Cons: The breakfast would of be better if it was not a buffet
Excellent 9,2
Pros: Really clean rooms and good breakfast included. Staff were friendly and welcoming.
Good 7,5
Pros: Breakfast was great!
Cons: A bit costly.
Excellent 8,3
Pros: The location was perfect for us to visit the Trout pub where I used to drink 40 years ago. The breakfast was very good, and the staff were very good and helpful.
Cons: The room was very very warm we had the windows open all the time
Excellent 10,0
Pros: Modern, clear, well equipped rooms, good parking
Cons: No where for a night cap
Excellent 8,8
Pros: Really helpful staff - both with booking and actual stay. Generous and tasty breakfast. Very clean rooms. Plenty off street parking. Good bus link with town centre and less than 15 minute walk to Summertown shops and restaurants. Well cared for grounds.
Cons: Our room faced Banbury Rd and there was some traffic noise
Okay 5,8
Pros: Very clean, nice staff.
Cons: Very disappointing overall. It is certainly not a 4 star hotel by any standard. Small rooms, small beds, limited breakfast(also not freshly prepared). No bar/minibar. Basically a b&b, which is fine but not for the price and the misleading 4 star rating.
Good 7,9
Pros: Clean. So easy. close to our daughter's school.
Cons: Actually we may prefer more vegetables as green ones on breakfast Bed was tight. Therefore we slept nerrow.
Excellent 9,6
Pros: This is a great hotel for a short stay in Oxford. The staff were really friendly, everything was spotless and the value for money was excellent.
Excellent 8,3
Pros: breakfast great location great 10 mins into town - super easy!
Cons: Didn't like our room location (front of hotel probably a converted lounge)
Excellent 8,8
Pros: Good location, easy to find. Staff very helpful and rooms are spotless. Beds very comfortable, would definitely stay again

Excellent 10,0
Pros: We felt at home as soon as we arrived, we received a friendly welcome. The building is beautiful!
Excellent 10,0
Pros: It was pleasant to be met by the owner in the car park who helped us with our luggage to our room. Great to have a bedroom on the ground floor with a view of the pretty central courtyard which would be even more perfect on sunny days.
Excellent 8,3
Pros: Beautiful old coaching inn. Quiet room. Good location for Blenheim Palace.
Cons: Much more than I would normally pay for a hotel but my stay did coincide with the horse trials at Blenheim Palace so price was to be expected perhaps.
Good 7,9
Pros: Great breakfast
Excellent 9,6
Pros: The bed was very comfy. The room was very clean and the breakfast was lovely
Cons: There was a Tea party on when we arrived which meant there was no room in the car park for us to park which had been one of the factors for booking as you had a secure car park. I think it may be an idea that the car park is kept for people staying overnight in the Hotel as day users could use the free public car park next door.
Excellent 8,3
Pros: Period features and a shady court yard to have out ore dinner drinks.
Cons: I wasn’t made aware that my bathroom was not actually in my room. Not the end of my world but for some it might be... remembering to take keys/lock up room/ disturb surrounding rooms was a bit of a pain... and the bathroom was extremely compact...to use the sink required some interesting contortionist moves and a larger person than I would seriously struggle with the lack of space. I think all of this should have been brought to my attention before booking the room, given the choice I would have preferred an en-suite. The bedroom was fine- clean, well equipped ( except the lack of bathroom!) with plenty of room for the solo traveller and had excellent dark curtains which kept out the majority of light from the street light directly opposite my window.
Excellent 8,5
Pros: The room was spacious and pleasant. The location was great and parking was easy.
Cons: The hosts were busy with paperwork and not very friendly. We were treated respectfully but not kindly.
Excellent 9,6
Pros: Charming property in the heart of Woodstock. Beautifully maintained, comfortable accommodation and incredibly welcoming hosts.
Excellent 10,0
Pros: Attentive friendly staff
Cons: No extractor fan in windowless bathroom
Excellent 9,0
Pros: Nice old world charm hotel in centre of village. Very friendly staff
Good 6,3
Pros: Clean and comfortable room,a little over priced for a b+b.

Excellent 9,6
Pros: Breakfast was very good. Also v good value if you walk in "off the street"
Excellent 8,8
Pros: Nice property - in the heart of Woodstock village - so it's a perfect location for tourists. The staff provide excellent customer service and the food both Evening Meal and Breakfast were of a high standard.
Excellent 8,3
Pros: Great welcome, friendly staff and spacious room. All very clean and tidy. Great bar/restaurant downstairs and ideally located on the market square. 2 mins walk to Blenheim palace.
Cons: Nothing to dislike, tidy place. Paying for location as all hotels locally are around this price.
Excellent 10,0
Pros: Excellent friendly staff, lovely pub with nice atmosphere.
Excellent 9,2
Pros: Perfect location for visiting Blenheim Palace, it is just two minutes to the estate entrance. Very good full English breakfast, there are other choices if you prefer. Very comfortable overnight stay. It wasn't a problem for me but in my room you could hear the chatter from the bar.
Cons: The stairs up to the rooms are very steep, narrow and twisty. The staff were very helpful though and took my luggage up.
Excellent 10,0
Pros: Everything, it was so relaxed and quite, staff and food was very good, (other than chips), bedroom was roomy, clean comfortable.
Cons: Chips and stairs
Good 7,9
Pros: Top quality towels, comfy room, great brekkie!
Cons: Difficult parking, difficult stair access from bar to bedrooms, you need to be quite fit!
Excellent 9,6
Pros: The check-in was an absolute breeze and the check-in person was extremely nice and helpful.
Cons: We preordered breakfast the night before as we had an early start the next morning. The service was great however the breakfast didn't quite make the mark. Otherwise the stay would have been tops!
Good 7,9
Pros: Only tried one,very good
Cons: We did not like the fact that this property had no car park.We knew this but didn't know that due to a fair in the town for 2 days and nights had to park 2 streets away
Good 7,9
Pros: all was fine
Cons: stairs a bit iffy

Excellent 8,8
Pros: Small but beautifully clean room with added bonus of a fridge . Ashley was very helpful and had thoughtfully arranged a cake with a hand written note for our anniversary . breakfast very tasty and well presented .
Cons: Bed was a little hard for us
Excellent 10,0
Pros: It was a fab place to stay rooms where spot on and breakfast was amazing lovely hosts definitely stay here again
Excellent 8,8
Pros: Best bacon for breakfast I have had at a hotel or guest house ,perfect a very friendly welcome and helpful staff location good for concert venue at nearby Blenhiem Palace
Cons: although we were the only ones staying there , I was concerned as to where we would have parked the car if all 6 rooms were booked up when we got back late from the concert., only could see spaces for 4 cars
Excellent 9,6
Pros: There was everything you could need in the room, the breakfast was excellent and the staff lovely
Cons: There was nothing to dislike but the room was a bit small. It was very warm so we had the windows open and the road noise was quite loud.
Excellent 8,8
Pros: Excellent location, amazing bus links to the city centre no need to drive anywhere
Cons: Check in was poor, key just left in an envelope and we arrived at 3pm. Breakfast was ok but not great. Raw mushrooms on cooked breakfast not nice
Excellent 8,3
Pros: Ashley was wonderful and made us feel very at home. The room was a good size and the bathroom, though a little cramped for tall people, had a good sized shower. Breakfast was lovely and they were able to provide GF bread and sausages.
Cons: Bathroom was a little bit cramped.
Excellent 10,0
Pros: Warm and friendly atmosphere.
Excellent 10,0
Pros: The friendly staff
Excellent 10,0
Pros: The host was very friendly and helpful, we enjoyed chatting with her.The breakfast was very good. Although the room was a little on the small side and so was the bathroom, it was very comfortable and modern. The wifi was great and there was no problem with hot water. The Inn was cute and charming. The location was fine, a bit out of town, which was fine with us. There was a bus stop almost right outside the door with many direct buses to town center. Would not hesitate to stay there again.
Cons: A little on the small side, yet very comfortable.
Excellent 10,0
Pros: Very firm mattress made for a really good night's sleep excellent breakfast. What's not to like. Would recommend.
Cons: Light bulb replacement in bedside light.
Excellent 8,2
Pros: The staff was very accommodating and kind. The breakfast was excellent with many options. The location is right off of a bus route which was very convenient.
Cons: The bathroom was very small and the bed was not very comfortable.

Pros: - very delicious breakfast in a buffet style - close to the city centre (25-30 min by walk) - nearby shops (for buying food) - friendly staff - free and fast wifi connection - comfortable, large bed with two pillows (one harder, one softer, so you can choose) - 2 bottles of fresh water for free every day
Cons: - you can hear the conversation of other guests from hotel corridor and partially from surrounding rooms, also floor creaks is more serious that in other 4-star hotels
Excellent 9,0
Pros: First class thank you
Excellent 10,0
Pros: Location. Staff attitude. Value for money. Breakfast.
Cons: I couldn’t stay longer.
Excellent 9,2
Pros: I was concerned that the last minute price for this was still a bit too good to be true compared to other local hotels. However, The Galaxie exceeded my expectations by being modern, comfortable, quiet and by providing a truly tremendous buffet breakfast. Local amenities are good, with a pub, Costa, Co-op and restaurants further along the road.
Cons: It wasn't clear that this is a B&B as it is listed - and called - as a hotel. It didn't bother me as I did not want to eat dinner in residence, but it is worth knowing that you'll have to fare elsewhere.
Excellent 10,0
Pros: Great value all round. Note that prices can vary depending on how busy Oxford is, which is very busy at times. Friday cheaper than Saturday. Excellent property, clean, quiet and spacious. High standards. Thank you. Would definitely come again if a room's free and not too pricey.
Cons: Nothing. All good!
Excellent 10,0
Pros: Everything about the hotel was clean tidy and well organised, worth of the money
Cons: Only the passage of the rare car park is little bit narrow, but it was no harm.
Excellent 8,0
Pros: Located at the southerly end of Summertown high street. I was directed to some great local cafes/bars on arrival. Friendly and really helpful staff. Breakfast was good (cooked and continental), efficient service. Wifi worked well. Room was clean.
Cons: Out of convenience, I used the shampoo in the bathroom - it wasn't v nice, plus I seem to be allergic to something in it.
Excellent 8,3
Pros: The breakfast was excellent with a good variety The staff were cheerful and very helpful.March
Excellent 10,0
Pros: Excellent room design - spotlessly clean - breakfast better than many five-star hotels I've stayed in!
Cons: Nothing.
Excellent 8,8
Pros: Enjoyed the cooked breakfast Close proximity to town centre
Cons: Very small bedroom

Excellent 10,0
Pros: Everything
Cons: The room was clean and lovely. It is not a large room , as it's own on suite, but makes up with the hospitality. Can't do enough to make sure you was happy. First class English breakfast, 5 minute walk to blenheim place and saw lots of buses to Oxford. Small town but lovely and friendly. Totally recommend the hotel.
Excellent 8,8
Pros: A lovely personal welcome, a great location, really friendly, competent and helpful staff and a fabulous breakfast.
Cons: Minor detail, but the bathroom in our ensuite needed a little attention to maintenance, not picked up by housekeeping. The owners have welcomed my well-intended message on this, and have said all will be fixed.
Good 7,5
Cons: The cleaning of the room during the stay was minimal
Good 7,9
Pros: The breakfast was perfectly adequate., Location fine.
Excellent 9,2
Pros: Excellent location.
Cons: Rooms are quite small and access would be difficult for anyone with mobility problems. Parking could be a nightmare.
Good 7,1
Pros: The bed was comfy breakfast was very nice
Cons: Shower was not attached to the wall properly but when pointed out was assured it would be looked at, but that was pointed out on check out
Excellent 8,0
Pros: Wonderfully quiet and comfortable also spotlessly clean. Staff very friendly highly recommended.
Cons: It wasn't a problem for us but the rooms are reached via an outside and uneven flight of stone steps. It would be unsuitable for anyone with mobility difficulty.
Okay 4,6
Pros: Clean, warm, nice breakfast, good location... but still rating it very low because in this place you are not guaranteed to have any sleep. And personnel is aware of that. Description and pictures below.
Cons: 3 of us stayed in room 6 which offers 2 single beds and sofa-bed. I was unlucky one who was supposed to somehow manage to sleep on this sofa-bad what was COMPLETELY impossible. This foldable sofa is so curvy! It has hill in the middle follower by gaps. Have you ever tried to sleep on sinusoid? When your lower back and head are on these higher parts but back and legs are somewhere above gaps? Why owners of this place find it possible to offer their guests to sleep on that??? Would they be okay to spend night on similar bed? Why so much disrespect to guests? When I mentioned it to porter in the morning, he said sorry. Seriously... you come to the hotel to sleep, you don’t get this sleep, you get lower back pain and hip pain instead - and they are sorry (and not going to change anything). What an approach! Another thing - very strong smell of cleaning chemicals.
Excellent 10,0
Pros: Absolutely perfect place location All staff were a credit to management very accomodating couldn't help enough great prices would definitely return and would recommend this place to anyone and the full English was lovely and reading the menu they cater for all breakfast types, daily specials etc etc thanks Keith and Kate room 3.
Cons: N/a

Pros: Made to feel welcome on arrival and it’s a beautiful place in a great location
Okay 5,8
Pros: Great location. Gentleman in the bar ....Octvaious? ...was great.
Cons: The service was hit & miss. We were asked if we would like to see the pudding menu and said yes please, then never saw another member of staff in the restaurant. Also, we were very hot during the night. And on inspection, the bed has a plastic backed mattress cover. Not nice.
Good 7,5
Pros: Comfy rooms with plenty of nice touches - toiletries and tea/coffee provided.
Excellent 9,6
Pros: Comfort. Proximity to Blenheim.
Cons: Nothing
Excellent 9,6

Good 6,3
Pros: Breakfast was great. Staff friendly
Cons: Beds were too hard. We didn't like the general feel to the hotel - it felt like we were in the US and not the UK.
Excellent 10,0
Pros: Very Clean! Amazing people. Thanks
Good 7,5
Cons: The room was incredibly small, more like a single room with a double bed. Felt less than half the size of that shown on the promotional photos when we booked. For 2 people, with luggage, very disappointing. Similarly the bathroom, tiny and badly designed. The glass door between the bathroom and the bedroom meant the bedroom was no longer dark when the bathroom light was on.
Excellent 10,0
Pros: From walking in it smelled very clean and fresh Room service was fantastic, food was some of the best I’ve tasted in a hotel. The room it’s self was spacious. Lots of things to do in the hotel it’s self Free parking Friendly staff
Cons: Layout was a bit confusing Pillow wasn’t a bit comfortable

Cons: Second time staying this week. Second time the hairdryer doesn’t work. Second time going to work with wet hair - not ideal!

Excellent 8,8
Pros: Diana is very hospitable, all rooms are clean and the breakfast is great value. Close proximity to Summertime for pubs and restaurants.
Cons: WiFi wasn't great and single rooms are very small for a big man like me!
Excellent 9,2
Pros: Diana was a very friendly and attentive host. I arrived a good few hours before the set check-in time and arrangments were made and agreed for me to park my car at the B&B in order that I could go into Oxford for the day and then check in later. (parking in the center Oxford is very expensive and restrictive to a few hours)
Excellent 10,0
Pros: The welcome was expansive. Room exactly what I needed. Location ideal.
Cons: Noise from nearby junction was persistent, but I was too tired to stay awake and listen to it.
Excellent 8,8
Pros: Rooms were clean and comfortable. Location was quiet but just 2 minutes from the main road. Diana was a great guide and made suggestions about things to see and do.
Okay 5,8
Pros: Location was good, bus stop close by and on weekends it is free to park on the road outside B&B
Cons: Wifi kept cutting out throughout the night, I had a lamp with no bulb, quite expensive considering I had a small room with shared bathroom and no breakfast. Not good value for money.
Excellent 8,3
Pros: Very accommodating and the bed was very comfortable. An enjoyable stay for the one night we were there.
Good 7,1
Pros: The lady of the house very nice!!!! lovely person and the breakfast was lovely too...
Cons: The bed was sadly not comfortable very springy and rocked all over not very good sorry to say...
Good 6,7
Pros: The room was good and tea and coffee making facilities were provided. The young lady running the place was very pleasant and helpful. (I believe she was a local university student working over the summer vacation) The location, although not central, was very close to a frequent bus service
Cons: Although it was adequate, I felt that at £115 per night, it is over-priced. Secondly, although advertised as B and B, no breakfast was available!!!
Okay 4,2
Pros: There were no interference. Location was close to city. I was allowed to park. I arrived early and was let in.
Cons: I did not have breakfast as I believe that a Bed and breakfast should include breakfast and not charge separately. Location was noisy at night. Full of spiders. Cleanliness below par. No housekeeping during stay. Rubbish could have been emptied if not daily. Stain on radiator in shower, on cubicle and filthy behind toilet. There was only one sachet of coffee and not enough of other tea facilities. Not a single biscuit. Furniture are tatty and should all be replaced. AS FOR LUXURY THERE WAS NO EVIDENCE. The owner was kind enough to let me in early but was sort of grumpy.
Excellent 9,6
Pros: Easy parking and access to the town , absolutely perfect , personalised breakfast prepared to order , warm welcome and persistent pleasantness from my host - Diana
Cons: Nothing really comes to mind

Good 7,5
Pros: Very good
Cons: Room was noisy - could hear the other guests
Excellent 8,3
Pros: Room was spacious and good staff
Good 7,9
Pros: The proprietor of the Duke of Marlborough very friendly, humourus and helpful
Good 7,9
Pros: The size of the room. The staff friendly and food good. The Location is excellent for visiting the area including Blenheim Palace. Breakfast was very nice. Car parking is off road and there is plenty of it.
Cons: I thought we were staying in an old coach house but you actually stay in a “motel-like” unit of about 8 rooms. The room is a good size but very tired and dated. The fixtures needed a little maintenance and corners needed to be cleaned. Light needed bulbs. The potential for this place is amazing given its location and if it were mine I definitely would make a little more effort to bring the place up a notch.
Excellent 10,0
Pros: A nice spacious room and bathroom nice toiletries as well.bed comfortable and nice clean towels
Cons: Dinner wasn't as good as we'd expected small portions
Okay 5,8
Pros: the location was excellent.
Cons: We were told they did not have our room booked but when I produced the paperwork they did have one. The room was very basic. the bed not comfortable and the bathroom old, dated and smelling of damp which pervaded the whole room.
Excellent 9,0
Pros: The good folk at the Duke of Marlborough are welcoming, warm and friendly. I most definitely enjoyed my stay here. -Calum
Excellent 10,0

Good 6,0
Pros: Breakfast was excellent.
Okay 5,3
Pros: enjoyed dinner and breakfast and friendlyness of the manager and staff - enjoyed the open fire place - hotel was easy to find
Cons: located a little too far out of Woodstock which meant we had to use the car to visit Windsor central as opposed to leaving the car and walking we didn't realise this at the time of booking - also free WIFI only worked in the bar area not in your room - no real problem but just a little inconvenient
Good 6,7
Pros: friendly helpful staff, good beer.
Cons: noisy pipework

Excellent 8,3
Pros: Bed and pillows comfy
Cons: Toilet would not flush properly
Excellent 10,0
Pros: The hotel isn't very new but everything was in good order, the staff were attentive and friendly and the food was very good. The location was very convenient for us as we were visiting the MINI factory rather than the city centre; it was also easy to find after a day's drive.
Cons: The buffet breakfast surfeited from the usual problem of not being very hot. This however is such a common problem that it doesn't really lower our oveerall appreciated of the hotel.
Excellent 9,0
Pros: It's situated near to where we needed to be and provided a good level of service combined with comfortable accomodation at a competitive price.
Cons: The outlook from the room was a little dark as there were mature trees close to the building which blocked the light. These were preferable to a view of the car park or services at the other side however.
Good 7,5
Pros: The environment is quiet and serene
Cons: I could not regulate the room temperature thereby not helping my flu
Excellent 8,3
Pros: The reception staff were very friendly.

Pros: I paid online requesting also sofa bed, which was readied with linen and extra towels when I checked in -thoughtful! The room and bath were sparkling clean. We didn't need to pay our teenage sons extra for b'fast which was tasty. Easy parking and grocery.
Excellent 8,0
Pros: Very pleasant stay. Helpful and pleasant staff. Full room rates feel a bit expensive though.
Good 7,9
Pros: Position is good
Cons: No hot water for close to 4 hours
Excellent 9,6
Pros: Really convenient stopover from Liverpool to London
Cons: Family units catering for 3 adults would have been great
Excellent 10,0
Pros: Easy to find with good motorway links. Great location with very frequent park and ride service a 2 min walk away you can easily get in and out of Oxford centre without spending much money (£1.80 single / £2.80 return). Rooms spacious with everything you need. Comfy bed, desk, chairs, sofa, table, mirrors, en suite, big TV and black out curtains. Help yourself buffet style breakfast with cereal, toast, jams, croissants, fruit, ham, cheese, cooked breakfast with fruit juices, teas and coffee etc to set you up for the day!
Cons: Maybe better lighting in the room - was still a bit dark with all lights on - extra light needed for make up application!
Excellent 8,3
Pros: This Holiday Inn is one of the best Holiday Inns we have stayed in. You could say it is a 3star, the facilities are good, the restaurant is Excellent, the staff in the restaurant are exceptional. Position of hotel , we travelled from Birmingham, take Junction 9 off M40 onto A34 and it is a ‘ peace of cake’ even for the person who has difficult In following directions. Position to seeing the special places in Oxford, excellent. There is a Park and Ride , three minutes walk from the hotel, it is cheap and excellent Service for all, it drops you off in the centre of Oxford, and you get the return the same. We have had a two night stay, including breakfast, we would most definitely use this hotel again and would recommend it to any person travelling in this area.

Pros: The family/staff could not do enough to help us. Ours was a very late booking following a car breakdown and the kitchen was kept open after 9 o'clock to accommodate us. Food was excellent - mixture of traditional English and Indian. Good pint of Peroni! Good breakfast next morning, kept warm for me for over an hour - and still tasted good!
Cons: The en-suite was small but functional.

Pros: Perfect location, as we were 3 miles away from Blenheim Palace, we were working at the Horse Trials. Family run pub who were very welcoming and wonderful hosts. Delicious food & lovely pub atmosphere. Mixture of Indian & English cooking - superb! Comfortable beds and plenty of hot water. Definitely stay again.
Cons: Bathroom tile grouting could do with a scrub & taps in basin were very loose.

Pros: Owners were very friendly nothing too much trouble, they didn’t know if they could provide food in the evening due to husband going to hospital
Cons: Rooms could do with an update or really good deep clean

Good 7,5
Pros: This property was an unusual configuration but the room was reasonable and the bathroom more than adequate. It was a great distance from Blenheim Palace.
Cons: There was a street fair on the night we stayed which we did not know about. It was quite loud. Parking was £10 per night. Service at the bar was a little slow.
Good 7,1
Pros: The staff in the hotel itself were very pleasant and friendly. the room was well decorated and clean. However the room was very small and crowded with big furniture. There was an iron and ironing board in the wardrobe but I don't know where you could have put it up.
Cons: The staff on reception when we arrived were not particularly welcoming or helpful. They just told us where our rooms were and we had to find them ourselves. There was no offer to help with luggage. I was asked for a credit card for pre-authorisation for the room which was fine and a usual process but then I was asked if I wanted to add any money onto the pre-authorisation for any extras, food, drink etc. I said I didn't know if we would be having any and asked if I couldn't just charge any additional expenses to the room. the reception staff suggested I make the pre-authorisation up to £600 then if I did not use any of the extra it would be refunded to my card in a couple of days. I declined. I have never encountered that before. Also there was an additional £10 per night charge for the car park which I was surprised at as the car park itself behind the hotel was very difficult to access in our vehicle, an Audi Q7 and there were not any parking spaces available and so we went into the overflow car park which was much easier to park in and had plenty of room.
Excellent 9,6
Pros: Nice clean room, hotel is in excellent location with good car parking. Bar staff friendly and efficient.
Cons: Perhaps a little expensive for what it is.
Excellent 10,0
Pros: In a great location to visit Blenheim Palace, a very historic hotel with hundreds of years of history! The staff were very friendly. The room was lovely comfortable and clean! Food was ok.
Cons: Room was a bit dark needs better lighting. Food could have been better. Drinks a bit pricey.
Excellent 8,3
Pros: Quirky hotel but all the better for it
Cons: No ghosts!
Good 6,7
Pros: Location of hotel
Cons: Very expensive for what you get, room quite small, hardly any toiletries, bathroom a bit tatty
Good 7,1
Pros: The staff were very helpful and friendly
Cons: Excessive charge for parking at the hotel. No toilet brush supplied. Not being told about the Fair outside our room.
Excellent 10,0
Pros: Beautifully restored old inn in a lovely town close to Oxford.
Cons: Pay to park.
Excellent 10,0
Pros: Loved the decor, lighting, service, comfort and food. Excellent central location with parking at the rear
Good 6,0
Pros: Lovely room. Very comfortable and cosy with a good bed and plenty of hot water. Friendly Head lady on at breakfast. Plenty of gluten free options.
Cons: Very slow breakfast. Waited along time for the breakfast to arrive. Not very comfortable restaurant or bar area. No evening menu until the restaurant opened at 1900 and then very limited choice.
Excellent 8,0
Pros: A really old building nothing square and true. Loads of character and history.
Cons: Having to pay extra for car parking. I think this should be part of the overall price.
Excellent 9,4
Pros: The room was clean comfortable and surprisingly modern, refurbished sympathetically. The bed was very comfortable with quality linen. Very friendly welcome and old fashioned customer service standards

Cons: Nothing!
Excellent 8,3
Pros: We went to visit Oxford and Blenheim. Absolutely the right place to stay for both venues. Woodstock is also lovely to walk around, very friendly town
Good 7,0
Pros: The Punchbowl is a charming local pub in the village of Woodstock and ideal if you are visiting Blenheim Palace. The staff were all very friendly and welcoming and the check-in process was quick and smooth. The room was clean and comfortable and as it was a cold day the fact that the heating was working well was very much appreciated. On-site parking is a big advantage although you need to make sure that you pre-book this as spaces are limited. Breakfast was very good, we were given a very friendly greeting with fresh coffee and a made to order English breakfast which was very good.
Cons: The room was very clean and had everything that we needed but it was looking a little tired and would benefit from some refurbishment. The bathroom was especially in need of being refreshed. Everything worked but needed refreshing just a little
Excellent 10,0
