Pros: It was close to a lot of historical sites, which made it easy to walk and see a lot. Each night in the lobby, they offer complimentary wine but there usually isn’t space to sit unless you get there early. I would not stay here again.
Cons: The staff wasn’t very friendly. They had men at the entrance of the hotel to open doors for guests but they mainly just stood around talking and would use their feet to prop the door open. It seemed like social hour every time I walked in because there wold be at least 4 or 5 men lingering and talking to the doormen. The rooms were decorated nicely but need updating. There was a hole on the way in my bathroom that had tape over it. The bathroom was also extremely tight for more than 1 guest. There would be room service and dining left outside of people rooms for extended periods of time. It overall just didn’t have a good feel and I was surprised Because if all the good reviews I read before booking. I would suggest checking out other options.

Cons: There was not one piece of furniture that wasn’t worn out or filthy- both in the hotel room and the lobby. The style was really cute but time to update or do pleather and wipe things clean. Most of the furniture’s fabric was splitting and torn. I have never seen that at a hotel before, more like a college student’s house furniture. Also - chairs and couches are uncomfortable.

Cons: The room’s temperature was very warm even after putting the room’s temp to a lower temp. It never changed from 74 and it was very warm felt like 80. I called the front desk at night and they told me to put the fan on and lower it to 60 but that didn’t help either. They told me if I continued to be hot to call them back and they would send a fan up to my room. I was very disappointed with the room.

Cons: For a luxury hotel, we found the interiors worn and dark - slightly depressing. Knob was missing from closet, etc. There were throngs of airline employees always crowding the lobby, and we hardly interacted with staff - all fine, but not sure worth the high price point.

Cons: I have stayed here 2x before and everything was satisfactory. This visit did not go as well. The bed was lumpy and uncomfortable. The alarm clock was broken, so I could not charge my phone. The front desk person could care less. We spent close to $800 for 1 night, while we usually spend $300-$400 night. We were desperate, so we paid the exhorbitant cost. Very disappointed. Would not stay here again.

Cons: Taxi access from the Hotel. For mostly weather & timing reasons (we couldn't or didn't want) to walk to our engagements. We tried to access a Taxi through the lobby Bell Captain. It did not work out well: Taxis could not be called specifically, & they were not routinely 'cruising' 17th Street looking for fares. We ended up walking down to Walnut St. where we did secure a Taxi which was 'cruising' for a fare. I suggest that the Hotel devise a better system, or customers come prepared with an Uber app.

I went back to the hotel to inform them and they promised to look through their cameras and get back to me as i had to leave to meet my flight,still waiting for a response,its very frustrating to spend a night in a hotel as prestigious as Le Meridien only to have someone steal my money.

Cons: We did not like the fact that we got to hotel early and ask if a room was ready they said yes but it will be additional 22.00 to check in early. If the room is ready why are you charging me to check in I could see if they had to clean it.

Pros: First--the staff was amazing!!! The people were so friendly and nice, that really made the trip! We fell in love with the staff than the actual place. So there was a water issue and I had to take cold showers, if I knew that before the booking, I would not have gone there. The bed was small for a queen and we could hear the hallway and people coming and going from their rooms, the doors were constantly slamming into the rooms.

The dining area-The Local, took forever to take our orders and food; we noticed there was only 1 server and we felt bad for her.

Cons: There were some serious issues with hot water. I was in town on the frigid marathon weekend. Poor runners and spectators who spent hours outside in wet, freezing conditions, returned to no hot water for showers. Also because of renovations, there were very few common amenities such as vending machines or ice machines. The elevator system was terrible. Using the key card to go to any floor was frustrating. If often did not, leaving passengers missing their floors or forced to step in and save their fellow guests.

Cons: We had no hot water. We were there for a family wedding and drove from Massachusetts to attend and were unable to shower the day of and the day after. The hotel was made aware and suggested we run the hot water. That did not help.
