Pros: The B&B was lovely, and the caretakers were extraordinarily pleasant and kind. They helped us arrange transport to the airport, which, after a week of travel, we were very grateful for. The breakfast was also delicious. It was a wonderful way to end our trip.

Pros: I have stayed at the Courtyard many times before Michael & Mary have always endured a pleasant stay, the location is excellent. Would always recommend this to others.
Excellent 9,0
Pros: Everything was great, however, with the larger size of the room we were surprised there was no table, even a small one would have been good.
Cons: No table in room, everything else great.
Excellent 10,0
Pros: Everything. The rooms are lovely and cosy and the bathrooms spacious. The bed linen smelled so good. The breakfast was also very good. Excellent scrambled eggs. Excellent 10,0
Pros: The location is excellent as we had a reservation for the castle medieval banquet that night and could drink all the mead we wanted to and walk home afterwards. We were full from the banquet the evening before so did not partake of all the breakfast had to offer, but it seemed substantial.

Pros: The property is five minutes walk away from Bunratty. It is a nice big house setback from the road. The rooms are spacious. The owners are incredibly helpful, engaging and respectful. Cons: Genuinely can’t think of anything we did not like about it.

Pros: We had such a lovely visit to Parkhouse B&B. Our hosts were welcoming, friendly, organized and truly a wonderful family. Our visit was too short. After returning from dinner, it was nice to relax with friends in the comfortable sitting area. The rooms were perfect for a great night’s sleep. The breakfast was hot and delicious, I think the sausage was the best we’ve had on our travels. A perfect location for visiting the area. Thank you to our hosts for a wonderful time!

Excellent 9,2
Pros: Exceptional Hospitality
Cons: No complaints
Excellent 10,0
Pros: It was a first class B&B. The host was wonderful. The room was spectacular. The price was excellent (but that may have been partly due to being a last minute reservation). The proximity to Bunratty castle & folk park (5 min. drive) and 15 minutes to Shannon airport was perfect. Breakfast was outstanding with lovely celtic mood music in the background.
Cons: That we only had a one night stay!
Excellent 10,0
Pros: Large clean room, great host. The host booked our dinner at very good reasonably priced restaurant pub.
Excellent 10,0

Excellent 10,0
Pros: Location was perfect. Joe was very welcoming and a brilliant Host.

Pros: This was my favorite airbnb that I had the chance to stay at. The gentleman who ran this place was one of the nicest person's I have ever met. The room was spacious and comfy and so was the bathroom. The breakfast was on point. I cannot recommend this place enough.
Cons: I wish there was air conditioning, but the windows did a good job of bringing in plenty of air.
Excellent 9,6
Pros: Very warm welcome. Good location, not far from the castle but very quiet. Large room, clean, comfortable. Very good breakfast. We highly recommend this B&B.
Excellent 10,0
Pros: I loved how it was near the airport and very quiet. The man who owned it was so kind and made an amazing breakfast! Everything was great!
Excellent 10,0
Pros: Host was outstanding! We had a tire puncture in the countryside near the cliffs of Mohar on a Sunday late eve which greatly delayed our arrival. When we pulled up at 11 pm he welcomed us with true Irish humor and carried our bags to our room for us. Room cosy and inviting. Hot water kettle available to make proper cup of tea prior to bed. Comfortable beds!Delicious breakfast the next day ! Highly recommend you make a reservation!
Excellent 10,0
Pros: Scones were subperb.

Excellent 10,0
Pros: Great location. Nice facility and hostess.
Excellent 10,0
Pros: Hotel employee was a wonderful hostess! She was friendly and helpful and helped us find a place to eat pretty easily. She prepared a wonderful breakfast the next morning. The location was great, right down the street from the castle, but not walking
Cons: It was kind of difficult to find, bit I blame Google maps for that and poor street sign marking in Ireland.
Excellent 10,0
Pros: Mel & Denis were very welcoming & made you feel at home. The setting was lovely as you were looking out at fields & was very peaceful. The room was really comfortable & very clean with plenty of wardrobe space & the bathroom was a big & very clean with shower gel & shampoo provided. The Irish breakfast was excellent, with brown bread (my favourite) & toast. On my next trip to Bunratty I will definitely be booking with Mel again as I was made very welcome in lovely surroundings.
Cons: There was nothing I didn’t like. Even the weather was lovely.
Excellent 9,6
Pros: Had a problem but it was rectified very well.
Cons: Drain in bathroom sink was slooow
Excellent 9,6
Pros: What a lovely home! I felt so welcome & comfortable during my stay at Inishfree B & B. The full Irish breakfast was so delicious; homemade scones; wonderful eggs & scrumptious sausages! I especially enjoyed chatting with my friendly hostess; she gave me great tips on what to see & do in the area! My room was roomy, sparkling clean & tea making facilities in my room. I truly enjoyed that Inishfree is a beautiful setting out in the countryside yet close to Bunratty, my favorite Irish village! I will definitely be back on my next trip to Ireland!
Excellent 10,0
Pros: Lovely place. Very welcoming hosts! Tasty Irish breakfast with lots of options. Nice view of the countryside right outside the window. Many great attractions in different directions within driving distance.
Excellent 9,6
Pros: Welcoming and relaxing with friendly host in Mel. Always helpful and well worth visit.
Excellent 10,0
Pros: Warm welcome from Dennis and Mel and Pixie the little dog! The room was nice and bed comfortable. The breakfasts were wonderful.
Excellent 10,0
Pros: I liked everything about Innisfree Bed and Breakfast. We chose this location based on it's closeness to the Bunratty Castle where we booked the Medieval Dinner. Mel, our hostess was fantastic. The rooms were very comfortable with great showers! We especially enjoyed meeting her grandsons at breakfast.
Cons: We had hoped to walk to the castle but the Irish Roads are a bit too skinny and the drivers a bit bold, so we drove!
Excellent 10,0
Pros: It was quiet and inviting

Excellent 10,0
Pros: We thoroughly enjoyed everything from the staff to the service to the accommodations
Excellent 8,0
Pros: The location was great. You could walk to restaurants and shops. The staff at the restaurant was great!! They were very friendly and helpful!!
Cons: The room was very small and the bathroom had mold on the walls!! We also had a room on the first floor by the front door so very little privacy.
Excellent 10,0
Pros: Location. Quiet spot but close to everything.
Cons: Lighting in the bedroom.
Okay 5,0
Pros: The restaurant looked nice but was booked. The old convent areas were interesting and the location was amazing
Cons: Rooms were very outdated. Bathroom was ugly. Room was uncomfortably hot. Hotel provided a fan but was still hot
Good 7,9
Pros: location next to the city center, parking lot in front of the hotel
Cons: we got a basic room with view to a grey wall, small bathroom
Good 7,1
Pros: Location excellent, and the staff on arrival, departure, and at breakfast also excellent. Parking arrangements very good
Cons: The seating in the room was tight, with the chair at the round table hard to use. Placement of bags involved using the cupboard for one, and the floor next to the bed for the other. Double beds are nowadays a no-no, and upgrade to queen is overdue. The internal heater we could not control, and suspected it was controlled from somewhere else. The room was accordingly too hot overnight. The food at breakfast was OK, but just....OK. The address given on the booking produced no response from the satnav, and “The Square” meant “O’Connell Square”, whilst access by car was from another street altogether. We got there eventually. The satnav would not accept the postcode reference, and the booking had an antiquated latitude/longitude reference. Needs immediate attention....overall the VFM issue was not made out
Good 7,9
Pros: Excellent position for town centre.
Cons: Checking in staff were excellent. However at breakfast ....we were the only 2 guests in the dining room but the table given to us was in the centre of 4 staff laying up tables .....rather noisy.
Excellent 10,0
Pros: Room was nice, good pillows. Bathroom very nice.
Excellent 8,8
Cons: Breakfast selection could have been better
Excellent 9,6
Pros: The one of the best thing was the location, and the facility itself was beautiful. I loved the museum, only a few steps away. The downtown shopping are was so close too. The lobby was also beautiful and welcoming.
Okay 5,0
Cons: Very over priced @ €150/nt room only, in a very small room at that.
Good 6,3
Cons: Housekeeping woke me up early. they have a list of who has checked out......... so dont pester the other guests with knocking very early and apologizing.... Oldest trick in the book

Pros: The dinners were amazing and great value for money. The staff serving in the evening were very friendly and even interacted with our kids. The room was cleaned to a good standard and a cot was prepared for our son with fresh bedding. Staff in pool area also very helpful and professional. Had a lovely stay.
Cons: Went down for breakfast and were met by a older woman who seated us, we were given a pot of tea and were told she will give us a minute and she will be back to take our order. 20 minutes later she still hadnt returned and the other members of staff were cleaning tables and greeting more customers so we were still sitting there with no food, when we got up to leave the older woman returned to 'fix up our bill' and we told her we didn't get a breakfast. Better communication and basic customer training required in this area and brought up to the standards of the evening staff.
Excellent 8,3
Pros: Not too far from bus stops into the city center. Good breakfast. Plenty of free parking
Cons: Rooms are a little bit dated, no sockets near the beds to plugin phone chargers etc.
Excellent 10,0
Pros: D staff were lovely helpful and friendly Nd the hotel and leisure center wer lovely and the hotel in great location
Good 6,7
Pros: Excellent waitress in restaurant.
Cons: Restaurant invaded with Carvery customers. It was like a cattle mart.
Okay 5,8
Pros: Food
Cons: Loads a racket up all night . Joke
Excellent 9,6
Pros: Location. Staff very helpful.
Cons: Bathroom had no hooks for towels nor bathrobes
Good 7,1
Pros: Comfy bed, nice to have use of the pool. Man on reception was very friendly.
Cons: Although our room was at the end of the hotel, the main road was noisy. Some drunk guests woke us up at 5.45 which wasn’t the hotel’s fault but still spoilt our stay. The pool temperature was a bit too warm.
Good 7,5
Pros: Food was lovely
Cons: Attic style room was a bit dated.
Mediocre 3,3
Pros: Breakfast service in the morning was ok but pricey!!
Cons: Noisy in the early hours with people shouting at full volume outside our room. Cleanliness was terrible with mold in the room and bathroom. Way over priced. We will NOT stay there again!!
Okay 4,2
Pros: Like - it was grand, no memorable features
Cons: Place is ‘grotty’, windows filthy and didn’t close properly. Breakfast was totally pathetic. And involved a guessing game in terms of what was on offer. This place is cheap relative to other hotels in the area but is not good value for money. Hopefully they go out of business soon.

Pros: Noel was very friendly and very attentive about your needs. So nice to talk to him on any topics. Will go back again when given the opportunity. Thanks Noel.
Cons: Stairs being a bit handicapped . Noel help us move our luggage.
Excellent 8,3
Pros: Continental breakfast suited us. Accommodation was central to events happening in Ennis at that time. Plenty of shops. Friendly people. Lucky the weather was good all week. Everything within walking distance. Suited our purpose of holiday there. The owner was very friendly and helpful.
Cons: Accommodation bit tired and dated but that's reflected in the price. Everything worked and owner only too happy to help with anything.
Excellent 8,3
Pros: Comfortable room, lots of space for two persons. Friendly host
Cons: breakfast was okay, but all packed in plastics. Nothing was freshly made. An egg or something would have made it more complete. One of the beds was so old that it was banana shaped. Old fashioned interior.
Mediocre 3,3
Pros: nothing really. Glad we were there only one night. Interesting antiquities in the hallway. We arrived late in the day and the town centre was closed but there were a few restaurants nearby
Cons: the room was old and shabby. The coffee was weak. Not a great variety on the breakfast. The advertised rate on the door was less than we paid. The extra cost for breakfast not worth it. We wrote by email after we left and did not get a reply.
Excellent 10,0

Excellent 8,3
Pros: Hotel and rooms were kept tidy and clean, excellent cleaning staff, facilities were excellent and the reception and bar staff were friendly and prompt. Excellent value for for our money.
Cons: Not many dislikes only I think the gymnasium has too many machines leaving the gym tight for space to train.
Excellent 8,3
Pros: Food was excellent and location was very good. Lesure centre staff very pleasant.
Cons: Hotel could do with an upgrade.
Excellent 9,2
Pros: Overall the hotel was right for what we wanted,a base to tour from, the room was clean and comfortable and the mattress was excellent. However The bar left the hotel down We ordered a Guinness and a Pink Gin and tonic Guinness was good but the gin and tonic came without a single bit of fruit we sent it back and got a slice of lemon. We sent it back a second time as there was lipstick on the glass I left my phone charger after me in our room and the Head Housekeeper located it and kindly posted it to me the next day(Think her name was Mary)much appreciated. Would stay again
Cons: Clean up the bar and train the Bar staff (see comment above) TV didn't work properly reception said they would send someone up but they never did
Excellent 8,8

Excellent 10,0
Pros: Friendly and helpful staff. Good good in the restaurant and a good breakfast service. Irish music band in bar area. I'll stay here again.
Excellent 8,3
Pros: The price & location is excellent. Staff at reception & breakfast area were very friendly. Beds & bedsheets were wonderful
Cons: We booked a triple room for me, my mother & sister. Room was small but nicely appointed. But the bathroom was dreadful. It needs a refit as grout is dirty & cracked especially at base of bath. Hot tap was missing the top cap plus both taps needed replacing as water is spraying. Toilet roll holder is old & rusty. Just an air of decay in bathroom that left a bad memory. Otherwise it was good for a 3 star hotel.
Good 7,9
Pros: very good breakfast
Excellent 10,0
Pros: Just great facilities.

Excellent 8,8
Pros: Great staff, amazing food in the bar ( cruises)
Cons: Bed extremely uncomfortable.. springs poking through mattress
Excellent 9,6
Pros: Conveniently located
Cons: Noisy because there was Friday night loud entertainment below my room. To be fair, the hotel warned me but I underestimated how noisy the music would be — I was thinking traditional acoustical instruments but this was amplfied and electric so believe the staff when they warn you...it was seriously loud until 2 am.
Excellent 10,0
Pros: Location was great, right in the middle of the town
Cons: I was not especially happy to have to stand outside for as long as we did waiting to be let in returning after 11pm. Eventually I woke up another family member to be let in since no one was responding to the doorbell. Otherwise, the stay was great
Excellent 8,3
Pros: Location and staff
Cons: Trying to sleep with carpet layers outside door!
Good 7,1
Pros: Food and staff both very good
Cons: excessive noise until 3am from nightclub, no tea/coffee in room
Excellent 8,3
Pros: Great location Friendly staff
Cons: Bed wasn't comfortable Slight smell from the basin
Good 7,9
Pros: Great location, just be aware that you are above the night club in town.
Cons: Wasn’t a fan of the water pressure in the shower, had to make use of dry shampoo for a couple days.
Good 7,9
Pros: Location
Cons: Get what you pay for
Okay 5,8
Cons: Sink was blocked and black particles were coming up out of it. When reported I was told there was no one to fix it. We were not offered another room. You get what you pay for. There was music blaring outside our room until 2am
Excellent 9,2
Pros: the room was on the first floor
Cons: Could not locate the BBC or RTE channels
Excellent 8,0
Pros: Location and the pub downstairs has good food.
Cons: Room smelt like smoke and you could hear the water pump go off every time someone in the building flushed a toilet or turn on a tap which was quite noisy especially when trying to sleep.
