture of the Hall itself and the beauty of the surrounding area. Highly recommended for a weekend away. There’s also a really excellent pub metres from the main gate, The Three Horseshoes, for dinner.
7,0 Good
Pros: Breakfast excellent. We did not eat in, we had a function elsewhere.
Cons: The double bed was extremely uncomfortable. We have stayed here at least six times and not had the problem before. The room was cold, rectified by the staff rapidly providing a portable heater.
7,5 Good
Pros: Good value good location nice and clean.
Cons: Nothing to fislike
9,0 Excellent
Pros: Buffet breakfast with a vast selection of hot and cold foods, great choice.
Cons: Room was a little on the chilly side but there was an electric fan heater to boost the temperature so not a major issue
4,4 Okay
Pros: Impressive exterior to the building and well meaning staff The breakfast was hot well cook and hot plates so the food did not go cold
Cons: No restaurant facilities in the evening - the only offerring was a bar menu of jacket potatoes, pasty or sandwiches. The 'chef' was stopping work at 8.00 pm presumably health and safety were worried about potential microwave overdose. No facilities, other than a bar which had no background music, no tv and no sky sports - all requirements for a business traveller, hence no customers. We popped in to the bar a 6.30 before going to a meeting and returned aat 9.15 - there had been no custom between those hours and there were no other clients until we left at 10.15 Breakfast was on long tables not separate tables and no table service

7,0 Good
Pros: It was warm, decent sized room, easy parking
Cons: No coat hooks in the room, someone stole my food from the communal fridge
3,0 Mediocre
Pros: Kitchen was nice and room was newly decorated
Cons: Room was freezing cold both nights. I emailed the owners twice after the first night to sort this, they responded that they had and the room was still freezing cold on my second night. Radiator did not stay on for more than a few minutes at a time
8,8 Excellent
Pros: Room was immaculate and the decor was very pretty and trendy. I liked the small touch of the chocolates on the bed.
Cons: It would have been nice if there was a maintenance point of call on site. Somebody to call or speak to regarding any issues. I also didn't like that the keypad kept randomly making noises.
9,2 Excellent
Pros: Feeling stay as in my own home
Cons: Excellent atmosphere like home
9,0 Excellent
Pros: Clean room, convenient location and kind host~
Cons: No
8,3 Excellent
Pros: Very nice accommodation, clean, comfortable bed, good shower. The common area was well appointed, it's nice to be able to keep foid/drink cool in a fridge. Netflix was a great bonus. Location was ideal for us, a 20 minute walk to the outskirts of Cambridge. I think we may be back again.
Cons: There was no control of the heating in the room, so it did get cold at times. There's was a "boost" option on the radiator but this was inadequate. Our room was near the common area and it did get noisy. A door on the passageway to the rooms would probably have done the trick.

Cons: liked everything
9,6 Excellent
Pros: Lovely Yorkshire lass behind the bar was soooo lovely, really welcoming from the moment we stepped in the pub. Food and beers were great. We stayed the night and ate both evening meal and breakfast there.
Cons: The bed was a fantastic size but moved about when you moved. It was reasonably noisy too. But room presentation was good. Bathroom was a little tired.
7,0 Good
Pros: Spacious rooms, Dog friendly and ground floor level and easy access to outside. Situated away from road in a pretty village Breakfast , limited choice, but full breakfast cooked well
Cons: Toiletries were very basic, like in a Travelodge. Room 1 had a drains smell and toilet (water system?) made a noise like a fog horn. Evening meal very disappointing. Cutlery just plonked on the table. Tough meat and not particularly well presented. Shame as breakfast service, and food, was good. As a result , didn’t think it warranted the price paid for accommodation and food
5,4 Okay
Cons: No usb for charging no toilet roll holder in bathroom at breakfast no. Fresh fruit salad no jogurt pub generally understaffed
5,0 Okay
Pros: The room was lovely and warm. The bar was cosy & the evening meal was good. The staff were reasonably freindly.
Cons: The breakfast was awful and looked like it had been cooked a week ago. I thought the room was very expensive £170 a night....

Pros: Dawn was a fabulous host, we turned up before check in and she was more than happy to accommodate us. We had a key to access the guest wing so we're free to come and go as we pleased. Breakfast was delicious - perfectly cooked poached egg and bacon. We felt hugely relaxed here and will definitely be staying again when we're next in the area.

Pros: Thought the choice and quality of breakfast menu were excellent, and the staff were very attentive. Could not fault it.
Cons: Humming noise heard in Room 15’ which apparently came from refrigeration unit. However on speaking to chap at reception we were offered a choice of other rooms which we accepted. He could not have been more helpful in sorting out our concern in getting a good night’s sleep.

9,6 Excellent
Pros: It was comfortable, clean and there was lots of information about its history which we enjoyed. Staff were friendly and helpful, beds were comfy. Evening meal was excellent. We came to see the cathedral and go to Sunday services so we were very pleased with the location.
Cons: Breakfast menu was varied but the cooked food was overcooked and dry. Eggs all hardboiled on our table and eggs benedict sauce was not runny! We opted for waffles the next morning but they were hard too.
