Pros: It was nice and secluded from the busy movement of the streets.

Pros: Margrit was very friendly and helped us from the moment we arrived till we left. The lodge oversees a farm with a great view. Guest rooms are clean and well equipped with everything you might need. They open directly to the garden where there are tables and chairs for relaxation. There is also a common area where breakfast is served in the morning and afternoon cake, it has a fireplace which they lit after dark that gives a homey and lovely atmosphere to the place. Margrit arranged for us a safari tour with an awesome guide (Trevor). She gave us good recommendations for restaurants and sightseeing around the area. We loved our stay at Abangane Guesthouse and would highly recommend it.
Cons: The road that connects the lodge to the main gate is one-way and not easy to drive using a small car.

Pros: This place is absolutely stunning and the staff is just amazing! When we arrived they were already waiting outside for us with refreshing drinks. The rooms are so beautiful and neat and their food is to die for. This place is just perfect for a peaceful weekend away from the buzz of the world. The tranquility this place offers is absolutely amazing. It is so peaceful that you can literally sit outside and listen to the sounds of nature the whole day.

9,6 Excellent
Pros: The lodge is in a beautiful farm and nature setting. The staff extremely friendly and went out their way to please the guests. The food was amazing and very well balanced. The spa is definitely worth a visit.
10,0 Excellent
Pros: Highgrove House is situated in a grove, commercially producing the Macadamia nuts. It is an absolute must for nature lovers as it is cocooned within trees (Jacaranda, Macadamia, Eucalyptus etc), and shrubs of all sorts. The serenity, seclusion, and privacy are highly commendable. The staff is very friendly and helpful. It formed a very good base for exploring the Panorama and the Kruger National Park. The guided tour into the Kruger and the spa treatment were particularly impressive. The unit we stayed in was marvellous, fitted with a private swimming pool and a sauna. We'll definitely be going back there.
Cons: Nothing.
9,6 Excellent
Pros: Tremendous service, very helpful and friendly. Loved the suite. Spacious lounge and bed room. Delightfully decorated. Thoroughly enjoyed the cuisine on offer for breakfast and dinner especially the Christmas meal on 25th December. They were able to organise airport transfers and tours around the local area. Spa facilities were soothing and relaxing. The grounds are very impressive. A great place from which to explore Blyde River Canyon and Kruger National Park.
Cons: Nothing really to speak of but would sure love to hear different songs being played at meal times :)

9,0 Excellent
Pros: We were most impressed with the staff, they were super friendly and always willing to answer any questions we had. We specifically want to thank Johlene, Portia and Wander for really making our stay awesome. Along with that, things we liked were: * The bed was really comfortable and we got a good night's sleep every night. * The food was really good. * Our car was washed after a rainy day. * You get free roam of the farm and that makes for a nice walk
Cons: There were only 2 issues that we had with our stay: * The booking.com address is incorrect (however the address on their website is correct). * There were a lot of bees around the room and the swimming pool (apparently the bee keeper was away during our stay and this issue will be resolved once they get back).
10,0 Excellent
Pros: breakfast was excellent, i never experience the treatment they offer us. whatever you ask for, come as it is. i wanted to extend my days if i was not rushing to another meeting on Monday. i give them five stars for everything.
Cons: when we get there before we enter the premises i thought maybe we wont like it but the welcome, oh my gosh, makes me to feel at home, when we get to our room, oh! i felt like i'm in heaven. the garden was beautiful, i'm not talking about food, it was a five star indeed.

Pros: Great value in a tourist area. We had independently booked a game drive and the company picked us up from the property. The guesthouse has beautiful gardens and pool area, we saw a bushbaby in the trees at night. Our apartment was spacious with a well equipped kitchen. We used the braai both nights as the fuel was on hand to purchase and we didn’t have to drag it back from the supermarket. A beautiful breakfast was provided, more than adequate and with table service. Management was relaxed, friendly and took their time to value our stay. Thoroughly recommend.

Pros: The yard is full of nature and is well maintained. The staff is helpful and friendly. The room was clean and special with cute elephants on the bed made of towels (going an extra mile). The owner gave us tips on what we can do around the area and gave us a map to make life easy, he also gave us tips on how to stay out of trouble with the traffic officers. Their breakfast was amazing and very filling.
Cons: The couch was placed off from everything, we had to adjust it so we can be able to sit on it and be able to watch TV. Our tea ingredients were not replaced from the night before on our last night we had one tea bag of rooibos which we both drink so one had to have it. I could've gone for coffee but the milk was not replaced.

Pros: Great hospitality. wonderfall hosts
10,0 Excellent
Pros: Let me start by saying I have never reviewed any hotel/hostel, but thought this one deserves a glowing review. The location is great, the property is beautiful, the beds are comfortable, the rooms are spacious and well decorated. However, the real gem at Laughing waters are the owners- they are the most hospitable of hosts, treating all guests as family. A close second to the hospitality would be the incredible food- dinners are not to be missed (best meal in South Africa) and breakfasts are hearty and delicious. Came back a second time, and will be back in the future! Can’t recommend highly enough!

3,0 Mediocre
Pros: Quiet location. Phillip the guy who did everything.
Cons: Arrived to no WiFi, TV or water pressure to have a shower. TV not fixed for our entire stay of 3 nights. Water pressure issue happened twice, first time we were told there was a burst pipe, so understood. The second time there was no excuse. Owner offered me 300 rand cash back (about £15 of a £210 bill. I refused and told him to at least double it, he did. The owner left Phillip to do everything, we received no apology for the problems.
10,0 Excellent
Pros: The staff are amazing, friendly, helpful and gave an excellent service. It felt like home away from home. The place is beautiful. Will definitely go back.
Cons: Wi-fi a bit up and down but sure it's the provider not the guesthouse.
8,3 Excellent
Cons: Breakfast
4,0 Okay
Pros: We loved the quiet neighborhood. The room was very clean and comfortable - good shower!
Cons: Unfortunately we had issues as payment was deducted wrong.Mistakes can happen - we were told the money would be returned the following day. It took them a week to let us know that the money was actually returned to our card. During this time we worried this could be a hoax as we had to move on and just trust them to do it....this caused us to be very anxious and did not help to build trust in the management. It is a little sad that the doors to the lounge room are closed early when few guests are staying - you must then sit outside or in your room. Wifi was first not working - only after we insisted was this fixed after a day.
8,0 Excellent
Pros: Helpful staff, nice property, clean room and bathroom, close to Kruger
Cons: Hazyview isn't much to write home about, except as a base for trips to Kruger

Pros: Breakfast was good. They serve eggs, mushroom and bacon as hot plate. Everything is tasty and good. Location is great. Nice and quite place to relax. Very good located very close to most activities around. Perfect value for the price.

Pros: We loved the room, so cozy and clean. The grounds were lovely. The dinner we had was one of our most memorable meals of our trip in South Africa. We we wish were staying more than one night to fully enjoy it.
10,0 Excellent
Pros: The spacious room, facilities, really welcoming staff, allowed my visitors to hang out on the premises. Breakfast was awesome loved the zing juice. Insect repellant in the rooms a must in the area, really good to have for guests. The location is amazing, I would definitely visit again.
Cons: The hosts and staff were great. Windows were left wide open after cleaning. I was away for a lot of the time, perhaps a turn to the rooms in the evening might be a good idea to close the windows so not a lot of insects or animals have a chance to enter. I did not have any incidents just a thought. Monitor new cleaning staff cleaning on the 1st Jan was not as the first 2 days but understandable. Grateful that the service was available even on the holiday.
7,0 Good
Pros: The facilities at Hamilton are great. We only had one minor issue with the bedding and it was resolved immediately when we raised it. Lyn was kind enough to upgrade our room. Hubby enjoyed bonding without a TV. Thank you!

Pros: The Scenery. The property had a beautiful view. The view and quietness just gives peace of mind and tranquility.
Cons: The sheets were filthy when we arrived. The next day they changed the bedding with sheets that smelled of pee. We were not happy at all. They need to just replace their sheets and bedding because they have reached their end of life. Also please work on your dinner menu. The food was really disappointing.

Pros: The location, it was quite. The food wasn't that bad
Cons: It was not that clean and honestly the fact that they wrote that they have spa and game drives and being told that they out source it wasn't cool. I think they shouldn't call it a resort but a bnb, there isn't much we could do there

Pros: When you place your order the food does take a little bit longer to prepare especially at the pool. The a la carte menu's food was excellent. The service of the personnel is good and they were very accommodating to us.
7,9 Good
Pros: The hotel has nice villas and garden.
Cons: The personnel at the restaurant during the dinner is not willing to take a-la-cart orders, as they also serve buffet. First we had to wait for the menu, 10 mins, finally We went on our own to take the menu in the restaurant. Then we made an order (nothing special), the lady told she will check if it is available, after 15 mins no feedback. Then we went for the buffet, as 30-40 mins waiting with no food makes one hungry.

Pros: The staff were attentive to our needs. We went to go for a swim and had forgotten to request swimming towels but to our surprise they brought them to us at the poolside. Also loved that they ensured that mosquitos were dealt with so not to disturb us too much at night. The kids loved the hotel as well as the swimming pool.
Cons: There was a bit of confusion regarding which coffee brand is included as part of the complimentary breakfast for hotel guests. Though this was quickly resolved by the manager it would have been better had this not happened at all. Suggest that
