Travelers transiting through Slovakia within 8 hours,Students,Travelers with humanitarian reasons for travel, Slovak citizens, permanent or temporary residents,Some family members of citizens or permanent/temporary residents.
Travelers must have proper documentation accrediting their exemption.
Fully vaccinated travelers must be able to show a certificate proving their vaccination status in Slovak, Czech or English. The vaccination certificate must include a stamp of the national authority or be electronically verifiable.
Visitors from South Africa must present a negative RT-PCR (NAAT) or Antigen (quick-test) test taken 72 for RT-PCR (NAAT) and 48 Antigen (quick-test) hours before departing to Slovakia.
Unvaccinated visitors from South Africa will need to quarantine for 14 days upon entering Slovakia.
Fully vaccinated visitors with approved vaccination certificates do not need to quarantine.
Travellers returning from Slovakia must present a negative RT-PCR (NAAT) test taken 72 hours before departure to South Africa.
Visitors returning from Slovakia are not required to quarantine upon entering South Africa.
