Location, and Service
It’s Egypt sooooo yeah there’s a ton of people trying to take advantage of you, some work for the hotel most wait just outside the gate
The staff members. A package was trying to be delivered to the hotel that I was using for business purposes. Three times did they turn away the delivery guy without informing me. Once I asked them if anyone had attempted to drop off a package the answer was no, and no one was willing to look into it. Being a platinum elite member with Marriott I was honestly wondering why I invest in the chain with that type of customer service. Beyond poor, and with the feeling of the client being an inconvenience. Such a shame with a location like that.

Awful smell of smoke, everywhere. Poor service. Stunning views, but horrid smell of smoke.
For 4+ star a bit disappointing..
The views of the pyramids while having breakfast, lunch or dinner were stunning, day and night. The grounds were gorgeous - lush gardens, water pools etc.
Don't go in the winter season. After 5 phone calls to the assistant manager, guest services rep etc. and 2 visits from electricians, the room remained cold and only cold air poured into the room. When the temperature outside is 8 degrees, this is unacceptable. Two days of shivering and then finally housekeeping on my last night brought a small portable heater to put on the floor. On checking out, the front desk staff shrugged and said that it really was too bad....as they charged $200 US per night. Really?! That's all?

My wife and I made the reservation in this hotel not knowing the story, only reviews online. To our surprise, since day one we were in love with everything. The story is fascinated, everyone in the hotel made us feel like a queen and king. Top service, friendly staff and a wonderful experience.
