Pros: Phil and Margi are wonderful hosts, and the lodge is even more beautiful than the photos on the website. We enjoyed everything (even the sound of frog at night is very pleasant!). We would highly recommend it to anyone who visits Hazyview and Kruger (the Phabeni gate is only about 15 min away by car so the location of the lodge can't be better).
8,0 Excellent
Pros: Very nice self catering unit. Very clean, the owners are very kind and can help you to organize your trip around. The company they work with for safari is perfect (no more than 6 persons per vehicle)

Pros: Margrit was very friendly and helped us from the moment we arrived till we left. The lodge oversees a farm with a great view. Guest rooms are clean and well equipped with everything you might need. They open directly to the garden where there are tables and chairs for relaxation. There is also a common area where breakfast is served in the morning and afternoon cake, it has a fireplace which they lit after dark that gives a homey and lovely atmosphere to the place. Margrit arranged for us a safari tour with an awesome guide (Trevor). She gave us good recommendations for restaurants and sightseeing around the area. We loved our stay at Abangane Guesthouse and would highly recommend it.
Cons: The road that connects the lodge to the main gate is one-way and not easy to drive using a small car.

10,0 Excellent
Pros: Great hospitality. wonderfall hosts
10,0 Excellent
Pros: Let me start by saying I have never reviewed any hotel/hostel, but thought this one deserves a glowing review. The location is great, the property is beautiful, the beds are comfortable, the rooms are spacious and well decorated. However, the real gem at Laughing waters are the owners- they are the most hospitable of hosts, treating all guests as family. A close second to the hospitality would be the incredible food- dinners are not to be missed (best meal in South Africa) and breakfasts are hearty and delicious. Came back a second time, and will be back in the future! Can’t recommend highly enough!

Pros: Highly recommend! Everything was perfect - excellent staff, very good food for both breakfast and dinner, as well as stunning facilities with some rooms having private pools / outdoor showers. It was a lovely location nestled in the mountains, a close distance from Hazyview, Nelspruit and the airport, and also only 30 minutes to Kruger. The property can also arrange fabulous guided tours to Kruger, Blyde River Canyon and surroundings. They were even able to accommodate the food served to various dietary restrictions that we had within the party. Trust me, you will not be disappointed with this choice...
Cons: Nothing.

10,0 Excellent
Pros: The Peace Calm and Tranquility of the place the fresh air and the interaction of the host
Cons: Nothing to complain about
9,6 Excellent
Pros: very spacious and comfortable , very friendly staff
Cons: The place is 14 km outside of hazyview on the Sabie road. Therefore it is very quite , but you need to drive 14 km if you want to access hazyview or go to dinner etc .
9,2 Excellent
Pros: The accommodation is done to a very high standard. Really clean and comfortable, with luxuriously soft linens and towels. We stayed three nights and felt really comfortable there. It has all the facilities you need and a nice view from the large terrace. As a place to stay it's very good, with lots of things to do in the immediate area. However, we would not use it again as a base for Kruger.
Cons: It's our own fault but we chose Cuckoo Ridge as a base for visiting Kruger Park. With hindsight, in our view, it's probably a little too far away from the gates to be practical. This isn't a reflection on the quality of the accommodation however, just be aware that it is a long - and stressful - drive to the Kruger gates from there.
5,0 Okay
Pros: We booked this room as we were to late to make a booking in the Kruger NP. It is a good option to stay outside the Kruger NP. It takes about 30 Minutes to the Phabeni Gate (for entering Kruger NP) and about 15 Minutes to Hazyview (where you can find groceries, etc.). It is important to buy food as the restaurant at the accommodation is not always opened.
10,0 Excellent
Pros: The bed was extra comfy and the room was clean
Cons: Everything was perfect
10,0 Excellent
Pros: The lodge is in a good location with comfortable rooms. The place is very clean, delicious breakfast and the host Lize is awesome.

Pros: We travel a lot, and I can honestly say we have NOT found a venue as well maintained as Casa do Sol. Let us be honest, it is usually friendly staff that make us overlook bad housekeeping and maintenance. Not at Casa do Sol, they are truly a 10 - in ALL departments. I would personally like to commend Management and Staff on a job very well done. You are truly an example to all others. Keep up the excellent service you will definitely see us again. Kind Regards, Heidi & Dean.
Cons: We travel a lot, and I can honestly say we have NOT found a venue as well maintained as Casa do Sol. Let us be honest, it is usually friendly staff that make us overlook bad housekeeping and maintenance. Not at Casa do Sol, they are truly a 10 - in ALL departments. I would personally like to commend Management and Staff on a job very well done. You are truly an example to all others. Keep up the excellent service!! you will definitely see us again. Kind Regards, Heidi & Dean.

Pros: I didn't have breakfast.
Cons: next time when they convert twin beds into a joint double they shouldn't dump the linen into the wardrobe. It's very untidy and doesn't expand on good customer service.
