Pros: This place is lovely and very special! The staff were very good but we didn’t really interact beyond check in. The views are unparalleled especially from the common areas. We booked in December so we knew the outdoor spaces wouldn’t be usable. If it were summer, using the outside grounds, it would be magical!

Cons: Room rug was dirty.... beachy looking

Pros: Loved our stay! Just a 10-15 minute walk from the action on Commercial Street. The pool area is a great place to relax after hitting the beach. Cookies at the reception desk are a nice touch. I hope we'll get to come back soon!

Pros: The staff is so friendly and helpful. The breakfasts are great and saved us a good sum of money. Rooms are big and well soundproofed (a good thing because we were right next door to two families with small children.

Pros: Casey welcomes us to the hotel on the first day and he was amazing. He couldn’t have been more helpful. We felt like princesses and very much at home

Pros: We loved the convenience of walking into town and to our favorite breakfast place. The grounds were very quaint and was a surprise to us. We travel this area often and found the SeaGlass spa to be a hidden gem.

Pros: The service was absolutely lovely. They even booked us their favourite table at a restaurant right by the piano, and we had a brilliant night because of it. The Jacuzzi is also an added bonus! Would love to go back, we thoroughly recommend it.

Cons: My stay here has always been a wonderful experience. I was just a little disappointed this last trip because breakfast is included and there was nothing available, nothing for us to eat in the morning, besides coffee. Disappointed.......

Pros: The hot tub was a very nice aspect of this property. Wifi worked well.

Cons: The room was pretty small with an odd decoration style. It had one wall with a giant mirror and seemed like an odd 'clubby' decor choice for this style home. The room was also very cold... while the rest of the house seemed warm. There was also an absence of staff for questions or help most of the time, other than at check-in and in the morning for a lackluster breakfast. The house was nice in the kitchen, living area, and backyard hot tub area, but otherwise, the room was a place you'd prefer to spend NO time at all.

Pros: Gorgeous, quiet property just steps from Commercial street. The daily breakfast and evening happy hour marked good bookends to days walking and exploring. John, the outside bartender, was attentive but not intrusive. He was awesome, and the staff was great overall.

Pros: Brass Key Staff was always very attentive. the housekeeping staff was GREAT! Cleaned the room 2x a day with fresh towels. Amazing Breakfast served every morning. Just can't say enough great things to say about the Brass Key. Will definitely be going back.

Cons: We were here for the first leg of our honeymoon (we are a straight couple). Can’t say anyone did anything to make sure we had a good time: we were put in a room overlooking the pool, and at night the area was full of people drinking and partying. The noise was unbearable. We asked to change room and got accommodated to a smaller room, no one even tried to apologize. Other details: uncomfortable pillows, pools could use some more cleaning, breakfast is rather simple and some items looked a little stale (cereals) and you have to bus your own table. Definitely not at the level a 400$/night facility should be. Won’t be back.

Cons: Made reservation using your website online. When I arrived at the hotel less than 26 minutes after the reservation was made., the hotel desk staff Jen, told me she did not have the reservation and to wait a moment. We sat in a very pleasant Lobby had a cup of complementary coffee and waited, less than a few moments later, Jen said here's the reservation but you've made it for Sunday night not for tonight Saturday. I told her we would not be here Sunday night and did not know how that had to happen. She said we could have the room for the night but it was twice the price of what was booked online. It was unaffordable for me and I asked if it would be possible to just cancel the reservation, as it was an obvious error and the reservation had just been made. She was very nice and told me I would need to call kayak and she would take care of it on our end. We thanked her left and found other accommodations. On Monday I saw there was a charge to my credit card account from Colony cape inn, when I called the hotel on Monday and spoke to Mis Sheila she told me there would be no refund and was very rude and almost hostile. I explained exactly what it happened with making the reservation what the mistake was all the circumstances. She said there would be no refund of my deposit and she would have the general manager call me. He did a short time later his name was Steve and he was equally as rude and hostile. he told me several times that I needed to be more careful when making reservations and that this whole affair was my fault therefore the hotel should incur no cost. When I said we had hardly prevented them from RI renting the room as it had been such a short. Of time between the reservation and the cancellation, he told me that hotel had incurred a significant expense just using my credit card and now having to refund the deposit. I told him I would pay that amount and ask how much it was, all he would say was it was a significant amount. He ended the conversation by telling me I may have to wait up to 7 days for the refund. I was not expecting any refund but remarkably on Wednesday the money had been refunded. I don't know how the reservation mistake happened but it was a very upsetting experience and sure took a lot of time and aggravation to straighten out

Pros: Awesome hotel! Rooms are very very pretty and clean, good design. Had all the facilities like fridge and microwave. The territory is pleasant, too. The pool was closed for the season, but it's there. Has a fireplace :)

Pros: The staff was very helpful, helped me to get parking. The rooms are very well designed and included everything I needed. I rated the overall experience less because of noise - listed below.

Cons: One night a dog in the room next to mine barked for a couple of hours after 10:00, it's owner obviously out. I wish they would separate the dogs and their owners in another building. I value a quiet place to sleep when I'm on a trip.

Pros: This property was pretty much exactly what I expected from the description and reviews -- a perfectly nice and acceptable beach town motel. I picked it for two reasons, the location and that it had parking when I knew we'd have a car (Ptown parking=horrible). We liked having a 15-20 minute walk to the center of town, we feel less guilty having an ice cream ;) and it is also a little quieter. We never made it down for breakfast, but it was offered, and everyone we encountered behind the desk was pleasant and helpful. The bed was a wee bit soft but overall comfortable for 3 nights.

Cons: This isn't really what I didn't like, more just "it is what it is"........It is probably the same at 90% of properties in Ptown. We were on the second floor of a three storey wooden building, you could hear just about every footstep above you or along the outside hallway, especially people dragging luggage or clomping up the stairs. You can't really avoid this, just be aware. Also, this is a beach town, close to salt water, virtually everything metal will start to corrode or show "signs" of the salt air in less than a year, that's just the way it is. Our bathroom must have been fairly recently updated as it showed very little signs, nothing fancy but well kept. Little tip: There are two buildings, the one in the picture that is literally on the beach, and the one across the street. I believe all rooms are about the same, but clearly the ones in the beach building are the more "premium". The building across the street (where we ended up) has two sides of rooms, facing the back parking lot or facing the street and beachfront building (they call this "courtyard view"). I won't say one is better than the other, it depends on what you want, but just be aware when you select.

Cons: Only downside was the pool was cool as heater was turned off for several days due to rainy weather (It was early October but advertised as heated pool through 10/14)

Cons: Did not say in description of hotel that animals were allowed. After 10 minutes in room allergies kicked in. Had no choice but to stay night. Next day was told that all rooms allowed animals. Beware that in Ptown animals are more important than people

Cons: It was extremely rundown and dirty. Room service did not once clean. They would make the bed and fold our towels but not vacuum or actually clean.

Cons: That they were short housekeeping and asked if it was ok if they just gave xtra towels for a $10.00 coupon to an expensive restaurant across the street.

Pros: Convenient location - walking distance to downtown attractions in Provincetown. Staff very friendly and helpful. Room was clean and comfortable. King room right on the water - sweet deck with beautiful view of the harbor.

Pros: We had the first floor right in the beach, it was an amazing location and a great room! We loved the firepit for the evenings. About a mile walk to the heart of town, past a lot of cool shops and beautiful house.

Cons: The food for breakfast was a little lame. But always fresh coffee!
