Cons: The bed was fine, it was the way the duvet was done, it was a wrestling match to get into it, what happened to good old fashioned sheets. Pillows were a joke, I used two plus a cushion from the settee to get a bit of firmness. Apart from that it was a great hotel.

You are surrounded by restaurants, entertainment, shops and beautiful scenery, and within easy walking distance from the downtown area and the main train station. You couldn't ask for a better location in Dusseldorf and the apartment wasn't noisy despite its location. The place was clean and comfortable and has air conditioning. A mini fridge and coffee makers are provided.

Cons: The bed was not the most comfortable that I have slept in. If you like a very firm solid mattress, then this is your place. I visited in a very busy business week in Dusseldorf, so all hotel prices were incredibly high. I would hope that its priced better during normal periods. But if you are happy with the price you see, I can highly recommend booking here.

Cons: On the negative side the noise from the street outside is very very loud. Although the hotel is very well situated in between Altstad and Königsallee, and on a very short stretch from various parking garages, one might be wise to chose an alternative. The bathrooms are also a bit outdated. Same for the room airco. If you like your room to be cool no way. The airco can't get below 18 degrees celcius.

Cons: When I got there they informed me that there would be an up charge because the room they had for me did not accommodate the number of people on my reservation. Am still trying to figure out if I paid twice for the room There is also no concierge and the staff is not overly friendly.
