Key West hotels near Mallory Square

Cons: Pricey, but worth it in my opinion

Cons: If you decide not to pay the $25/day to park in their spaces it can get a bit tricky to find parking.

Cons: We were given a street facing room which had road construction going on all week, making the balcony unusable and preventing sleep at night. The VACANCY sign was posted at the office. We feel they should have been sensitive to this situation and given us another room.

Cons: Breakfast could have been better. Slight flexibility with checkout time would have been appreciated.

Cons: Parking wasn’t easy, there is no lot, just street parking.

Cons: No phone, no micro, no fridge, no coffee, no parking, no breakfast.

Cons: Bigger shower.

Cons: I was happy with the bed but my husband would have loved a firmer one.

Cons: Low price/quality. Expensive.

Cons: Small (but nice) bathroom and no hot tub

Cons: 4 pm check in, tile in bathroom was very slippery resulting in a fall, no counter space in the bathroom.

Cons: Did not like the staff. Not friendly at all. Very rude.

Cons: Employees of the restaurant appeared to be uniformily grumpy. Everyone else was really nice. Not really a beach. Waterfront yes but the beach was maybe 20’ wide.

Cons: Parking fees are a bummer. I was sad when I heard the news. Our view from our room was a construction site...so we had to use our imaginations to see what was not there. A security guard made us uncomfortable by staring at my wife's beautiful legs. There needs to be more lizards and iguanas on the property.

Cons: A bit expensive for a single with parking lot view and strange, shared entry foyer. I guess it is meant as a sort of adjoining room for a larger group. Every time the neighbor came and went it was two slammed doors. The doors are real loud when they close. I felt self conscious and tried to close them more quietly when I cam and went.

Cons: expensive poor facilities far from town poor service would never go back.

Cons: Everything was and extra charge ie parking and breakfast. The "beach front" wasn't an ocean access which was very misleading. It was located far from most of the activities in Key West.

Cons: I don't see how this is one of the most luxurious hotels in Key West. I felt completely nickled and dimed on top of the extremely high rate for the hotel. They even try to add on a donation to an undisclosed non-profit -- granted it's a minimal donation but a customer shouldn't have to opt out of giving a donation. The parking fee, considering you're so far from Duval Street, is ridiculous and is over $21 after tax. The set-up of the rooms is far from comfortable -- a common entrance for 2 different rooms, which exacerbates the noise made by your neighbor. Furthermore, so much construction was going on around the hotel that we literally had to call the hotel to find out how to enter -- they then informed us that we had to enter through Hyatt's parking lot. I honestly couldn't wait to check out, but even that caused problems as they made me wait in line for 25 min since they only had one person working the desk. Steer clear of this hotel.

Cons: The room wasy way overpriced considering there was no view and that it was not a suite.

Cons: Due to an event in Key West we payed 400$/night which was very expensive! The hotel would have been a great value for 150-200$/night

Cons: Parking was in a ground level garage; our room was on the 4th floor.

Cons: We stayed in a standard king room, which was fine size for us (without cooking amenities). What wasn't great was that it was on 1st floor which is adjacent to N. Roosevelt Blvd, so the traffic can be loud and wake you up.

Cons: They are doing construction and cutting tile 9 to 5 during the week next to the pool. Should have let us know in Advance. Could not use pool or beach all day due to noise

Cons: You have to pay for parking, the beach is nothing to rave about and mostly weeds and grass. The rooms are super tiny. To me the hotel seems appropriate as a 3 star hotel. Good thing is close to downtown and shopping.

Cons: Entrance on curved road. Dangerous entry/egress

Cons: The staff wasn't too helpful, it could have been because it wasn't directly booked with them but through Kayak. I wanted to change from a king size bed to a two bed room but they said they were sold out. However, when walking around the hotel around 11PM I saw plenty of empty rooms with two beds. In addition, I got (initially) charged for drinks I did not have at the pool. Overall it's okay, but I wouldn't book there again unless it was my only option.

Cons: Free parking or breakfast would have been nice.

Cons: Twenty dollar cab ride to Duval Street or twenty dollars for shuttle. Hotel is on main road at the entrance to Key West. Road noise was distracting and sleep disruptive from motorcycles and first responders. Long wait for check in not well staffed or prepared with prepaid customers paperwork.

Cons: The price was a bit high so I expected at least to have complementary continental breakfast that other less expensive hotel offered. Extremely late check in and early check out. Check in does not start until 4:00pm.

Cons: Wile the pool was open, the outdoor bar and hot tub was closed due to a car running off the road and hitting it. That was unavoidable on the hotel’s part of course bat we were told it had happened there months previously. No work had been done on it and the indoor bar did not open until 4 or 5 depending on the day. The only alcoholic beverages available were canned mixed drinks and beer available in the little shop the have. We like spending the day at the pool and going out at night so that was a disappointment. The biggest issue is the location. We knew that when we booked it with Hilton Honor points. Unfortunately, it was more inconvenient than we thought. There is a shuttle that was free at the time we were there although signs said $19.95 a day unlimited. The shuttle was usually full goin and we were dropped off several blocks from Duval and Mallory square although there were shops and restaurants at the location. We used it to go downtown but used Lyft to come back because of the drop off / pick up location. So, my low rating is for the relatively high price compared to the location.

Cons: Houskeeping could have been a little better. First Day, our towels were not changed, which was alright. But we didn't get wash cloths. Also had to use Hand Towel as a bath mat.

Cons: The hotel is far from town. This was our first time to Key West so we didn’t realize that there is only one area that stuff happens, so we might as well have been out in the suburbs. Also the mattress and pillows were not very comfortable. The pool is constantly out of towels. So that is a bit disappointing.

Cons: The elevator was slower than snails snot. You can see the water around all the obstructions. But it is not the Oceanview, it is water but not the ocean. Way overpriced

Cons: Needed more pool chairs.

Cons: The resort fee is too expensive. The shuttle does not run @ all times. A cab cost about $16 to get to Duval St. There were never enough towels in the room; however, when we called, housekeeping did bring more towels within 30 minutes. The room was much smaller than it looked from the pictures on the website. Next time I will also choose to stay closer to Old Town.

Cons: No Resturant on site

Cons: the breakfast wasn't what we expected. and the restaurant after hours, that we had to walk to the "next door restaurant" to get the food.

Cons: Being fairly new, the first room we were provided had issues with the barn door for the bathroom where it wouldn't close. We had paid for a ocean view and we're given a room where the elevator block the view. The front desk was able to give us another room but couldn't provide us then with the size bed we had requested since we were there for multiple nights. The new room was clean and similarly put together but the barn door still on occasion would get stuck. Leaving one of us trapted temporary in the bathroom. The second downfall which really has to do with the location is it is right there upon entering key west so if you request a ocean view room, you're going to hear the traffic coming and going.
