Excellent 10,0

Cons: Carpark on small side, but we still got parking space, and they can’t do anything about that not really a complaint.
Excellent 9,0

Excellent 9,0
Pros: Ease of check in and able to use car park even though early for check in (3.30 due to Covid)
Cons: Breakfast seemed too rushed, cooked breakfast was bought out before we had finished fresh fruit meaning it started to go cold too soon.
Excellent 8,0

Excellent 8,5

Excellent 9,0
Pros: The House Manager, Ashley, couldn't have been more friendly and helpful. She gave us information about buses, pubs to eat in on Saturday evening, and allowed us to leave our cars there whilst we went into the centre of Oxford on Sunday morning and looked around the Colleges, after we had booked out. She was able to deal with my husband's dietary requirements, which we had told her about in advance. The décor of our room was light and modern.
Cons: There was not much moving around room in the ensuite bathroom, but good use was made of every available space in the whole room, and we managed.
Excellent 9,2
Pros: Clean, comfortable and Ashley (the manager) is super lovely and makes you feel super welcome Breakfast is superb
Cons: The location is a bit out of hand but if you are into walking it will take you around 40 min to reach Oxford City centre walking and around 10 min by bus It is in front of the Wolvercote Cemetery (the one that holds JRR Tolkien tomb)
Excellent 8,0
Pros: Lovely host, nicely furnished room with thoughtful additions such as fridge, sweets, hairdryer were above and beyond expectations. Likewise breakfast very good. Ample parking and bus stop right outside with buses into city centre every few minutes made this a good location.
Cons: Bathroom was very small, but amp!e with good shower. Being in a city there is a little traffic noise when window open, but not enough to be an issue.
Excellent 10,0
Pros: amazing staff, great breakfast, great room with nice facilities
Cons: nothing
Excellent 9,2
Pros: Lovely host, great place to stay
Cons: All OK
Excellent 8,2
Pros: The staff was very accommodating and kind. The breakfast was excellent with many options. The location is right off of a bus route which was very convenient.
Cons: The bathroom was very small and the bed was not very comfortable.

Good 7,0
Pros: Lovely room. Pleasant staff.
Cons: Very steep spiral stairs. Difficult to find a parking space. Limited menu.
Excellent 9,0
Pros: Really friendly staff and a great breakfast. A cozy little inn.
Cons: Was a little hard to park but once we spoke to the staff they had some recommendations where to go and it was ok.
Excellent 9,0
Pros: Very comfortable bed and a wonderful bath in the King room we had. Lovely views across the square and a great location for Blenheim. The staff were really friendly and our dinner was tasty. Thank you for making us feel so at home!
Cons: Could hear some noise from other parts of the building but not enough to keep us up.

Excellent 8,0
Pros: Location ambience
Cons: Noise over room 202 Also windows rattle Shower tray needs re sealing and black mould removing
Excellent 9,0
Pros: It was clean. The lighting was lovely. The bathroom was absolutely beautiful with the marble. The room was a good temperature and easy to adjust. The staff were very professional and attentive.
Cons: The fan kept turning itself on, which was quite odd. Couldn't work out if it was on a timer or whether a controller from a different room was somehow switching it on.
Good 7,0
Pros: friendly staffs, have a car park, the location is not too far from the town.
Cons: the breakfast was a bit disappointing. a few cleaning issues in the room.
Excellent 8,0
Pros: Clean, tidy and nicely decorated
Cons: Floor boards very noisy
Good 6,0
Pros: Good location, comfortable bed.
Cons: The room smelt a bit mouldy which wasn't very pleasant, maybe it was just that it hadn't been occupied for a bit though.
Excellent 10,0
Pros: The staff were very helpful and the food was amazing. Would recommend to anyone.

Excellent 8,0
Pros: Breakfast was great, loved the accommodation - full of character
Cons: Our twin beds were on a slant, it wasn't easy to sleep. However understand its an old building (which we love) we wondered if the beds should be turned around so you're not sleeping slanted sideways ? If that makes sense!
Excellent 8,0
Pros: Comfortable clean accommodation booked at short notice and great value for money. Breakfast included and served by friendly staff. Would certainly use again.
Cons: Very little to dislike. Loo a little noisy.
Good 7,0
Pros: We have stayed here before and found it very comfortable and welcoming, hense why we chose to come back. The staff are lovely, the food enjoyable and it's a 5min walk to Blenheim Palace.
Cons: The bed , we honestly thought it would collapse! Very rickety and the mattress was awful! We could feel the bed slats underneath.
Good 7,0
Pros: The staff were really friendly and couldn't do enough for you and the breakfast was great. The Room is full of old town character - sloping floors are very rustic. Perfect location for Blenheim Palace, and a short hop to the park and ride or buses into Oxford. The local Indian restaurant is great, and the pubs lovely too. Free parking just outside the main street, but go early as this gets full fast.
Cons: The floors were very creaky from the rooms above and beside, but hey - this is a very old building - all part of the experience - as long as your fellow residents don't move around too much.😊

Excellent 8,0
Pros: Was lovely staff very friendly and helpful
Excellent 10,0
Pros: Breakfast in a bag to my room because of Covid. Not great breakfast, but cant be helped. Staff there are fantastic. Wonderful attentive manager. Really lovely staff.
Cons: Breakfast bag.
Good 7,0
Pros: Room was great - and spotless. Great sized bed and in-room facilities. Breakfast - left outside due to Lockdown requirements was adequate but possibly not such good value.
Cons: The room was cold. Despite the air con allegedly being on at 32 degrees, it clearly wasn’t working. Neither could we alter it. I had to wear my jumper in bed!
Excellent 10,0
Pros: spacious room, very clean, nice leisure area (pool, fitness etc), friendly staff
Cons: there was not anything that we did not like...
Excellent 8,2
Cons: No elevators. Long walks to
Excellent 8,4
Okay 4,2
Pros: Breakfast except for The coffee
Cons: Small room, tiny bathroom, small pool Long walk to room No Soap in bathroom No minibar in room
Mediocre 2,8
Pros: the place was clean
Cons: Jurys Inn had no charm. It was a modern space, dorm room style maze. A lot of eastern European workers with no charm. The red head curly haired euro woman need to learn to smile. I hated my stay here. No food at night. Cold AC. Wankers!
Good 6,8
Pros: Staff were friendly
Cons: THe hotel is geting a big refurbishment. Restaurant is closed, so rather than eat breakfast in a conferance room, we went into the city instead. In the bedrooms, the choice of opaque glass door to the bathroom was an odd one. Especially as in my room it faces directly onto the bed. I may look stylish, but is not particularly sound proof! And if anyone wants to us the bath room in thhe night, the doors is lit up like an enormous night light!
Excellent 9,4
Pros: Great Staff! Great workout room and Sauna!

Excellent 8,0
Pros: Unfair to comment on Breakfast in room for 26th Dec as Gov. Tier change was so quick. Staff did their best in difficult circumstance.
Cons: Better lighting required in car parking areas by rooms and entrance gates. We had flooding due to excess heavy rains and couldn't see where deep puddles were.
Excellent 10,0
Pros: Beautiful, high standard hotel. Staff were all very friendly. Food was excellent.
Cons: The only downside, our fabulous room in the courtyard, had very noisy guests upstairs, unfortunately that’s out of the hotels control.
Excellent 10,0
Pros: We had to leave due to a family emergency. The hotel staff were wonderful.
Excellent 8,0
Pros: We liked the staff and it was clean for COVID the food could be better.
Cons: We had top floor and the bed was only a double. 2 flights of stairs old stairs but we had good time would go again
Excellent 8,0
Pros: Fantastic location, great food in the evening restaurant, beautiful old building
Cons: The suite we had was very noisy at 4.30am onwards, service in the restaurant wasn’t fantastic especially in the morning
Excellent 8,0
Pros: Quiet place, staff excellent and location perfect
Cons: Nithing
Good 6,0
Pros: Food was delicious - excellent staff communication.
Cons: The first room was so noise with old radiators - unfortunately could only give a double bed as an option - this proved too much for 2 adults mother/ daughter and we asked for sofa bed to be made up. Well this was awful - when I asked the receptionist I was told this was meant for young children - I would not put any child on it - so uncomfotable - third room hooray twin room - not sure why we could not have this on the first night. the staff were courtious and helpful.
Excellent 8,0
Pros: Breakfast was lovely The architecture of the building was lovely the room was huge and spacious.
Cons: it was soo cold, not very well insulated. the front door let a draft in, we had to shut the bedroom door and put a towel under the door to stop the draft. mattress was too firm.
Good 6,0
Pros: Lovely room. Very comfortable and cosy with a good bed and plenty of hot water. Friendly Head lady on at breakfast. Plenty of gluten free options.
Cons: Very slow breakfast. Waited along time for the breakfast to arrive. Not very comfortable restaurant or bar area. No evening menu until the restaurant opened at 1900 and then very limited choice.
Excellent 9,4
Pros: The room was clean comfortable and surprisingly modern, refurbished sympathetically. The bed was very comfortable with quality linen. Very friendly welcome and old fashioned customer service standards

Pros: In a very surreal situation, the chance to visit Blenheim palace and stay over at the Chequers was just what we needed as a family. The property was in a quaint picturesque village. Perfect location for our visit to Blenheim. Lovely family, friendly atmosphere and the owners were fantastic - could not do enough for us, lovely food and very welcoming. Thank you

Pros: Good all round value for money.... very accommodating staff, warm happy atmosphere, everything worked well and comfortable.
Cons: Bathroom small, bed too large for room..
Excellent 8,0
Pros: Nice clean room, good food, nice beer. Breakfast was small but ample. The walls and floors are a bit thin, but nothing to stop being bale to sleep.
Cons: Only one point, I'm not a huge fan of being called young man! But that is the only fault I could find and many wouldn't find it annoying!

Pros: Beautiful old building lovely village beds very comfortable and lovely shower
Excellent 9,0
Pros: Great staff very friendly and helpful. Hygiene is a priority here which is good to see especially their COVID measures. Good breakfast very tasty but more selection would be nice. Excellent location and value for money.
Cons: Good breakfast very tasty but more selection would be nice.
Good 7,0
Pros: Hospitality, breakfast and location close to Woodstock all good. The parking on-site is very good if that is a need.
Cons: The rooms are motel style, separated as a block from the pub and are a little dated, needing some refurbishment. Not a 'vacation' option, but fine for a 'stop-over'. WiFi code was not available in the room and was needed as mobile signal reception is poor in the area. Otherwise fine and reasonable value overall.
Excellent 9,0
Pros: The room was fairly basic but the bed was very comfortable, the shower was good. There was a good choice on the menu, very pleased with our meals. The music was great, an excellent mix of popular music, played at a pleasant level. It was a pleasure, thank you Derek!
Cons: Nothing worth mentioning.

Okay 5,0
Pros: Nice staff, great location
Cons: Tired decor - first thing you see as a guest is a really tired and dirty carpet leading to the rooms. The room was functional but everything felt like it had been done cheaply. I know you pay for the location but £150 a night not cheap and I would except a bit more comfort and modernity
Okay 5,0
Cons: Checking in time from booking.com was wrongs
Good 7,0
Pros: Staff were very pleasant and breakfast very nice.
Cons: My room although spacious was right next to a noisy heating? system outside the window. Plus window wouldn't close properly and the blind let the light of the street lamp in. Subsequent hardly slept. Tv didn't work properly so could only turn off at mains. Couldn't check in until 5pm.
Okay 5,0
Pros: Very close to Blenheim palace. This was the best thing about it.
Cons: Needs updating. Carpets in room very tired and the bathroom tiles were loose. Better tea making facilities needed - for a family room we had three teeny pots of milk which made about one cuppa! Co Op over the road handy for buying milk! Staff weren’t particularly competent - not great if you have a food allergy as they’d never heard of coeliac disease before. Wanted to pay cash but they charged our card without permission. Slow on orders in the restaurant- staff kept forgetting things and had to be asked several times. Food was nice when it arrived. Although location was great I don’t think it good value for money - £200 for one night and doesn’t include breakfast, and pretty basic. We probably wouldn’t go back.
Good 7,0
Pros: Good value evening meal and a comfortable two night stay.

Cons: Nothing,
Okay 4,0
Pros: Only the location.
Cons: Very disappointed to find out that we could not check in until 5.00pm, and attempts to arrange an earlier check in fell on deaf ears.
