Pros: A perfect hotel. We can really recommend it. It is great, smal and very nice. We loved it.
Cons: There is a big reconstruction on the seaside. At 07 00 o‘clock starts big noise. It is not the fault of the hotel, but if you are noise-sensitive, you will realise it.

Radisson Blu Hotel Sydney - Sydney - Building
3
9,2 Excellent (5 827 reviews)
R3 308+
Overview Reviews
With a stay at Radisson Blu Plaza Hotel Sydney, you'll be centrally located in Sydney, a 5-minute walk from Pitt Street Mall and 10 minutes by foot from The Domain. Featured amenities include a business center, express check-out, and complimentary newspapers in the lobby. Planning an event in Sydney? This hotel has facilities measuring 5382 square feet (500 square meters), including conference space.
10,0 Excellent
Pros: clean, bright, spacious room
10,0 Excellent
Pros: The bathrooms were amazing and the beds were very comfortable.
8,8 Excellent
Pros: Excellent staff who went above and beyond.
Cons: The wardrobe did not have the drop to hang my dresses without being crumpled. At the desk there should have been a mirror for women to sit and do their makeup. There was a full length mirror but that meant I would have to stand up and do my make up and there was not good natural light where it was positioned. The television was positioned at right angles to the bed. You therefore could not watch television in bed.
9,3 Excellent
Pros: Great location, friendly and helpful staff. Good room. Bar food and service good.
10,0 Excellent
Pros: Everyone was so nice ..... our luggage was lost for 2 days from checkin. The concierge was very helpful calling the airline on numerous occasions to see if our luggage was found... as we were going on a 11 day cruise.
10,0 Excellent
Pros: It is a great location being a short walk from the waterfront and central to the shopping precinct. The staff were friendly and helpful, the beds comfortable but the pillows could be softer although you do have 5 choices so can change them after a call to housekeeping.
Cons: There was nothing not to like.
10,0 Excellent
Pros: Everything in the place was nice from the moment we walked in till the time we left.
Cons: The street access is a pain when driving to the place, but this cant be helped so no issues with the Radisson on this.
7,5 Good
Pros: Breakfast was good. Location was great.
Cons: It would have been helpful if instructions were clearer about how and where to drop off the car...all the "5-minute carparks" at the otherwise totally and utterly completely indistinct drop-off point was full of parked cars - nowhere to park, no sign of valets. I drove around the block two times and then parked somewhere distant and walked - very frustrating - stress I didn't need... The bathroom sink was blocked - not good.
9,3 Excellent
Pros: Location
Cons: Noise that was occuring in the foyer due to glass doors being fixed on both days.
9,5 Excellent
Pros: The rooms were a really good size, spacious and well maintained
Cons: Car parking
10,0 Excellent
Pros: Always find our home away from home the very best experience in Sydney. The staff are our family.
Cons: Nothing.
9,0 Excellent
Pros: everything was very good and helpful when needed.
Cons: the street was oneway it was hard to get to I was lost every time,it was very high price to park a car $50.00 a day no free breakfast.

Pros: Great hotel. Helpful and friendly staff. Shower room if you arrive too early for check-in. Free everything- wifi, breakfast, snacks, minibar, evening drinks. Even "shoebox" room was large enough (at least for one person). King room was great too.
Cons: Shower in "shoebox" was a bit tight - lots of water on the floor afterwards. Shower in King room was fantastic.
10,0 Excellent
Pros: Location was brilliant breakfast was a little lack lustre and coffee was cold when it finally arrived
10,0 Excellent
Pros: Location was excellent, car park across the road so convenient and the building was interesting, quirky, clean and easy. The hotel manager, Tanya, was so lovely. She was friendly, helpful and generous. When she heard we were celebrating, she made sure special touches were in place for us. Thank you. We will be back on our next baby free break for sure. The caramel tiramisu was ridiculously good.

10,0 Excellent
Pros: Amazing property. Every inch of space is used
10,0 Excellent
Pros: Very chic with outstanding service
9,5 Excellent
Pros: Overall it was an enjoyable and comfortable stay! This is my second visit and i must say my experience this time was better than i remembered. Everything was clean and tidy, also the complimentary drinks and snacks were very generous. And how can i forget about Siri, the icing on the already amazing!
Cons: The shower was a bit weak and there was no ventilation for the bathroom.
10,0 Excellent
Pros: A fantastic place to stay close to all amenities in Darling Harbour. We were really impressed with everything.
5,0 Okay
Pros: The staff and bar were lovely and the overall ambience was very nice.
Cons: My room was dreadful and it was the worst night sleep I have had in a long time. When I checked in I specifically said I was looking forward to a good night sleep away from my little ones. The room was between the lift and a storeroom, which was not great, but it was the light in the room that was terrible. The curtain lets in lots of light and it is as if you are sleeping at day break all night. It was so disappointing as I thought I had found the prefect place for my little staycations.
Sir Stamford At Circular Quay - Sydney - Bedroom
6
9,2 Excellent (3 605 reviews)
R3 567+
Overview Reviews
A stay at Sir Stamford At Circular Quay places you in the heart of Sydney, within a 10-minute walk of Sydney Opera House and Overseas Passenger Terminal. Featured amenities include a business center, express check-in, and express check-out. Self parking (subject to charges) is available onsite.
8,0 Excellent
Pros: Friendly and young staff—and location! Right near the cruise ship port and opera house! Good view of THE BRIDGE from back windows!
Cons: Room service came at all hours, would knock once then open the door. Furniture in rooms a little dated.
10,0 Excellent
Pros: The food was very well prepared. The system is a little confusing. For breakfast particularly where people are just awake why not greet them with coffee or tea as they work out what they are having. This habit used to be so welcoming. It also gives the staff member a chance to tell them how the system works etc.
Cons: Table a dinner not fully set. A fork missing then a knife is missing. This was for a reservation that had been made several days in advance. Why oh why don't restaurants server sweets with a dessert fork as well as a spoon. Try eating a whole pear with only a spoon?!. How to hold it while you cut into it? Why should the customer have to ask for something so basic.
9,5 Excellent
Pros: Closeness to where we needed to be. Style. Friendliness of staff
Cons: N/A
7,5 Good
Pros: Location is good small and cozy hotel.
Cons: food! should introduce hot and cold self serve food
9,5 Excellent
Pros: Very friendly staff. Clean, quiet and comfortable. The main point for me was how close it it to the cruise ship terminal, 5 mins walk!
10,0 Excellent
Pros: I like the old school charm. A concierge is there right when you walk in. The place was decorated wuth classy Christmas decorations. You just felt important as a guest.
Cons: The bathroom had a room for the toilet but no door. Seems like the door would be a bonus so someone can get ready while soneone uses the toilet.
8,8 Excellent
Pros: Nice hotel beds a little uncomfortable. Lighting in the room could be a little better. A great hotel for winter.
Cons: Lighting in room
9,3 Excellent
Pros: Excellent locations, close to the Opera, Botanical Gardens and the rocks. Definitely would recommend to anyone looking for a romantic weekend with great room service.
8,0 Excellent
Pros: Location location location Staff were great
Cons: Nothing
6,8 Good
Pros: Excellent location to Circular Quay and Opera House. Old world charm. Log fire in lobby. Good size room. Large bath with separate shower. Hot a la carte breakfast very good. Staff friendly.
Cons: Stayed in superior king room 415 one night after going to the opera. Asked for quiet room but received room facing road. Kept awake by noise from aircon, road and discomfort of too hard bed. Room decor shabby;stained dirty carpet, large black scuff mark on wall, wall paper needs re sticking. Power outlet hanging out of wall. Bathroom tap leaking, mouldy tile grout. White marble yellowed in shower. Breakfast buffet not worth the money with tinned fruit and only baby bel cheese ; no other cheeses available. Coffee disgusting cold percolated. They charge extra to make a decent barista coffee which is a complete rip off as other hotels provide this as part of their breakfast buffets. Extremely disappointing option for the money and not worth five stars. Will not be staying again unless they improve what they provide. Reviews are not reliable.
10,0 Excellent
Pros: The Staff at the Sir Stamford are 6 STAR and I experienced some of the best service I have received in my many travels for work. The hotel is classy, intimate and delivers beyond expectation. I will be back.
10,0 Excellent
Pros: Outstanding staff, great location and cool classis hotel with lots of marble, crystal and classic art.
Cons: Bar staff was a bit off-putting but otherwise great experience.

Pros: The quirky & funky side of the Hotel & the staff especially the kiwi guy who was so helpful & also we got upgraded when we mentioned it was our anniversary
Cons: My partner actually found the air-con heater too loud & turned it off, I was then cold & in winter I like a top fluffy dooner, it felt like I just had a sheet over me
9,5 Excellent
Pros: Great location. Friendly staff. Great facilities. Really modern decor.
Cons: When we went to the bar for a drink we couldn’t get a seat but there were reserved signs on tables. We sat at the bar and had a couple of drinks - the tables with reserved signed remained vacant for the 45 minutes we were there. Surely we could have sat down. The drinks are excellent.

Pros: Location is fantastic and staff and meals high quality
Cons: It is very expensive.
8,0 Excellent
Pros: Location
Cons: I upgraded to a Opera House view but the balcony is so small my wife and I couldn't both sit outside. Inside was a great big round table for eight and only one chair so we both couldn't sit inside to enjoy the room either. One whole wall is cupboards but the terrible design meant we had no draws for clothing. Great location, rediculous room design. Had a business meeting out if town but nothing is open before 6:30

10,0 Excellent
Cons: Wish the restaurants stayed open later than 2:30 for lunch.
9,3 Excellent
Pros: The new building directly connects to a heritage building. A fusion of old and new and so the lobby was awesome with soaring glass ceilings where a giant clock and bell tower casts as shadow.
Cons: The hotel gym was under renovation so the one they made us use was 4 or 5 buildings away, in another street block. It was winter and was raining, so it was very inconvenient to go out of the building wearing just shorts and gym shirt. And shame that the concierge did not even bother to offer an umbrella. Talk about 5-star service.
8,8 Excellent
Pros: The bed is very comfortable and the breakfast is always good
Cons: Seating arrangements at breakfast when it’s busy

Pros: Brilliant location, walking distance to Circular Quay and the Opera House. Cons: The air conditioning in our room, 204, did not work well. It seemed to be a fan, rather than cooling. At night the temp dropped enough to sleep ok. However the rest of the wkend the room was too hot to want to stay inside it. The corridor was well air conditioned however and the lobby area was nice and breezy. We reported it to the front desk as we went out for 4 hrs, and were told someone would look at it. It did not improve during our stay.

Pros: The staff here were phenomenal. Nothing was too much trouble. They were very engaging with the guests. Room service was excellent, allowing us to take advantage of one of the best views in the city! I thought the hand written card from the hotel manager for my Birthday was a nice touch. I appreciated that they had an in house hair salon.
Cons: -The noisy sliding bathroom door needs attention. It was impossible to close quietly during the night. I appreciate the bathroom space is limited and a conventional door can't be fitted, but it does need a better 'glide' mechanism.
10,0 Excellent
Pros: I’ve been to many hotels and Four Seasons is honestly my favourite. I will definitely be back again.
Cons: Nothing.

Pros: I attended a conference that was on level 2 for 2 days - the food was excellent.

We had a wonderful time at the Four Seasons Hotel and would stay there again! The employees were also very informative about the area and very friendly!
Cons: I wish the restaurant in the hotel could have been A LITTLE more affordable, with meals served throughout the day.

Pros: * Consistently excellent.. both staff, service and hotel. * Great proximity to all of the city. * Fantastic buffet breakfast.. wide selection of food. Fresh and constantly replenished. * Made to feel at home.. would not stay anywhere else.!!
Cons: * Buffet breakfast can get very busy during certain times.. not the hotels fault and easily resolved by attending outside of the peak time which I find is from 9am onwards. Not a criticism simply and observation.

Pros: Clean, nice rooms , good facilities , great location
10,0 Excellent
Pros: Great location, great facilities and great staff, especially the rooftop pool, spa and sauna.
Cons: The pillow is too soft for us, it would be better if we can choose different type pillows, like some other hotel offer. The breakfast (bacon, sausage etc.) is a little bit cold
10,0 Excellent
Pros: the breakfast was very nice, but a little expensive even with the discount.
Cons: everything was great, nothing needs improvement.
8,3 Excellent
Pros: very neat and fairly large rooms. the park view is beautiful.
Cons: initially we were in a 'park view' room which did not face the park at all. you have to crane your neck out of the window to see the park. this should not be sold as park view. staff were happy to move us to a front facing room with beautiful view.

8,3 Excellent
Pros: The bed was VERY comfortable and luxurious. The bathroom is very spacious (makes up about half the hotel room for King Room) and the bath was roomy and deep enough to submerge yourself in which I loved.

10,0 Excellent
Pros: Polite, friendly staff and professional. We wanted our room to be serviced and forgot that our Privacy light was on. They left a card to say that they came by and I also got an email which really impressed me!
10,0 Excellent
Pros: Location is perfect, a block from transit, tons of shopping and excellent Asian food. Unlike similarly priced hotels, the Primus has a ton of character, thanks to its very sensitive adaptive reuse of a very stylish 1939 government office building.
Cons: My only (very minor) complaint was that the fancy lighting automation in the room was a little touchy, and a couple of lamps wouldn't shut off entirety on their own ” I had to switch them off at the wall outlet. Otherwise, I had an outstanding stay!
8,0 Excellent
Pros: The rooms were spacious.
Cons: Overall I had a pleasant stay, however this hotel is not really a five star hotel especially when comparing other to other five star hotels like the shangri La, park Hyatt, or even the Marriott downtown. There just a difference in how personalized theyare
10,0 Excellent
Pros: Ambience.
Cons: Less construction about... however that's transient
8,8 Excellent
Pros: I love this hotel, the history and the style are incredible.
Cons: Our room in the tower looked into another building through dirty windows. Also, next door is the Metro development so it was extremely noisy with the work going on.
Overview Reviews
The iconic Clare Hotel, which was originally a pub and the Carlton United Breweries buildings, and through a sensitive restoration given birth to two buildings in one, a place where historic elements are preserved and contemporary pleasures abound. Here, lifestyle is as much in play as luxury. The 62 rooms offer an embracing mix of bespoke handcrafted items with an authentic, old-world feel, and serve as a base from which one can experience arguably the best rooftop bar and pool in the city, as well as three unique restaurants, which include the inspired work of Michelin-starred chef Jason Atherton. The brewery may be gone, but its semi-industrial feel, combined with sleek new elements, are the reason The Old Clare Hotel is now a neighborhood-defining property.

Pros: Handy to university. Staff tried very hard to be helpful
Cons: Poorly designed room. No storage for clothes. Vanity area quite unusual with no space for toiletries, no decent mirror, no wall between vanity and stairwell. 9,5 Excellent
Pros: The staff were very friendly and the room had great facilities (the bed was very comfortable). We really liked that the hotel offered gym and yoga access. It was also a nice bonus that the room came with two free items from the mini bar. The Wifi was also easy to connect to and quick.

Cons: Was upgraded to deluxe room, however room was quite small. But really comfortable and clean. Did really enjoy it.
8,0 Excellent
Pros: Room was upgraded. Pleasant staff. Close to cafes, supermarkets and train station.
Cons: Bed was too soft for me. Layout of things like fridge too close to door. Not as easy as it should be to boil the kettle.
9,5 Excellent
Pros: We enjoyed the breakfast menu, it is a separate business but the allowed amount covered all we wanted. My wife went to a Yoga class and enjoyed that. The bedroom layout made a small space seem spacious.
Cons: Not a criticism of the hotel as such, but apart form going to an excellent local Indian restaurant on the first night, all our trips seemed to need to be by taxi owing to the hotel's location, eg. downtown, ferry to zoo, the Opera house and the Central railway station.
8,0 Excellent
Pros: Staffs were very kind. They offered me late check out by even 3 hours when they knew i had a few hours left until my flight departed on check out day.

Pros: The room was huge. It was a little on the older side but it was in perfect condition. We were on the 6th floor and had a view of the Opera House and Circular Quay. The bed was so big and comfortable. I didn't have the chance to try out the shower, but the bathroom was spacious. We had the buffet breakfast the next morning and it was hot, fresh and tasty. There is an omelette station with a chef and fresh fruit, cereals, pastries and hot options. We went to the rooftop pool in the morning and got a lovely view of the bridge and Opera House on one side, and the old buildings of The Rocks on the other. The location of the hotel is perfect in The Rocks. We are working out our dates so we can stay here again soon!

10,0 Excellent
Pros: The staff were fantastic and the room is so luxurious and the price was lower than I expected it to be for such a property.
Cons: I honestly couldn't fault it
10,0 Excellent
Pros: I struggled with the best location to serve as home base in Sydney and the Swissôtel was perfect to hit all the top attractions while also being close to a train stop from the airport. Additionally, it was an easy walk to other neighborhoods like Surrey Hills and close to a Big Bus stop.
Cons: The only thing i can think that wasn’t stellar was the tv station selection in the room. That’s hardly a reason to select any hotel- just a way to wind down before bed. The pros far outweigh this one con :)
8,0 Excellent
Pros: Location good. Quiet hotel. Easy access to city centre
Cons: Furniture in room need s better designing. Why have a large reclining chair and only one other chair? Two chairs/lounge chairs would be better
6,3 Good
Pros: The staff as you walk in the hotel at the concierge are always very helpful and friendly and the ones that bring food the room are always good
Cons: I find the new staff at the front desk not trained like the ones before the change, I have been staying in the hotel for over 15 years and staff always greeted me when I arrived and it makes you feel welcomed. The new staff now are unaware and I was told because I dont book direct with the hotel and book through booking.com that I am no longer platinum and no longer get the lounge, I found the hotel manager rude and asked him to have his manager call me and he said she is very busy (I was staying for a week) never had a call and really don't know if I or my staff will be back. Having access to the lounge so I can go and sit somewhere besides my room to do some work is important to me and don't feel I should have to pay $50 a day extra. They really don't understand that corporate loyal customers should be looked after as it is repeat business.

Cons: nothing
9,5 Excellent
Pros: The rooms were clean and large. Especially liked the bathroom - the fittings were spot on and one of the best showers I have had staying in accommodation.
Cons: I liked everything about the hotel except valet parking at $90.00 was very expensive. There was an alternate parking a few blocks away with Wilson parking. I have a disability and we thought the walk would be too far so opted to pay the $90.00 but when we arrived at the hotel there was no parking out the front, Taxis and 2 cars with their hazards were on but none in them. It was also raining and the traffic was bad. We found our way to the Wilson car parking and slowly made our way back to the hotel walking with our bags.
9,5 Excellent
Pros: Staff very friendly & helpful and quick to respond. Loved the hotel's own rooftop-harvested honey.
Cons: TV not working properly on arrival, but was fixed promptly. Bathroom lights full on or off but no softer light for middle-of-night bathroom visits.
9,5 Excellent
Pros: Good sized rooms and quiet .
Cons: Good location
