The airport counter was quick, but then there was only one employee at the next level to give out the cars. The line was 15-20 people long and there did not actually seem to be any cars in the parking lot. People in the front of the line had been waiting a half hour to talk to the one employee. HERTZ IS THE ONLY CAR RENTAL PLACE AT THE AIRPORT THAT HAS A MILE LONG LINE. I HAD TO WAIT AN HOUR IN AN EXTREMELY HOT AND HUMID PARKING LOT FOR A CAR....EVEN THOUGH I HAD A RESERVATION. I WAITED ALL THAT TIME TO BE HANDED A CAR THAT DIDN'T FUNCTION PROPERLY (A TESLA THAT CUT OFF/SHUT DOWN SEVERAL TIMES WHILE DRIVING) AND WASN'T FULLY CHARGED WHEN I GOT THERE. THEY DON'T SEEM TO BE IN ANY RUSH AT ALL NOR DO THEY SEEM TO CARE/TAKE THEIR JOB SERIOUSLY. THE RETURN WAS QUICK AND EASY...BUT I KNEW THAT WAS TOO GOOD TO BE TRUE. I WAS CHARGED FOR TWO EXTRA DAYS BECAUSE THEY DIDN'T GET AROUND TO CHECKING IN THE CAR UNTIL THEY FELT LIKE IT. IT WAS SUCH A HASSLE DEALING WITH HERTZ TO GET THE MONEY BACK. WHEW CHIL THE GHETTO!!! The usb port was not functioning so I couldn’t connect my phone to the screen to see navigation. I had to balance the phone on the dash or hold it the entire time which made for a very stressful driving experience. Also unclear instructions in the parking garage led me to choose an electric vehicle initially which I then had to return. Disappointed.Reviewed Apr 27 2024

My plans were all in place and required detail and...as I was walking out the door to pick up my car(10 minutes away)...I was called and told that no cars of any kind were available at the off-airport location! The key fob battery didn’t work. It was hard to lock and unlock doors and once I couldn’t start the car. I was afraid to go to a store because I was concerned I wouldn’t be able to unlock the car if I locked it. There were no key holes in the doors. They wouldn’t bring me a replacement battery. They were friendly. Car smelled like marijuana and that didn’t get better.Reviewed Dec 30 2021
