Pros: Only stayed one night and I wish it could have been longer. You can park your car, you won't need it again in Key West. Weatherstation Inn is in a secluded quiet location but just minutes stroll from all the action. Duval St, Mallory Sq etc are just a short walk away and with the Duval Loop free bus stopping at the end of the road everywhere is accessible. We had a top floor room (no elevator) with a shared large balcony. A nice old fashioned ceiling fan (and aircon) Great wi-fi, a small pool, safe parking and friendly staff made for an excellent stay.

Cons: The room we were in was very cold in the evening and at night. Extra blankets were provided but the issue was bothersome. The small table and chairs in the room looked quaint but were somewhat unstable to use. The lighting in the bathroom was not conducive to shaving. The exhaust fan was loud. Small hotels and B and B s in key west pride themselves on quality and presentation of their breakfasts . The one at the weatherstation was mediocre at best.

Pros: The location and the room.

Pros: It was quite pleasant and quiet. We had a one room efficiency which had no view of anything. It is actually what they call a "lock off" which is a bedroom suite from a larger unit. If the door was open to the larger suite I suspect we would have seen a living room, kitchen and a view right out over the water. We had a good rate and did not pay for all that. We only returned to the room to sleep so it fit us just fine. There was a microwave, refrigerator, coffee maker, and toaster which made it easy to have a quick breakfast and we even did a dinner there. There is only one gripe though. Being active folks we rarely returned to the room before dark. The pool and hot tub were only open during daylight hours so we never got a chance to try either of them.

Pros: Loved this hotel. The location is excellent, in a quiet street but 5 minutes from Duval and at a walking distance to all the main attractions (if you're interested, Hemingway's house is just opposite the hotel). The room was spacious and tidy. Loved the sunbeds on the second floor where you could just rest or sunbathe. The breakfast area by the pool is nice and relaxing. Breakfast was also good, plenty of continental style choices. Staff was friendly and helpful.

Pros: The place was close to restaurants and the main shopping area
Cons: Although the rooms have been renovated the walls are thin, you can hear every thing, the air conditioner is probably original noisey and the cover kept falling off, musty and dirty inside. The property was across the street from a faculty that had a wedding and the noise was so loud felt like the wall was shaking. This went on till 10:30. All night long as people came back from the bars slamming the doors and being loud woke me up. I had a horrible night sleep here.
7,0 Good
Pros: Beautiful location, nice place very close to the center and beaches with lovely pool.
Cons: unfortunately the WiFi in the room didn't work and this created inconveniences besides the breakfast was poor, there weren't waffle pancake bacon and other things.
6,0 Good
Pros: The location was great for walking to and from bars, restaurants, and tourists spots. The staff was also great.
Cons: The walls are very thin. I could hear the room next to us when they were talking to each other. Lots of roosters on property that crowed all night. A little sound proofing would be nice.
