Graduate by Hilton Cambridge

All the rooms at the Graduate Cambridge are designed and decorated with the same styles and themes that run throughout the hotel, so you’ll be able to experience cosy comfort no matter which room you choose. The Gradate Double or Graduate Twin rooms are reasonably priced options that sleep two people. These rooms have a bathroom en suite and have a work station available. The rooms are decorated to feel like they are part of Cambridge’s rich academic history, and this can be seen in the soft furnishings and the finishings in the bathrooms.

If you don’t have any other meals at the hotel, one thing you should definitely consider is treating yourself to a traditional Afternoon Tea in the hotel’s garden room. In the good weather, you can enjoy your tea outside on the patio on the banks of the River Cam or can have an equally quintessential dining experience inside the tearoom, which is decorated with muted tones and floral patterns. The set menu contains a mixture of freshly prepared savoury and sweet snacks, along with a selection of teas. You can add a glass of sparkling wine to the meal to round it all off.

The Garden Bar, with its oval bar counter that stretches the length of the room, and the cosy lounge space are a key drawcard for guests at Graduate Cambridge. In the summer months, you can also take advantage of the seating in the garden. The bar is open from 12 noon until late and is open to both hotel guests and the public. There is a snack menu that compliments the wide range of classic and signature cocktails, wines, and beers that are on offer. Tea and coffee are also served in the Garden Bar.

The Graduate Cambridge has an on-site gym that is free for all hotel guests. The Cambridge Leisure Club has 10 m long swimming pool that offers adult only swimming times between 6.30 am and 10:00 and then again between 18:00 and 21:30. Kids are free to swim between 10:00 and 18:00. There is also a state-of-the-art gymnasium, which is stocked with free weights and cardio equipment, and you can book sessions with a personal trainer. After training, you will be able to relax in the sauna, steam room, or hot tub.

As the Graduate Cambridge is located on the banks of the River Cam, it would make sense to take advantage of one of the activities for which Cambridge is famous. The hotel has an agreement with a company that runs punting tours along the river. Book a package that includes one night at the hotel and two tickets for a traditional punting tour along the river. You can also book a bus sightseeing tour of Cambridge through the hotel.
