Pros: Attended a friends wedding here on Monday. Could not fault the hotel, rooms where fantastic, modern and very classy far exceed our expectations. Everywhere was spotless. The staff, all of them so efficient and friendly. helpful with any questions, kept the wedding moving with humour and efficiency. Food, for the whole wedding was gorgeous and next day breakfast did not disapoint. I wish we didn't live so near or I would be a regualar visitor. Although a few meals there have my name on them. Thank again to everyone at Nuthurst for a truly lovely stay.

Pros: They gave us a room in a quiet zone so the baby wouldn't be disturbed. We got a very quiet room and were delighted.
Cons: Room service wasn't great. Stained teaspoons in the coffee/tea caddy were worrying. The baby's crib had a solid base and he really didn't like it. We used the bedspread from our bed as a mattress and he slept straight away. The next morning Room Service put the bedspread back on our bed. Obviously a comfy baby isn't a priority

9,2 Excellent
Pros: Staff, customer service was appropriate being friendly and not over familiar... Excellent, made our trip.
Cons: Breakfast excellent, but not keen on brasserie... But that's my personal choice.
5,8 Okay
Pros: The breakfast and dinner in the hotel was very good , the staff and service was attentive and smiley . The grounds are stunning and a great location .
Cons: The room we were in was December , a cold and dreary month, so well named . The mirrored chest of draws only had two handles , six were missing ! The wardrobe was such poor quality the door didn't shut properly ! The standard lamp had a shade that was broken and stained ! One of the chairs in the window was badly stained . When opening the window the catch was broken and there was a pile of bird droppings on the ledge and on the glass . The curtains were falling off the track and were in shreds , a touch of the Miss Haversham !!! No towel rail in the bathroom , only one hand towel supplied ! For the cost of the room one would expect bath robes , but not supplied ! The wooden box in the bedroom containing the bath is an eyesore ! Overall one of the worst hotel rooms we have ever stayed in and we have stayed in many all over the world , this one is a contender for bottom spot . For a fraction of the price we should have stayed at the Premier Inn , a much higher standard of accommodation .
9,2 Excellent
Pros: Location, surrounded by trees and great gardens.
Cons: Towel rail in bathroom boiling hot!
9,2 Excellent
Pros: Amazing breakfast ! Really comfortable bed.
Cons: Insonorisation and bathroom could have been better.

Pros: A quiet location just on the border of outskirts, nicely decorated, but with rooms only accessible by stairs and narrow corridors. Parking is spacious at the front and back. Rooms are comfortable and playable too. I am very fond of this good looking old building in a pleasant condition.
Cons: The front desk is lack of handy staff who has got quick and efficient mind. Pros: Nicely refurbished hotel very conveniently located in Solihull town center. Very comfortable. Nice fitness center and pool. Competitively priced
Cons: Very minor point - the shampoo, soap dispensers in the bathroom have been empty on two of our last three visits. Check room when you arrive!

Pros: The room was lovely and very comfortable. I liked that you were able to stream from your phone to the tv so we were able to relax and watch netflix

6,7 Good
Pros: Breakfast was ok. Not much choice. Limited pastries and breads. Not much fresh fruit selection. Staff service mediocre
Cons: That this hotel promotes the fact that it has a pool - yet charged us £5 each to use (as it wasn't part of our room rate). This was not made clear, and we paid and did not get a chance to use in the end. Not happy about that. Also, the staff in the hotel bar were not that friendly. Long delay to get served, gym locals prioritised over other guests who were waiting a while.

Cons: Not enough towels
3,8 Mediocre
Pros: When we arrived we were told we were getting the last room available although we had booked the room which confused us. Then we were given a room, went up and there was someone in that room. We then went back down and were given a different room, which we were told was booked for someone else, which was once again confusing! There was stains on the floor in the bathroom and on the sheets and the bed was really not comfortable.
Cons: When we arrived the check in process was not easy.

Pros: Wish I knew his name but guy on reception thurs morning (please see who it was) was awesome and came to let us know when room ready as well as arranging for our bags to be taken to the room! Thank you. Also food was lovely x
Cons: Nasty looking stain on child mattress. Looked like poo stain as well as urine stain. Only found when I took sheets off after my youngest granddaughters nappy leaked. My granddaughter heard staff complaining that breakfast customers were 'doing her head in' on friday am. Shame.

Pros: Food was okay but waiter didn't seem to know what he was doing. We asked for toast and were told it was defrosting! Then he brought a pile of white toast on a plate, no choice of brown! Not a friendly waiter or the one on duty previous evening.
Cons: Towels were not in room. Receptionist said she would have them ready by the time we finished our meal. They were not. The waiter had to find them and came back with a pile, he said he had never been in the laundry room before so did not know what to look for!
8,8 Excellent
Pros: Very nice grounds, clean rooms, decor very good
Cons: No information about the hotel, where breakfast and what time it was. Seemed there was a shortage of staff, although the chap who served us in reception when we arrived, he also was serving in the bar, and the following morning served the breakfast, was friendly and very polite.
4,2 Okay
Cons: Too many problems to list
7,5 Good
Pros: Unfortunately we were given a disabled bedroom which was fantastic for someone who needed these facilities, but absolutely not for an able bodied person. The bacon and tomatoes at breakfast had definitely been reheated, also in the breakfast room there was no proper facilities for making tea, only a coffee machine.
Cons: See above
5,4 Okay
Pros: Location
Cons: Unfriendly welcome from under pressure reception staff who were either on the telephone or dealing with complaints from guests. One guy managing bar, restaraunt and dining room in the evening. I gave up waiting at the bar and went to a local pub.

Cons: No wifi which was advertised and a reason why I book hotels Tv reception terrible, most channels pixelated so badly you could not watch them Male staff walked in while I was in bed (on my own) apologised and left. Was a shock to me and he should have known I hadn't checked out.

Pros: The owners were excellent hosts, really friendly and accommodating. Just genuinely nice people. Rooms were clean. Loved that they had water in the fridges. The rooms are little chalets in the garden which I thought was so cute, they felt safe and secure and I had a very comfortable stay here. I would definitely return to the Redlands Guest House if I am visiting Birmingham again
Cons: Rooms aren't very big but comfortable Needs some redecoration, but I believe the owners are planning to do this soon. TV remote didn't work

Pros: Beautiful setting in the garden.
Cons: No b&b sign outside or on the gate, our room needed a little tlc (shower head holder broken, bathroom window latch broken, bottom bedside table drawer broken).

Pros: Hosts were lovely. Very helpful and interesting to chat with. Planned refurbishments should make "good" become "excellent".
Cons: We would have liked our room to be serviced every day.
10,0 Excellent
Pros: Made to feel welcome, the chalet type rooms were comfortable and homely, with tea/coffee making facilities, a fridge, microwave, plates, bowls and cutlery. The breakfast, full English, a good selection of cereals, toast (help yourself) preserves, tea coffee and orange juice all served in the light and airy conservatory. The garden is beautiful and very peaceful. A Massive 10 out of 10.
Cons: Absolutely Nothing...
9,2 Excellent
Pros: Breakfast was fantastic, location great for resorts world, owners can't do enough for you extremely hospitable. Beautiful grounds and the log cabins we're a treat to stay in. Thumbs up.
Cons: Owners only been there for 3 months so still finding their feet but doing a fab job. Cabin could do with a little TLC and a few things fixing and replacing but I'm sure that the new owners will sort out the teething problems out quickly.

Pros: The seclusion of location and friendly staff.
Cons: Breakfast was cooked well. Its was served on time and presented nicely.

7,1 Good
Pros: Close to the airport
8,8 Excellent
Cons: Standard of room although the friendly and helpful staff found another room - great improvement.
3,1 Mediocre
Pros: Not much really, the breakfast was pretty good.
Cons: Our room was double booked, an irritation but these things happen. We came back from our evening out and were promised a room had been sorted, we went upstairs and walked in on another guest sleeping! Fortunately they extremely calm but this is completely unacceptable. We then tried another room and the same thing happened! Finally on the third attempt and after an hour of waiting we were provided a room. This has completely ruined my hotel experience and simply cannot recommend this hotel.
4,6 Okay
Cons: The chair is not high enough to work with the desk. They didn't provide a bottle of water for my room.
5,4 Okay
Pros: Breakfast was good and great service.
Cons: Over priced very small room.
5,4 Okay
Pros: Comfy beds, helpful staff
Cons: We had a room booked for 3 people. However bed was not out or made up when we arrived. Not enough towels or hangers for 3 people. Tiny room for 3 people. Hot water did not work - so moved to another bedroom. All of this happened at midnight - when we were expecting to arrive and get into bed. Moved to new room, slightly bigger. Tap on sink was loose/wobbly. Sink would not drain. Disgustingly dirty sink plug hole - lots of dirt and hair.
4,6 Okay
Pros: Not much
Cons: Dirty bathroom, hairs in bath, air conditioning loud and not functioning
5,4 Okay
Pros: Friendly staff is huge advantage of that place. I also liked the typical English breakfast:) Beautiful entrance and lobby are great place for some rest.
Cons: The rooms were dirty, the dust was on the furniture and the floor in the bathroom wasn’t cleaned. The big disadvantage is the carpet which smells badly and isn’t washed regularly.
8,8 Excellent
Pros: This hotel is in a great location for the NEC and the airport with free parking and within walking distance. The rooms are nice spacious and clean. I've stayed here 5 times now
Cons: I have to say that this time we found the hotel cold. From arriving the room was cold turned the heating up but took several hours to get just warm. Went down to the bar which was also cold. I said to the barman how cold it was and he agreed it was and turned the heating up but with the doors continually opening and one remaining constantly open with the temerature outside -2C it wasn't comfortable most people had their coats on. The same the next morning in the breakfast room I could feel the cold air on my feet and legs!
7,9 Good
Pros: The location of the hotel is great if you need to walk to the NEC, airport and businesses in the trinity park area.
Cons: Is a bit 90s in the rooms and needs some remediation work in the corridors to fix door frames and walls from years of luggage catching.

Pros: Breakfast is good, but expensive for someone like me with a small appetite. Room comfortable but--(see next point)
Cons: there is a lack of variety of pillows in the bedroom. They were all far too puffy for me, and all the same. Also quality of most evening meals was disappointing,
8,3 Excellent
Pros: The leisure centre was lovely and relaxing
Cons: No heating and fan not working in bathroom
7,1 Good
Pros: I liked the room and it was close to where I needed to be. My stay was generally comfortable. The staff were helpful.
Cons: My room had a few issues, nothing major, but enough to be annoying. The bathroom plug didn't work so I had to operate it manually. Then it was fixed, but the drain smelt, so I had to leave the extractor fan on, which was noisy.
7,5 Good
Pros: Swimming pool was nice but busy. Nice enough guy on check in.
Cons: booked executive room which stated extra large double/ king size bed. Was a small normal double bed in the room I was given. Noisy whirring like machinery all night long kept me awake. Rooms very tired and need an update. Very hot in the room. Tired room.. Noisy hotel where room situated. No tea bags in room to make a drink.
8,3 Excellent

10,0 Excellent

10,0 Excellent
Pros: The beds were very comfortable with 2firm pillows.
Cons: Bedroom too far to get to for 2 77yrs pensioners.
9,2 Excellent
Pros: Excellent location; efficient and friendly staff - especially our server in the restaurant.
Cons: Room was baking hot and the person who serviced the room insisted on opening the window letting the external (hotter) air in.
4,2 Okay
Cons: The restaurant was closed during my stay, and the front desk staff were not as accommodating as I’m usually used to staying at other hotels. We’ve already spoke to the management about check in. Bathroom in room smelt of damp and the floor is uneven, with no extra ventilation (aircon) rooms need updating.
3,8 Mediocre
Pros: Nothing
Cons: The room decor, size and cleanliness. The dirty, shabby bar area. The restaurant closing 20 mins before it should have done. Staff not offering to help with baggage. The lift stuttering to the second floor.
3,8 Mediocre
Pros: They have forgotten what the role of a Hotel is, it was as if the guests were there to serve them
Cons: Everything the service has disappeared down the toilet. It was aweful!!!!!!!!!!!!! I will not be staying again ever. I would rather sleep in the car
