Excellent 10,0
Pros: We loved the location & our room was ver comfortable, clean,
Cons: We found that it was very noisy till midnight from a party that was going on
Excellent 10,0
Pros: all the lot
Cons: none
Poor 1,0
Cons: Would not allow us a refund despite the global pandemic and suggested a room service meal was a suitable alternative to eating in the restaurant
Excellent 9,6
Pros: A beautiful stay in an incredibly stunning room, hotel & location. Staff helpful and polite. The food was delicious with the Venison cooked to perfection. Breakfast was plentiful and tasty. A lot going on in the hotel... Elvis in the Marquee and a Murder Mystery in another room. None of which spoilt what was a perfect night.
Cons: One thing that wasn't as expected was the dress code for the evening meal. Website states "smart casual (no denim)". The receptionist confirmed this but it wasn't enforced by restaurant staff. As the restaurant filled more and more patrons wearing jeans were seated by the timid Maître d'.
Good 7,3
Pros: My stay was very comfortable and relaxed enhanced by the atmosphere and setting of the abbey's history. Most enjoyable and will visit again when opportunity allows.
Okay 5,0
Pros: The setting of this hotel is really special. Located adjacent to a beautiful park with nice walks and woodland it is a great place for spending time relaxing. For me, the darkened medieval atmosphere and interesting decoration is what sets it apart.
Cons: At £170 for the night, it was the most expensive hotel I've stayed at. But, other than its unique setting and interesting decor, it certainly didn't offer anything else as outstanding as the price. Service was very basic. For instance, no-one to show you to the room, certainly no help to carry your bags. No indication either at check-in or on the paperwork that check-out is 11.00am. Breakfast was included, but as it finished too early for me at 10.00 am this was not sampled. Also, there was pressure to throw me out of the room at 11.00am as this is their (too early) check-out time. Perhaps a visit to the far East for the staff would educate them in the standards that are now expected by international travellers.
Good 7,7
Pros: Beautiful old Abbey, with decor consistent with old english style. Staff were exceptional
Cons: Could do with a better hot water system
Good 7,7
Pros: The most wonderful hotel we have ever stayed in. Just beautiful.
Cons: The bill was wrong when first issued. This was corrected very quickly.
Good 6,7
Pros: Very atmospheric - loved the 'Ancient' decor!
Cons: Much too dark - couldn't see to read in the bedrooms and quite often got lost in the corridors - very confusing in an emergency!
Excellent 8,0
Pros: Excellent service from helpful and experienced staff, feature rooms with period furniture were a delight, good choice of food well prepared, and beautiful, well kept gardens.
Cons: $review.cons
Excellent 8,0
Pros: The unique nature of the hotel and the staff who were excellent. It was exceptional value for money as well. I will certainly stay there again
Cons: $review.cons
Excellent 8,0
Pros: The hotel staff were extremely efficient and friendly, nothing was too much trouble, the hotel is an exceptional location and eventhough it was a busy weekend the hotel was peaceful and relaxed.
Cons: $review.cons
Excellent 8,0
Pros: It was such a different hotel experince and very intersting from a historical perspective- great price at off peak rates wonderfully quiet, tranquil, excellent food and the staff made you feel very special. A great place to go with a few friends to get away and relax in style.
Cons: You really need to have a rental car so you can drive around and explore the other areas like Warwick castle
Excellent 8,0
Pros: The atmosphere and surroundings, and also the peace and tranquility

Excellent 9,0
Pros: We stay here every 3 months and it is always good. Quite expensive, we have tried other cheaper places nearby, but we keep coming back here. Food now much better since they got rid of the Marco Pierre White menu.
Cons: Nothing really. I do wish that the person who delivers the newspapers had the sense to try the Saturday papers in two bits, paper and supplement under the door separately. Because it will not go under bundled together we have to go down the reception to collect it. Trivial, yes, but very annoying.
Excellent 9,0
Pros: Breakfast and Evening Meal were very good. Staff were friendly and helpful. As expected in a Holiday Inn, the quality was very good.
Cons: Too much noise during the evening meal. Would have been useful if mobiles were either banded or switched to silent. It is annoying to hear two peoples mobile phone games being played. These people were at the same table and didn't care if they disturbed others.
Excellent 10,0
Pros: Comfy bed and an upgrade
Excellent 8,8
Pros: I go every year, whilst visiting crufts Staff are great, rooms clean... look forward to staying each year
Excellent 10,0
Pros: Staff were brilliant and friendly, room was clean and spacious. Used the room service to order food very prompt in delivering. Would highly recommend the pizza!!
Excellent 10,0
Pros: Staffs are very friendly and helpful. Room is quite clean. Not far from Coventry train station and Birmingham airport by taxi. Good for my business stay
Cons: Have to climb a few stairs to enter the front gate. No big issue, but requires extra work with a heavy suitcase
Good 7,0
Pros: Good selection of items for breakfast. Food was fresh and hot. Staff were polite. Plenty of clean tables available. Room was clean as was the hotel in general
Cons: The bar area is split by the main through fair front the entrance to the lift. Trying to sit and eat a bar snack and chat with a draft from the front door and a constant stream of people coming into the hotel or coming out of the lift
Excellent 8,0
Pros: Polite Staff and fast room service which provided hot food.
Cons: lack of smoking rooms even though booking.com gives you this option.
Excellent 8,0
Pros: The staff were very friendly and helpful. The room was very quiet despite the central location (traffic/promximity to local bars).
Good 7,0
Pros: Pleasant ambiance
Okay 5,0
Cons: I did not like the fact that one of the rooms I booked was upgraded and had the same style room as we had and paid less. Also there were no robes in the room as stipulated.
Good 6,3
Pros: The decor, comfortable bed and sky tv.
Cons: The taxi firm the staff used was more expensive than the one we used to get back to the hotel.
Good 7,2
Pros: everything was like i would of expected it to be
Cons: $review.cons
Good 6,8
Pros: clean and friendly
Cons: poor view from room
Mediocre 3,2
Pros: Waiting staff at breakfast were very nice and efficient
Cons: The hotel had no room service or dining facilities to offer, this was not advertised on the website at the time of booking. The room was at best fair, dirty walls and stained bed linen. The lobby area had peeling wallpaper and appeared generally unclean. I have stayed in many hotels and this was at best pretty poor in comparison. I would rate this hotel as a 2 star.
Okay 4,8
Pros: Caterig staff were very friendly
Cons: The hotel looked tired and in need of refurbishment. The window in my room would not shut properly
Okay 4,8
Pros: The staff are very friendly and professional
Cons: Not all of the rooms are of the same level of comfort and quality however the staff are responsive to issues raised and are happy to move you to another one

Excellent 9,6
Pros: Good food and wine. Lovely staff and a beautiful quiet room.
Cons: I didn't get my 20% off my food!!
Good 6,0
Pros: Lovely setting
Cons: I was at the very end of the corridor. I know someone has to stay there but trying to manage to get my luggage upstairs and through 3 sets of doors was a bit much for a solo female traveller.
Good 6,0
Pros: Excellent service from all staff. Excellent food and restaurant facilities. Excellent ambience in bar and restaurant area. Spacious room layout. Free wifi and excellent car parking facilities. Felt safe as a single female guest.
Cons: External light close to the window and only a thin blind meant that the room remained relatively light all night making it difficult to sleep. Pillows thin, hard and uncomfortable. Shower would not fully turn off and could be heard dripping all night - again making it difficult to sleep.
Good 7,7
Pros: very quiet and romantic hotel to stay at
Cons: stairs going to the rooms were very squeaky late at night
Good 6,0
Pros: friendliness of staff also beside river location
Cons: shower facilities were "tired" and need refurbishing
Excellent 8,0
Pros: We loved everything about it, the food, beer and service was excellent. the room was clean and the location is very good for the Birmingham NEC which was the reason why we stayed at The Old Mill. The pub has loads of character as well. We would definitely stay there again
Cons: There was nothing that we didn't like about it

Pros: The location and setting of the hotel was superb. The room was very spacious and clean. The restaurant had a wonderful ambience and a good selection of food on the menu. Sitting outside, enjoying a drink, on the decking area by the river was very pleasant. The staff were friendly and helpful. I would recommend the hotel to anybody looking for a quiet relaxing break.

Pros: No services available. Glad it was still open. Allowed to check out late for free. Thank you
Cons: Asked for an upgrade, though empty, still wanted £20!
Excellent 9,7
Pros: Modern, comfortable, clean room, tv entertainment
Excellent 10,0
Pros: Everyrhing
Cons: residents not addhearing to the signs that said respect other people by being quiet lat at night
Excellent 10,0
Pros: Comfortable bed, Lovely bathroom, privacy respected and a variety commodities to choose from
Cons: Just the process of ordering food - app is useless and room service is 5-10pm
Okay 5,0
Pros: Quiet area of Coventry, nice and peaceful after the hustle and bustle of the 'city areas'. We had a large room with a large, very comfortable bed.
Cons: Having checked in, we entered our room to discover a 'bomb site' (the room had not been made up after the previous occupant). We were upgraded to a better room but the hotel had two rather disappointing points that should be addressed ... The corridors were 'littered' with the remnants of peoples food and drink from their rooms (and these items stayed outside of the rooms, in the corridors, overnight and were still there the next mid morning) ... and ... the hotel is understaffed, there was a painfully slow wait for breakfast and checking out.
Excellent 8,0
Pros: Because I was down for a wedding the hotel was suitable for a function tobe held in.
Okay 5,7
Pros: The Hotel rooms and surroundings were nice and comfortable. The bar staff and reception were helpful and efficient. There was a great atmosphere in the bar. Food was excellent and plentiful. Good locatiton too
Cons: The restaraunt staff were poor. Particularly at breakfast time. There did not seem to be any maagement present at breakfast time and staff had no interest in making sure you were looked after. 2 mornings we had to ask for basics like cups for our coffee, milk, knives and forks. The staff did not respond pleasantly to this, like it was too much work for them. I did notice a change on Monday morning when we were looked after very well but the staff were also different.
Okay 4,7
Pros: when we arrived there was a queue, only one person on reception, but very friendly.
Cons: no sheets for the wee ones bed, asked 3 times for sheets to be put in her room, she ended up sleeping on a bare mattress, not impressed, nice pub food but took forever to come.
Good 6,0
Pros: Comfy beds and good breakfast staff friendly
Cons: Could not find second towel and tea, coffee and kettle kept in a draw
Okay 5,6
Pros: Ease of booking in, room size, location for arranged meal near NEC.
Cons: Thickness of walls which moved everytime adjacent room slammed door in early hours, shower over bath always dangerous if slip (has happended in Austria-still hurts) - shower cubicle better, bed not stable so creak/move with every twist or turn, mini bar be handy but not specified on booking so aware not available. paper requested when we were prompted but no show up to check out time - issued free when leaving which nice touch as bill paid at that stage
Good 6,0
Pros: Ease of checking in and out. The location was ideal for our purpose. However the pool was too crowded to use during our stay.

Pros: It is a nice hotel for the price. Nothing fancy, but the rooms are clean and the town centre is a short walk away.
Cons: Not having a decent menu for the evening meal. I mostly ate out.
Excellent 10,0
Pros: It was a great location, easy access to town, railway station.
Cons: Wasn't anything I didn't like
Excellent 10,0
Pros: The staff was excellent.
Okay 5,4
Pros: It has a lift. Most of the staff were friendly.
Cons: It seems quite insubstantial in the bathroom ... creaky wall-mounted toilet. Paper cups for use in bathroom just unwrapped on sink ... wouldn’t use them. Pretty tight with the tea, coffee and milk for a two night stay ... had to ask for more.
Excellent 8,0
Pros: Staff were excellent
Cons: Due to the covid 19 pandemic unfortunately the breakfast was poor.
Good 7,0

Cons: Delay in food service

Okay 4,0
Pros: Budget hotel, that close to the city center.
Good 6,7

Good 6,0
Pros: pleasant, helpful staff
Cons: food could be improved and eating area made more comfortable
Good 6,3
Pros: It was general to the centre centre and public transport
Cons: menu . . Was alright for people looking for snacks only
Good 7,0
Pros: Location is very good very close to station and shops. The hotel has good parking area. The staff were ver helpful.
Good 7,2
Pros: Friendly staff, clean room with mobility bathroom, nice bar area.
Cons: Reception did not stand out upon arrival in the car park.Bed was very uncomfitable with a chip board base and a firm foam mattress. The room had a list of items the hotel could provide on request, one of them was for a 'vibrating pillow', I asked about them but the staff and manager did not seem to know what I was asking for ?
Good 6,0
Pros: Very pleasant staff. Clean, tidy.
Cons: Some small maintenance issues. Telephone connection intermittant. Overflow pipe on sink not connected.
Good 6,4
Pros: The room was comfortable. I was pleased to have a smoking room (few & far between these days!). The hotel was quiet, pleasant and well run, the staff were most polite and helpful. Plenty of parking spaces. Prices for rooms reasonable.Cafe service quick & food quite good.
Cons: Would have liked cooked breakfast, though the continental one was adequate with plenty of choice. The door `key` did not always work first time. There was a bit of a `drain` smell in the bathroom. The Cafe menu was a bit limited. Drinks a bit expensive.
Good 6,0
Pros: Clean and tidy. Nothing fancy but you have everything you need for a comfortable stay

Pros: Great food, wonderful staff, very clean room and bathroom.
Good 6,0
Cons: i didnt like the noise from hallway and the airconditioning kept me awake so didnt get the rest i needed after a long journey.
Okay 5,0
Pros: Fine,it is good and the service is fine .the only problem is it is too cold inside the room, even if turn the air conditioner to 30degree
Good 7,6
Pros: Good staff on reception and in breakfast room
Cons: Room was a bit cold - had to ask for a heater. Toiled for a long time to get internet access - when I queried with reception they said they had to "release" access - which was annoying as I wasted time trying to resolve. Would have been useful if there had been a notice in the room to this effect.
Good 6,0
Pros: Staff helpful and discrete
Cons: Hotel was cold in places at times toilets on first floor were rather lonely, seemed strange that none on ground floor
Good 7,7
Pros: Nice place and centrally located
Cons: Room wasn't very warm
Okay 4,7
Pros: The hotel was easy to get to. The room and bed were comfortable. The breakfast buffet was of a very high quality, it's not often that hotel breakfasts are worth the money but this one was.
Cons: The room had not been vacuumed before I arrived. The room was too hot when I arrived and the air conditioning was set to be 'centrally controlled' so I couldn't change it.
Good 6,8
Pros: very friendly and helpful staff, central location
Cons: $review.cons
Good 7,2
Pros: Room was excellent
Cons: Restauant was fully booked in the evening although plenty of takeout places to choosee from. The staff were really slow in the morning at breakfast too ordered a coffee and then sat there for 10 mins with no one explaining it was self-service and then not knowing how to charge the bill to my room account. Was in a hurry, so really annoying
Excellent 8,0
Pros: From the second you set foot through the doors into the foyer, there was a great warmh of welcome as well as a very high standard of cleanliness and attention to detail on the interior design.

Good 6,0
Pros: Breakfast was good. Location was great - just outside of town, peaceful and surrounded by countryside. Staff were responsive and helpful.
Cons: Having booked a "king" room, I expected a larger room. As it was, we had to squeeze between the bed and the wardrobe to get around the room. It felt small and cramped. The room and en suite was basic - comparable to student accommodation, rather than a hotel.
Excellent 8,8
Pros: Ideally situated for our visit to the area . Staff were super efficient and helpful . Breakfast was great .
Cons: The pool area was tired but functional . Rooms were very comfortable but again a bit tired .
Excellent 8,0
Pros: The staff were all very helpful, friendly and polite. The meal was excellent and was presented in a great way. The room was very spacious and was just right for our stay.
Cons: The bed was not very comfortable and it was on the high side for me to get into as I am disabled and also on the short side when it comes to height. Also could have done with some proper pillows and more of them. Also could have done with more milk on the tray in the room.
Good 6,0
Pros: Main building is beautiful, full of character
Cons: Rooms building - it felt like we were sent to a butlins block
Excellent 9,0
Pros: Quality and presentation of food. Very comfortable King room.
Cons: More options for dairy free and gluten free. I brought my own bread, breakfast cereal and almond milk and biscuits.
Good 7,7
Pros: stayed at hotel after a wedding that took place there. found the staff helpful and friendly and food was exellent.
Cons: none
Excellent 8,0
Pros: The staff were very attentive and nothing was to much trouble. They ar a credit to teh hotel and company. PLease pass on my comments.
Okay 4,4
Pros: Very friendly staff. Excellent breakfast. Good value for money.
Cons: Our room did not reflect the rooms advertised on the web site and this was a huge disappointment. Sauna not working.
Good 7,2
Pros: Lovely room with plenty of hot water and contempory products. Excellent quality towels and very comfortable bed. We were impressed with the ipod dock as well. Polite staff which contributed to a brilliant evening at a wedding reception.
Cons: We were a little disappointed that we weren't informed of the sauna/gym facilities as we would have loved to have taken advantage of these. Perhaps pointing this out on booking confirmations would be a good idea as we didn't have time to look at your web site.
Okay 5,7
Pros: The main hotel part.
Cons: The acccommodation being outside. It felt like you were going to a swimming pool.
Good 7,2
Pros: Wonderful setting, good value for money. Good facilities.
Cons: The furniture in the room was very basic and looked cheap. Booked double room for 2 people, yet bed pushed against wall, so not very practical for 2.
Good 6,0
Pros: Quiet, polite staff.
Cons: My wife complained that the bed was too soft

Excellent 9,6
Pros: Great location, very clean and comfortable bed :)
Cons: Unfortunately it was very loud, you can hear next door very clearly
Good 7,1
Pros: Price was excellent and so was the location.
Cons: There clearly wasn’t enough staff in the bar/kitchen and the shower in the room didn’t have much power.....
Okay 5,0
Pros: Comfortable bed, relatively insulated from nearby traffic noise. Good parking. Near to major road for access to Ricoh Arena (about 12 mins)
Cons: Everything is on the cheap. Shower: only fixed overhead, you cant shower without washing your hair. Door handle in colleagues room pulled off. Cleaners do not thoroughly clean - hairs found around bathroom, complained but no one able to remedy. Only 2 teabags provided. Evening meal cheap & tasteless. Breakfast looked wonderful but tasteless. Would not eat there again. Looks ok in photos but nothing, but nothing is genuine. You might like that sort of thing, fine, I dont. A real 'chain' feel to it.
Good 7,0
Pros: good location, did not have breakfast although the eating area looked welcoming
Cons: entrance to the rooms seemed a little unsecure
Mediocre 3,0
Pros: The room was nice.
Cons: I had to pay double what the rooms are fetching at the moment, I was charged twice for breakfast & only discovered it after I left. On the first night they had run out of various items on the menu, on the second evening they got a couple of our dinner orders wrong, mine was so wrong, twice, that by the time I got a meal it was ruined & my companions had all finished theirs. The dog policy changed overnight. The staff appeared to have no idea what they were doing & the chef clearly didn't. A completely different & disappointing experience to when we stayed there a few months ago at which time I gave it a glowing review.
Excellent 10,0
Pros: It was all great. Barman was particularly friendly and efficient Room was perfect Loved we could bring our pets
Okay 4,3
Pros: Good parking
Cons: Musty smell in room Bed too soft and too smallLack of desk area,Missing WI FI instructions, No hair dryer. Very cold cooked breakfast
Okay 5,7
Pros: Room was good, pub next door convenient and good value
Cons: Room I was in (32?) seemed to be next to heating system, was noisy all night.Would still recommend but be choosy about room. Had problems at checkout as company was paying b&B and i was paying extras. Staff didn't know how to process as not used to checking out in this way.
Good 7,3
Pros: the location for me was most important for easy to get there and were i was going to
Good 6,4
Pros: Pleasant firendly and efficient staff - Rooms well laid out with plenty of storage - Heating was on and easy to adjust.
Cons: Musty smell in corridor and bad smell from the drains in the room on arrival. Disappointed with the Pub as they had run out of 4 items, including what I would refer to as core items (vanilla ice cream & coleslaw) and breakfast could have been hotter.
Excellent 8,0
Pros: A really pleasant getaway at an affordable price. The rooms are very comfortable and have everything you need. The bar and restarurant are great value with plenty of choice and again is very comfortable.
Excellent 8,0
Pros: Very pleasant staff, nothing was too much trouble. Attached pub provides excellent food. Allowed us to remain in the car park after checking out while we visited local area. Our room was nicely furnished with a double and a single bed. (Family room but used for two people, at no extra cost)
Cons: Nothing really bad to mention, although the handbasin plug was missing, but this was easily resolved. No hair dryer in the room, but one is avalable to use. We took our own.
Okay 5,2
Pros: The pub/restaurant was very good. Good food and cheap too however it was very busy and there was a 45 minute wait for a table in the dining room although you could eat in the bar area.
Cons: In spite of me reserving specifically a twin room, when we arrived it had been given to someone else and there was only a double room available. Apologies were given but what is the point of a reservation if any requests are ignored by the hotel.
Good 6,4
Pros: Clean, tidy, spacious well appointed room, quiet, good breakfast, good pareking, convenient location.
Cons: Showing limited wear aand tear but not detrimental to the overall experience.
Okay 5,6
Pros: Good value for the money, staff friendly and helpful. Room clean
Cons: Shower very slow running water.
Okay 5,6
Pros: $review.pros
Cons: Tissue paper insufficient. Towels not enough for two people, there was only one set

Excellent 10,0
Pros: Staff were brilliant throughout, nothing was too much trouble.
Cons: Nothing it was all lovely
Excellent 9,0
Pros: All the staff were unfailingly cheerful and friendly. The hotel has recently been refurbished and both the rooms and public areas are very pleasant. Breakfast was plentiful and hot.
Cons: Toilet flush was a bit temperamental
Excellent 9,0
Pros: Atmosphere was brilliant, food great
Cons: I didn’t like hidden changes, booked online the room for 72£ then on paying getting told the following day was 85£ that is really annoying. Its not good at all. I didn’t like that at all, should ave been told not when you’re living there is extra charges.
Excellent 8,0
Pros: This is the 2nd time I have stayed here It’s a lovely hotel and good value for money
Good 6,0
Pros: Friendly staff, comfortable bed. Large swimming pool.
Cons: The bathroom was not very clean. Lots of bits of black and pink mould in places that could easily have been cleaned. The menu in the restaurant did not list all of the ingredients in the food so I ended up with mustard, which I don’t like, on my food. Whilst I could scrap this off, it is not good practice to exclude ingredients like this on the menu. Better labelling needed. The walls of the room were very thin. We could clearly hear what our neighbours were listening to on the television at 6:45am.
Okay 4,0
Pros: Very clean
Cons: Very poor service especially in bar
Okay 5,3
Pros: Staff reacted well to setbacks. Very nice room (albeit next to car park), but some lights didn't work. Excellent swimming pool.
Cons: Our room was for disabled people, and had no shower facility and an awkward bathtub. There was no TV remote or tea/coffe making facilities, but staff quickly remedied this. Directions for getting to hotel need to be reviewed.
Okay 5,7
Pros: easy access to major cities and tourist locations, eg Stratford
Cons: the bar was unusable as there was a wedding reception and for most of the evening only had one bar man serving, hence very slow service.
Mediocre 3,7
Pros: The swimming pool facilities were good.
Cons: The bar service was poor and the size of the meal was poor value for money. There did not appear to be enough staff for the size of the hotel. The record of our booking was not on computer and they blamed the booking company which was very unprofessional. Also wrongly stated I was room only and not bed and breakfast.
Good 6,7
Pros: I wasnt happy with the first room they provided, but they gave me an upgrade without fuss. the second room was lovely, and the spa was well appointed
Cons: The standard rooms were small and needed updating.
Mediocre 3,6
Pros: food / room service was good
Cons: heating was broken, hairs on the bathroom floor and carpet grubby
Good 6,0
Pros: The geography of the hotel with steps and stairs made it difficult to move luggage around. I have a case on wheels like many to save carrying. I thought that email assess in an improved and upgraded hotel was poor only really being available in the common areas.
Cons: $review.cons
Good 6,8
Pros: Setting and atmosphere.
Cons: Very slow bar service. No draught beers or lagers available, apparently sold out. Beer was obtained by the manager after I complained.
Good 7,6
Pros: lovely tranquil setting and good standard of facilities and food.
Cons: $review.cons
Okay 4,8
Pros: Ease of booking through this web site
Cons: The food standards have dropped. Charging for WiFi access which didn't actually work. Pre-authorising my credit card for "added incidentals" which apparently is for "my convenience"

Excellent 9,0
Pros: everything
Excellent 8,0
Pros: The room was beautiful and the breakfast very nice
Cons: The bar and waiting staff were slow but exceptional service from green on reception
Excellent 8,0
Pros: Lovely period property, with great staff.
Cons: Would have been lovely to have a bath as pictured.
Good 7,9
Pros: The staff was amazing. Good food in the restaurant and bar.
Cons: No gym :( area was a bit boring
Excellent 10,0
Pros: Staff were friendly, welcoming, accommodating
Cons: Speed of service at the bar
Excellent 8,3
Pros: The interior, very comfortable and clean. Beautiful furnishings throughout
Cons: Exterior looked very unloved. Needs lots of work to bring it up to a good standard.
Excellent 10,0
Pros: The staff were extremely welcoming as soon as we arrived and warned us that a few events were taking place so some of the facilities might not be immediately available which was fine. The room was stunning with complemetary tea, coffee, water and sweets and a gorgeous view of the garden sitting out the front of the hotel. There wasn't a great deal of storage space available in the room due to its small size, but its not a bother if you're only planning on staying a few days. The service in the Restaurant was efficient and the food was delicious. The waitressing staff both in the evening and breakfast were very attentive and extremely friendly. The Oak Bar is a gorgeous place to relax and unwind with cocktails and drinks. Overall a dreamy romantic location perfect for a luxury weekend away.
Cons: The hotel in itself is in a random location in a residential neighbourhood but it is within short driving distances to surrounding attractions like Warwick Castle, Stratford Upon Avon and Coventry so that makes up for it. There was loud music on the Saturday evening due to an event taking place but this was wrapped up no later than 20.30 so it didn't disrupt the evening and night time too much.
Okay 4,7
Pros: The room we upgraded to was lovely.
Cons: We had to pay to upgrade to a warmer room. The room we were first allocated was very cold, almost fridge like and the cistern took a great length of time to flush. The drink i was served at the bar had to be returned because the soda was flat so we requested an upgrade. The upgraded room was beautiful. God help anyone who had to stop in the modern wing.
Okay 4,7
Pros: Dinner was very good and the lounge/ lobby area is very impressive and was tastefully dressed for Christmas
Cons: They gave my 2 subordinates free upgrades to 'executive' rooms and passed me over in the process - bodes well for their future prospects with our company :)
Okay 5,0
Pros: Good value for money
Cons: The rooms dated and modernizing brochure showed a lovely. Hotel and was misleading as it did not show the wing we were in. It was if we were staying in a motel from the sixties
Good 6,7
Pros: The atmosphere was good. We came for a party and had a wonderful time
Cons: None
Okay 5,0
Pros: Altough my room8 was fine, i booked 3 rooms one of which was poor, unable to flush wc at 3am.
Cons: lacked alittle atmospere
Okay 5,6
Pros: Easy parking, efficient service in restuarant and reception
Cons: Decor a little shabby and the bathroom bin had not been emptied after the previous occupant left.
Okay 5,2
Pros: Pleasant friendly reception and dining staff.
Cons: I found the bed extremely uncomfortable. Everything else was great, but I would not stay again because of the bed - it was far too hard.
Good 6,4
Pros: nice staff
Cons: $review.cons
Mediocre 3,2
Pros: Location - close to my office
Cons: The rooms are awful - need a serious updating and any form of soundproofing would be good. I felt like I was sharing!!
Good 6,4
Pros: The good service atmosphere and ambience
Cons: none

Excellent 9,0
Pros: Room compact but had everything I needed, usb charger, plenty of sockets, direct access to the garden, friendly and helpful staff, let us have breakfast even though we were late and it a very good breakfast, good food in the restaurant
Cons: Since the hotel is pet friendly would be nice to have a small area were guests with pets were able to eat together rather than leaving them in the cars.
Good 7,0
Pros: Dog friendly. Easy to get into and out of room with dogs. Friendly staff.
Cons: Radiator could do with a scrub.
Excellent 10,0
Pros: Lovely green location , great meal and breakfast, I will stay again.
Cons: Not applicable
Excellent 8,8
Pros: Needs much better signage to the IBIS at the start of the drive. The two men running the reception/bar were very helpful.
Cons: Loads of power points and charging facility. Big car park. Clean, comfortable room
Excellent 10,0
Pros: The room was exceptionally clean the reception staff are polite and helpful and it was nice and quiet and we had a good nights sleep
Excellent 10,0
Pros: Nice, comfy room
Good 6,7
Pros: quite difficult to find but once there ok rooms clean and fresh bar was poorly stocked but otherwise very good overall
Okay 5,3
Pros: As with all chains, you can expect a certain standard of accommodation.
Cons: I had to go and collect an iron from reception as they don't do 'room service', bearing in mind that the rooms are across the car park from reception.
Okay 5,0
Pros: Convenient, efficient and friendly staff, well lit and quiet.
Cons: The rooms really do need a good clean, a coat of fresh paint and new carpets. I have stayed several times and some rooms smell stale.
Good 6,7
Pros: Quiet location, rooms are basic but comfortable and clean. The staff are first rate polite, welcoming and great service.. Great value for money.
Okay 5,0
Pros: Car parking near room
Cons: Breakfast & cleanliness of room
Good 6,0
Pros: Good value, excellent breakfast included. Rooms comfortable and parking good
Cons: Very poorly signed. My sat-nav had trouble finding it
Okay 4,8
Pros: Quiet rooms. Very friendly and efficient reception staff.
Cons: Shabby, tired, basic. Cleanliness of cups (beard trimmings in them both) almost like it they had been cleaned with the towel that had just cleaned the wash basin ....
Good 6,0
Pros: Nice sitting area lovely coffee in vending machine and as much as we wanted to drink
Cons: Heater took a long time to warm the room pillows too soft
Good 6,0
Pros: Easy to locate via a sat nav and close to where we wanted to be (nec @ Birmingham)
Cons: The meal we had served in the bar on saturday night was not what was advertised on the menu. Instead of a Naan Bread served with the Chicken Korma, I was given a greasy poppadom. My wife and sister in law both had a Chicken Kebab served with Doritos instead of the special bread that was advertised. Not very appetising and a very, very cheap alternative which spoiled our meal. The excuse given was that the hotel had been busy during the past two weeks and hadn't restocked. I'll take that with the pinch of salt that was served with our meal!!!
Okay 4,8
Pros: Good nights sleep.
Cons: The room carpet looked dirty, the breakfast was overpriced and the towels were too small.

Okay 5,0
Pros: The bed was comfortable and I like the fact one had a choice of having heating or using the AC. The room was fresh and the staff were friendly.
Cons: The bathroom needs cleaning, the taps walls and shower curtain had mould. The floor boards were so noisy and 1 was out I tripped and nearly fell.
Excellent 8,3
Pros: Comfortable stay, good location, nice and quiet
Cons: Being charged for a full English breakfast. Should be in with the price of the room.
Good 7,0
Pros: More Halal food provided..
Good 7,6
Pros: Very friendly staff who were extremely helpful and efficient. The restaurant provided good food and excellant value as did the hotel accomodation. Would thoroughly recommend this hotel and its staff to friends looking to stay in a hotel in this area.
Cons: None
Excellent 8,0
Pros: Very good value for money, clean and comfortable, free parking and breakfast was adequate. Recently refurbished. Deffinately recommend this to others.
Okay 5,0
Pros: Good breakfast
Cons: The room we were initially given had not been serviced but that was soon rectified. Also the TV didn't work properly but, again, this was soon recyified.
Okay 4,0
Pros: Not a great deal to be honest. Arrived at 7pm and told could not have a meal as there was a christmas party, kept awake most of the night by the party goers banging doors screaming and shouting and then arrived for our continental breakfast to see a box of cereal on offer and that was it!! We left at that point and explained to the receptionist the situation and was looked at blankly!!!
Cons: Most of it, the reception area has obviously been updated and no doubt the rooms are on the cards! Booked the suite and it did not materialise, we had a fairly "old looking" room.
Good 7,6
Pros: Great value for money, I paid £39 for this room at short notice. The staff were very friendly, polite and helpful. The location was great for the city centre, which was within walking distance. Very clean hotel lobby and room
Cons: The shower was a wee bit tricky to turn on/off but otherwise fine
Excellent 8,0
Pros: The hotel was really nice considering it is such a reasonable price.
Cons: Breakfast in the morning started at 7, but was not ready at 7.. Often took about 10 minutes for everything to come out - so not suitable for those that need to leave early.

Pros: Our reservation had been double booked by Booking.com. The owners were extremely helpful and managed to relocate other guests to 'overflow' accommodation off site so that we were able to be accommodated.
Okay 5,7
Pros: evening meal great
Cons: continental breakfast lrft a lot to be desired
Good 7,3
Pros: Very relaxing night at the hotel prior to an exam. The food was excellent and staff very friendly.
Okay 5,3
Pros: I read a few of the reviews before I stayed at the location. I was in room 7, which was clean and tidy, but near to the kitchen area. Staff took their break outside and due to thin walls, conversation could be easily heard. No real noise after closing time. The matress was a little soft for my liking and uncomfortable in places (possibly getting near to being in need of replacement). Breakfast was simple but ok. Staff were friendly and helpful. Would stay again.
Cons: Stayed in room 7. The bed was soft and uncomfortable in places.
Okay 5,3
Pros: Location convenient to NAC Stoneleigh Park
Cons: Bathroom was poorly-ventilated and damp
Good 6,4
Pros: We were using it for a base to visit the Trade fair at the NEC and so was ideal as we were not looking for accommodation with lots of facilities
Cons: for what we needed no
Good 7,6
Pros: The staff were all very friendly and helpful. The room was decorated nicely and all the facilities worked as they should. The breakfast (included in the price), was good as was the food served in the pub in the evening.
Cons: No bad points to think of.
Good 6,0
Pros: Good location and good sized room. Bar food good.
Cons: Breakfast poor. Cooked breakfast no longer supplied. Sachets of Nescafé coffee and hot water.
Okay 4,8
Pros: Very compy room, clean and nicly decorated
Cons: Complete mayhem at Breakfast on the Sunday they seemed suprised to be serving at all. We had to ask for everything from bread butter to cornflakes tea coffee & milk. Very little choice and a member of staff who clearly found it an inconvience also there were still dirty glasses on the table from the night before
Excellent 8,0
Pros: We liked the proxomity of the hotel to the event we weer attending, and we liked the services provided by the hotel which meant we didnt have to travel further

Pros: It served a purpose for my requirements.w
Cons: Decor and repairs could do with updating and freshening up.
Excellent 10,0
Pros: Loves the bath and shower as the water is lovely. The staff was friendly and polite
Cons: It was bit cold as heater not working.
Good 6,5
Pros: Bed was surprisingly comfortable, and hotel was centrally located!!
Cons: The decor throughout the hotel was very dated. Our room was very poorly cleaned, on the mirror a previous guest had written "not cleaned 14/8/2014"!!
Mediocre 3,0
Cons: Pillows like bricks asked for soft one and couldnt provide. Rooms red hot and no fans available.work
Good 7,0
Pros: The history and the pubs

Pros: No breakfast taken as we were going to an event

Mediocre 3,0
Pros: Leaving
Cons: Website states Carpark, there is no carpark at the hotel, I had to use a pay and display 6 minutes walk away. Room was very poorly maintained. No vending machine in operation so could not get a snack on arrival at 11pm. Breakfast was luke warm, just passable but not worth the £10 charged
Okay 5,0
Pros: Very close to shops and services - within 5 minutes walk of the main shopping area.
Cons: Had no key for my room so I had to be let in by hotel staff each time. Got held up at reception as somebody was being quite forthright in asking for rooms to be swapped around. As I was the only other person waiting I feel I should have been served first so that the receptionist could go back to the more complicated complaint. Lift was broken and kept stopping on floor 5. Windows are complicated which could be an issue in summer.
Mediocre 3,3
Pros: In City Centre

Mediocre 2,4
Pros: nothing
Cons: The quality of this hotel was very poor, its badly needs modernising, the heating did not work and the food was poor.

Pros: It was cheap. It was close to the court. It had free parking. The Bed linen And towels were clean. The shower and bathroom were clean. Pleasant staff. Free WiFi that was actually very efficient. Coffee, tea and kettle in room. Working tv.
Cons: The outside of the hotel was tired. Saw a bundle of rags lying on stairs outside and it was never removed. The room carpets were slightly sticky in places. The bed mattress I think was very old. It was hot in the room. The remote control was dirty. All the walls along the corridors needed a paint job. Saw some nasty stains on one wall that looked like blood or poo. Carpets looked excessively old and tired. Downstairs young people and children were sitting on the couches and they weren’t guests. So definitely a concern iro virus transference. Never saw a single cleaning person. I think that the skew headboard and the unnecessary throw pillows had a musty unwashed smell. You get what you pay for.
Okay 4,0
Cons: Very dirty environment
Okay 5,0
Pros: The way the staff delt with the situation as the first room we went into was very dirty and previous customers clothes was left under the bed and stains on the carpets ,hairs all in the bathroom. They changed our room and was alot better and clean
Cons: Cleanliness of the rooms ,and there was no information on if there was free wifi offered ,food ,refreshments etc
Poor 1,0
Pros: Nothing
Poor 1,0
Cons: The receptionist could not understand English, during corona virus time no protection, the Asian guy with long hair started to pick his nose and touch his face and then pick up the card machine, I asked him to wash his hands.
Excellent 8,0
Pros: It was a good price and suitable
Cons: Bar was closed
Mediocre 3,0
Pros: Location for station
Cons: Dirty
Okay 5,0
Pros: They had parking
Cons: Really run down room! Toilet barely worked! Shower was a joke. Only one pillow! Bed was rock hard and could feel every spring. Cleaners make a hell of a noise. Screaming and singing.
Okay 5,0
Cons: No restaurant as advertised.
Okay 4,0
Pros: Nice, well-stocked little bar. And the cost - very reasonable
Cons: The room itself and bathroom were very dirty. My toilet had no toilet roll.
Mediocre 3,3
Pros: Nothing, except from the location.
Cons: It was the most terrible hotel I have ever being. It needs renovation from scratch. (note: I have visited many many other hotels).
Mediocre 3,0
Pros: If I had read any of the reviews prior to booking this hotel, I would have avoided staying there even if I had been charged nothing. As it was, even the £30. that I paid was an extortionate rate to pay for staying just one night in the place. It is dirty beyond belief, and the "decor"/ facilities belong in a "Grade 1 Listed" museum of typical 50s/60s design - (when thoroughly "deep cleaned"), - not in what anyone should expect of a purportedly "AA 3 STAR" accommodation, No Matter What Price is asked!!
Cons: See Previous Paragraph.
Mediocre 3,7
Pros: Very little
Cons: Dinning facilities
Okay 4,4
Pros: conveniant to City
Cons: Room not cleaned and bed not made up. TV. not working and hotel failed to mend faults. Not dissabled friendly no lifts no ground floor rooms
Okay 4,8
Pros: Spacious room. Good location.
Cons: The general sense of the hotel was 'down at heel'. I sensed it has changed hands and did not feel as well maintained as previous stays. One serious defect was that the cold tap on the bath would not work - I reported this.
Okay 5,2
Pros: Quiet and peaceful surrouding
Cons: It took more than 1/2 day to find an iron and an ironing board when requested for. Also, there was no pressing and laundry facility available at the hotel.
Okay 4,0
Pros: $review.pros
Cons: staff really not interested in their job, no greeting, no smiling. Downstairs of hotel very shabby. Asked for bar snack menu, told that someone had it. It was a typed list in a plastic sleeve, my grandkids could have produce something more professional and she is only 7!!. Room was ok. glad I was not paying full rate.
Mediocre 3,6
Pros: Location
Cons: Very out dated, and looked unclean, stained and frayed carpets throughout, first room tv not working, trouser press wires hanging out and not working, bathroom dirty and bath enamel comming off, room decor dirty, view out of window filthy flat roof that needed maintenance, dining room frayed carpet and broken dividing cables on mezzanine, Waiter, although pleasent chap absolute hyper ! run run run run everywhere as in a panic.
