10,0 Excellent
Pros: Location and amenities. If we asked for it we got it. Yoga mat, ice, corkscrew, and maintenance. We had one of the newly renovated rooms which was really beautiful. Fantastic view into the harbour.
Cons: Some of the new renovations were not checked thoroughly for functionality. Toilet ran and needed adjustment. The sliding door into the bathroom could not be opened or closed without significant effort. Maintenance could not fix it as the door is too heavy
10,0 Excellent
Pros: It was a true 5 star experience
Cons: The AC in the room had a very strong fan, even when turned down low - it did not extend to the bed so it worked for me but if I had sat at the desk, it was to the point of uncomfortable. But the overall hotel experience was first rate.
10,0 Excellent
Pros: Door service when we arrived was immediate and super friendly. The bell staff was right there to help us out of our vehicle and unload our luggage. Check in was a breeze and the room was upgraded at no cost, to a junior suite! We will be making this stay an annual event for us going forward because of the exceptional service.

Pros: It’s location was exactly what I needed, close to everything the city has to offer.

With a stay at Four Seasons Hotel Boston in Boston (Downtown Boston), you'll be within a 5-minute walk of Newbury Street and Boston Public Garden. Featured amenities include a 24-hour business center, complimentary newspapers in the lobby, and dry cleaning/laundry services.
10,0 Excellent
Pros: Perfect location, nice clean and comfortable!
7,0 Good
Pros: Nice breakfast, especially if you get a window seat. Great location. Smooth check-in and check-out. They added a bidet for us and always very quick with room service. Had unlimited complementary water and would always place extra when they do the turndown service which I appreciate. The staff were always very nice.
Cons: I requested a half day extension but they unfortunately didn't accommodate us even though I checked to see if they had available rooms and they did. The bed was a little uncomfortable and they had the typical duvet sandwiched in two flat sheets, which I quite dislike in American Hotels.
8,0 Excellent
Pros: Bed & pillows very comfortable! Staff very friendly! Great location!
Cons: Service at Breakfast very slow even when not busy ! The Breakfast Tea was never Hot enough ! Would have liked separate Lounge !
10,0 Excellent
Pros: Loved everything about staying at the Four Seasons Boston. The service was impeccable and they really made us feel "at home." My kids especially loved the welcome wagon and cookies and milk :) The hotel was clean, warm and inviting and I would absolutely stay there again. Highly recommend!

Cons: N/A
10,0 Excellent
Pros: The staff was very accommodating after we explained our situation. They even allowed us late checkout. Great place
6,0 Good
Pros: The location was good and it was decorated very retro and on trend. Not a typical hotel chain where everything looks the same. I also liked that they had complimentary coffee and water in the lobby and the room.
Cons: The fan was broken in the room and I mentioned it to two people at the front desk. Both said that they would send someone up with a replacement. That did not happen. Front desk associates were chatting with the valet or using a personal cell.
10,0 Excellent
Pros: Very clean room. Staff was more helpful than expected, offered suggest.
Cons: Only one night so no time to check it out. Was amused by decor including typewriter am radio and record players

Cons: Nothing - Loved it ALL!
10,0 Excellent
Pros: The environment
Cons: The pool closes at ten
10,0 Excellent
Pros: The vibe was really cool and I loved the decor. There was a record library to bring records up to your own personal record player in your room! The decor was really cool and unique: I also loved the 24/7 nitro coffee. Wish we could have had the breakfast which I’m sure was great, but we left too early.
Cons: The manager had her very young puppy tied up behind the desk. Don’t get me wrong I love seeing an adorable puppy, but it did not seem likely e the right spot for an energetic pup and he was clearly agitated (biting on his crate, playing with his empty water dish...)
8,0 Excellent
Pros: Located directly beside Fenway Park and a short distance to The House Of Blues, the location is fantastic! Vinyl records in your room to play, music that was on right when we went into our room... VERY COOL!!! Great, friendly and helpful staff, a guitar you could play was right in the lobby... great hotel!!!
Cons: The outdoor heated pool was closed due to shards of broken plastic from a broken ladder rung getting into the pool, so that was a bummer, but that was all.
7,0 Good
Pros: I liked the retroness of the whole place.
Cons: I didn't like the $55 charge for parking your car overnight. I feel like that was a little much.
6,0 Good
Pros: the way the hotel had a theme of music and was different to normal
Cons: When we got there, there was another charge of $16.00 to use the pool and bar which we were not told about previously. Also we used the pool but there was nowhere to get drinks until 5pm, would have been good to have somewhere to get drinks.

Pros: The hotel had a classy, historic feel to it, with nice furnishings and very clean.
Cons: I was disappointed that there was no common space where you could sit and relax outside of your room. I didn't realize that this was the case before booking; I just assumed it would have a sitting area. Also small bathroom with too little counter space.

6,0 Good
Pros: It was conveniently located.
Cons: The room is small and the 20 bucks per day fee for internet and gym is not worth it.
9,6 Excellent
Pros: Very clean and comfortable. Staff very friendly. The Door men were very professional and courtesy
Cons: Bar and area very small.
9,0 Excellent
Pros: I liked the Godfrey instantly because they upgraded me to a bigger room (just random upgrade based on the fact that I had come from far away). I had a great night's sleep, and I like the little touches like the cocoa at night available for all guests. Great location near downtown crossing, and in the middle of a big shopping area. They even weighed my luggage for me.
Cons: Honestly, I had a very comfortable stay in the hotel. The room felt a bit cool at times, but I had a great sleep, and I probably could have found a way to make it warmer if I really needed to. The major problem with any Boston and/or NY hotel are the taxes and fees that get slapped on to your hotel price, after you thought you scored a big deal on booking.com. But that's not really the hotel's fault (it's Taxachussetts).
8,0 Excellent
Pros: Location, location, location. Easy to get to everything. We didn’t even need a car.
Cons: For the price, room was small and cramped.
4,0 Okay
Pros: Nice staff let us check in early. Had no problem with us hanging out in the lobby when our flight was delayed.
Cons: REALLY tiny room. Kind of a snooty vibe, even though the "Downtown Crossing" neighborhood is a little sketchy. Be careful walking around at night!
8,0 Excellent
Cons: Room had a strange layout, was very dark. Only had 1 window to an inner courtyard, very dark.
9,0 Excellent
Pros: The location
Cons: The bathroom door was a sliding wooden door that does not lock and staying with multiple people where a bathroom door doesn't shut/lock probably was the only odd thing
10,0 Excellent
Pros: Clean spacious rooms, good WiFi
Cons: Bathroom doesn’t lock, many of the charging ports around the room are broken

7,7 Good
Pros: The location was he best part of this hotel. Everything downtown was a short, safe walk (T stops, Fanuel Hall, Quincy Market). The room was small for the price but it was well kept. Everything was clean and staff was quick to respond to any requests we had.
Cons: Our AC/Heater broke on our last day there so we had to move rooms because it could not be fixed that night. It kept making an awful buzzing noise every few seconds and would have made sleeping impossible. It was about 8:30 at night and it was really the last thing we wanted to do. Fortunately, they had another room available, and they told us it was an upgrade (it wasn’t), but it was still a process to have to pack all of our stuff up and move it. No discount was offered for the inconveniece. Otherwise the stay would have been perfect.

10,0 Excellent
Pros: The quality of service at the Langham is exceptional. I would stay again, every time I'm in Boston!

Pros: Clean, quiet, and relatively posh with ample room size. Luxury, but not high end luxury...hotel has good bones, but is older. Still a nice place to stay
Cons: Modern amenities in rooms for technology not really available...no charging ports, limited plugs even near the desk. Also the restaurant was not open at 8:00 pm on a Tuesday, just the bar with a more limited menu.

Pros: All staff we interacted with were very friendly and helpful. Location is right next to the T which made transportation easy. Internet was fast and reliable. Also enjoyed the ability to stream our Hulu shows to the room TV from our smart device.
5,0 Okay
Cons: The restaurant . . . AVOID. It was Christmas and we had reservations. Surprise! the menu was a special holiday list (very overpriced) with unappealing offers. Not the fare we had expected. We thought we'd go get room service instead but only those holiday specials were being served and the kitchen was now closed.

9,2 Excellent
Pros: The hotel was located right in Kenmore Square with the T station steps away. It was nice to be able to travel anywhere in Boston without having to use our car. Room was nice. Pretty standard as far as hotel rooms go. The staff was extremely friendly and helpful. Everything was very clean. The gym was really nice with all new equipment. Both of the restaurants attached to the hotel were excellent and there is room service available 24 hrs. Having a checkout time of 12pm is also really nice. It alleviated some stress of packing and heading out.
Cons: Our room unfortunately had tv/internet issues daily so there was someone in our room trying to help fix it for about half the visit. The light on the makeup mirror in the bathroom didn’t work which was a little annoying for my wife. Our room didn’t have much of a view - we look out at the roof of the floor below us.

Pros: Friendly
Cons: They forgot to restock the daily water -

Pros: Had breakfast downstairs , the location was brilliant, had a wonderful view of the harbour and the room was well lit and beautifully appointed.

6,0 Good
Pros: the hotel was undergoing renovation when we were there
10,0 Excellent
Pros: Top of the line breakfast menu.
Cons: Some construction was a minor mostly cosmetic detraction
8,5 Excellent
Pros: The Charles is a perfect place to stay in Cambridge. It is well located, well designed with contemporary clean lines but still warm, and the Rialto is a fabulous restaurant in the hotel. We had a corner room which was quite spacious which we really appreciated as we were staying multiple nights.
9,2 Excellent
Cons: Cost of parking for hotel guests.
9,0 Excellent
Pros: I liked the location being so close to Harvard. The room was great and fell a notch above what I was expecting.
Cons: The pool was not part of the hotel but connected and therefore had weird restrictions on kids using the pool.
10,0 Excellent
Pros: I had requested firm pillows and they were already in the room when we arrived. Great service!
Cons: Hot water in the shower didn’t get hot enough.
10,0 Excellent
Cons: The price is always so high.
9,7 Excellent
Pros: Location was excellent. The room was very nice and comfortable. Excellent farm to table restaurant and bar.
Cons: Although they had a parking garage, the elevator to the lobby was out of order so you had to take the stairs and the stairs lead to outside the front entrance. Very inconvenient if carrying any bags from the car and also because of sub-zero temps that weekend. Also no in and out access for self parking at $40 per night. If you leave you have to pay again.
2,0 Mediocre
Pros: Room service very fast, and extremely polite room service staff. Beleaguered front desk staff dealing with irate guests kept their patience. They need more support from mgmt. Restaurant is good; really good coffee in lobby in early a.m.
Cons: Multiple, extended power outages occurred; Hotel said due to construction, not their fault--yet construction was on their premises. Fire? alarm problems, PA messages = epic fail. Insufficient instruction to guests. Requested wakeup call--did not receive.
10,0 Excellent
Pros: The bedding (down comforter, great pillows), and the air quality/climate control were outstanding. The room was spacious and beautifully appointed, and the bed was actually more comfortable than my bed and home (and I'm fussy). The pool was excellent.
Cons: No coffee maker in the room. Refrigerator packed with overpriced bar stuff. I was annoyed, but the NY Times outside the door in the morning put the smile back on my face.
10,0 Excellent
Pros: Location was great with excellent service and nice trait ants around in the plaza
10,0 Excellent
Pros: One great thing about Harvard Square is the high energy and bustle, especially when school is in session. What makes The Charles so perfect is that it is a tranquil respite right on the edge of all the happenings.

Cons: Paying for wifi? That’s a veryold-fashioned concept...
8,0 Excellent
Pros: Location was excellent. In addition, there were several indoor walkways to get to the Prudential Center and a variety of restaurants and shops. Since the weather was poor, it was very convenient not to have to go outside to reach these spots.
Cons: I thought I booked directly with the hotel, using the phone number listed on the home page. In reality, it was a third party. The confirmation number I was given was not in the computer at the hotel, and the last name on the reservation was incorrectly recorded. It took over 20 minutes to straighten out the error. Overall, I feel it is false advertising to identify as the hotel, when it reality it is a booking site.
9,2 Excellent
Pros: Great location and great staff!!!

Pros: Very convenient to shopping and dining, this is a nice part of Boston.
Cons: I explored the vicinity and was unable to obtain a late night coffee, I suppose I could have ordered room service.

8,8 Excellent
Pros: The room size and view of corner was excellent. The location is great. Amenities in room are good. However, the check-in was not smooth as we could not get earlier check-in at 12 noon, considering it was mid-week during non-holiday season. I also Marriot Bonvoy member. Then the FO promised to call once the room is ready, she never did. So we check-in at 3pm as normal. The room etc are excellent. But staffs are not friendly. Not rude either though.
Cons: Staffs are not friendly. Concierge never greet. The check-in was not good experience.

Pros: The room was modern, chic and very comfortable. The lobby was super comfortable with a fireplace and tons of seating to relax. Great location close walk to everything

8,0 Excellent
Cons: The bathroom was rather dirty - there was hair in the shower, dirt on the counter, etc. It was doable for one night, but if I were staying longer, it wouldn’t have been acceptable.
10,0 Excellent
Pros: I absolutely loved the front desk help. They were knowledgeable and friendly and very quick to get us checked in and out. The water taxi over to wharf 18 was convenient to use and fast. What a nice treat to use this service. For being next to and overlooking the airport, our room on the 7th floor was very quiet and the blackout shade kept our room dark and restful. The shuttle service from the airport car rental and to the airport the next morning was the fastest I have ever experienced. I had considered staying at the Hilton attached to the airport, but for half the price, the view of Boston skyline, the water taxi, the super quick airport shuttle, it was a great value and wonderful one night stay at Hyatt Regency Boston Harbor. Thank you.
Cons: I sleep cooler than my husband and needed a blanket on the bed. There were sheets of course and a coverlet, but no blanket.
