Excellent 9,2
Pros: Clean, comfortable and Ashley (the manager) is super lovely and makes you feel super welcome Breakfast is superb
Cons: The location is a bit out of hand but if you are into walking it will take you around 40 min to reach Oxford City centre walking and around 10 min by bus It is in front of the Wolvercote Cemetery (the one that holds JRR Tolkien tomb)

Cons: The breakfast would of be better if it was not a buffet
Excellent 8,3
Pros: Quiet location and easy to find, but a bit out of the way if you are in Oxford for seeing the sites. Perfectly acceptable for business travelers. Nice complimentary tea, coffee, snacks and water in the room. Staff was also very friendly and helpful. We checked out before breakfast was to be served, but were still offered (unprompted) anything we could manage from the kitchen as a cold breakfast.
Cons: Very minor, but as an older property doors could be loud to close and the comings and goings of guests to rooms around mine was noticeable. Felt like you had to tiptoe about a bit ourselves. Once well asleep, however, noise was not an issue.
Excellent 9,0
Pros: Friendly welcome, hotel located a little distance from the centre of Oxford. Lots of buses or a half an hour walk into town which was fine for us.
Excellent 10,0
Pros: Fantastic local close to the Centre... Fresh clean rooms and parking aplenty!

Cons: Poor wifi. But for me it wasn't a problem.

Pros: Location, atmosphere, staff.

Excellent 9,0
Pros: Nice quiet room , despite the bar below. Friendly, helpful, clean and comfy. What more do you need?
Cons: Breakfast starts at 8.00. That might be a little late if you have an early business meeting.
Excellent 8,0
Pros: The room was nice and spacious Breakfast really good. Location for Blenheim couldn’t have been better. Staff excellent.
Cons: Husband has Mobility problems so the stairs were an issue also bath instead of walk in shower.I should have checked this out myself otherwise Excellent.Well worth
Excellent 8,0

Excellent 10,0

Excellent 8,0
Pros: The place where it's situated is in lovely surroundings very nice place.
Cons: We always stay here when we visit Oxford. .slightly dissapointed this time seems to have gone down from when we stayed just before Xmas. .The 1.staff that wad there just said good morning but we're very reluctant to hold a conversation we were the only ones for breakfast very limited choice and much smaller portions than previously... think we were the only ones staying usually very busy but i do think staff need to communicate with customers more ...it's a shame as it's a lovely place...
Excellent 8,0
Pros: Excellent breakfast, friendly, helpful staff, everywhere very clean and excellent location for Blenheim and Oxford. Would certainly recommend.
Cons: Nothing considering what we paid.
Excellent 9,0
Pros: We missed breakfast this time, but usually it's very good.
Cons: nothing specific.
Excellent 8,0
Pros: Room was larger than I expected it to be and the beds comfortable. The bathroom had been modernised to a good standard, not easy for an older building. We decided to have a "carpet picnic" in our room for dinner and there was a supermarket located less than 5 minutes walk away. The breakfast included in the room rate was provided in the co-located cafe/restaurant, which was good quality.
Cons: Check in process was not ideal. Although my booking confirmation stated that check in was 2-6pm, the office was unattended when we arrived at a little after 5pm. I had to ring a couple of the different numbers listed on the doorway before getting an answer, from someone located at a different property. When the girl did arrive she was pleasant and the check in went smoothly from there. Just not a great experience when you've been travelling all day and you're feeling tired.
Excellent 8,0
Pros: Bed very comfortable
Cons: Lighting for putting makeup on
Excellent 10,0
Pros: It was fab! Very clean, great facilities, stunning breakfast Very pleasant staff

Good 7,0
Pros: Bed was like home
Cons: Our room was smaller so should of cost less. Some residents in late were noisy , chatting and banged doors . Also in the morning people up early didn’t consider guests in rooms asleep !!!!!
Good 7,5
Pros: The location was ideal for us.
Cons: The only downside was when other guests walked along the corridor to their rooms it felt as if they were in the room with you it was that noisy

Mediocre 2,0
Pros: Hot food cold cereal very nice, couldn't get to sleep due to close door noise, and noise travelling through floating floors
Mediocre 2,9
Pros: Friendly staff Excellent location Clean & modern Excellent breakfast Good value.
Cons: Dining room was cold (February). Radiators were off and outside door was open,
Excellent 10,0
Pros: Bed very comfy. Staff very friendly and accommodating. Breakfast choice was excellent. Will definitely stay here again if ever back in Oxford
Excellent 9,6
Pros: Breakfast and bed
Cons: View from window of refuse bins. They forgot to book taxi for 9am
Excellent 10,0
Pros: Very well mannered staff excellent system great great facility lovely breakfast
Excellent 8,0
Pros: Location of the Galaxie is excellent with a bus stop right outside that goes straight to the town centre, only a few stops and quicker than walking. Lots of little shops, bars and restaurants around it and best of all (and rare in Oxford) free parking. Joyce was super friendly and helpful with advice of where to go and what to see. Breakfast was excellent and so much choice which is amazing for the size of the hotel, hot cooked breakfast alongside buffet continental.
Cons: I stayed in room 209 and it was on the front which was fine as the windows kept the noise out, however it could do with some proper curtains or blinds at the window as the ones there aren't sufficient for keeping out the light.

Pros: Comfy bed, nice décor.
Cons: Check in and Check out process was shambolic, staff did not appear to understand the system. Restaurant staff were poorly trained.
Excellent 8,0
Pros: Location wasn't far from Oxford city center, a short taxi journey, check in was so easy and the hotel was extremely clean, unfortunately didn't manage to use the facilities but it looked lovely.
Cons: Nothing
Excellent 8,8
Cons: Price should include breakfast

Pros: Breakfast except for The coffee
Cons: Small room, tiny bathroom, small pool Long walk to room No Soap in bathroom No minibar in room
Excellent 9,4
Pros: Great Staff! Great workout room and Sauna!
Good 7,0
Pros: breakfast
Cons: bathrooms were a bit small and didn't like the glass doors.
Good 6,8
Pros: Staff were friendly
Cons: THe hotel is geting a big refurbishment. Restaurant is closed, so rather than eat breakfast in a conferance room, we went into the city instead. In the bedrooms, the choice of opaque glass door to the bathroom was an odd one. Especially as in my room it faces directly onto the bed. I may look stylish, but is not particularly sound proof! And if anyone wants to us the bath room in thhe night, the doors is lit up like an enormous night light!
Excellent 9,0
Pros: Good location. Easy to get bus into Oxford.Hotel is quite modern with good choices for eating.
Mediocre 2,8
Pros: the place was clean
Cons: Jurys Inn had no charm. It was a modern space, dorm room style maze. A lot of eastern European workers with no charm. The red head curly haired euro woman need to learn to smile. I hated my stay here. No food at night. Cold AC. Wankers!
Excellent 8,2
Cons: No elevators. Long walks to

Pros: The staff were both friendly and helpful Breakfast was excellent. The location was perfect for what we wanted
Cons: The bed was uncomfortable and too soft. The sink tap really needed a good clean and de scaling.
Excellent 10,0
Pros: homely and lovely staff
Cons: nothing st all
Good 7,1
Pros: Big comfy bed and lovely staff. Perfect location for park and ride into Oxford centre
Cons: Fitness suite moved into an old bedroom with limited air con. Room fridge decommissioned- now an odd cupboard. Door scratched. Mismatching sealant in bathroom. Bath water tepid
Excellent 9,0
Pros: Fab base for a trip into oxford city centre. Right next to a park and ride too
Excellent 9,0
Pros: It's situated near to where we needed to be and provided a good level of service combined with comfortable accomodation at a competitive price.
Cons: The outlook from the room was a little dark as there were mature trees close to the building which blocked the light. These were preferable to a view of the car park or services at the other side however.
Excellent 9,0
Pros: I paid online requesting also sofa bed, which was readied with linen and extra towels when I checked in -thoughtful! The room and bath were sparkling clean. We didn't need to pay our teenage sons extra for b'fast which was tasty. Easy parking and grocery.
Excellent 8,0
Pros: Very pleasant stay. Helpful and pleasant staff. Full room rates feel a bit expensive though.
Excellent 8,3
Pros: Close to Park & Ride
Cons: Crossing roads to bus stop - shrubs obscure view of approaching cars on mini island.

Excellent 10,0
Pros: Old quirky historic and very cosy
Excellent 8,0
Pros: Service was always with a smile and the food was to a very high standard.
Cons: Only criticism was service at breakfast was a little slow.
Excellent 10,0
Pros: Location was ideal and peaceful. Staff were very polite and helpful. Able to park my car in front of my room. Room ticked all of the boxes. If you needed additional tea/coffee items, the staff were very much accommodating.
Cons: The Krupp machine did not provide hot enough coffee. Luckily a kettle was provided to satisfy our hot tea and coffee requirements
Excellent 8,3
Pros: Perfect location. Hotel is very nice and right next to Blenheim palace.
Cons: As we was on the ground floor we could hear noise from above room with it being an old building. Floorboards creaking etc
Good 6,7
Pros: I have stayed in this hotel before and love the location/surrounding area. This was the reason we chose to stay again even though we had a wedding at Heythrop Park Resort. Not sure if I would again though
Cons: Hotel staff did not seem interested or helpful. Fire Alarm test on a Monday at 10.30am which is something we were not advised on check in so this woke us up. It went off 3 times and we left our room each time. I mentioned this on check out and the gentleman said we should have read the fire sign. Given a complimentary late check out until 12 which I confirmed with reception on check in then only to get a call in the room to say we should have checked out at 11.30am. Room service no hot food just sandwiches which aren’t the best but pricey. On check out the staff didn’t really acknowledge our issues and when how my stay was I told him the above which he did not like. I prefer to give honest feedback and feel the staff should take this on board.
Good 6,0
Pros: Lovely room. Very comfortable and cosy with a good bed and plenty of hot water. Friendly Head lady on at breakfast. Plenty of gluten free options.
Cons: Very slow breakfast. Waited along time for the breakfast to arrive. Not very comfortable restaurant or bar area. No evening menu until the restaurant opened at 1900 and then very limited choice.
Excellent 10,0
Pros: Hotel is right in the town. Dog basket and ground floor room for our dog. Town is lovely, great pubs and restaurants. Will visit again.
Excellent 9,4
Pros: The room was clean comfortable and surprisingly modern, refurbished sympathetically. The bed was very comfortable with quality linen. Very friendly welcome and old fashioned customer service standards
Excellent 8,0
Pros: It’s position and ground floor room
Cons: Needs a bit of tic and deep cleaning in the rooms ... skirting boards etc x

Pros: Diana is very hospitable, all rooms are clean and the breakfast is great value. Close proximity to Summertime for pubs and restaurants.
Cons: WiFi wasn't great and single rooms are very small for a big man like me!
Excellent 10,0
Pros: The welcome was expansive. Room exactly what I needed. Location ideal.
Cons: Noise from nearby junction was persistent, but I was too tired to stay awake and listen to it.
Good 6,0
Cons: Shower
Okay 5,8
Pros: Location was good, bus stop close by and on weekends it is free to park on the road outside B&B
Cons: Wifi kept cutting out throughout the night, I had a lamp with no bulb, quite expensive considering I had a small room with shared bathroom and no breakfast. Not good value for money.
Good 6,7
Pros: The room was good and tea and coffee making facilities were provided. The young lady running the place was very pleasant and helpful. (I believe she was a local university student working over the summer vacation) The location, although not central, was very close to a frequent bus service
Cons: Although it was adequate, I felt that at £115 per night, it is over-priced. Secondly, although advertised as B and B, no breakfast was available!!!
Excellent 9,6
Pros: Easy parking and access to the town , absolutely perfect , personalised breakfast prepared to order , warm welcome and persistent pleasantness from my host - Diana
Cons: Nothing really comes to mind

Pros: Interesting
Cons: Not really nice place
Good 7,0
Cons: Evening meal curry was tasty but served on cold stainless that looked like ex prison service food tray really spoilt it for me
Good 7,0
Pros: Room was clean and comfy . Owners were friendly and welcoming . Food was good .
Cons: The upstairs bedrooms had recently been painted. The paint smell wasn’t great .
Excellent 10,0
Pros: Owners couldn’t do enough to help, there was a problem with one of the rooms, moved us no issues. Offered lifts to venues close by because they knew taxi firms charged too much. Superb food, try the curry, it’s to die for. The accommodation is a work in progress but the price reflects this. Overall excellent and I would recommend this to any family and friends.
Cons: Nothing
Excellent 9,0

Pros: I didn't have breakfast as I was meeting friends elsewhere . Location is great, and it has parking. The room was at the back of the hotel, rather than overlooking the road, so it was quite quiet. It;'s more of a pub with rooms, but suited me fine
Good 6,7
Pros: Five minute walk to Blenheim palace
Cons: We was in room 4 barely slept as we was above a vent of some sort constant humming noise all night. Didn’t have breakfast second morning as I felt unwell, yet they wouldn’t refund us. We ate in the pub and was put off by the noise of a child creating in the bar (belonging to one of the staff members) We stayed at The Star previously so much nicer
Good 6,7
Pros: The staff were very friendly. The pub was very pretty
Cons: I wouldn't advise anyone have a meal there. We had a different salad each which both mainly consisted of rocket with little/no dressing and paid over the top for them
Good 7,0
Pros: The breakfast met our needs.
Cons: There was nothing you could do about it but there was a great deal of traffic noise. The room, number 1, needs secondary double glazing and heavy curtains.
Excellent 10,0
Pros: breakfast was great location good
Good 6,7
Pros: It was in a convenient location in the centre of Woodstock. Staff friendly and helpful.
Cons: The threadbare stained carpets and nowhere to put anything in the shower room, not even a shelf above the sink. The shower took nearly 5 mins to get hot. The rooms really need updating.
Excellent 9,0
Pros: Staff were lovely; nice cosy inn, good food, quiet location.
Cons: Mattress felt ok but loud & crunchy when one turns over!
