9,6 Excellent
Pros: Ideally situated. Rooms were clean and spacious and the beds very comfortable.
Cons: Beware - the bath was very slippery when taking a shower.
7,9 Good
Pros: The hotel is a little way from the centre with lots of building work going on. It looks as if this area is to become a vibrant area with eateries popping up. Tne hotel was lovely, we booked it as a last night in Boston treat. The pool is lovely but steam rooms segregated to the shower rooms so unfortunately my husband and I were not able to enjoy together. We would also have lived a jacuzzi. But maybe this is more a business trip hotel rather than a spa one?

Pros: The location
Cons: The room decor is dated.
9,7 Excellent
Pros: Location was excellent. Hotel was beautiful, comfortable and very clean.
Cons: Service in dining room was poor. The manager told me I was reading the menu incorrectly, then once I pointed it out to her, she acknowledged I was correct. Later came back to tell me that I should remember for future reference that what was printed on the menu was actually wrong and what she told me was right!
10,0 Excellent
Pros: Great location, nice having pub and restaurant in hotel and bed super comfy!
9,2 Excellent
Pros: The location. The room was large and comfortable. The bed was especially comfortable with good linens.
Cons: The lack of a coffee maker in the room.

Cons: The process between booking.com and hotel is confusing. We needed to leave a day earlier and no one knew how to handle this.
1,0 Poor
Pros: The staff were very helpful and friendly.

6,3 Good
Pros: Location
Cons: Staff attitude ranged from amateur to obsequious.
9,2 Excellent
Pros: The property was great and the staff was exactly what you’d expect from the Four Seasons. They made my birthday feel special.
Cons: I came to the realization pretty quickly that I was paying for the hotel “name” and the real estate. I’ve had much nicer accommodations in far less expensive hotel brands. But hey, now I can say I’ve stayed at The Four Seasons.
8,8 Excellent
Pros: Staff very friendly
Cons: First day we were out for 6 hours then returned to the room we had left and had to ask for the housekeeper to visit
7,9 Good
Pros: The bed
Cons: The view of the room in addition to the noise from ac machines on top of the podium.
8,8 Excellent
Pros: Staff exceedingly attentive. Every individual was delightful and willing to please. Location was superior for our needs. Dining room was comfortable with a pleasant view of Boston Common. Also enjoyed the bar area.
Cons: Room layout was odd, with the bathroom right next to the bed. Restaurant dining options were limited. After checking in, after traveling all day we were looking for a light meal and ended settling for a hamburger and a bowl of soup. We found the in-room dining had different options and wonder why these were not available in the restaurant. Food and beverage prices were high even by hotel dining standards. Lobby was sterile and not very comfortable.
10,0 Excellent
Pros: Loved everything about staying at the Four Seasons Boston. The service was impeccable and they really made us feel "at home." My kids especially loved the welcome wagon and cookies and milk :) The hotel was clean, warm and inviting and I would absolutely stay there again. Highly recommend!

R4 246+
Overview Reviews
A stay at The Verb Hotel places you in the heart of Boston, steps from Fenway Park and Kenmore Square. Featured amenities include complimentary newspapers in the lobby, dry cleaning/laundry services, and a 24-hour front desk.
10,0 Excellent
Pros: The staff was very accommodating after we explained our situation. They even allowed us late checkout. Great place
6,0 Good
Pros: The location was good and it was decorated very retro and on trend. Not a typical hotel chain where everything looks the same. I also liked that they had complimentary coffee and water in the lobby and the room.
Cons: The fan was broken in the room and I mentioned it to two people at the front desk. Both said that they would send someone up with a replacement. That did not happen. Front desk associates were chatting with the valet or using a personal cell.
10,0 Excellent
Pros: Fun and convenient place to stay at a reasonable price.
Cons: Record players in the rooms were a cool idea but mind didn't work properly.
8,0 Excellent
Pros: Super friendly staff, great location, fun vibe!
6,0 Good
Pros: the way the hotel had a theme of music and was different to normal
Cons: When we got there, there was another charge of $16.00 to use the pool and bar which we were not told about previously. Also we used the pool but there was nowhere to get drinks until 5pm, would have been good to have somewhere to get drinks.
7,5 Good
Pros: Breakfast was typical hotel food but good! I liked the baseball imprint on the waffles and the live music on Saturday morning! Nice touch :)
Cons: Our air conditioning stopped working on night 3:4 nights and the room was hot. Other than that our stay was quite nice!
8,8 Excellent
Pros: Good vibe in excellent location
Cons: We ask for early check in and we could get it not before noon time
9,6 Excellent
Pros: Awesome place to stay! The staff put it best,”we’re a hotel that strives to feel a little like a bed and breakfast.” Staff are great. Impossibly helpful and willing to chat. The rock ‘n roll artifacts are a lot of fun and interesting. Don’t miss the stairway to heaven.
Cons: The ONLY thing that would be better is more artifacts from The Cars and The Pixies. The Who - while in a league by themselves - is over-represented for a city with significant contributions to rock ‘n roll.
10,0 Excellent
Cons: no
8,3 Excellent
Pros: The bathroom was stylish and practical. Excellent unique ambiance overall property. Friendly staff.
Cons: I paid a $55 parking fee and tipped a valet for someone merely holding on to my car keys. I parked my own car, carried my own luggage in and out of the hotel, and my car remained in the exact same spot in a nearly empty parking lot. What is the parking fee for?
9,2 Excellent
Pros: Very cool atmosphere and location.
Cons: Valet being a requirement is not something I expected. Not the worst thing, but an extra expense nonetheless.
10,0 Excellent
Pros: The heated pool is like a huge, perfectly calibrated, warm bath!
Cons: I can’t comment. Everything was brilliant.

Cons: Only a working lift and some problems with accepting credit cards, but nothing very important.
7,0 Good
Pros: The hotel had a classy, historic feel to it, with nice furnishings and very clean.
Cons: I was disappointed that there was no common space where you could sit and relax outside of your room. I didn't realize that this was the case before booking; I just assumed it would have a sitting area. Also small bathroom with too little counter space.

Pros: The in room dining food was surprisingly poor, After having Easter brunch at your hotel this Year, the best food ever!, I was looking forward To your in room menu after two long days of Meetings. The Godfrey Hotel Boston - Boston - Building
8
9,0 Excellent (3 041 reviews)
R4 644+
Overview Reviews
Nestled in the very heart of Downtown Crossing, The Godfrey Hotel Boston is mere steps to theater, shopping, nightlife, dining, public transportation, the Boston Common, financial district office towers, the Freedom Trail and Chinatown.
4,0 Okay
Pros: Nice staff let us check in early. Had no problem with us hanging out in the lobby when our flight was delayed.
Cons: REALLY tiny room. Kind of a snooty vibe, even though the "Downtown Crossing" neighborhood is a little sketchy. Be careful walking around at night!
9,6 Excellent
Pros: Place is super cool. Great design and use of the old building. Great reception ambience and very nice rooms.
Cons: The place has ups and downs. Internet is a disaster. Breakfast option is limited to the next door coffee shop with no sturdy options.
8,0 Excellent
Cons: Room had a strange layout, was very dark. Only had 1 window to an inner courtyard, very dark.
10,0 Excellent
Pros: Excellent stay/ extremely helpful customer service
Cons: Can't think of anything
9,6 Excellent
Pros: Excellent location. The coffee shop next to it was good and convenient
Cons: It had all the modern conveniences. Modern look in an old building. Beautiful architecture around the elevators and staircase
9,2 Excellent
Pros: The room was spacious, modern and comfortable. The location was excellent for the subway and close to Boston Common. Staff were always helpful. Although the hotel was on a busy street, we were never troubled by noise.
Cons: A little more storage space in the room would have been useful i.e. a bedside table on both sides of the bed, more hangers and some drawer space.
7,5 Good
Cons: They won't price match except 2 days before you check in. This would normally be fine but we had been hiking with no service the entire week before. When we called reservation when we were headed to the hotel they said it would be fine and the people at check in would handle it. Of course they did not and said they wouldn't match. So if you stay here just book last minute when their prices are ~$100 less than booking ahead of time.

Cons: Nothing We really had a great time and will return

9,2 Excellent
Pros: The food was good
9,0 Excellent
Pros: Location - easy to get everywhere!
Cons: One of the headboards looked like it was damaged and I did not notice until I moved a pillow.
9,2 Excellent
Pros: The hotel looks and feels great and classy. Despite its location, it is really quiet. The hotel is located in close vicinity of downtown and historical center of Boston. For example, it took us 30 minutes of nice walk to get to Boston Tea Party museum. It takes 10 minutes of walk to get to the beautiful Boston Public Garden. The staff is great, helpful and polite.
Cons: I didn't like that a room with 2 queen sized bed was proposed as allowing 5 persons accommodation. In order to allow somehow comfortable sleeping arrangements, I had to order an additional folding double bed, being charged for it. Also, valet parking is a bit pricey
10,0 Excellent

Cons: Nothing!

5,0 Okay
Pros: I like the location of the property.
Cons: I did not like very small room for a family of six. My dad had to sleep on the floor and my husband has to wake up a couple of times because he almost fell in the bed. Take note that I paid for a family room. No extra comforter or anything.
9,2 Excellent
Pros: Bed was super comfortable. Room was very quiet and I could not hear the street noise. Service was impressive and staff were friendly.

10,0 Excellent
Pros: Nice location easy to get around.
Cons: This was a 5 star I have stayed at 4 star that I thought were equal.
7,1 Good
Pros: The location is very good
Cons: Check out was difficult as charges were added to our room that weren’t ours. A meeting room charge added to a family room should have raised concern and shouldn’t have been added to our bill. We were obviously not part of the large conference that was taking place.
10,0 Excellent
Pros: The staff was very nice and very helpful
9,0 Excellent
Pros: Very quiet!!! Excellent bedding
Cons: Phone was not working

7,7 Good
Pros: The location was he best part of this hotel. Everything downtown was a short, safe walk (T stops, Fanuel Hall, Quincy Market). The room was small for the price but it was well kept. Everything was clean and staff was quick to respond to any requests we had.
Cons: Our AC/Heater broke on our last day there so we had to move rooms because it could not be fixed that night. It kept making an awful buzzing noise every few seconds and would have made sleeping impossible. It was about 8:30 at night and it was really the last thing we wanted to do. Fortunately, they had another room available, and they told us it was an upgrade (it wasn’t), but it was still a process to have to pack all of our stuff up and move it. No discount was offered for the inconveniece. Otherwise the stay would have been perfect.
9,1 Excellent
Pros: Staff very helpful.
Cons: The price of brunch.
10,0 Excellent
Pros: the friendly staff and beautiful reception areas
Cons: faultless
10,0 Excellent
Pros: The quality of service at the Langham is exceptional. I've never stayed in a hotel where the staff were universally excellent, the accommodations so truly comfortable, and so many lovely extras included. I stayed following an historic blizzard in Boston, and being in that space, so warmly greeted, every need considered -- I can't say enough about how wonderful this establishment is. I would stay again, every time I'm in Boston!
Cons: Nothing.
8,0 Excellent
Pros: Very attractive lobby area; extrenely personable and professional staff.
Cons: Bathrooms and towels were not what a hotel charging $700/night should be offering.

4,2 Okay
Pros: Staff was very friendly and enthusiastic
Cons: Dated & Tired, especially considering the price tag
9,1 Excellent
Pros: Clean, quiet, and relatively posh with ample room size. Luxury, but not high end luxury...hotel has good bones, but is older. Still a nice place to stay
Cons: Modern amenities in rooms for technology not really available...no charging ports, limited plugs even near the desk. Also the restaurant was not open at 8:00 pm on a Tuesday, just the bar with a more limited menu.

10,0 Excellent
Pros: Central location for our purposes: close to T and good restaurants. Helpful, courteous staff-convenient adjoining restaurant for breakfast.
Cons: Nightly rate is misleading because of numerous taxes and amenity fee add-one-WOW!
7,0 Good
Pros: The location is great
9,6 Excellent
Pros: Location is perfect! Staff is wonderful and super friendly, they flagged a cab for us to get to our dinner reservations. Super accommodating and kind. Deluxe king room was perfect size for a quick overnight getaway, very comfy and clean! Highly recommend.
7,1 Good
Pros: The room is clean and the hotel mostly friendly. Internet works well. The Island Creek is just downstairs and we dined there regularly when we resided in Boston. It's a great restaurant.
Cons: The 25$ resort fee is an outrage. For what? A bit of pastry and coffee that must be consumed by 0900. Water that is complimentary for most people at Marriott and Hilton. The size of the soap is a joke.... not much bigger than a quarter.
10,0 Excellent
Pros: This was a gorgeous hotel that offered lovely amenities. Large room that was beautifully appointed, chic lobby and great staff.
Cons: The only negative on this was that it was a bit of a walk to all the action, but super close to Fenway Park. The only other small thing was there was no coffee/tea machine in the room, which most hotels provide.
10,0 Excellent
Pros: Room was big and bed was so comfy. Staff was super nice. They also have a good restaurant here. They went above and beyond .
7,0 Good
Pros: Staff was friendly and helpful. Hotel was clean.
Cons: Daily resort fee. Location too far from sights. Traffic noise kept us awake at night.
9,0 Excellent
Pros: One staff member deserves a huge recommendation. His name is Corey and he assisted us so well on arrival with an early check in and room change (due to position). He escorted through the changes and made the stay memorable. He offered advise on what to do and where to go ( especially which Cheers Bar) He also arranged a later check out to accommodate our flight which we were happy to pay a little extra for. Well done Corey.. On departure the bell hop and doorman were great as well. It’s not a cheap hotel for South Africans but the service makes all the difference.
5,4 Okay
Pros: Position
Cons: they charge 25 usd per night for "additional info" which are not requested!!!!
10,0 Excellent
Pros: Great location. Lovely hotel with wonderful room. Very nice staff all around. We will definitely return!!

Pros: The King Executive Suite was more than perfect. It was comfortable and had a great view overlooking commonwealth avenue. The extra space and the window seats were perfect after a long day of meetings! The staff was extremely courteous when I forgot some of my own toiletry items and were quick to my assistance.
Cons: The refrigerator made some loud noises but other than that there was nothing I didn’t like.
9,0 Excellent
Pros: The classy and sophistication of the room.
Cons: The fact that there wasn’t enough bottle water in the refrigerator

Pros: location
Cons: TV was broken KEURIG coffee maker broken
9,6 Excellent
Pros: Location was perfect and the facilities were clean and comfortable! The staff was very helpful.
Cons: I didn’t like that breakfast wasn’t included in your stay for the price you pay for the hotel. You are paying for location which is perfect and the views are gorgeous. They do have a star bucks in the lobby as well as the restaurant but still provide you with keurig coffee in the morning which is nice!

Pros: Location, view, cleanliness
8,0 Excellent
Pros: Nice room, good view and location. Staff were very helpful. Concierge Jeffrey was very helpful in obtaining our boarding passes since business center was closed for repairs.
Cons: Had several instances where room keys didn't work in elevator or room entry. Room was hot, AC didn't seem to work the first night. Complimentary or more reasonably priced breakfast would have been nice considering we paid for 2 rooms. $29 per person
6,0 Good
Cons: Our room was very very small and although we didn't want housekeeping early am housekeeping was declined we didn't get trash emptied and room service was not good.
9,6 Excellent
Pros: The "Club" breakfast was quite good - better than many similar "included" breakfasts for hotel club members. Also, the staff was very attentive, front desk, restaurant and housekeeping. Everyone made the stay pleasant and memorable.
Cons: The bar - which is well located, seemed to have little variety in the way of ciders and beers. In an area of the country so well known for these things, the sense was that there was not much effort put into consideration for promoting these wonderful local offerings. Example - they had only one cider available and it was a "national" brand, from the area mind you, but still....
8,0 Excellent
Pros: Location perfect! Loved walking to aquarium and shops and restaurants at Quincy market and boat tours ! Hotel was clean. Room small but was fine to sleep 4, not much drawers no dresser, just two smalll drawers under tv. Pool small so too crowded
Cons: Pool too small

Cons: Room prices on the high end, but overall quality, services and location still make it worthwhile.
10,0 Excellent
Pros: The bedding (down comforter, great pillows), and the air quality/climate control were outstanding. The room was spacious and beautifully appointed, and the bed was actually more comfortable than my bed and home (and I'm fussy). The pool was excellent.

Pros: One of the most beautiful hotels I have ever stayed at. Immaculate and very friendly/attentive. The view was unreal!
1,0 Poor
Pros: This is usually our go to in and out of Logan, we love the water taxis and the location.
Cons: The fire alarm went of at 3 am. Then again at 4:15 am. The staff made no offers of compensation or complementary anything to make up for the property’s system glitch. It really sucked.
8,0 Excellent
Pros: Staff was super nice and friendly. Very clean hotel. Cool views of the harbor and of airport. Food was good.
Cons: I was quite cold. Had to take a blanket out of the closet and even then I was cold. Had to boost heat up to 75... not very healthy.
5,0 Okay
Pros: Nice location. Like to outside space with tableside fires. Just a pity there was no server on in the area.
Cons: Boston Logan info says there is a courtesy bus but none arrived after 30 minutes waiting. Called hotel and they said pickup would be sent in 20 mins. Got an uber. Shower in room cold. No toilet paper. No coffee cup. Shared feedback at reception - said thanks we'll let the engineer know about the shower... Staff don't seem comfortable and happy at this hotel.

9,0 Excellent
Pros: View of boston from lobby/dining room was the best around. Delicious room service. Awesome beds and room.

Pros: Location next to the airport was great because you can get there quickly, but what is best is that there are not many places in Boston that have a shuttle at the hotel to the airport. THE VIEW!!!! I stayed on the 10th floor with a harbor view and it as spectacular day and night. Rooms are sound proof and I never heard one plane take off or land.
Cons: Price was a little high.

Pros: The proximity to the airport, the free shuttle
