8,3 Excellent
Pros: We loved our stay in Cork & wished we could have stayed longer. The Manor was beautiful, excellent customer service & we were even welcomed with a lovely Irish whiskey on arrival whilst checking in. The room was very nice & spacious.
Cons: We loved our stay but if we had to change one thing it would be the shower over the bath. A walk in shower would be much better.
10,0 Excellent
Pros: Hayfield Manor was a great place to escape too. Their restaurants were delicious! The spa and jacuzzi area were very relaxing. The room was quite spacious and clean. The bed was comfortable and bathroom was clean. The staff was super friendly and kind.
9,7 Excellent
Pros: Old world charm and very polite staff
10,0 Excellent
Pros: We stayed for New Year and I genuinely could not have made a better decision than for us to attend the gala. It was the loveliest even either of us has ever attended. We bought a floor length dress and a three piece suit and tie for the occasion and were not disappointed. We even had to send my dress last minute to the cleaners to be steam pressed and the staff got it back on time for us to attend the gala without rushing. After champagne and chatting at first, we all made our way to our assigned large round table. We sat with 4 other couples from all over the world. The dinner and dessert were lavish and the conversation was thrilling. The service was incredible. After we ate we followed our new friends to the lounge for swing jazz, dancing, a champagne toast and a wonderful send off to the new year. I truly had the time of my life. The next day we woke up exhausted and a bit hungover so we stayed in. A bubble bath in the beautiful clawfoot tub, a hot cup of peppermint tea, room service meals and a Law and Order marathon was just what the doctor ordered. We cannot say enough good things about Hayfield. Our sincerest thanks to Claire and the rest of the staff for making New Year 2020 the best of our lives so far.
Cons: Hayfield Manor provided perhaps the most exceptional experience in a hotel we have ever had.
10,0 Excellent
Pros: Fabulous location. very central. The breakfast was disappointing ,the single sausage seemed like it had been cooked ages before.
Cons: More information on arrival on facilities in hotel
6,0 Good
Pros: Facilities
Cons: The hotel is hard to find. Even the GPS struggled to get us there. Old world atmosphere, with some unusual and welcome additions; a bottle of whisky at the reception desk to parch the thirst and ease the frustration of locating the place. Another fun touch, a putter and play practice green in the room. It is a nice place but would I stay there again? probably not. It's the little things that matter in a hotel and the dinning reception left us cold. We made dinner reservations and showed up on time, appropriately dressed, only to be kept waiting while others streamed by, were welcomed, and seated. Eventually,We were placed in a back room at what must have been the worst table in the place, center stage, traffic area in a room surrounded by cozy booths. The Food and service excellent, but the second rate treatment left a bad taste. So we move on, to a better experience somewhere else.
10,0 Excellent
Pros: The rooms were beautiful, clean, and spacious. We arrived early, got a room quickly, and even were upgraded to a suite just like that. The staff treated us like queens and kings, making us feel like part of their family. Everyone was cheerful and helpful during our stay, and the bartenders were eager to talk about local places to see and shop at. A highlight indeed for our Ireland trip.

9,2 Excellent
Pros: We booked late in the day but we were expected .. even though we arrived much later than planned. Breakfast was plentiful and delicious. We ordered what we wanted — pancakes and bananas were great. We enjoyed our chat with the owner in the morning. He gave us wonderful tips and ideas for cork but we were just passing through since we arrived so late. Room was comfy and was given a choice of rooms. Great location! Had parking. Close to the market. Would stay again.
Cons: A little better lighting in room for reading . Would have loved real maple syrup with the awesome pancakes — went to so much effort to make them home made and little disappointed to top them with something so unworthy. It’s the added effort that makes a statement and memory. Too much bread offered before the meal. Hated to waste it.
5,1 Okay
Pros: The breakfast was good.
Cons: When I arrived, the owner claimed he did not receive the fax advising of my reservation for a double room. He first sent me to a twin room which had little space. After complaining, he moved me to a room with two twin beds and said he would push them together. He did not do that. Overall I was unimpressed with the accommodations.

Pros: The host was very obliging and did what he could to assist. House was charming and we had a lovely appointed room. Beds were comfortable.
Cons: Parking a bit tricky if you want to leave early and are blocked in. Breakfast took a while as host had to manage all the guests. TV did not work and shower not hot in morning. Host happy to rectify but only had one night stay.

9,4 Excellent
Pros: While the wait staff (excluding the bar staff) were rather helpful, the one working elevator was slow, the spa did not have any openings, and we received a 3am wake up call that we did not authorize. For a luxury hotel, they have some work to do.
10,0 Excellent
Pros: The Kingsley was a great place to settle down In Cork. The staff were professional and took pride in their work. The rooms were nice and clean. My wife and I really enjoyed our stay.
Cons: I didn't mind this actually but the Kingsley is about a 15-20 minute walk to the city center. You could take a cab or walk it. The reason i didn't mind was because it was far enough away that you weren't surrounded by the noise.

Pros: Everything! I wonder why it's just 4 star? Clearly 5 star service.
5,7 Okay
Pros: Location and cleanliness, except for being a smoking room, of the hotel are very good.
Cons: We had to book online at the last minute. Booked 3 rooms for 3 adult family couples. When we got there we realized with the rooms given, no way to tell online, we could get away with 2 rooms as they were big rooms. We asked to change and weren't allowed because of the online booking. Also one day of the rooms assigned was a smoking room that smelled very strongly of cigarettes, again asked to change and weren't allowed to. Rooms were quite pricey as well, the most expensive night on our 2 week vacation was at this hotel. Had breakfast the next morning and one room came with breakfast, no idea why?
9,7 Excellent
Cons: Great overall. Slow service in lobby area for the lobby menu was only complaint.
