Pros: Staff were really friendly, they printed my table layout without a quibble and at no charge, they were helpful with Taxi and arrange a meal....room was quiet, bed was comfy....it was only for 1 night but I would have no problems staying there again

Pros: Food great - super service; fab rooms.
Cons: Nothing.
10,0 Excellent
Pros: We liked everything about this charming hotel from beautiful Christmas decorations to spacious and extremely well equipped rooms and free parking. This is a historical pub-hotel dating back to 16th century, yet it is very well maintained and nicely kept. The management is amazing: We were planning New Year's Eve stay with our toddler boy and our guests, therefore wanted to make sure everything goes smooth. Red Lion's General Manager was so kind and helpful, he responded to all my questions/requests in an extremely efficient way. As a result, we had an unforgettable experience, perfect in every way (great food; music; amazing stay; adjacent rooms as requested). Rooms are equipped with everything you might need: modern tea/coffee facilities; complementary drinks; even iron! Breakfast is very nice: buffet for cold snacks/cereal/pastries/fruit and a la carte (included in price) for hot English breakfast. We could not be happier! Also, the hotel is very well located for Windsor trips:)
Cons: The only minor thing is that there were not complementary slippers. At least, we did not find them in our room) Also, not really a minus, but those willing to celebrate New Year's Eve, take into account that it is a family friendly place, so do not expect a super trendy/hipster party) in fact at midnight there were only us and more senior/elder generation at the restaraunt with retro disco, which we enjoyed so much!
9,2 Excellent
Pros: Clean and comfy room and complimentary mini bar an welcome extra
Cons: The drinks seemed very expensive in the bar , l paid £15 .70p for two ordinary gin and tonics
9,6 Excellent
Pros: Lovely hotel bed was so comfortable and complementary bottle of water and beer very nice touch.

Pros: Location was lovely.ideal place for walking and cycling.High street was not far away.need a car to get there.
Cons: Booked a room for £80.but was up in the attic. Will pay for a room down stairs for my next visit.
8,0 Excellent
Pros: The accommodation is comfortable and the setting is stunning. The view from our room was just of the tree branches but since we weren't in the room for long it wasn't a big deal. It was lovely to walk down by the water after breakfast. The room was comfortable. We shared a bathroom which was fine for one night but any longer wouldn't have been ideal. The cleaner who we saw in the morning was friendly.
Cons: We didn't feel particularly welcomed by the woman in charge. She snapped a few times at us when we had a couple of questions. She obviously felt we should know the answers without asking her. This happened on arrival and when we saw her to get a drink from the coffee shop the next day.
6,3 Good
Cons: Very isolated at night with no lighting on approach lane.
10,0 Excellent
Pros: The fantastic warm friendly welcome from Mariza treated us like old friends. The lady cook at breakfast lovely and smiley. Position of mill, down quiet lane. Quirky ness of B & B. We arrived and shown to our room, an extra heater had been put in room as a bit chilly. Tea and coffee in room. Bottle of tap water. We had cake from cafe delicious. Nothing was too much trouble. We went to local pub (excellent food), was lent a torch by staff for the dark lane. In the summer months will be beautiful and tranquil.
8,3 Excellent
Pros: Beautiful setting but grim to find
Cons: Shared bathroom
9,0 Excellent

Pros: Very comfortable bed with good quality pillows
Cons: Not applicable
6,0 Good
Pros: Location excellent right next to T5.
Cons: Room furnishings and decoration shabby and tired. No easy chair which meant only way to watch tv was lying on bed - a bad back prevents me sitting on a bed. Bed linen and bedding not the quality I would expect from a 5* hotel. Bathroom shabby and in need of updating.

10,0 Excellent
Pros: Lovely room - they gave us a free upgrade. Seamless check in and check out process..
6,0 Good
Pros: The room, the bed and the bathroom were all comfortable and to expectations.
Cons: We had flown in from Hong Kong and were transiting overnight at Heathrow with an 8.20am departure the next morning. After check in at approximately 7.15pm, we stopped by the restaurant to make a dinner reservation for 7.45pm. Even though we could see that the restaurant has many empty tables, we were curtly advised by the restaurant staff that the earliest we could book would be 8.30pm. Given we were traveling with young children and we were all tired after our flights, we elected to go for room service. We ordered room service of 2 burgers, 1 kids fish and chips and 1 kids chicken and chips at 7.45pm. We were advised to allow 40 minutes (for a meal that would take 10 minutes to prepare). After waiting 45 minutes, we called to enquire of the status of our meal. We were told it would be another 15 minutes. They hastily cooked our meal and it arrived at 8.50pm. The children were mostly asleep by this stage and we were no longer interested either. The Pinot Noir was undrinkable. Staff were apologetic. We were not charged for our dinner. The whole experience gave the impression that the hotel trades on its location as the only hotel located at terminal 5.
10,0 Excellent
Pros: Style, comfort, and ease of access to terminal.
Cons: Everything outstanding!

4,0 Okay
Pros: Lovely hot shower
Cons: I paid for a double room for myself an my partner, only to be told on arrival that I would have to have 2 single beds. Not a problem I thought, until i realized that the beds are in a fixed position and couldn't be moved. 2 nights sharing a single bed with my 6ft 5' partner was very uncomfortable to say the least. The room was freezing cold and the air condition unit was blowing out cold air for hours. It eventually warmed up but as a result of having it on for so long my partner and I both ended up with heavy colds....Not a great start to the New Year Staff were not at all helpful and really didn't seem to care!! Very disappointed for such a well rated Hotel.

Pros: This hotel is perfectly located for the air port, London and almost anywhere else. the rooms were large and clean. tea and coffee making facility in the room is a real bonus. The staff were outstanding in all areas. the restaurant was really nice. the restaurant staff were the best we've had in years. The food was better than most top class restaurants in the area. the price was good too. eat all you want breakfast was really nice. This hotel is right next to the motorway, i thought it might have been a little noisy, but to my surprise it was very quiet. you couldn't hear the motorway or anything else from the hotel.
Cons: Parking for guests was £7 a night. i booked two rooms, paid for 6 dinners and puddings along with loads of drinks. it would have been nice to have the parking thrown in.
6,0 Good
Pros: Comfy bed, good tv. Good price for 1 night for London.
Cons: Stains on duvet cover, sheet and bath mat. Didn't escalate as had 2 days of travel, arrived late and just needed to wash and sleep. Arrived late so kitchen was closing and bus service was not available, which is not the premier inns fault. But it did mean a £15 taxi instead of £5.50 bus. It seems a lot when so close to Heathrow.

Pros: Very comfortable, quiet and spacious. An ideal hotel for early morning flights the next day.
Cons: The paucity of towels wasn't good (for my wife who uses two to do her hair). The location, whilst very close to the airport, has a somewhat convoluted route to get in an out. Hotels a bit more distant are actually quicker in and out of the airport.

10,0 Excellent
Pros: The staff were so nice really friendly and helpful, this hotel is ideally situated for Heathrow, the rooms were cosy and warm and just perfect, would def stay again...
Cons: There was an awful draft in the bar and seating area this was caused by people going out to the smoking area the door didnt close fully by itself it's a big problem, we heard other guests also remarking about it, we changed seats a few times but it didnt matter where you sat, it was very cold and as you can imagine there are a lot of people going in and out for smoking.
8,2 Excellent
Pros: The room was clean, comfortable but was not supplied hand towels for sink or cloth for body. The towel supply was disappointing. The blankets and bed were very comfortable
Cons: Lodging price was very reasonable but the bar prices seemed high and the 12% added gratitude charge was annoying since the rest of the country 10% was acceptable Was surprised that the Hoppa took so long snd that a taxi was £18 to the airport

Cons: We were charged twice. The company paid in advance and then I was advised erroniously on checking out that the booking payment card had been rejected, therefore they asked me to pay again on my personal card, which i reluctantly did. On checking our company found that we had indeed been charged twice, which is disappointing. Our accounts team had to spend some while to obtain a refund of the overcharge.

6,0 Good
Pros: The hotel is all fine. Staff, room everything, good value for money. I have one complaint that brought the score down, but I will write it below in the hope that it will push Holiday Inn to do something about it.
Cons: Please can you put some pressure on the Hotel Hoppa service run by Hallmark Connections to improve their services? I have come to this HI a couple of times now and both times services that were due to run did not show up at all. Most people staying here are flying in and out of Heathrow and have planes to catch so it is really crucial that the buses run on schedule as they are not all that frequent. This time the bus was due at 7am, and it didn't show. The next one came at 725am but the knock on effect meant at all stops the bus got packed with people and bags and made me late for check in. Please provide your own hotel bus service or take up this complaint with the bus company otherwise I won't stay here again which is a shame because it is more than comfortable.

Pros: The proximity to the Heathrow Airport
Cons: We asked for a wake up call and did not receive one. Our initial room was dusty and not clean and we were then moved into another room. We had to request face towels two days.

Pros: We were upgraded to a spacious room and was very clean but it was not close to the airport.
Cons: About a 20 minutes drive from airport although it's on the route of the Hoppa

Pros: Best value for money hotel in Heathrow area. Have used it many times and never been disappointed. Staff are excellent. It is a bit further out from the airport than many hotels, but the extra bus travel time is worth the inconvenience.

Pros: Plenty of facilities; restaurants, gym, spa and shop. However we chose the hotel for its locationa nd the shuttle service. Rooms were clean and comfortable.
Cons: Thought the internet was poorly priced, i.e. too expensive.
6,8 Good
Pros: Very nice hotel, and served my purpose well as an overnight stay to be close to Heathrow for an early morning flight back to the States.Nice and quiet, even though it is so close to Heathrow.
Cons: Don't know who's fault, but when I arrived, hotel had no record of my reservation. a little scarey, as I was being dropped off by my parents, after a 5 hour drive from South Wales, before my flight the next day, back to the us. After probably 15 minutes, the receptionist made a new reservation, and all was well. The other thing that was not good, was that I did not get my 6am wake up call, which could've made for a bad situation, as I was catching a plane! Also, it was not easy to get to off the M4...got lost and ended up on the m25!!
5,2 Okay
Pros:
Cons: Had to wait for check in, had no record of room with breakfast booked over the internet but found booking was in first name. good job I printer copy to show.
6,0 Good
Pros: Clezan, mostly quite quiet, ideally located for Heathrow / m25
Cons: For the second time in succession it took nearly an hour to check in as the Active Hotels Booking had not been received by the hotel. Required phonce calls to Active Hotels to resolve. Not what you need at 7pm at night after a long flight etc etc.
6,0 Good
Pros:
Cons: Early check in after a long haul flight was not possible
6,0 Good
Pros: Hotel staff generally good. Room ok, but sink drain a bit slow!
Cons: Hotel could not find my booking on the system at all - I.E. no record of the Active Hotels booking. So check-in took nearly 20 minutes whilst we sorted out a new booking.

8,0 Excellent
Pros: Own entrance and canal side location
Cons: Continental breakfast supplied in room was ok but would have liked the opportunity to have a cooked breakfast.
5,0 Okay
Pros: Location was good, quiet on the edge of canal, room was a decent size, bed was comfy with 2 fluffy pillows and an extra fold up double bed so could be a family room, short walk to a good pub and restaurant, fridge with proper milk. Good value.
Cons: Breakfast was poor, could have provided a toaster and bread instead of rolls, cereal was 1 mini box of cornflakes and 2 weetabix so no choice, nowhere to put toiletries, no chairs to sit and eat breakfast, had to sit on bed, no mirror apart from in bathroom so using hairdryer was a nightmare as couldn't see, no toilet roll holder and shower was poor with no power, no shelf in bathroom for toiletries and no hook on door to hang robe. Very basic and room could do with some TLC.
4,0 Okay
Cons: The noise, the bed, the dodgy blinds and the light that kept coming on outside the room.
10,0 Excellent
Pros: Like the amazing view of the canal, also got upgraded to a larger room.
Cons: Would have liked to eat in the restaurant but it was fully booked due to Christmas parties.
10,0 Excellent
Pros: Very clean and tidy, breakfast items and fresh milk in fridge in room which was nice! We stayed as we were at a party locally. Was very pleased with the location.
Cons: We went to bed late due to party, if you are after a quiet place to stay - you may not want to pick party weekends! It did us perfectly though! Thanks
8,0 Excellent
Pros: Easy to find, free parking. Lovely location. Good meet and greet. Good sized room, Continental breakfast in room, cheese ham fruit fresh milk in fridge, bread and jam, plenty of tea and coffee. Room was very warm. Good shower.
Cons: Don't normally stay at pub type b and b due to noise levels. Start of Christmas silly season, restaurant was full and the seating area was busy, noise levels remained up until midnight. Mattress was soft but a bit lumpy. TV was on the small side.
4,2 Okay
Pros: The food in the restaurant was good.
Cons: Where to start?! Their booking system showed only 2 adults when I had booked back in January for 2 adults and 1 child. Due to this error the room had only been set up for 2 people, having complained we were still waiting at 7:30 in the evening for staff to come and make up another bed and bring an extra cup etc. The room we were staying in is by far one of the worst rooms I’ve ever stayed in! We ordered fillet steak for our evening meal and were then told they had no fillet steak left so we ordered the sirloin. The meal was the only good thing I can say about our stay. After the meal it took 3 attempts for the waiting staff to get our bill correct, however the waitress from Sunderland who served us was most helpful and apologetic. Our room was literally next door to the cellar and at 8 o’clock in the morning we were woke by the clanging of beer kegs whilst the staff were sorting out the beer delivery. The two guys sorting the delivery were very apologetic at the disruption being caused. To conclude I had booked this hotel for a special trip we were making to Lapland UK for my young son and mum who is recovering from breast cancer for the second time. I was so disappointed with this hotel and our accommodation and I would definitely not recommend staying here!
