Pros: Rooms were lovely. Great views of the Pyramids from some rooms.
Cons: We stayed there twice...on our way to and from a Nile cruise. First stay was not as sorted out as our return visit. Rooms are fine, staff is trying hard, but there were too many glitches for a 5 star hotel. Room not ready where we got there...dining options were very limited and specific and a connected Mall is not my idea of a reasonable choice.Concierge service was spotty. We asked about visiting specific places, were very clear about what we wanted and when we got there, it was closed. Call ahead? Car service and guides arranged by the hotel were perfect. Lucky thing, as the traffic in Cairo means an hour ride to get anywhere.Packed lunches and to go breakfasts were great.

8,8 Excellent
Pros: The views are priceless. Having breakfast every morning with the pyramids and Sphinx right in your front yard was beyond words. The staff were super friendly and went beyond the standard to make our stay enjoyable. The host Kamel went above and beyond to see that we had everything we needed and gave our kids little gifts that made them feel special. The bottomless supply of falafel was quite nice too
Cons: One of our rooms was remodeled and really nice but the other room was well aged and needs updating. But that’s it
10,0 Excellent
Pros: The staff is so friendly and accommodating. We felt very taken care of and had lovely meals atop the rooftop terrace. It was a dream being so close to the pyramids! Great for a two night stay to visit the pyramids before/after the tour buses arrive.
Cons: It was a little hard to sleep at night from the street noise. However, the staff communicated this in advance so we were prepared with earplugs.
9,0 Excellent
Pros: Our stay was awesome. The staff is friendly and always happy to help. The beds are really comfortable and the location is amazing. However, the best thing is the rooftop terrace! The property is located just in front of the Sphinx and the 3 pyramids. The view was unforgettable!
9,0 Excellent
Pros: The location, breakfast and friendly behaviour
Cons: Dinner
4,6 Okay
Cons: Room with the Pyramids was very small, on the second floor, small windows obstructed by the roof of the houses across the street, very decent breakfast, staff was very helpful. Too expensive for that kind of room and facilities.
10,0 Excellent
Pros: Absolutely outstanding in every area!
8,0 Excellent
Pros: The view of the pyramids was amazing and the location to the entrance of the pyramids was perfect, only a 60 second walk from the front door if that. The staff at the hotel were very friendly and helpful, they told me the correct(real) prices for camels/horse cart inside the pyramid so i didnt get ripped off.
Cons: nothing
9,7 Excellent
Pros: The staff was so friendly and accommodating. The view from the rooftop was the best in Giza. Directly across the street from the sphinx and pyramids. The staff make you feel like family.
Cons: Dogs barking loudly during the night but I was given earplugs.
9,0 Excellent
Pros: We really enjoyed pretty much everything about this little inn. It's definitely a different experience than staying at a chain hotel and we honestly wouldn't have changed if we were to do it all again! The offered breakfast was so much more than we thought it would be! It was a great mix of hummus, yogurts, breads, eggs, etc. Hit the spot as far as we were concerned and was included, which was all the better. They went above and beyond and made us a "to-go" breakfast for the day of our departure at 3am, which was instrumental since not much was open at the Cairo airport yet!! Location can't be beat in terms of the view. You really are right across the street from the pyramid complex. You can easily hear the light show, which is great when you want to hear it, but not as great if you are trying to sleep early. I definitely used the provided ear plugs, which made everything OK in my book! These folks definitely know their location's pro's and con's and have set up the establishment to try and maximize your stay within reason! The whole staff was so friendly! They even provided us with a hotspot to help us out as the WiFi was really not working well. They always asked about our day and what we saw and more than once helped us out with getting price cuts or just finding the right answer to things. It was awesome to see every age bracket helping as well. It really felt like we were just staying with family. They would remember what you told them about your itinerary and offered tips wherever possible. Side note - the portions on their lunch/dinner menu were huge for us. We probably could have just ordered one thing and split it :).
Cons: While not deal breakers at all for us, our sliding door to our balcony was not able to lock. Given it was on the top floor, we weren't worried about anyone climbing in, but still was unfortunate as it might have helped more with noise if it closed all the way. You can tell that they've tried to fix it a few times, so I'm inclined to think they're working on it. We did not complain or anything as it didn't bother us, but it is worth pointing out as an observation. Also, we had quite a few ants in the various corners of the room (again did not report as there was likely nothing that could be done and they weren't walking all over the room or climbing furniture). As a result, we don't think it was a cleanliness issue. Given the streets around the pyramids have quite a bit of litter, it's just the perfect setup for little bugs to want to be around. I DO NOT subtract it from the cleanliness of the room in any way as our room was spotless and well kept! However, I had to give a 9 instead of a 10 because these two things kept it from being flawless.
8,2 Excellent
Pros: The view of the Pyramids/Sphinx is amazing. You are able to witness the nightly "sight and sounds" show, without the price of admission. Additionally, the staff is the greattest. Tito and Kamal made themselves available to assist the us at any hour. And, they made sure that we had a good time while there.
Cons: There are some things we did not like. The view, however, warrants that I don't need to mention those minor issues.

10,0 Excellent
Pros: Everything was perfect, staff are amazingly friendly, food is excellent expect the Italian restaurant. The view is breathtaking.
Cons: Rooms should have heating system in winter. The window doesn't block the noise. The italian restaurant isn't italian.
10,0 Excellent
Pros: The Hotel is located just walking distance from the ticket office of the Great Pyramids. The tranquil campus of the hotel gives you a pleasing vibe. The breakfast options are vast and the staff are very professional and helpful. The view of the pyramids while having your breakfast is just breaktaking.
Cons: The Indian restaurant - Mogul room is bit too hyped, the food is OK and is very pricey.
10,0 Excellent
Pros: My wife and I made the reservation in this hotel not knowing the story, only reviews online. To our surprise, since day one we were in love with everything. The story is fascinated, everyone in the hotel made us feel like a queen and king. Top service, friendly staff and a wonderful experience.
Cons: Breakfast box we ordered one morning in the morning was really cheap.
1,0 Poor
Cons: Worst management ever, rude staff, extremely ill mannered and unprofessional staff members
10,0 Excellent
Pros: Right next to the pyramids!
8,0 Excellent
Pros: The views of the pyramids while having breakfast, lunch or dinner were stunning, day and night. The grounds were gorgeous - lush gardens, water pools etc.
Cons: Don't go in the winter season. After 5 phone calls to the assistant manager, guest services rep etc. and 2 visits from electricians, the room remained cold and only cold air poured into the room. When the temperature outside is 8 degrees, this is unacceptable. Two days of shivering and then finally housekeeping on my last night brought a small portable heater to put on the floor. On checking out, the front desk staff shrugged and said that it really was too bad....as they charged $200 US per night. Really?! That's all?
2,0 Mediocre
Pros: Awful smell of smoke, everywhere. Poor service. Stunning views, but horrid smell of smoke.
Cons: Awful
9,7 Excellent
Pros: Location, and Service
Cons: It’s Egypt sooooo yeah there’s a ton of people trying to take advantage of you, some work for the hotel most wait just outside the gate
4,5 Okay
Pros: The restaurants.
Cons: The staff members. A package was trying to be delivered to the hotel that I was using for business purposes. Three times did they turn away the delivery guy without informing me. Once I asked them if anyone had attempted to drop off a package the answer was no, and no one was willing to look into it. Being a platinum elite member with Marriott I was honestly wondering why I invest in the chain with that type of customer service. Beyond poor, and with the feeling of the client being an inconvenience. Such a shame with a location like that.
8,3 Excellent
Pros: Close walking distance to pyramids. Great views from certain areas. Wonderful decor around the facility.
Cons: We paid for a pyramid view room and was given a room on the ground floor. From that vantage point, you could only see the top of one pyramid over the buildings and blocked but numerous palm trees. It was really disappointing, enough for me to gather the courage and ask the front desk for a room change, which took some convincing. We were moved to the top floor of the hotel and were rewarded with a much fuller view of the pyramids, but only if you were at one corner of the balcony and looked over the side. And the room smelled like rotten eggs, but went away after a while by fanning the room with the balcony door open. For the rest of the stay, the receptionist who provided the room change made me feel like I was a difficult guest.
8,3 Excellent
Pros: Location, garden/pool facilities, Superb architecture/design of the restaurant terrace with view of the pyramids!
Cons: The male staff at the reception was a bit arrogant and unfriendly. Same with the male manager staff at the restaurant. More than once we felt a bit uncomfortable. Also the reception staff should speak fluently english, and know some basic information about the most popular sight seeing highlights in Cairo! (e.g. opening hours of the pyramids and of the Egyptian museum! ) The food prices at the restaurant were high but acceptable. We didn’t like that the service charge and tax charge were not included in the listed price. Clear transactions, knowing what you pay for from the beginning, are always preferred.

Pros: The food in the executive lounge was the best we had in Egypt. Rooms are very nice, pool is beautiful! No complaints, of course you always wish for things to be cheaper!

9,1 Excellent
Pros: Amazing location and professional service, intelligent staff, SKY POOL overlooking the Nile. Great rooms and provisions.
Cons: Sky deck closes at sunset. No free internet in rooms - this should be standard. No breakfast with the room fare.
10,0 Excellent
Pros: Modern rooms and decors
Cons: Late in check in and very poor staff in reception, no rescept for the guest, room key damage in every hour !
8,3 Excellent
Pros: I really liked the warm welcome from miss Maha. Also thank you to Mr Walid for his kindness.
Cons: To be honest I don’t like the hotel policy for example if I wanted to eat in one of their restaurants I have to have a minimum spend of E£ 1300 per person, the the top floor restaurant is the same as well, even in the lobby to be able to smoke you have to order something in order to be able to sit there, which I found a bit unprofessional. My reason to stay in this hotel was because of its facilities. I think they should mention this policy in booking.com to make things clear to guests.
8,8 Excellent
Pros: Quietness, in room dining, and checking in and out was very smooth.
Cons: Nothing
9,0 Excellent
Pros: Beautiful view and amazing staff, hotelnis located just near to Nile river. Breakfast is one of the best i had in all restaurants so far. Rooms are clean and quite.
Cons: Only problem I had was that hotel is located in middle of the city, traffic was really bad to go out of the city centre, but that's something for all hotels in city centre. Apart from that would recommend this hotel.
10,0 Excellent
Pros: We were greeted with warmth and were very well cared for during our recent two night stay at the Fairmont Nile. The concierge service was excellent and facilitated a half day outing to the pyramids and Sphinx. The guide was an Egyptologist and very engaging. He spoke perfect English. The driver was very pleasant. . Concierge Service also helped us arrange train service to Alexandria including getting the tickets in advance. Christina and Ahmed offered superior service, were delightful to work with, and accommodated all our requests. The manager for the Lobby restaurant and bar, Emad was incrdibly gracious and accommodating. The waitstaff were on the ball, friendly, and well trained . The rooms were spacious, comfortable and beautifully appointed. Very well maintained and immaculate. Highly recommend the restaurant for breakfast overlooking the Nile. Overall, an excellent stay. We would be very pleased to return.
Cons: My husband and I are not smokers. The lobby and restaurant lin all hotels in Egypt —even the most upscale—include sections for smokers and non-smokers. The problem with this is the smoking section was only about 20 feet away from the non-smoking section and it was impossible not to be affected by the smoke. The manager was very helpful and did request that those who were smoking in a non-smoking area near us move to another section where they were permitted to smoke.

Pros: We loved everything about this hotel! It's so beautiful, clean, and elegant. The employees are very hospitable and accommodating. The location is perfect-just 15 minutes from the airport. It has plenty of restaurants and cafes. Even at night, there was an awesome pool side show. An added bonus is that it has a complimentary airport shuttle that picked us up and dropped us off. The shuttle also dropped us off at the Egyptian Museum for free. This was so convenient! We will definitely stay here again if we come back to Cairo!
