Pros: Great location just outside of the Ptown craziness. Very quiet which I really enjoyed, water pressure was awesome. This place is very simple but with beautiful views. I would totally stay here again. The housekeeper Faye was great too!!

Cons: Made reservation using your website online. When I arrived at the hotel less than 26 minutes after the reservation was made., the hotel desk staff Jen, told me she did not have the reservation and to wait a moment. We sat in a very pleasant Lobby had a cup of complementary coffee and waited, less than a few moments later, Jen said here's the reservation but you've made it for Sunday night not for tonight Saturday. I told her we would not be here Sunday night and did not know how that had to happen. She said we could have the room for the night but it was twice the price of what was booked online. It was unaffordable for me and I asked if it would be possible to just cancel the reservation, as it was an obvious error and the reservation had just been made. She was very nice and told me I would need to call kayak and she would take care of it on our end. We thanked her left and found other accommodations. On Monday I saw there was a charge to my credit card account from Colony cape inn, when I called the hotel on Monday and spoke to Mis Sheila she told me there would be no refund and was very rude and almost hostile. I explained exactly what it happened with making the reservation what the mistake was all the circumstances. She said there would be no refund of my deposit and she would have the general manager call me. He did a short time later his name was Steve and he was equally as rude and hostile. he told me several times that I needed to be more careful when making reservations and that this whole affair was my fault therefore the hotel should incur no cost. When I said we had hardly prevented them from RI renting the room as it had been such a short. Of time between the reservation and the cancellation, he told me that hotel had incurred a significant expense just using my credit card and now having to refund the deposit. I told him I would pay that amount and ask how much it was, all he would say was it was a significant amount. He ended the conversation by telling me I may have to wait up to 7 days for the refund. I was not expecting any refund but remarkably on Wednesday the money had been refunded. I don't know how the reservation mistake happened but it was a very upsetting experience and sure took a lot of time and aggravation to straighten out

Pros: The room was clean,big and updated. The breakfast was muffins,bagels,cereal,fruit,juice and coffee. The beach was across the street and the bus shuttle stopped out front.

Pros: Staff was very friendly. Beds very comfy. Piano bar in lobby piano player sings music more for adult crowd but a lot of fun.
Cons: Breakfast was minimal. Bread, muffins and bagels seemed store bought not freshly made. Also available was small selection of fruit, cereals and boiled eggs. Coffee and tea obviously but no orange juice only cranberry juice. Location at top of hill could be difficult for less able bodied patrons(no elevator either)

Pros: Familiarity. Have been going there for 20 years. Location. A lot of the staff very friendly, pleasant and courteous- most of them. Great breakfast.

Cons: The room is full of some air freshener that is artificial smelling and makes me sneeze. I had to walk a lot and go up stairs to get to my room. There's a lot of empty, wasted space. The art murals are ugly.

Pros: The views from our waterfront room were spectacular. It felt as if we were staying on a boat surrounded by water. The room was very cute. The outdoor area was gorgeous and very enjoyable.
Cons: Like lots of places in Ptown the walls are paper thin. You can hear the other guests as if they are in your room. The water pressure in the bathroom was so low that it was nearly impossible to rinse off when showering. I would stay here again if it was in one of the separate cottages and not in a room.

Cons: The room was extremely small, Terrible experience with a small baby (they should have warned us). The mattress was poor quality and not comfy.The internet connection did not worked at all the first night and there was no one to help us at the office (they close at 6pm).

Cons: It was extremely rundown and dirty. Room service did not once clean. They would make the bed and fold our towels but not vacuum or actually clean.

Pros: I have stayed at the hotel since it was the Cape Inn. I have had many great time and have met some awesome people. Armand who worked the front desk until last year was great. I was happy to see him back this year. I also like the bartender Keith. They are one of the reasons I keep returning. I do plan on returning in the fall and hope to see them. I was a little upset regarding your breakfast buffet. Due to a medical issue I can not eat very much at a time and it was not worth for me to purchase the buffet. I think it would be great to. Have another option. Overall I liked my stay and hope to be there for Halloween. See you soon.

Pros: We were making last-minute reservations and this place was clean, staff were friendly and helpful. We thought the price was very reasonable for the height of the season and the pool-side restaurant and bar were a nice feature, though I can't comment on quality because we couldn't get near the facility during our short time there. Overall, it served our needs, but I would like choose someplace else given more time to plan.
Cons: Pool was too crowded to take advantage of and got a different answer each time we asked what the hours were. The "beach" across the street was not a locale where you would choose to spend a day, but the other beautiful local beaches are a short drive away.

Pros: We had the best time at this hotel. We really loved the bed and the room as well as all the other facilities. The firepit was a definite amazing bonus and we really enjoyed the community feeling at it and met some great people. We are definitely going back next year - with friends and family next time! If you like to bike, you can bring one or rent one in town. The staff was all super nice and we had great service. When we first got to the hotel the manager/bartender at the pool (forgot his name) made us an AMAZING mudslide- best I've ever had! The restaurant food was very good and they had $2 Taco Tuesday! Towards the end of our stay we lost our desire to go into town because we loved the hotel so much. There is a beautiful beach right in front of the hotel that is WICKED at low tide. Also, you don't need a car - we drove but didn't use our car once the entire time we were there. There is a $2 Shuttle bus that runs every 30 min to and from the center of town. Considering parking is $20 in PTown center, this is AWESOME.
Cons: I wish that there were towel rods in the bathroom. Also, we were on a ground floor so we didn't have a table and chair in our room (in the second floor rooms it is on the balcony) which would have been nice. Next time I wont request Oceanview as it is really more of a "car view" on the first floor and we did pay extra to have it. To the person that wrote the review about a small bathroom - get a life - it's a hotel! That said it was the same size as our tiny NYC apartment. Who cares? If you don't like dogs and kids, not a place for you! Our neighbors in the room next store who were really loud - we didn't complain then because we thought it would be too awkward. (it happens)

Cons: This was my second time at the harbor Hotel. This time seemed a bit more rocky. There was never more than one person at the check in desk durning peak check in and checkout 11am and 3/4pm. Long lines. I do want to say that Cassie at the front desk was wonderful, but could have used a second person. Our first night no one cleaned the room or restocked the towels, which was disappointing.

Pros: right on the water, just down the road from Commercial St, the Harbor Hotel was convenient to everything Ptown has to offer. Staff was nice, the bar/ restaurant was big and had a fun atmosphere - they stayed open late as we watched a red sox playoff game. Park and rent a bike at the hotel and then explore Ptown without all the hassles of a car.
Cons: needs more electric outlets - we only had one reliable one in the room for charging, it is the 21st century here
