Pickup was incredibly fast, we had previously only rented from Budget and that was always a nightmare experience of long lines, no cars, etc. Salesperson was very pleasant, no pressure to purchase extra options. Dropoff was also quick. Only drawback is we waited longer for shuttle at LAX, watching many other car companies go by multiple times, could have been a matter of timing.Reviewed Aug 12 2025

Price was competitive. Drop off in another state was a must which Fox allowed. Pickup wasn’t anything amazing. No instructions to check damages. No explanation on how to start the vehicle. Vehicle was dirty. Could barely understand what the front desk guy was saying. Drop off, no thank you offered or pleasant customer service by the intake person. Shuttle driver was helpful, however made it clear to everyone on the bus that he had to work another shift on Christmas because someone else didn’t show up for the shift. He did apologize about being late but really didn’t need to share that extra info. Overall, decent experience. Probably won’t use Fox again.Reviewed Dec 26 2024

The price on Fox was much cheaper than the brand names. You worry about the shuttle, but it was no different than the other rental companies. The shuttle picks up and drops off at the same location as the other rental companies. The rental pickup was easy. My only complaint is the hard sell on the fastrak toll service. It only applies to the express lanes, not the normal highway. Stay off the express lanes and don't use the fastrak. Car return was easy.Reviewed Dec 22 2024
