Summary of reviews
Guests say
Guests consistently praise the hotel's central and convenient location, making it easy to access shopping, dining, and attractions. Many found the rooms and common areas clean and appreciated features like the tub and aesthetic design. However, several guests noted that the rooms and furniture are dated, with some maintenance and cleanliness issues. Service experiences were mixed, ranging from friendly and helpful staff to reports of rudeness or lack of accommodation. Amenities such as the resort fee, lack of pool, and missing in-room features were common points of disappointment. Overall, the location and some aspects of comfort stand out as positives, while room updates and improved amenities are needed.AI-generated from customer reviews

Pros (+) I always stay here completely love it great beds, rooms is large and comfortable and the onsite restaurant is top Notch! Will be back for sure
Cons (-) Room was a tad cold this time but only because it's winter and the room was on the outside facing wall of the hotel. I'd recommend an extra blanket if you're street facing with a few windows.
Pros (+) It was fine for an overnighter.
Cons (-) Room wasn’t ready 30 minutes after check in time. Bar credit was supposed to be applied but wasn’t until I inquired.
Pros (+) We were in town for a wedding and gifted our reservation for Hotel Palomar to the newlyweds for the evening after their wedding. The staff at Hotel Palomar was fantastic- they quickly and easily added names to the reservation and a bottle of prosecco and lovely note was in the room when they arrived. They loved the room and we loved knowing they were well taken care of!
Cons (-) No complaints!
Pros (+) We loved the service and the wine hour. Great ambiance in the lobby. Will definitely stay at Kimpton hotels again.
Cons (-) None.
Pros (+) I have stayed at Kimpton hotels on the east and west coasts and I have always had an excellent stay. The rooms are clean and well decorated, the rates reasonable, the staff warm and welcoming and the customer service exemplary.
Pros (+) Absolutely LOVED staying here. My boyfriend and I stayed here after the marathon. Bottled water when we arrived, champagne and the staff upgraded our room! We got there 3 hours earlier for check-in and because our Queen room wasn't ready yet and my boyfriend was visibly exhausted from the marathon, they gave us a King room that was ready. The rooms are the perfect size, comfortable bed, clean bath...
Cons (-) 18% gratuity and 5$ service charge placed on the food service is a bit excessive. The lady (who was so sweet) brought the tray into our room and had me sign a receipt that had a tip option on it. Just mad it a little uncomfortable. It didn't take away how amazing the food was though!
